Had a problem with one of our toilets and a clogged sink in another bathroom. The two Technicians from Wizard arrived on time, very Friendly, put on their shoe protectors. Examined the problems, and fixed both problems within an hour, I had been given an estimate once they saw the problems, prior to correcting. I appreciate that they could schedule me in on the same day I called about the problems. And would definitely consider them again.
We had a stubborn clog in a shower. Sam showed up the same day I requested service. He was very polite, wore a mask, and stayed cognizant of social distancing while he was here. Great, efficient service.

Wizard came highly recommended by a neighbor. So appreciate that they are open on Sundays since that's when our water pipe emergency happened. They had no one to come out that day (we had the water to the house turned off), but someone came first thing on Monday morning and in no time had diagnosed and fixed the problem. We were so grateful for the professional work and quick fix! We'll definitely call on them again!

Oscar arrived early in the window given. I explained what I wanted in a toilet and the issues we had with the existing one. He went and picked up a new toilet meeting our needs, took out the old one, installed the new one and hauled the old one away all within 2.5 hours. Happy with the service.

Wizard plumbing did a fantastic job with our sewer problems. They also detected our kitchen pipes were corroded and leaking so they fixed that as well. They promise a certain price, timeline and work required and met all their promises. These guys take pride in their work and make sure everything is working to your expectations. Highly recommended.

Wow, what great service. When I called to make an appointment I thought the next available time slot would be a few days out. Not the case. I got got an appointment the same day. Steve arrived within the promised time frame and quickly identified the issue. He explained what was wrong and what the fix was. Start to finish it took less than 30 min. Steve was awesome! Will definitely ask for Steve the next time I am in need of plumbing services.

A straight forward job very well done but it is expensive. We paid $300. Our metal fatigued U-trap needed replacement and thankfully it was done right away. Very relieving! I only have given 4 stars just because the price is high-tho sadly this is the Bay Area and prices are high here sometimes.

Installed washer hook ups including waste line to main sewer line.The hot/cold water copper pipes looked great and our electrician complimented their work.It took 1.5 days and they had to dig a lot. Great work, we are happy. The price was also much less than another estimate we received.

Amazing family own and operated business. Wonderful and knowledgeable staffs. Very prompt, friendly and reasonable priced. I have a restaurant inside a very own building. Steven and his staffs are amazing. They help fix/solve our drains and all our plumbing problem in check so we can focus on running our restaurant. I love these guys.
They did a great job installing our reverse osmosis water filter under our kitchen sink and did a few minor repairs around the house. They also flushed our tankless water heater, though the unit’s outdoor plug somehow failed a few days after, which generated an electrician call. Could be coincidence, however. I would recommend them far above another well known outfit, which created a sham estimate!

Out of the blue, I noticed my kitchen garbage disposal was starting to leak. I called the manufacturer for assistance and they were no help. I found Wizard Plumbing and gave them a call. They came out to me in a couple of hours and replaced my garbage disposal in a very timely fashion. I also chatted up with Miguel who was the one who did the replacement.
Antonio was great! He was on time and explained what was happening with the pipe. He let me know of different repair options and also provided estimates for other services he identified. I would not hesitate to ask for Antonio in the future.

I've used Wizard on several occasions for urgent plumbing repair. Quality of workmanship seems excellent. However, pricing seems at the high end of the spectrum. If your need isn't urgent, suggest getting a comparison price from another plumber.

What a nice group of people. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Like most houses around here we have Orangeburg pipes which are doomed to fail. Wizard came immediately, assessed the damage, and got to work. Sadly, it turned out to be a lot more work than expected so the price increased considerable from the initial estimate. It has been worked out. Will definitely recommend.

