One star is giving this company too much credit! I was forced to use this company by my home warranty company. First of all, i had a different company come out to do maintenance on my ac. They told me i needed a whole new unit so i filed a claim with my warranty company but that company wasn't contracted with them so they referred me to Fayette plumbing heating and air. They came out and said all we needed waa freon. (The other company had said the coil was broken and was leaking freon). They put more Freon in it and sure enough, a week later our unit wasn't working again. We had to file yet another claim with our warranty company who said this would fall back into the first claim since they didn't fix it. So they came out on 7/11 and said the coil needed to be replaced, that they would submit the report to our warranty company and would call us back. I kept waiting and waiting. Thought its summer, I'm sure they're busy... gave them a few more days. After a week, i called my warranty company who said they hadn't even received the report yet! So her called the company and they said they would be there on Wednesday (2 days later). Then on Tuesday they called my husband asking to confirm that we accepted the service charges. He did and then they said they would be there on friday. We argued that they already told us they would be there wednesday but they didnt have the parts ordered yet so it would have to be Friday but they would call us at 730. This was confirmed by 2 different people that they would definitely be there early Friday morning. (Keep in mind this is during a week that has been in the 90s with a heat index of 103 and i have 2 small children in the house, one of which is only 6 months old). So fast forward to today... Friday...july 21st...10 day's after they originally came out. 730 comes and goes without a call. I called them and no answer... So i left a message. They called back about 45 minutes later and said your appointment is on monday. Livid doesn't even begin to cover my anger at this point. I said no my husband and i both confirmed with 2 people (her being one of them) that it was today. So my husband calls them. They tell him that since its so hot today and they weren't able to get to is this morning that they just pushed our appointment to Monday. Nobody called us to tell us this, nobody called us to tell us they couldn't get to us today. They just said f*** it, we'll get to them on monday. I would rather pay $10k for 2 new units than have to deal with this company anymore. Theyre customer service is a joke. This company is a joke. Do yourself a favor... Save yourself a hassle and absolutely do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

We called two weeks ago to get a plumber out here to fix our jacuzzi tub about the faucet leaking. They told us it would be two weeks before they could get to us. We called today to see when they were coming because our issue has gotten worse. When the receptionist answered we were told we were still two weeks out. Who makes a customer wait a month before getting to them? I would not suggest using this company due to them not keeping to their word and just shows the lack of customer service they are willing to ensure. If they treat their customers like this then that should be a reliable assumption that the work they do isn’t top notch either.

My experience with Fayette Plumbing and HVAC during this heat wave was most rewarding. They came to my summons the very next day after my call. The two young men who quickly analyzed the problem were very courteous and professional. And when an issue arose with the air conditioner which would have been my responsibility to adjust but difficult for me to do because of my age, they pitched in with a good will to assist me. I am very grateful! It was 95 degrees which my AC went out, and I immediately thought, Now I am in for it. But because of the quick response and expertise of Fayette Plumbing, all is well. Actually, I have been using the services of Fayette Plumbing for many, many years and they have always met the highest standards of service and responsibility. Lexington is fortunate to have a company of such caliber.

Do not care for long time customers do not have time to take care of them and the decency to call and tell them that they would not come to take care of them after scheduling time. My family have been long time customer and will never do business with this company again. We moved and was told that they come to Richmond and as soon as I called they scheduled appt and I called day of appt to see if I was going to get call and was told they did not put me on schedule that they did not come to Richmond and that they could work 2 customer in to my one call so they did not want my business after years of service to them.

I've used this company for all my heating, plumbing and ac needs for over 10 years. Staff are always knowledgeable and professional. I trust them completely. Their charges are reasonable and fair. Can't say enough good about them.

great work and very professional and kind guys doing the work. I had two different jobs done by them at different days and it was different guys but they took the time to make sure it was all done up to code and cleaned up after the work. very pleased.

I had an issue with my upstairs unit a few months back. They came out, diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed it. They even changed out my filters and left two additional filters there for future use! The service was extremely professional and the unit is still running perfectly!

Chris gave me a call letting me know he was on his way, unclogged a sewer drain that was backing up into my garage and made sure it was draining correctly before he left.

