We have been charge more that 300 dollars, they went around the house for 5 minute!!!! and told they found the leek, we payed fix it and we just found out there is another leek that not was found the first time, we call them again and ask for a help as we just call few days ago and hope we can at least have some discount, but NO no discount, no help no nothing, just I need to pay another 300/400 !!!! Stay away from this company!!!

I called in on 12/13/19 and spoke with Keytura, who was extremely helpful, understanding and professional, she scheduled a tech to come out the SAME day to find the leak, I was so happy & overwhelmed with joy i started crying while on the phone with her. and literally with in an hour the tech named Josue came to the house!!! my husband said the tech was very friendly, knowledgeable & thorough as he was looking for the leak, He did detect it gave us alot of good information. SENIOR CITIZENS BE AWARE: Volusia County water monitored my water usage from Aug 2022 until Mar 2023 and called me about this water leak. Josh from the Leak Doctor came to my home on Tues-Mar 21, 2023. I paid $450.00 for a leak found fee and $2200.00 leak pipe repair plus a $30 tip that less than 24 hrs. Volusia County water leak verified not resolved. Josh returned on Fri-Mar 24, 2023-He secured the faucet. He did not address the damage he did to my rock top-graveled flowerbed when the sounds he heard was not a leak, but the grounding wire to the house. The pipe he “replaced” was intact. And, he did not admit any wrongdoing about the leak repair job he did. On Mon-Mar 27, 2023, due to mistrust in leak specialists, I and my neighbor found the expansive leak and my neighbor repaired it. Volusia County water verified the leak resolved. Josh/Leak Doctor left me with another expense of a hefty repair, replant and clean- up job. The Leak Doctor offers Advanced Technology but Josh is a poor technician and the quality of his work is inferior. I believe he was deceptive and dishonest with me. If ever I have a water leak problem again, I will not call the Leak Doctor.

Leak Doctor came in after another company couldn't find the leak. Was willing to listen to my opinion on where I thought it was coming from, unlike the other company. And found the leak. Enough said.

We paid $425 for the leak doctor to tell us that there was a leak in our shower drain. He stated that we would have to have our walk in shower pulled out and have a plumber come in and fix the leak. When the plumber pulled out the shower there was no leak. I immediately called the leak doctor to be informed that there was nothing they could do there is no guarantee. I will never use the leak doctor again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Requested service for a major leak at more than 2.5 gpm and within 1.5 hours the techs told me the leak was within 24 inches of the spot where they were digging. I asked them to continue digging because we could not see the actual leak and 4.5 hours later they assumed it was more than 10 ft away from that spot under a tree. At a cost of $425.00 they never actually found the leak. The tech admitted he simply wanted to leave after 1.5 hrs and it was beyond their expertise after speaking with the owner. Do not use them!

I am extremely impressed with the Leak Doctor for scheduling, courtesy, efficiency and knowledge. Their attitude at my first call calmed me down immediately. They scheduled me for the first visit next day. I expected the process to take about a week. It was resolved in one day!

Josh was very forthcoming with his knowledge and helped me to understand what was happening. He didn't hesitate to crawl under the house and identify my leak. Then he told me he could fix it right then! I had been told by others I would probably have to get a plumber scheduled meaning more time would pass. I was using more than 1000 gals of water a day! Josh kept me apprised of every move. He showed me the problem and resolution. I learned a lot from him that day and am very grateful. Should I ever have to use Leak Doctor again, Josh would be my go-to technician.

Carlos came out for some insurance work. He was patient while we worked out some issues with the contract prior to performing the work.
The inspection wasn't as thorough as we would have liked, but that was no fault of Carlos who was professional in the inspection he was instructed to do by insurance.

Steve Alonao has been great with all of the plumbing services. He detected & found all of the leak problems quickly and professionally. I will recommend Steve for all leak doctor Inc services.

Aside for the cost, the technician was good. I had already found where water was leaking from just couldn’t pin point it. Most of their work was already done. I paid $300 for them to pinpoint it. I would not refer them. Shop around first.