Wizard plumbing and drain really came to the rescue! I had a small water leak that was controlled up until two separate incidents that made the leak become out of hand!Luckily I was able to call just after 8 this morning and I was immediately given a two hour window from 9 to 11 in order to get the situation resolved! I am happy to say that Oscar from Wizard plumbing and drain arrived just before 10 and took care of the leak!Oscar was very friendly and understanding especially after I told him the whole story!! He maintained his professionalism at all times and explained everything he did. Oscar was very clean and respectful of our property. Oscar was even wonderful enough to give us some insight on future repairs!Needless to say, we are extremely satisfied with both Wizard plumbing and drain and Oscar! Thank you both very much!!
This is the third time I have used Wizard Pluming all for different reasons. Today, I had the sink in the kitchen snaked. David Yepez and his assistant were very professional and the cost was reasonable.I have found the owner, Mark, very helpful and sincere at providing good professional plumbing services. Team leader Mo came to unplug a toilet, but he and his team actually found and documented a much more serious problem to bring to the landlord’s attention. Had he not done the analysis, more serious damage could have occurred. My wife and I were very impressed by the staff who took our call and especially to the professionalism displayed by Mo and his entire team.
Franco was great. They were running late so they called me to adjust the window and work with my schedule. I had a low flow issue with hot water and I had cleaned and descaled the cartridge and shower heads but still had issues. Franco took a look at the work and cleaned the mixing valve and didn’t charge me. I would use them with eyes closed anytime I need them in the future. Thank you for a great service.
Mike Salem and his team did a great job identifying our problem - a 65 year old broken sewer line from Redwood roots. He discussed options for repair, then rerouted the lower part of our line around 2 large Redwood trees with 6-8 foot deep hand dug trench, connecting with the main line and adding a clean out. They then replaced the upper part of our line with a trenchless pipe, installing a 2 way clean out at the top. They filled all the trenches, reinstalled a part of a brick pathway that had to be removed, and rebuilt 2 rock retaining walls. They carefully cleaned up everything before departing. The team was incredibly hard working, polite, and a pleasure to work with. We especially appreciated the hard work of Elmer, Joel, and Eduin. Mike was very responsive to any questions we had throughout the job. A great team and company.

Christopher was extremely friendly and explained our issue (kitchen sink clog due to corroding pipe) clearly. He was able to resolve the clog quickly and also helped adjust our under-sink pipes to address leaks that manifested during the clog. Price was a little expensive ($485 for kitchen sink clog), but the service was quick and excellent.
Wizard is the best. They were punctual and opens late. Something like a water heater being so critical it’s nice to know that there are people out there who have your back when you need them the most! Special shout out to Danny!

Called Wizard after my remodel subcontractor says I had some issues with my pipes not related to the new remodel. Wanted to charge $325 for a camera inspection. I called Wizard as I used them before for a kitchen clog. They looked at the piping and used a camera to inspect my sewer line to the main line and did not find any issues. They looked at the new piping from the subcontractor and gave some recommendations what might be the issue. Recommended I contact back the contractor and not pay to fix it myself. They spent almost an hour looking over everything and left without charging me anything as there were no clogs in the sewer lines. They are honest and truthful and do not try to drum up business! Highly recommended for any plumbing needs or issues!
Very professional and responsive they were available to replace a water heater in just a couple of days after my call when other plumbers said they were booked for at least two weeks. Their price was below other quotes I received and the quality of the job was very good. Communication was very easy, they texted or called with updates and we are very satisfied with the end result.

Our water heater leaked overnight, and I knew I had to call Wizard Plumbing. Our past experiences with this company have been superb, so it was a no-brainer.Kyle came out the very next day, inspected the unit and said it needed to be replaced. He then proceeded to work on it immediately. It only took less than 2 hours of his time, and he was done. Kyle was fantastic to work with!! I had a pleasant experience. We were without hot water for less than 24 hours and now were up and running again. Yay!!! I highly recommend Kyle for your water heater needs.Thank you, Wizard Plumbing!!

We used wizard plumbing for a rental that was backing up in San Mateo it ended up being a broken sewer line towards the street that was underneath a power pole, They talked to the renters for us told them what was going on, pulled the permits and got the power company there to pull the pole out while they dug it out and replaced it , they are very reasonable and professional, I would definitely use them again and Definitely recommend.

My expectations were high.The service I got from Josue and Miguel in exploring my problems today was all I hoped and more. They hung in with me for a long list of questions. They explored my project exceptionally diligently to define the best possible solution(s) in a very complicated (and uncomfortable in a crawl space!) situation. They left no stone unturned in defining the best possible fix. Their *can-do* approach was comforting and reassuring when faced with a very difficult job. Decades of experience pays off! Gregg predicted the problem (tear in the water heater burner) as soon as we described the problem to him. He let us know that he could install an available part immediately, or if we could wait until following morning, he could get a part covered under warranty which would cut the overall job price in 1/2. He ordered part immediately and installed next morning. And when he removed the old part, he showed us and sure enough, there was the tear in the burner. Highly recommend company.

