Called them with a recent leak in my water line. They were very responsive and friendly to deal with, especially Karen and Sheila who got someone right out there. The price seemed fair and the work was done quickly by a friendly technician. Would recommend.

What a wonderful company! Not my first time using them and they have always been dependable! This time I had a leak behind my washer right before Christmas!! Not only was my leak fixed in a timely manner but he showed up in a Santa hat which brought a much needed smile to my face that day!!

Not excited about them at all. Contacted the office 4x to receive an itemized receipt of services. I had a marching toilet taken out and a generic one placed in. The office staff refused a general manage or a service person to speak with me directly. My advice find a local family owned plumber for your plumbing needs. The quote over the phone was $140-$200 and the actual charge was $500. On the phone I call it was clearly stated I did not want the charges to go over and all work was to be approved. The toilet from home dept was out in and the service person presented me with the $500 bill I was shocked.

We had a great experience with Herrell. We had another plumbing company give a $400 quote for something Herrell fixed for just over $100. They are knowledgeable and reliable.

I had a technician, Robert, come today to repair my ancient ( 1941) pink toilet. Believe it, the toilet is like new. Thank you for the excellent service.

They came out to hook up a natural gas grill that I bought. Service was great, no frills and exactly what I asked for. Highly recommend.

I had water pouring out of the exterior wall on the opposite of my kitchen sink. Herrell plumbing came and, within 10 minutes and without running any water, the dishwasher or the garbage disposal, told me that the copper “waste arm” had cracked and was leaking. They said they could fix it for $750, but I would also have to hire someone to remove and replace the wood paneling on the exterior wall, through which they would need access. I called my handyman to see if he was willing and able to do the job. He thought it was weird that they had diagnosed the problem without running any water, so he decided to pull the dishwasher and found a giant puddle under it. He pulled apart the soaked wall board, ran everything in the kitchen and could not find a leak. Finally, he decided to run the dishwasher - from which water immediately sprayed. Herrell’s plumbers got out-plumbered by a handyman, because they were too busy looking for the most expensive ticket they could write to find the source of the problem. Shame on Herrell Plumbing.

We called at 9 am to have a toilet fixed. The supervisor called back by 930 to advise us our service window was between 10 am and 12 pm.

Our plumber arrived and resolved our issue by 1030 am.

I know sometimes it's luck of the draw, but the fact that the receptionist was courteous, was able to give us an estimate ($150-$250) and the supervisor called us back in 30 minutes made all the difference. We never even got a call back from Westbrook.

I'll be calling Herrell for all of our future plumbing needs.

wow charge $275 just to come out. Was here under 2 hours and charge another $60 for labor. Then didn't put the shut off valves on my tub like I asked, and didnt patch the hole in my wall (i know they cant finish the dry wall but put a piece back on). Had more work but I will not use them. Get a quote first!!!

Had a new water heater installed yesterday. Very grateful for the continued great service, and our favorite technician.
Fantastic service. New toilet installation/replacement was smooth, fast, and reasonably priced. I'll gladly use Herrell Plumbing again.

Contrary to a previous review...when I saw Tom get out of the truck I was so relieved. I’d forgotten his name but I remembered that he was the Herrell guy who’d been out before and was very honest and professional. He zeroed in on the problem and went right to work to remedy it. He did the job and I was so very thankful. Tom saved the day AGAIN ‼️

I just moved into a new place and had new faucets installed along with new water shut off vales. The technician that came to my place was very knowledge and good at his trade. He got everything done and even helped out with removing an old reverse osmosis system. Would definitely recommend. They are a bit pricey, but you know the job is done professionally and right the first time. Would recommend.

There are plumbers and then there is Harrell Plumbing. These guys are the real deal. Bill was fantastic and so quick. The work was done perfectly and they cleaned as they worked. The reason I am writing a review however, is to thank them for the FOLLOW THROUGH. Every call answered, every promised kept. Thank you Harrell!!!!

We got our kitchen faucet replaced. Will did a great job. The only reason I would not use them again is because they are on the expensive end. To remove our old faucet and replace it with the new one it was $275 just for labor. The job took under 45 minutes. I think this was excessive. I was expecting to pay under $200.

I had John and a couple of technicians switch my indoor gas tank water heater to a gas tankless outdoor water heater. All three of them were very friendly, professional, and did a great job with the installation and clean up. Overall the process to get a quote and schedule was quick and easy and the price was fair. I would use Herrell again in the future.