I had a Leak in my home and someone told me to call the Leak Doctor. They sent Marco Turner as my plumber, he was punctual, pleasant and very precise. He could determine the area where the Leak was and it was right behind the heater in my daughter's room. We had to remove the bed, lift the carpet etc., we did it fast and he was totally helpful. I find them very reasonable, they charge only one price and I was comfortable with that. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their service.

I am very impressed with David. It turned out the leak had to do with my air conditioner. Not the pipes or any plumbing issue. David changed filters and emptied out water that was accumulating in the air conditioning system itself. He checked the flow outside the house. Went above and beyond to help us out. Would recommend him to everyone.

They were able to schedule me in quickly and my service technician was extremely pleasant and professional. Their services are pricey considering it only took them 15 minutes. But they also found the leak within 15 minutes, so I suppose it was money well spent. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend their services to anyone suffering from a hidden leak.

Just had a leak diagnosis appointment with the Leak Doctors and they were GREAT! Marco and Carlos were wonderful. Very professional and did a very thorough job of detecting TWO leaks that I have in my bathrooms. The work was accomplished without having to tear into the walls. Thank God! Afterwards they explained and showed the leaks to me and the damage the leaks are causing. And cleaned up and left my bathrooms as they were. So many contractors leave a complete mess after they complete their work, but not The Leak Doctors. Thank you, Carlos and Marco!

Excellent service

We had Carlos Bermudez come out Saturday night and locate a slab leak for us. He spend a lot of time and used all kind of techniques to accurately find where the leak was. He dedicated a lot of time to find exactly where the leak was to verify to himself before he verified it to us. He was the absolute professional and was easy to trust once you saw his work ethic. I only wish I could have someone like Carlos for all my home repair, not just to locate a leak. He pleasant and likable and trustworthy. I can only hope if we have to use Leak Doctor again, they send Carlos. Leak Doctor also did a fine job getting someone out on a Saturday night for our water crises. Thank you.

Called this morning about 930. Brandon Thompson the technician came out ( earlier then expected ) he promptly found leak outside the home. It wasn't an easy repair as break was under palm tree. Brendon had to dig trench and rerouted piping. Thank you for prompt excellent service. We will pass the word to any of our neighbors if they have a problem.

Steven A came to our home very quickly after I called, found the leak and explained what he was doing along the way. He had very sophisticated equipment with which he located the exact location of the leak and explained what would need to be done to correct it. Steven was very professional and business like but at the same time was very understanding and made sure we knew what our options were and the Leak Doctor could handle the repair or we could use a plummer of our choice.
The great thing about our experience was how promptly they came to help us! He acted as though he felt our pain of having all the problems with a leak in our wall! It was determined that we had a leak at our commercial building, but a plumber was unable to find any leaks inside after inspecting all 10 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. Therefore, the leak had to be outside the building and most likely under our cement parking lot. I called The Leak Doctor first, but was a bit concerned about their hourly rate. After calling other companies, it appeared that I needed to go with The Leak Doctor after all. Josue came out within a day and assured me that he wouldn't waste any time since he knew how pricey the service would be. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency, as he methodically ruled out any potential causes for the leak. Ultimately, Josue used his sensitive equipment to find the leak several feet under the parking lot slab and put an X on the spot where he thought it would be. He said it was probably too deep for him to make the repair so he recommended another plumbing company, who came out the next day, used a backhoe to dig up the lot, found the leak inches from where Josue marked it, and repaired it. I coordinated with a concrete guy to fill in the hole that same afternoon. Thank you Josue for doing such a great job in finding the leak so quickly for us!

I heard a noise that sounded like water running under my kitchen sink.
I called Leak Doctor. Josue Valdez came out to track down the problem. He was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He found the leak, along the way explaining what he was looking for. Turns out the leak is in a cold water line behind the kitchen wall. We have decided to repipe our house our pipes are old, and they are cast iron and copper pipes. I would highly recommend this company to everybody.

they are no doctors, they are more afraid of the insurance not paying then finding the leak. 2 trucks, two guys could not find the leak, next day a manager came found a small crack on the side of the house. We fixed it, still a week later the block is wet. They would not even open the wall to figure out where the water was coming from. Called another company that found the leak after opening the walls and much more. These doctors are worthless.