Called them out for a clogged drain at noon on a Sunday. They gave us a 3 - 5 pm window. The tech arrived promptly at 3pm and spent 90 minutes working on finding the clog. He was able to determine the clog was a collapsed pipe in the ground outside of the house. Since he wasn't able to clear the clog, he didn't charge us. Really appreciate the way they conduct business. The tech was on time, super polite and very professional. We will call them back again in the future.

Christian and Israel were awesome. Called them in the morning to get leaky hot water tank replaced and they arrived by noon, with the replacement tank and had everything done in just about an hour. Very professional, told me everything I needed to know about the new tank and made sure they checked for any leaks before they left.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

Excellent job done by Mario and his team. Replaced my leaking A.O. Smith Vertex water heater (that had a faulty flue which caused premature corrosion) with a simpler Bradford white water heater.Mario spotted the faulty flue (due to shoddy initial installation of the water heater 7 years ago) and fixed it for a small addition cost.His price was better then 2 other Yelp competitors and the quality appears to be excellent. I would strongly recommend them.

Super happy with how wizard plumbing has always been so responsive to my needs, big and small, and how they've effectively resolved all my issues. This winter I had to call them on a holiday weekend when my basement had flooded. Within two days they had ordered and installed a brand new sump pump for me. Then with a couple of smaller issues they came out just as promptly and helped me resolve a drip in my faucet.
There are only a couple of companies I would step up and recommend them all the time. They have repaired our house to the city main in 2014, have come out and serviced our drain at no charge if needed. Awesome guys to deal with, honest, and hard working.

5/24/21I called Wizard Plumbing to clear a poorly draining bathroom sink, and as a precaution run the rotor rooter through the sewer pipe. The person who answered the phone refused to give a quote. A plumber came, cleared the sink drain and ran the rotor rooter through the sewer pipe. He spent about 45 min on the job and charged $ 575. He would not give me an invoice but promised one by email. None came. I called Wizard and again requested an invoice. None came.The $ 575 charge for 45 min on the job was outrageous. They did remove a difficult to remove nut but that was only part of the job. They didn't finish the job of installing a faucet. They didn't clean up. Took old parts without asking - no big deal but since the job isn't over who knows what I could use.I wanted a new faucet installed and now I have nothing.

We had a plumber come out because we had a tap leak. I needed help as my husband was out of town. He quoted us $680 for a cartridge change as it was an outdated model. He suggested a faucet change for $3000. My husband who is a complete novice in plumbing fixed it under $50 a 1.5 hours of work. I y not too leave negative reviews for snack business but this was really a rip off. Save your money here.

On Monday morning, January 2nd, 2023, I am staying with my elderly parents. While taking a shower, I hear the toilet gurgling. I turn off the shower and the toilet is gurgling. I flush the toilet and it doesn’t drain. I googled toilet gurgling and it suggests testing other toilets in the house, if the other doesn’t flush, it’s the MAINLINE!Oh, no, it doesn’t flush so I googled plumbers in the area and found Wizard Plumbing’s site, I was able to get a same day 10:00am appt for my parent’s home. Mootasem came to the house, checked the crawl space and saw standing water. Oh no, again. Mootasem kept me informed on what he was doing throughout the appt. He went on the roof to try to clear a clog, but could not after going 60ft out. He needed to remove a toilet to clear the clog which was the whole house not draining. Mootasem cleared the clog and found a temporary sump pump and extension cord for the standing water in the crawl space (completely unrelated to drain problem) for my elderly parent’s home and was done by 1:00pm. Wizard Plumbing and Mootasem exceeded my expectations and I am very grateful for your help that day. The thought of having no toilets or drains for even one day with elderly parents was concerning and Mootasem respected our situation with kindness. Thank you.