About 3 years ago Herrell Plumbing repiped our old house so we could put it on the market and sell it. Three years later, I needed some hose bibs replaced on my current house. I remembered how professional and quickly they did the repipe of the old house that I had no hesitation calling them today to do more work for me. I would definitely recommend this company.

My family (3 different homes) has used Herrell Plumbing over many years. I used Westbrook but they stopped doing residential. Recently, I used Herrell for three different services. I was so happy with each service person. I have a bathroom reno and will use them again. P.S. Eddy R taught me a lot and how to prevent problems.

Harrell Plumbing was the ONLY plumber that was available and that had actually returned my call. The plumber that actually came out Sebastian was very nice, didn't mind questions and had a very professional attitude. He was onsite within an hour and had me up and running within an hour. All the other plumbers I called said that I should wait till tomorrow morning when it was cheaper (The call was on a Sunday) - but I couldn't because I have dogs and I am not going to not have running water. Needless to say, I will not go with a plumber that says that. But that wasn't the case with Harrell, they were johnny on the spot and delivered. Even explained what and why my issue happened and created a resolution that would keep me from having that problem again. KUDOS to Sebastian at Herrall Plumbing. Will definitely use again!

The best plumbers in town. Hands down!

I had some unknown company shoot their cable lines right through my sewer line which caused me problems 6 months after the event. Harrell Plumbing came, found the problem and helped me logically determine which utility service did the damage. The Harrell Plumbing crew was FABULOUS! They were timely, knowledgeable, easy to ask questions & talk to , polite & hard working. I have been using Harrell Plumbing for years & will remain a dedicated client.

WORST EVER...Plumber Tom came out, said he had been a plumber for 30 years yet he broke my sewer pipe with his shovel ON PURPOSE and then told me my lines were collapsed and it would be $3,800 to replace my outside sewer lines, then did NO clean up at all, just left dirt everywhere and a dangerous deep hole by my front door and charged me over $200!!. Needless to say I called another plumbers and i only ACTUALLY had roots by the sidewalk end of my pipe and they replaced that portion and they had to fix the hole Tom did on the other end of the pipe by my front door, and they put in a clean out all for $520. Herrell is a rip off!!

I have called Herrell twice now. Both times they’ve done a great job for a reasonable price.
They’ll always be my first call for any plumbing issues.

Had a water heater leak yesterday on a 20 year old unit that needed to be replaced: Contacted Harrell at 9 am the next morning and had a plumber out stocked with a brand new 40 gallon water heater within an hour and a half of calling. Less than 2 hours of work and I have a brand new working water heater for $650 less than 2 competitor’s quotes. Heath was my plumber. He was kind, efficient and was in and out like nothing happened. 10/10 experience.

After calling about 15 places I finally picked Herrell because they were the only company that would give me the possible price ranges I would be looking at over the phone for various work. They are upfront and honest. I had a 30 year old water heater that finally kicked the bucket and I was dead set on only having it repaired. After talking with the tech (Sebastion) he pointed out all the visible damage mine had and told me if I was to repair it, it would absolutely break again and probably sooner than later and I would be wasting money, so I finally agreed to go with the new one. That proved to be a very good decision because the inside was cracked about about to fall apart in addition to whatever was already wrong with it, I never would have known. I'm happy they were able to make me feel comfortable spending the neccessary money to make the best choice.

I dont normally write reviews but this job experience was worthwhile. Bill, Josh and Clay did a fantastic job installing a bathtub at less than 1/4th the price of another large plumbing company. The entire team at HP is very professional. I plan to use them for all my plumbing work. Rehired them for my kitchen, Eric did a wonderful job and charged less than half what they had originally estimated. Who does that? !

Everyone was so helpful and nice. They did a full re-plumb on our home and even at a reasonable price!

We have been customers of Herrell for many years. Service is great always and prompt. This job was a huge one....trenching and replacing the 50' sewer line from the house to the street. Our crew was very professional and kept us advised of progress. They did a nice job of saving sod and cleaning up all the dirt and mud. No more sewer problems. Kudos, Herrell.

Was installing shelves for client and hit a water pipe with a screw at about 6pm. Left a message for emergency service. Tech John W called me within 5 minutes and was very understanding of my situation. Had my clients pipe fixed and worked very clean. We were back up and running by 7:30pm. Highly recommend as this was my 3rd call to find the right plumber. Frank Gay and Rinaldi were my first 2 calls. Herrel Plumbing has earned a lifelong customer. Just tried calling twice. The automated phone has options for Staff Directory, Emergencies, Commercial, HR, Permitting, etc. but has no option for residential and hangs up on you if you push 0 and would like to speak to someone. I was calling for a residential full repipe.