Fayette Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has been to our house multiple times for the same issue. If we werent locked into using them for this problem (previous home owners are paying and use this company) I would absolutely go somewhere else. Not only is the issue not fixed but they have mediocre, and in some cases poor, customer service. The latest appointment I scheduled, I was told they couldnt set a time but would try to make it out. I then got a phone call from the plumber who was clearly unhappy that no one was at the house to let him in! Luckily my husband could rush over and open the door. Overall, very unhappy with this whole experience. The only reason this is a 2 star and not a one is that the gentleman who answers the phone is very pleasant.

William was excellent I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Avoid them if possible. They don't call you back and shun making solid appointments with you to get the a/c fixed. In the middle of summer when the a/c is busted, the last things you want to hear is I might be able to get out there in 2-3 weeks.

The crew did an exceptional job installing a tankless gas water heater! They explained everything in detail and was very knowledgeable about the product. They didn’t try to oversell and did a thorough job walk-through to make sure the product was right for us and our home. During the conversion and install the crew was very professional and extremely respectful of us and our home. I would recommend Fayette Plumbing, Heating & Air to anyone for any size job! Scott and Fayette Plumbing & HVAC have the highest level of integrity and dedication to customer care I have ever seen in any business. We had a thorny issue with our HVAC manufacturer due to a factory defect. Even though a different company had done the install and before we had even scheduled the work for a replacement part, Scott advocated long and hard for us, well beyond what the majority of others in the industry would have done. His hard work saved a large amount of money for our family. We are extremely grateful to him and his team. This is the only HVAC business we recommend to our friends.

There is not much to say about a company who does not follow through on a comittment. If your company doesn't need the business then maybe customers need to start servicing their HVAC systems with someone who cares and is more reliable. My experience speaks for itself. I make an appointment on a Tuesday morning at 8:00am with you promising to be at my home on Thursday between 12:30-3:30pm to service my AC that quit running on Memorial Day. As a responsible adult I ask off for work relying on the comitment made to me on Thursday, June 2, 2016. No one shows and and no calls the day you are to arrive. I call to confirm our appointment at 1:30pm. The service operator confirms and let's me know I am the last call but someone WILL BE AT MY HOME TODAY. The time gets to be 4:30pm. My appointment time was from 12:30-3:30pm. I call at 4:30 and speak to the same service operator that scheduled my appointment on Tuesday and then confirmed there would be someone at my home by 3:30pm. She said the HVAC techs were already done for the day. That the techs come in at 4:00pm and put the tickets down that they do not get to during the day and no one would be out to my home today. She said my ticket had a note that I had taken off work, but her techs were done and gone for the day. Her recommendation for those of us that work and have a schedule is to call a larger HVAC service company that offers weekend and night hours because they do not offer that they are more limited with less techs. Thanks for the advice. I now understand your wisdom and see that your mission statement is Our time is more valuable than yours. If you don't believe it we will soon show you.

Can you give negative stars? This is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in years. Never mind they don't make appointment times like the last review. They never call back to set a time! If my issue were not a home warranty claim I would have shot myself before using them. On the positive side, Ken Tyson Plumbing will be the contractor I call in the future!

Fayette Plumbing installed our dishwasher, water heater, and fixed a slow leak for us. They were professional and affordable. We will be sure to call them again if we ever need them!

These guys are great. They fixed a leaking toilet in my office and also installed an air purification system in my office to help keep our air free of viruses and bacteria. I highly recommend them.

The guys were great at communicating and completing the job efficiently. Would definitely use them again.

Great service. Within 45 minutes of my phone call there was a plumber named Chris at my door who was friendly and courteous. He fixed the leak under my sink and the water dripping on the other side of the wall from the outdoor faucet. He also fixed a problem with one of my commodes in no time that I hadn’t originally called about. I would definitely call Fayette Plumbing again if I had another problem and would confidently recommend them to my friends.

On our installation, they were extremely professional and courteous during the entire process and out of 4 quotes from 4 different companies, they were by far the best value. We had one follow up call approx 12 months after installation (clogged drain). We called around 5pm on a Friday and they were at our house by 6:30! Mikael is the best in the business! We wouldn’t think of calling anyone else!

Terrible. Brian came out to fix my heat and messed around for 5 minutes said it was working and left and I’m still without heat. Now neither him nor his company will return my call. It has been 48 hours without heat now at the property and there is a 6 month old infant living there and it doesn’t seem like anyone cares