*REMINDER: YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE. BEING KIND AND COURTEOUS IS FREE AND GOES A LONG WAY*Justin showed up on time, was incredibly professional. Answered all my questions. Had a slight miscommunication via the dispatcher (not Justin’s fault) but that’s menial and perfectly understandable considering the same day turn around. Justin did not stop until he was able to fully diagnose and address and FIX the problem. He didn’t upsell me, however he did give me a range of best to worst case scenarios cost wise-which was not pretty- but I just appreciate the honesty and openness about cost. We were almost at an em passé with simple fix options(snaking a massive knot of hair!) due to my homes build, not for his convenience or anything derogatory professionally(laziness, greed etc); which could have resulted in a $2200 fix to overhaul our system-an option we clarified from the beginning that we would not have been able to do, when he was able to fix the problem.Hard working, open with information, honest, skilled and diligent. This man is a gem.

On time, Pleasant competent representatives. Cleared the drain without mess. Sent me a receipt by email. Verbally guaranteed the work for 30 days. I would put a guarantee in writing, regardless I found their word good. Yes, I would recommend this company because they did everything as predicted. .
Steve at Wizard Plumbing was very professional and explained what needed to be done to fix our leaky faucet and dripping hoses. There was one glitch that the company proactively fixed and followed through even though it took some time and effort on their part. I would highly recommend them and will use them for any future plumbing needs.
Wizard is my go-to plumber for any job around the house. Has been the first plumbing company I call when I have a problem, since 2012 personally. Despite my extensive reviewing, I'm generally cautious about endorsing home service companies because we all know that our customer experience can vary so much each time, depending on who they send and how well their skills fit the particular problem. But here I am, having had Rafael from Wizard just replace my broken water heater. I am writing a review and Google asks me to catalogue the various tasks they've done for my family over the years. I find it surprisingly extensive. Water heater died, kitchen faucet leak, garbage disposal failure, wobbly toilets, clogged drains. Each time a different visit, and each time I'd called Wizard for the job. Because each and every time since the first, I had a good customer experience in what was otherwise a bad day. Each time their people were good or great, and each time the problem was fixed for what I soberly reckoned as a fair price.Nobody likes to have to call a plumber. But when I have to, I've never regretted calling Wizard. What more could you want from a plumber?

First thing, I want give Manny a shout out, because he was wonderful!! He came in to install our faucet and ended up helping us with so many things! He discovered why our dishwasher has been leaking (which is huge because we ended up not using it for over a year). We now have a functioning dishwasher that is safe with an “air gap” that was installed. Our faucet was in terrible shape and he was able to take it out and install the new one in a very short time. Best of all, he was happy to share his knowledge and answer all of my questions. We are so thrilled with the results, Manny is the man!

The gal that answered the phone was pleasant and efficient quickly getting my information and understanding my needs. An appointment was made, with a follow up text confirming the appointment. An additional text followed letting me the technician was on the way. This text included a photo of the tech which I felt great about being that I am home alone most of the time.Both technicians came neatly dressed and were professional and courteous. Wizard was responsive to initial call and able to set up appointment within a couple days. The plumber, Jay, was friendly, considerate (wore mask and took shoes off in house), and relatively quick in assessing the problem with our leaking shower and came ready with a replacement shower valve that also required some adjustments. Great experience overall and very reasonable price for part and labor. Will definitely call them again for future plumbing needs.
I called in at 3:30pm and Sam came to my home to fix the kitchen pipe leak at 4:30pm. Fast and honestly!

Your service was fine. Your charges for cleaning out my bathroom sink drain $325 and tub (which was not clogged) $249 was outrageous! A total of $574 for less than an hours work. I guess it's my fault that I didn't get an estimate first. Buyer Beware!

Wizard's professionals came in on a Saturday night with minimal advance notice and rapidly identified the issue with the water heater. I've never seen a faster technician that knew exactly where every nut and bolt of the heater was, how to test and diagnose, and later replace/repair the part that was damaged. Mike came out on a Sunday 15 minutes after I called the company. He was super easy to deal with and explained the problems I had. He managed to unclog my sewer line and showed me on camera its condition. He also answered my questions about an unrelated issue with my house. I am very happy with the service and will definitely recommend the business.
Landon (plumber) was courteous, honest and efficient. In addition, after the repair, cleaned up everything. We’ll have a better world if we had more guys like Landon.

