My toilet in the master bath was backing up into the tub/shower. There was quite a bit of gurgling coming from shower drain with every flush. John gave me a call 20 mins prior to arrival. He and his helper began work promptly; hoofing the heavy equipment up to the roof. The stoppage was cleared within 10 mins, and the bill was easy on my wallet.

I called John based on the reviews on Google, and he did not disappoint. The pipe that feeds one of the toilets had broken; therefore, I had to turn off the main water. He agreed to come that same day, free estimate and great pricing. Like he said he took care of us.
John is extremely friendly and gave me the best service I’ve received from a plumber. FYI my ex father-in-law is a plumber, and I got better service from JJM Plumbing.

John was great . Very professional and clean .He even had great ideas for the kitchen and bath remodel lay out for the vanities and the sinks.....pricing was very fair also.

I have been using John for several years. He is the only one I will use for our plumbing repairs. He is so honest and his repairs are very reasonable. He has never suggested repairs that were not necessary. He has suggested improvements that have been wonderful. He really goes out of his way to be responsive. I highly recommend him to everyone.

JJM plumbing was absolutely amazing! John arrived exactly when he said he would and immediately diagnosed what our problem was with our water pipe leak. We had contacted 3 big name plumbing companies previously and they were all twice as expensive and were at our house for hours and they couldn’t even fix the issue. My water heater has been slowly leaking for the past few weeks. On Monday, August 24 it looked like it was about to fail. I looked on Angie’s list and Home Advisor and found six potential water heater installers. I called them all Monday afternoon. JJM plumbing had the best price and they could bring a new one out and install it the next day. John came out Tuesday afternoon. He was on time, very professional and had the water heater installed within about 90 minutes. He took the other one away and cleaned up and gave me a great price. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs

John was the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. He communicated exactly when he was coming, called in advance to confirm, and showed up as promised. Once he got there he took care of our issue quickly, cleanly and professionally. He even did a little extra because he didn't like the way one of our traps looked. When we offered to pay for the extra work, he declined saying it wasn't much extra work with what he was already doing. We are very impressed and will definitely use him for all our future plumbing needs.

Best plumber in Tampa!

John is absolutely great. If there was a higher rating I would absolutely give JJM that rating. I have now gone to JJM twice and finally getting around to writing this review. First time was for a water heater replacement along with a circulating pump getting installed for the water heater. I tried multiple plumbers in the area but most wanted an arm and a leg for pricing or they just could not do the install because of scheduling a time. When I googled plumbers in my area, JJM was the only 5 star so I called. He did not answer the first time because he was in a job but literally within 15 minutes or so, he called back and I talked with him on pricing and when he could do the job. Everything came in at a fair price and the quality of product is definitely top notch. He was in an out within an hour of him coming out to the house that same day our water heater went out.

The second time I did not necessarily use him for services but because he is a third generation plumber and his family are plumbers, John was still able to help walk me through a very stressful moment from a leak.

This recent time, I had a pin hole leak that I did not know at the time was a problem in our copper line. I had water damage from a leak within the wall. I text John directly after hours. He let me know he was out of town but he referred me to a company for dry out and to determine source of leak. He then also got me in touch with a family member of his and the leak was stopped next day and that pipe replaced.

This is a plumber who is fair, up front and tells you how it is. I would greatly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs because he is not going to sway you wrong and if he can't do it, (only because of scheduling or availability) his family will definitely take care of you as well. JJM is great to use and word of mouth and referrals is how they are known. That rating you see is absolutely true!

We initially hired John to do some maintenance on our water heater. The same morning he was scheduled, we found a major leak in our main water line and he came sooner to fix it. He found the source and repaired the leak, giving us peace of mind along the way. Super professional and cares about his customers - we will be using JJM Plumbing for all future needs. Excellent Plumbing service! I was referred to John @ JJM for a clogged drain system issue. Of course, it was on a day I had a big number of people in town and saying at my house for the weekend. Suddenly, my toilets would not work and John found that is was a baby wipe was the cause. When I called John he was tied up on another job but came to fix my issue immediately after he finished that job. In a couple hours, I was back up and running again. John was very prompt and clean. He replaced my kitchen sink for a very fair price. He also took time to flush and tune my water heater. I will definitely be using JJM plumbing for my future plumbing needs.

We had a water filter installed by another plumber and it was reducing out water pressure to the point where we couldn't use it. He was the third plumber to look at it and now we have a perfectly running water filter for a very reasonable price.

Called to replace my kitchen faucet, and they did such a good job I called them back to do other plumbing projects I hadn't been able to do for some time. They showed up early, were clean, professional, and very helpful with what we needed. Will call them again for future projects when they arise.

let me tell you somthing, you won’t get more humble attentive and respectful customer service then dealing with John and his company. had an emergency where my drainage was failing and bathtub toiling etc was backing up he came in fixed the problem in the most clean cut way and affordably. call him for any plum needs.

UPDATE: a few minutes after posting this review, I got a text from John. He'd suffered a family tragedy and apologized for not getting back to me sooner. So in reading this review, you may want to cut him some slack. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I paid John top dollar to install two toilets at a rental property I own. He was recommended by a neighbor from down the street. When he did the job I told him I'd pay him the next day after I had a chance to check on the job. But he insisted on being paid right away, seeing as he'd sent me a picture of the installed toilets. He said that if there were any problems he'd come back and fix them. So I paid him over the phone. Then when I did get over there to check it out, there did turn out to be a problem. (Because of how it was positioned, the flush mechanism on one of the two toilets he had installed was getting hung up inside the tank; it only flushed right about one time in three). When I called him to get him back there, he said that I would have to get a replacement part first. Weeks later, when the replacement part had come in, though I left him repeated messages he didn't call back. I went by the house this morning and fixed it myself, it was no big thing (and there was no need for the replacement part). It all worked out for me in the end and I'm happy with how the toilets work now, but I think it's a problem that he doesn't stand behind his work.

John came out right away to repair my Hot Water Heater and knew exactly what was going on and how to fix it. The repair went seamlessly and the rate was very affordable. I will definitely be using this company going forward for all plumbing related projects.

My first experience with John was when we had a bathroom remodel go horribly wrong and he had to correct the tub set and all of the plumbing errors. He was a total all-star and now my whole family uses him.
He's meticulous and trustworthy and his fees are very fair.
He's excellent at explaining things and helping to save money, but not at the cost of quality. We are so lucky to have found him!