The technician was knowledgeable and courteous. He fix my drain quickly and my sink nows drains better than when it was brand new.

My house built in 50’s and difficult layout due to additions but obviously, NO JOB IS TOO BIG for HERRELL PLUMBING. I suspected something amiss when the hot water was not available when needed even with the timer on. I called The Leak Doctor and a slab leak was found leading from the hot water heater.

I then called HERRELL and an estimate walk-thru by Bobby and Red was scheduled quickly, and WORK STARTED ON TIME and FINISHED IN TWO DAYS. BIG PLUS FOR ME.

I’ve never met a nicer, polite and professional crew than Bobby, Red, Sebastian, Pete, JJ and Ruffian. Communication was phenomenal among them and if ran into problem, Red or Bobby was just a phone call away and then at the house. The office personnel exceptional as well.

Herrell has done work at my house in past and will ALWAYS be my go-to plumbers and would recommend them if you want a JOB WELL DONE....the FIRST TIME!

In March 2022, we hired Herrell Plumbing to install a new water heater and replace all the polybuthlene pipes with PVC in our new home. Previously, we had endured a two-week-long intrusive, messy, and stressful replumb job from another company at the place we rented, so we were really bracing ourselves for this experience.

But Herrell's was great—very professional, friendly, and communicative. The entire job was finished in two days, and the work was well done. We're very happy with Herrell's and have even recommended them to our realtor so he can tell other prospective homebuyers about them.

P.S. Our handyman had recommended Herrell's to us because he had them do plumbing work on his own home. So consider this two positive reviews in one!

I have been in construction most of my life. I was pleasantly surprised from my first call how everything went so smoothly with Herrell Plumbing. They were able to come the next morning after I called late, the day before to switch out my water heater that was leaking.
Their techs were extremely experienced and the quality of work was some of the best I have seen in years. I have worked with tons of plumbers at many projects. Many of them usually do sloppy work and want to rush the job. The Lead Tech Bill B. and Tim Craig were definitely some of the best i have experienced in many aspects. They knew exactly what to do, went above and beyond and even swept out the garage. Trust me that rarely if ever happens! Call Herrell and ask for Bill B or Tim R if you want to have a stress free experience!

Reasonable price, courteous, knowledgeable, timely repair, neat and clean during and after the repair. Tim was the best!

If you have plumbing issues Herrell Plumbing is the place to call! I live in an older house and have had several plumbing problems over the last couple of years. This company is friendly, prompt, and more than fair in their pricing. Technicians Will and Tim are the very best, and thanks to Sheila for scheduling and keeping the customer posted!

Herrell Plumbing did a great job today! We had a clog in one of our lines going out to the main drain. I called on Wednesday and they arrived right on time on Thursday to fix the issue. He was professional and talked me through the process while he used the camera to show me the health of my pipes. He was here less than an hour and found the problem, cleared everything out and then fixed the hardened build up in one portion of our pipe that would of allowed paper to stick and eventually have future issues! The overall cost was $430. He fixed the issue and did not try to sell me a $2,500 pipe cleaning like the other company that we used just a few days ago! This company is honest!

Heath came out and fixed our leak within a couple of hours of my call! He was professional and friendly. I would recommend this company!

Red is easy to talk with very professional the crew came in exactly when they said they would and kept a positive attitude finishing that day. Second day a new crew to mud and plaster they where very clean no dust wow would love to take pictures but wouldn't do them justice. Thank you job well done

I am very disappointed with Herelle Plumbing, we got them to install a brand new 80 gallon A.O smit Hybrid water heater last year this day, the installation itself i did not have any issues, they were good enough, but the water heater started displaying a warning and when I called them back they now sauing they don't service Hybrid water heaters, if you don't service them please don't install and put a sticker on the water heater saying call us for any service, not only putting a sticker the tech told me to call them if any issues, it is false..now I need to go thru an other company pay ridiculous service charge just to come over and diagnose.. Also AO smiths warranty does not cover Labor, and labor is the major part of it.

Eric did a fine very professional job installing a copper faucet on the back side of my home. It was a delicate job and he knew just how to handle it. I will definitely call Herrell again!

I called to see about a potential drain backup. The plumber was great, quick, did a good job, and the price was lower than most. However, he pulled out the snake and camera thing and started using it before even asking, incurring a charge that I never even gave permission for. It drives me nuts when people do this. This would be a 5-star review if they had simply asked first.

Update since I can't reply: The man said he was giving me a discount on the snake and camera - hard to do that if he never charged me for it. Changing to 1 star because the business replied and doubled down.