I called these guys one evening in a panic. The dispatcher, I think her name was Tina was very helpful. She called one of the plumbers and had them out first thing the very next morning and they got our bathroom up and running. You never know how much you love your bathroom until you can't use it. Bottom line: Wizard Plumbing is very expensive and does not arrive on time.On Monday December 27, I called Wizard Plumbing to have a drain pipe cleared out under our driveway. The soonest they were available was 2:00 to 4:00 on Thursday, December 30, so I scheduled our appointment for that time slot.On that day, my husband came home early from work to meet the plumber. About 3:30, he got a text saying that they would not arrive until 5:00. About 6:00, he texted them to find out if they were still coming and they said they were. About 8:00, he received a call saying that they would arrive at 8:30. The plumber arrived after 9:00, more than 5 hours after the window that they had scheduled with us 3 days previously and most of that time they kept us waiting with no communication.The plumber was there an hour and it cost $350.Because we were expecting the plumber to arrive at any minute starting at 2:00 in the afternoon, we did not have dinner until 10:30 at night after the plumber left.I am giving the review 2 stars instead of 1 because the problem was fixed, but it was a whole lot of waiting for a very expensive hour. At least our garage should no longer flood in the rain.

Maybe not the least expensive option, but very professional, responsive and knowledgeable.
Wizard Plumbing was quite professional. They did a great job in repairing 3 different plumbing issues, and also connected a new gas line for a new gas stove — at a house in Palo Alto. I was happy and would use their services again.
They were able to get to us the same day after I clogged my disposal with carrot peals and out in less that an hour.

Be careful. I was fooled by the 5 star reviews and called these guys out. I had two plumbers come out and say that it cost $1900 to fix my shower. They insisted that it needed a whole new system. I got a second opinion and it ended up costing me $75 to replace and obtain the correct handles.

There is nothing more shocking than coming home to water pouring out of your garage coming from your water heater! I called Wizard Plumbing, and there technician Jon was out in less than in hour! He thoroughly explained everything from its age, to why it happened and the process of how to fix it. He not only started right away, but had us back up and running in a few short hours! I will definitely be calling Wizard Plumbing in the future, and I recommend you do the same!

I was in desperate need of a plumber and, when I called Wizard, they sent two technicians out within a few hours. They worked quickly and efficiently, explained the problem to me, and left my two bathrooms cleaner than when they arrived. That's my idea of customer service.
Found the business through Yelp. They helped me with clogged toilets in two properties. They also helped me replace water heater. I did bidding over water heater and they provided the most reasonable price and better and more professional service. There was one time they showed up and fixed something minor but critical for me and didn’t charge me anything. I will hire them with a blink of eyes.

We had a major sewer problem on Friday morning and all of our drainage was blocked and sewer water was coming out of our toilet, I called Wizard Plumbing, they answered my phone call fast and in an hour two people were at my front door, after in a very short time, they found out that the pipe was broken, they started the process and on Saturday morning the group of six people started and by end of the day we were able to use the shower and bathroom. I never had this kind of experience with any other company, I definitely recommend this Company and I give them 10 stars.

Our toilets were backing up and we called Wizard Plumbing and Drain. Ivan came out and worked really hard late into Friday evening. Sewer line was still clogged. On Saturday, Ivan and his supervisor, Mike came out and took a giant plug of roots and dirt from the line. They were very professional, knowledgeable, used the right tools to get the job done and saved us from an expensive open trench repair. Kudos to the company and its crew.
Had a new refrigerator delivered and needed a plumber because the water was not working. The water had been previously working to the old refrigerator but decided not to for this one. Wizard investigated the problem and provided a resolution which could be undertaken the following day. They were able to upgrade the piping and fit a safety tap under the sink for future use. So the crew was able to fix two problems at once. Very grateful. Very tidy, respectful, followed through on agreed time and cost.

The two technicians arrived early and went right to work. What they needed was on their truck/van. Expensive… needed a tub drain cleaned out. Took the tech less than 10 minutes in total, and cost $400.
Not reliable. I was scheduled time and received confirmation text msg appointment. but the plumber didn't show up, and called back office, they said will have someone else to come later and later. it is rental unit and I need to sit in the car waited for 6 hours, still no one showed up and called me back. really upset about their service and wondering how or why this company has 5 stars in yelp and 4.8 in Google!!!!

