Anthem Electric

I can't say enough good things about Ken at Anthem Electric! I needed two ceiling fans installed in my house built in the 1970's that didn't have any ceiling lighting and he did an excellent job! The switches were wired to the outlets, but he quickly wired the outlets to always be on, and made the switch connected to the fans. He kept everything clean and was such a friendly guy. His pricing is exceptionally reasonable and I really feel like I got a great deal for the professional services he offered.

Ken was perfect and everything I could ask for in an electrician. I had initially hired a different electrician as I was renovating my entire house. Not to go into too much detail, but the previous electrician left me in a very difficult situation. Ken came in and not only salvaged the leftover mess, but exceeded my expectations. He was efficient, professional, and creative in rewiring sections of my home. All without ruining all the new drywall that had been put in. I could not recommend him more.

I was very happy with Anthem Electric. Ken converted 15 of my 4-pin fluorescent can light fixtures to LED.I found him to be very responsive to my requests, primarily via text message, he showed up promptly as scheduled, did the job efficiently and left work areas clean when finished (protected areas with drop cloths when needed), was professional and courteous, and had very competitive pricing (less than half what another provider quoted me). He also followed up after the job to make sure I was satisfied. Also, when I changed my mind about a fixture after he installed it, he offered to redo it at no charge even though it was my choice and not a problem with his work.This is a one man shop, and you aren't paying higher prices for an answering service or an army of random electricians. You get Ken when you schedule an appointment. You get Ken when you call or make a request. If he's on another job he will generally get back to you promptly, but not always the second you call. I never had to wait long for a response and would rather have competitive pricing and reliable, quality work.I have more jobs coming up and I will call Anthem Electric to do the work.

I really couldn't be more pleased with Ken and the work he did for us today. He moved a ceiling light electrical box, added an outlet outside and repaired an outlet in the garage, which required replacing a burned up breaker. We are blessed our house hadn't burned down!. Ken is extremely knowledgeable, he worked quickly and efficiently and his pricing was very reasonable. Ken is a very personable guy, as well. We will definitely have him back for some more projects!

Honest, knowledgable, personable, prompt and most importantly--does incredible work (and his prices are reasonable!) Ken has earned our highest praise; we have hired him for multiple projects and we have given his name and business to our neighbors; that's how much we trust him! Here is a sampling of what Ken did for us: Install Christmas light outlets, extra external outlets, extra internal outlets, multiple ceiling fans throughout the house; including the wiring to the ceiling (not visible). Removed and replaced chandeliers, and installed multiple flood lights. Installed wiring to our external patio for future electric sun shades! Lastly, Ken upgraded our electrical panel and installed (2) electric car outlets in our garage! Ken can do it all! We trust and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ken and Anthem Electric! Thank you Ken!

I called Anthem Electric for an electrical issue in the master bedroom and bathroom. Ken responded promptly and set up an appointment. He was early to the appointment after calling to see if it was okay to show up early. He efficiently evaluated the problem while explaining what he was doing along the way. After solving the problem, Ken cleaned up everything and was very reasonable with the invoice. Additionally, I asked Ken about another project, and he explained how I could do it myself. Then he followed up the next day to make sure everything was still working correctly. Ken is friendly, knowledgeable, and fair. I definitely will us him again. He's great.

Long story short: Call Kenneth at Anthem Electric for your electrical needs!This is the same review I posted on another review site. Hint: it rhymes with Kelp...A couple of days ago, I contacted an electrician (I won't mention names but he received good reviews and why I called him) to come out and diagnose some issues I was having with my lights; flickering and some power loss. This electrician told me what was wrong and provided me with an outrageous price quote to fix it. Plus I had to be put on his schedule some 4-5 days in the future.The next day I contacted Anthem for a second opinion regarding these issues. Kenneth from Anthem returned my text quickly and came to my house the very same day. Kenneth gave the exact same diagnosis as the first electrician and instead of scheduling me out he took care of the problem right then and there. He also was happy to educate me what he was doing and provided me some diy fixes that a layman can do to save money. Furthermore, instead of the thousands of dollars the first electrician quoted, Kenneth charged me less than 10% of that. Talk about being honest in an industry (home construction/repair) that seems to be rife with shady make a buck characters.Moral of the story is: Get a second opinion or don't even bother, just call Kenneth at Anthem Electric!

I was all set up to have Anthem Electric rewire my entire house, when at the last minute, they bailed on me. I believe they bailed on me when I questioned them about their contract stating that the deposit would be 50% of the total price of the quote. The law states that the deposit must be 10% of the total price of the job or $1,000, whichever is less. They were asking me for a deposit of over $5,700. Ken also informed me that he has his son come and help from time to time, but his son is not covered under Anthem Electric's insurance which is also not ok. Ken and his wife seem like nice people, but what they're doing is definitely illegal. Consumers need to be aware of this and protect themselves accordingly.

Ken is AMAZING! We had an emergency where the power was acting erratic and breakers were tripping, and our tenant was afraid they were going to lose all the product in the freezers. We called a number of electricians and none of them were concerned about the urgency of the problem. I finally found Ken and even though he was done for the evening and in the middle of dinner, he came right over. I was especially happy to find that when he got here he was one of the most knowledgeable and professional electricians I have ever worked with. He was able to diagnose the problem, find the cause and then he took the time to explain it all to me and show me what was happening. It is a rare thing to find someone who cares this much about the client and wants to make sure they are safe and everything is taken care of. We were very lucky to have found him, he now has my business for life!