Leak doctor rocks. The service tech came out and after 3 1/2 hours of searching he found the leak in the concrete foundation 3 ft from where I reported the water was coming into my home. Thus verifying it was best to re-plumb the house rather than tare up the tile and floor hoping the old pipes would not produce another leak.

The tech David did an excellent job. He broke everything down for my understanding. He was very honest. He is an asset to the company!!

Marco arrived promptly to my call for help finding a leak in our water service, .even though he had appprox.. 50 miles to drive to our house from Orlando to Homosassa, FL. He went right to work, and demonstrated his professional excellence and caring attitude toward solving our problem . He found the leak under 40 minutes, all while showing us, step by step, how he was accomplishing the job. Hi is an intelligent, personable, and hard working person. I would go back to Marco if I ever needed his expertise.

Very impressed with David from the Leak Doctor crew. He came out the first day and stayed for nearly 2 hours to really pinpoint the location of our foundation leak because we have tile and wanted to do minimal damage. His patience with me was beyond praise-worthy, because I am home alone with a 3-month old and he still managed to explain everything to me as well as my father-in-law who showed up just as David was leaving on the first day. He took the time to explain everything again to my father-in-law just to be sure we both understood the process (as I was distracted with the baby), then came out the following day early morning to fix our hot water! He broke through the tile, then the slab, had the leak repaired, water running, and the hole filled back in, in less than 4 hours, all while being friendly, explaining every move, and allowing me to watch through the process and “hover” as I would call it. He even ran into a issue with our piping and still finished in a timely manner. He helped us understand some of the home insurance process, as well, and let them know just how old our piping was. What amazing customer service and technical expertise by Marco T.! I had quite a bit of an emergency on my hands the night before with a ruptured pipe below ground outside of my house by the main water meter and after it was confirmed by the utility company they recommended The Leak Doctor, Inc. and so I placed the phone call. Then they sent Marco T. the superman to the rescue. When he arrived he was very friendly and professional and used his equipment to quickly diagnosis and identify the problem then asked if I would like it repaired on site and he did it very quickly and efficiently and with great precision and expertise. Highly recommend leak Doctor! If you have a leak and not sure where it's coming from, hire this company. I had my water meter detecting an abnormal water flow in Windermere. I contacted Leak Doctor and they came out on a holiday. The technician David D used a detection device to listen to every pipe in my home... No leak. He went to the yard and found the leak just a few feet from the water meter itself. I would recommend this company and David D any day!

Honestly the worst business model. Offices close at 4pm and calls roll to an answering service. So they are NOT 24hrs. Called 3 days in a row and and still no one to schedule an appointment. Tried to give them the business but apparently they dont need it.

Steven Alonso was absolutely amazing at finding my leak in my home. He was able to prevent extensive damage to my home in search of the leak. The plumber said they would have to use a jackhammer to find it and he was able to use a fancy device to prevent that from happening. This company ( The Leak Doctor) are a scam. Had my elderly parents pay up front $400. What company has you pay up front I'll tell you-- a dishonest one. After taking their NON REFUNDABLE so called fee they attempted to find the leak. After using their equipment and cutting holes in the walls they could find any leak. They sprayed water all over a window and said it was coming in around the window. They were wrong the leak was from a pipe in the wall that was found by another company.
Beware of any company that ask for this kind of large payment NON REFUNDABLE up front. By the way they left a mess, didn't clean up their mess. If they cant find any leak they shouldn't be charging such a high service fee.
So before you hand over your hard earned money and don't mind getting none of it back if they don't find anything, which is what you're paying them to do than this is the company for you. Think twice before you call them. I hope this review will help. There are plumbers out their that can find the leak and REPAIR IT , these guys don't repair.

Carlos was very helpful professional at all times. He took the time to explain the issue to both the tenant and myself. Located leak and repair were done quickly. Work area was kept clean and organized at all times . Carlos had another tech with him and he (sorry I do not remember his name )was also very helpful and professional at all times . The adjuster suggested Leak Doctor for our leak. They came out the very day we called! Steven was great. So courteous, understanding and professional. The leak was under the slab. Did not find a leak, just stated water was running with all faucets off.

