My home warranty company sent Dam Good Plumbing to my rental property to look at a leak from the garbage disposal and a leaking pipe. Spoke to owner Jacki and she said her technician would come. He came and looked at the issues. Plumber needed to submit needed repairs to the warranty company for approval. I paid the service fee.
Next day Jacki texted me to say repair was approved and they would contact tenant to go that day to make repairs.
Dam Good Plumbing never called or made appointment to fix repairs.
Repeated calls and texts to Jackie went unanswered. I contacted warranty company and they can't get get a response either! I don't get it. She seemed so nice and helpful at first....Now I need to find another company, hopefully someone with integrity and good customer service.
STAY AWAY FROM DAM GOOD PLUMMING! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY..

We were assigned this company through our Home Warranty Insurance for a simple matter of a clogged drain. I was assigned a time window of 11-3, which is not a problem. I understand that is the way of the world. Received a call at 1:15 stating the tech was on the way and should be at my home in an hour. All good. 2:45 rolls along and I did not receive an update regarding a time. I finally had to call the company, leave a message, before I got a response at 3:15 stating the tech was on his way. When he arrived, he blamed Google maps and asked if people had difficulty finding the house because it was not showing up. I have lived here for almost 9 year, I have given this address to delivery drives, Ubers, etc, and not one of them had any issues locating my address. When the tech arrived, sans face mask, he went downstairs to the problem area. Long story short, he did not come prepared with the tools to do the job, told me he would be back the following day at 10 (I am writing this review at 11:45) to finish the job. To make matters even worse....he did not seal the main plug he opened so when I took a shower, water spilled all over my basement. So basically, I had to finish the incomplete job he did sealing my valve. Also to add insult to injury...he made the flooding issue worse. I am an advocate for small family owned businesses, but I will never use or recommend this company. I don't know if it was an attitude of Ohhh...it's just warranty work and we are not getting a full fee or if it is something more. I have called the warranty company with my review as well and made clear they are never to send this company to my house for any follow up work and send a different service provider.

Choice Home Warranty assigned Dam Good Plumbing for clogged drain, faucet replacement in my home. Technician did unclog drain, new faucet approved 11/04 by CHW. Called and texted Vickie with Dam Good Plumbing several times on availability to replace faucet. She has intentionally ignored me and not responding. Called CHW again, they have reached out, no response from Vickie. This is not a company I would recommend and I am very, very disappointed how they treat their customers. Shame on you!

I only have positive comments about the professionalism and skill that Scott with Dam Good Plumbing had in resolving the request that we had related to needing the CSST bonded (grounded). The owner/administrator, Jaclyn Jacki McKay was always so friendly and helpful with scheduling and she did a very prompt follow-up to assure that we had the documentation we required to show completion of work.

This company came to service a water heater through my warranty company. They charged me $40 more than the contracted service call fee, the guy entered my home with a lit cigarette. And he was clearly going through my basement asking about items I had and if I wanted to sell them When I messaged a day later with some issues, i never received a response. My warranty company has stated they never submitted for approval.
And now 2 years later I had to replace the hot water heater because this guy installed the other wrong and did not install all the parts. Parts melted. Do not hire this guy.

They care about actually diagnosing and fixing the problem!! Scott from Dam Good plumbing had to come out a few times to figure out what was wrong and get it completely fixed - but he did stick with it and actually fix the problem. (Oh, and he didn't charge us $300 every time he set foot on our property like High 5 plumbing did).

Don’t expect for them to keep their word on anything pertaining to timing. They’re always late, leave mid way through their job. It just feels like they do not care about their job