Mariano & Abraham arrived during the given appointment window. They gave me a fair estimate for the work to remove/replace toilet, clear the clogged pipe & to camera inspect line to main. They performed the work proficiently, and Mariano explained the condition of my pipes via the camera inspection. Mariano provided quotes for full line replacement, as well as install of two-way clean-out as an alternate solution. Will definitely call again for future work.
-- UpdateThey have send another couple to fix and it looks that as we use the grinder, it is moving down. Their response is very fast and I like that.-----------I have had sink clogged so asked them to come to fix it.The clogging is fixed but then the garbage disposal was broken by them. They say the pipe is too old. They fixed that as well, asking for $500+.One month later, the garbage disposal seems broken again and leaking water very badly.I will wait to see how it is going to be fixed.

I can no longer trust this plumber and will seek a new one the next time I need one. The price was absurdly high for simply replacing the toilet handle. $120 higher than the Full price for a quote online and $170 higher than their discounted price. I had used them enough to book the repair and I'm certainly regretting it - $385 for this brief simple toilet handle replacement! Never More! Of course I would have objected had they told me what they were going to charge me, and I am [slightly] sadder but definitely wiser.
Water at our kitchen sink was backing up. We tried to snake it by ourselves and then discovered that our effort caused shower drain overflowing... We called Wizard Plumbing on Sat eve. and they scheduled the work the next day. Waylen Y and his team member knew exactly what to do and fix the drain issue quickly. Waylen was very professional and pleasant to work with and he explained the issue and answered all our questions patiently. We appreciate that they come out to provide service on Sunday!

Work done competently by a professional plumber with good people skills and good plumbing skills. They were a little late on a Saturday afternoon and I received a call from their office to let me know. Excellent service.
We have had Wizard out twice in the last two days. The first time was for a shower back up that was coming from a plug in the main line (roots, argh). We had received an estimate from Roto-Rooter for $700; thankfully, Mark was able to fix the problem in short order for $189.Unfortunately, the flow back had caused another clog somewhere higher up the line, causing a leak when we run water on the other side of the house. I was able to loosen this myself with a 25' auger (thinking I had fixed the problem). In the process of accessing the drain, however I bumped an attachment to the sink which began to leak and was extremely difficult to access. Mark came back, and fixed the problem at absolutely zero cost, even though he had driven out, provided his expert opinion, and spent close to half an hour tightening it up.
I recently had occasion to call Wizard Plumbing and Drain for a blocked sewer line between my garage and the street.Although it was late at night, Franco was at my house within half an hour of my call. He had actually been about to go to bed, but he got up, got dressed, and came right over.The service he provided was professional, courteous and fast. I was particularly impressed by the care he took to avoid bumping into our furnishings or scratching our floor as he maneuvered his equipment through our house. Franco not only fixed the problem, he was able to show me the cause of the blockage (tree roots) by running a TV camera through our pipes to the street. I highly recommend Wizard Plumbing and Drain and especially Franco and I would not hesitate to call them again.
We've known our sewer lateral is in need of replacement due to severe root intrusion. We were hoping we could wait for a few more months until remodeling, but I guess the pipe just couldn't wait for us any longer. We called up a couple plumbing services, and Juan from Wizard came to our rescue on the same day within the promised timeframe. We were able to unclog our drain on that same day. We discussed about getting an estimate for replacing the sewer lateral and Juan came back the following Friday to give us a thorough video inspection before coming up with an estimate. I was very impressed with Juan detail video description of the sewer condition (what type of pipes (clay, cast iron, abs) at each section of the video). Compared with another video we've done with a different plumbing company, Juan's inspection video was much more detailed, descriptive, and informative. Once he has completed the inspection and went on phone with his manager, he came back with a reasonable quote and explained the exact section where they will replace, how they will open up the road, and how long it will take. I was impressed and appreciative of his time to explaining the whole process and this was what sold me. Once I signed the proposal, the crew came about 1.5 wks later after getting permit from the city. They were able to replace exactly as what was described in the work order and faster than their original plan. Overall, I was very happy with the service.