They found the leak, waited two weeks to tell our insurance company-so we were fighting with both companies during that time. Then made me pay upfront even though insurance was supposed to cover it. Carlos- He’s a nice guy but obviously this entire situation was ridiculous, and asked for this review.

Had American out 4/6/18 & found leak and repaired problem. Also found out the technician from leak Doctor used my irrigation line and blow out my back flow value and now costed me additional 385.00 plus tax’s not including repairs from American for 895.00 plus the water bill will cost almost 1560.00 be careful of the Leak Doctor

My family is very grateful for Leak Doctor! Our parents had a leak that could not be detected in their two story house. We called on Friday and by that early afternoon they send out David Delgado, he was amazing!!! Within an hour, he isolated the leak within their large house. He confirmed several times the location of the leak and marked the spot for repair. He then went over numerous options at repairing a very hard to get to leak. My parents are elderly and his ability to discuss and address all issues were above and beyond - Thank you!!! All of my family would highly recommend Leak Doctor and their employee David Delgado !!!

Incredibly Expensive!
I had Leak Doctor come out to the house (near Downtown) to find a leak on the advice of a plumber who said he could only fine the leak by cutting a hole in the ceiling of the first floor of my house, under the second floor. When Leak Doctor came out, they said they could only find the leak by cutting a hole in that ceiling. Since they were going to charge me $450 to find the leak and were going to do just what the plumber would have to do, there was no advantage to using them. So I didn’t. They charged a trip fee, which is to be expected, but it was $150! I think that is exorbitant for a trip fee. No other business I have dealt with has charged over $85 at most.

David was the best! Thorough, polite, friendly, kind, checks every angle of possible leak. Totally recommend David at Leakdoctor.

These guys are great! With every single water source shut off in the house, our water meter ran and ran, and our bill was more than double the last 2 months. There were no water sounds at all from any of our water sources, and it made no sense. We were terrified that we had a leak under the slab, but since we could not find any source of leaking, we had to call a professional.

We called Ranaldi Plumbing first, who told us on the phone that it would be a $39 trip charge to detect the leak, and when they found the leak, the trip charge would be deducted from the cost of repair.

The plumber gets here, and suddenly, I'm told that he'd do a 'visual inspection' for the leak for an additional $211, before even stepping foot in our house. If he didn't find it, it would be an additional $500 to schedule their leak detection specialist. I was told on the phone that they would FIND the leak for $39, which clearly was not true. I paid the $39 (note that this guy never put a foot inside my house to look for a leak).

I found Leak Doctor on google, and the best thing about them was their promise that their rate was $325. Period. No surprises, no extra cost. If they don't find your leak, or if that's not the only leak, they will come back again.

Steve and Anthony came out, spent about 1/2 an hour listening at all our water supplies, but not finding the source of the leak, while the meter still spun. They then pulled out a gas compressor, injected gas into the lines.... and found the problem. Our Reverse Osmosis under the kitchen sink was continually drawing water. When they shut that off, then checked the meter again, the spinning stopped. It was WELL worth the piece of mind to do this! I would 100% recommend these guys, and would absolutely use them again!

After a $2200 bill from OUC, I was hysterical. OUC's website directed me to Leak Doctor. In 30 years of home ownership, I never needed a leak detector. Im a single woman. Jennifer (at Leak Doctor) was so calming and easy to talk to. The tech she sent out was Carlos. He was so patient with me! I had to have everything explained, and he did explain in simple terms. He found the leak almost 3 feet underground, and then did the repair. Re-piped it beautifully. And did I mention how nice he was?

Bottom line. If you've got a leak, don't sweat and dig,dig,dig. Call these guys.

