Charged 150 dollars just to visit for an electrical issue. Technician, Christian, was in a bad mood, rude, condescending and arrogant. Did not inspect the house thoroughly. Spent two minutes looking at the breaker and assumed the issue was the breaker's age. A potential $1800 job to replace. Also offered quicker fixes that lacked any sort of warranty.None of that would have resolved the issue. The issue ended up being something else entirely: Stairs light fixture, which had recently had bulbs replaced, had overly twisted wiring and ended up getting fried and tripping the breaker. There was also loose wiring in one switch that was found. If Christian spent just a bit longer investigating the house, he would have easily found this out. All in all, paid the same amount to fix it.

I’m extremely pleased with the service that I’ve received from the technicians at Ideal. Phil Beaver was very knowledgeable about the heater/blower settings on my unit. I explained what was happening when the unit engaged and how I had both hot and cold spots in the house. The air didn’t seem to be mixing like it should. He adjusted the settings and explained what he had done and why he did it. What a difference in performance. It’s really working great now. I don’t even know when it’s on. Cudos to Phil and Ideal Plumbing!

We have had quite a bit of electrical work done in the past, but Declan and Mark from Pacific Beach Electric are the best by far. Professionalism and attention to detail are their hallmarks. We asked them to hard-wire and install two wall sconces in an area that was almost inaccessible. They found a way to do it and even kept drywall damage to an absolute minimum. We could not be more pleased with their work. On top of that, Declan and Mark are exceptionally personable and easy to work with. They explained what they planned to do in layman's terms and followed through with the plan, explaining as they progressed. They performed the work on time and within budget. What more could you ask? It was a very pleasant experience for us.
