We needed some landscape drainage pipe cleared and rerouted due to a clog. Alfredo came out to assess the situation and immediately had a solution to the problem. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and how the problem came about. He really took a personal approach with the entire conversation. No surprises on the estimate and delivered as promised. Great team and will definitely use them on future projects!

These guys are the real deal when it comes to timely, professional, and CLEAN work. I had a huge sewer line repair done by them, that required cutting up the street. Not only did they give me a good honest quote that beat out competition, they did it in a much more timely manner than expected, with little to no damage done to my yard. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE needing excavating.

Unmatched!! Can’t say enough great things about Fred and his company. They’re not only honest and fair but they’re able to do things most excavation companies are not able to do. Alfredo and his team did an incredible job at replacing a sewer pipe at my house. The team operated like a well-oiled machine: the work wasn't affected by curveballs such as a yard of concrete waste left by the previous shoddy repair 10 feet in the hole, delayed concrete delivery, or the inclement weather. The final product is just stellar. Bravo!

During a hydro flush and inspection of a commercial building roof drainage we found broken clay pipe underground. Alfredo was available in a day to produce a video inspection, and estimate. The job was scheduled for 1 week out after accepting the estimate, and included all permits and full job, start to finish, with excavation, new pipe, cement support, and final paving. Outstanding work crew and diligence. Highly recommend, and will definitely keep them on my contractor call list.

Fred and his family owned business are A+ for sure. Being a single women in a new area it was scary to try to get this sewer fixed. The sewer scope people I originally hired missed a big problem because one of the cleanouts was buried. Fred was quick to expose the problem and was able to fit me in, in less than 48 hours. Also my insurance company first denied my claim because they focused on the first sewer scope from the other company which missed the big problem, Fred and his team were so amazing they talked to the supervisor at the insurance company and wrote a thorough report and now my claim is APPROVED:) I could not be more grateful. Backhoe Fred and The ATeam is my go-to sewer contractor! Fred is so knowledgeable, professional, on time, and friendly. He is able to do everything from a sewer scope to cleaning a line, to full excavation or pipe bursts and sleeves. So, when a problem shows up in a scope, he can give you a couple of options plus a ballpark estimate right on the spot. I have never had Fred try to upsell me on any of the jobsites that I have worked with him on. I have also never had him not honor his bid. And to back him up, Alana is a rock star in the office...equally knowledgeable, available, professional and SO HELPFUL! Realtors....if you need a reliable teammate for inspections, this is the one you need!!

While showing me the video of the sewer line scope during my home inspection, Fred noticed what looked to be a small crack in the pipe towards the edge of my property. He provided me with a couple of options but highly recommended that it get replaced in the near future. It ended up being more damaged than what was previous thought, so I'm very grateful that he recommended replacing the pipe right away.
During the repair, a member of his team kept me informed throughout the entire process. The team also managed to complete the repair in a only few hours (including digging out and then re-filling part of the street). I would definitely recommend A Team Excavation to others!

I don't review many businesses, but here is one who deserves it. Alfredo did a sewer job for us at the recommendation of a home inspector. Fair, honest, and just a hard working crew is how I would describe these guys. 180 Ft of sewer pulled under a neighbors house! In calling around to compare pricing, many wouldn't even do the job. I asked one excavation company who mentioned that the job was outside of their abilities if he knew Alfredo, and his answer was YES hire him, he is fantastic almost 7 months later, no issues, and he came back out to trim down some PVC after the ground had settled from the digging (which is completely normal). Just a good guy. He is a valuable member of my contacts.

We are super-satisfied with A-Team Excavation! We had a sudden water line leak in our front yard and A-Team had it fixed the next day! We are so glad that the other three companies we called couldn’t help us, because we found A-Team! They were very accommodating, efficient, and professional! Fred was referred by a friend to repair a water line break. He responded quickly, gave a fair estimate and once the repair was begun discovered an absolute mess of sewer line issues as well. He and his team quickly assessed the issues, worked with the city to get permits and inspections and made all of the repairs. I had a sewer problem, and a $13k bid from another company. I called Alfredo to get a second bid, hoping to shave off a few Dollars. He did the work at 24 hrs notice, on a Saturday, and it passed the inspection - all for $4k.
He knows what he's doing, and he's also a nice guy.

I needed the main sewer line under my basement slab with three tap points, as well as the main line outside the house to the septic tank replaced. This involved jack hammering up the slab, excavating the line, and working in very tight spaces under a stud wall to replace the taps. The new line was bedded inside and out with crushed rock before back filling and reconcreting the slab. Alfredo and his team of two guys completed all of this work in less than two days. I was present during major steps of the project and was impressed with ATeam's attention to detail, respect for my property, and their positive attitude. I do quite a bit of remodeling work myself and know quality work when I see it. Alfredo takes pride in his work. He was on time and on budget and worked with me to come up with the best solution for this project.

A-Team was quick to respond to a leaking water pipe at the junction with the city main. Due to the emergency nature of the issue, they started and finished the work the day after I called them. Their team was courteous and explained the situation, and they integrated well with CSU to get inspection done ASAP so I could get my water back on. Would definitely recommend for sewer/water/excavation work.

Fred and his crew have gained a customer for life, and it was literally on accident...

A-Team-Excavation was doing a sewer pipe job for our neighbor, and in the process, they unintentionally damaged our sewer line. When I spoke to him about our suspicion of the damage, they immediately started a scope of our sewer to locate the issue.

When he realized that they had in fact damaged our line, he immediately owned up to it, apologized, and they started working on the repair.

Our line was repaired within 3 hours of my first contact with him.

A Team Excavation will be the only plumber I call, or refer people to, in the future. I can't wait to work with them again (only hopefully for regular maintenance jobs and not emergencies. 😉)!

The sewer lines at my property were backing up. I called Rooto Rooter to clear the roots. Rooto Rooter said they could not clear out the system completely they ran a video and said I needed to replace my sewer lines that would cost about $10,000 and they could get it done the following Monday.
I called the A Team for an estimate and Fred the owner came out right away, he was able to watch the video and saw there was another area for clean out. He was able to get the lines cleaned out and cleared the lines out to the city line. He suggested that I call him to clear the roots once a year. Fred said there is no reason to replace the sewer lines. Before you do any work call the A-Team for an estimate. Fred’s honesty and integrity is so refreshing. He could have just given me an estimate to replace my sewer lines and I would have never known the difference. -Sarah Gonzales

This is the team to hire! First of all, they responded to phone calls promptly. They gave us a fair estimate and truly care about their work. The line we had replaced was at a short term rental - we scheduled it a few months out when no guests would be there. But, when a guest canceled last minute, Fred was able to show up during that time frame and get the work done! We blocked out five days for the job and they had it done in two. And, they left the place like they had never been there at all! Upon settling up for this job, we'd like to hire them again for a couple more projects at our residence. They are great!

My elderly parents experienced a back up on their sewer line that required excavation and clean outs to be installed to fix the line. If you need sewer work done, this is the company. I had two other companies come out and say I needed a whole new sewer line at a cost of 15,000.00. These guys came and showed me there wasn't a crack in the line other than at the point of entry for the house. They replaced that - tore up my sidewalk, plants, mulch and drip system and replaced it all as if nothing happened. Headache free and showed up as promised. I wish all companies operated like this.

Fred and A team fixed my sewer line last Oct, reasonable pricing and excellent professionalism. He uses high quality sewer pipes that are not foam core. Would recommend to anyone needing a sewer replacement. No issues since my line was replaced, it only took a day to fix. Also Fred is honest and will tell you the truth of what needs to be done, instead of what can make him the most money.