WORST COMPANY EVER- completely unethical service and poor workmanship. This company lies to their customers at the site and quotes one price, then AFTER the work is done, they hit you with another price much higher and tell you, oh, don't worry, the only $ your paying today is XXX, your insurance company will pay the rest which isn't disclosed in the initial conversation. Workmanship is awful, customer service is a joke, they only have 2 girls answering phones and no complaints can go any further than them , they laugh at disgruntled customers. Just awful. I work in a business where I could have sent DOZENS of people and companies to use them for services, but I'm glad I had this experience...will NEVER refer them.

I would never use this company ever again! They came out to my father's house when he thought there was a leak inside the home. It turns out only the water faucet on outside was dripping from a two way splitter. After about 10-15 minutes MAX of actually work with me helping to remove the old splitter the issue was solved but nothing was actually fixed/repaired.

When I heard someone ask my Dad for payment of $350 I was shocked and ashamed that it felt like my older father was being completely taken advantage of. I called customer service and asked if they could charge something reasonable for the job done as in maybe $150 which still seemed high and more than fair the rep then put me on hold without asking for about 5 minutes and came back and said the tech had already been there 1.5 hours. I just said ok ok. I have run businesses before and I'm a realtor you won't work on my home or my families or friends homes again.

We had a leak in our bathroom which damaged the floors in the bedroom so we called the leak doctor and they sent out a technician named Josh. Josh was very helpful and was quick to inform us that they have another technician that’s better suited for this job. Without charging us for his visit Josh sent out Carlos with the special tools to diagnose where the leak was. They were both very nice and helpful I would definitely recommend them in the future. Carlos and Marco with Leak Doctor were amazing. Both were super professional and took the time and patience to explain everything they were doing. They discovered that, although my septic system was supposedly drained last year, it was full again. I was in contact with several other companies before them and it was like pulling teeth to get any help. If you're looking for a professional company that truly cares about helping then look no further then The Leak Doctor.

My water meter was spinning non-stop and I wasn't sure why, so my neighbor who's a plumber referred me to the Leak Doctor. They were able to send someone out the next day, and Carlos did a great job finding and fixing the leak. My only complaint was that when I first called, the person who answered said I would receive a call back in about 30 minutes and I didn't hear back until the next morning, but that's not a huge deal since it was still faster than most companies.

He took his time to make sure the leak was correctly diagnosed, and he repaired what he was licensed to repair. He checked all the plumbing in the house to make sure there were no more hidden leaks. . He explained thoroughly everything that he was doing and what my next steps should be toward getting repairs done. Josue made sure I understood what I would be charged before he did any work and kept me informed of changes. Pricing wise it is not cheap; but probably in line with what these types of plumbing repairs cost. (Another plumbing company I called came to my house last week and declared that they saw no problems and then promised to send out another person to investigate further. That never happened.) The company was hired to locate where water was entering my building during heavy rains and flooding. They identified a small leak in the caulking around a window, but overlooked the main source (later identified by another company) where water was entering through a slab leak. For the money, I am disappointed that they overlooked such a major issue.

They did a fantastic job for me finding a leak accurately under the slab of my living room they were very fast and they really really helped a lot. Once they found the leak they opened it up and did the repair and also repaired the slab. Amazingly all they needed to cut in the slab was about a square foot because their analysis as to where the leak was was so accurate

David Delgado was an expert and gave step by step process for finding my new homes leak. He literally double and triple checked to make sure he found the source of our problem. He left with me feeling confident in the future with my new home. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to do extensive damages while trying to find a problem to call and make an appointment with Leak Doctor. The fee at $325 seems steep but if you truly care about your home you need to have that security of knowing you found and resolved your issue.

Outstanding work! Josh and Anthony came to the house because we found a tile that was warmer than the others. I suspected a slab leak. I called and they were scheduled to come in a fast time-frame.

Josh called when they were on their way and they were on-time in the time frame I was told. Both of the men were professional, friendly and good at what they do. Woke up to a wet area on my ceiling. Because my plumbing runs through the attic I was sure it was a pipe issue. After calling a few leak detection services, I decided on the Leak Doctor. Not only were their services more affordable than their competitors, being certified plumbers, they are also capable of also repairing any plumbing issues, sometimes during the same visit, saving time and money by eliminating an additional service call to a plumber. The other competitors I called were unable to do this and would only offer a referral, no repair work. Steven came out promptly the next morning and inspected the whole house and attic. He was very courteous and professional and went above and beyond. Once he determined it wasn't a plumbing issue, he didn't give up until he pinpointed the problem - much to my surprise it was a minor roof leak and not a plumbing issue at all. Well, they only detect leaks; NO LICENSE to repair. Not available until a day later, and was told that they do not detect polybutylene pipe leaks with their equipment. Went with someone with better availability and able to repair the leak after it was found!

Came out on time. Found our leak. Sent us the detailed report. Only took off 1 star as the price was too high for the amount of work required to diagnose but not fix the issue. Otherwise it was a good Experience.

I've had an intermittent leak and David investigated the leak and found what other companies has missed, primarily roofing companies from my HOA and plumbing companies. This is my first time using The Leak Doctor and I must say they are fantastic! We have had a leak for a little while in our office but it could not be found. Great service from Anthony and the Leak Doctor. I had a leak a few months ago and contacted one of those big plumbing companies. While they fixed the visible leak, they didn't diagnose to ensure all the leaks were gone. Anthony arrived on time and thoroughly went through to detect any additional leaks in my system. Leak doctor sent out Carlos Bermudez to my house. I was extremely impressed. Had water leaking for a month, didn't know it till the pipe opened up and we had no pressure. Called leak doctor, got a phone call in less than 10 min, guy at our house in 30 min, found the broken plastic pipe in about an hour, broke open the floor within 24 of the leak, replaced the broken part, filled the hole, cemented the floor closed, and tested & cleaned each individual faucet and shower to ensure they all worked with correct pressure. All in less than a day. A+ doesn't even do him Justice, David was awesome and did a difficult job with a smile all day!

I’m giving 5 stars to Carlos. I scheduled an appointment with the company well in advance to accommodate my schedule, that didn’t happen. Nevertheless, Carlos was dispatched, showed up with a wonderful attitude and personality. I explained my situation and he went to work immediately taking his time to find the leak. The leak was easily accessible and Carlos was able to repair it for me without having to call a plumber. He is a licensed plumber and saved me time from having to make another call.

David's thorough questioning of the circumstances allowed him to quickly identify the area of the problem, and the equipment was able to confirm exactly where the leak was. Josue was very professional and found 2 leaks in my system. He located the major leak in the toilet valve, but the meter still showed a minute flow. He did not give up until finding a small leak behind the wall at the sink, that had gone unnoticed for awhile. He then recommended how to dry out the area while minimizing damage to the wall. He prevented a small problem from becoming a large one in the future.

We had some concerning wetness in our bathroom area after showering and thought it could be a leak behind the wall - Josh from Leak Doctor came was incredibly thorough and professional. He figured out what our issue was and I am grateful to him! He seems to really love his job and is definitely knowledgeable. He gave us a bunch of great tips for overall prevention of water issues. As a realtor I’ve seen many leak issues. Representing the buyer, all we could do was expect the seller to repair. It was a condo so that complicated things. The seller and the HOA called 2 plumbing companies each one diagnosed a slab leak requiring replumbing. That was very expensive. But then the HOA on-site handyman found the cause of the leak in the wall behind the washing machine and repaired it, leaving the wall open. They wanted us to do the walkthrough , approve and close. You can imagine we weren’t confident. We recommended The Leak Doctor. They scheduled and their tech came out a few days later and found another leak! But no slab leak! And instead of spending 3000 plus, the cost of the repair was less than 500 including repairing and painting the drywall.

The lesson here is when you have a leak DON’T call a plumbing contractor first. Call The Leak Doctor.
Then after the diagnosis hire a plumbing contractor if necessary to do the work.

Was told on the phone I was paying 425 dollars for advanced equipment that could find any leak. I was told there was no leak, yet for several months have been having continued extensive water damage (renters occupy), and was told by the renters no equipment was ever used at this visit. When I called to speak with a manager I got the receptionist who told me she was the manager and I could pay them again if there was still a problem. I will never recommend or use this company again. Huge waste of money.