They fixed the problem correctly and promptly. We actually were offered an earlier time than scheduled on the day of the repair, which worked well with our schedule. I asked Wizard for an estimate to replace some piping underneath a downstairs bathroom, and to remount an existing toilet. Their rep quoted the work as taking about 2 hours, and costing $1,500. Even if you used a crazy-high hourly plumber's rate of $200/hour, that's only $400 in labor. Add $100-$200 for parts (just a few feet of ABS piping and fittings), and I thought the job would be in the $500-$600 range. $1,500 feels like a company that's trying to take advantage of any customer who doesn't know better. I'm getting other quotes, and so far none are above $1,000. I won't be using Wizard.

Very professional team. Mario came in, assessed the issue(s) and walked us through what was causing our drainage issues. Him and his partner worked to resolve the blockage quickly and took care to leave our home as clean as when they arrived.
Trying to clear a kitchen drain clog led to finding mud in the underground drain pipe, so our 60 year-old underground drain line had broken. Rather than just say, “dig up the concrete” to repair the break, Mo came up with a way to reroute the drain line thru the crawl space to join the main drain line, running the new pvc along the ceiling in the garage.The result is neatly done, satisfactory in appearance, and works great. I preferred this solution to several days of jackhammering, digging and concrete repair.Price was not cheap, at $8600 (1-1/2 days of work). But there was value in the knowledge of an alternative to digging up our concrete garage, which would likely have cost significantly more and taken days longer.
Good work. Techs were on time. Explained in details the issue.

Anthony & Armando from Wizard Plumbing installed a new kitchen faucet at my residence. Both were very courteous and professional; they removed my old unit, cleaned up the area and disposed of all the waste immediately afterward. They wore booties inside my residence and worked carefully throughout the job. The challenge they faced was the extra electrical work required to hook up the touchless sensor feature. They handled it expertly and finished ahead of their original schedule. It’s been working nicely since the installation two days ago; I have 30 days warranty but I’m optimistic there won’t be any issues.

Had an urgent need for plumbing services in the early evening. Toilet gurgling and then back up in both the bathtub and a shower stall. Water overflowed from shower into the bedroom. I searched Yelp and Nextdoor for recommendations and found Wizard! The responses I received when I called were helpful professional and caring. My desperation was surely evident.Jay arrived at the house within 30 minutes! He quickly addressed the issue, offered recommended solutions and even referred me to a restoration company for possible water damage! When he arrived I showed him that we had a leak. It was very obvious with wet area and soaked towel under the sink. He couldn’t immediately find where it was leaking and was just going to stop and leave and told me there was no leak!! I knew there was a leak and had him do another project and while he was replacing a faucet, I found the leak! He should have taken the time to find it, not me. He should not have just abandoned it! He finally ended up repairing it but only because I was able to find the problem . He is supposed to be the professional not me.

Called for a plumbing emergency as the water was shut off to my entire house do to the switch breaking. 20 minutes after I called a technician showed up and not only fixed our issue and got our water back up and running but was willing to be extremely creative as to not ruin the new deck we just had put in.I can not recommend these guys enough, fair price, great service and quick response. I had an emergency where the under the sink pipe in the kitchen was leaking even though I had turned off main water line. I had no idea what to do! Wizard plumbing was amazing! At first Landon tried to install the “plug and play” filter system I was trying to when I caused the leak. Turned out there were missing parts! I then requested him to help fix the leak and get the water for the house fixed first! Since he didn’t have the right part, he drove to the store, got the right part and fixed the issue!! He was super patient with all questions during and afterwards. He made sure he explained how the water heater was cycling the water even though water mains was turned off, causing the leak. Called at 8:15am, got a quick response -> at 9am already had a technician at my door. Christian was professional, provided a reasonable quote and cleared clogged pipes between toilet and washer machine on a 2nd floor of my townhouse. Overall, great professional service team. Wizard Plumbing has helped us on many projects and we have always had a great experience. When we needed them at our own office, they were able to service us same day and on short notice. The technician that was assigned to us kept us informed of his timeframe and when we should expect him. We had a difficult plumbing situation and he stayed late until he had determined the problem and found the fix! At one point he needed additional help - his manager and another technician showed up well after normal business hours to lend expert help. They had such a great attitude and we stayed even later just chatting with them. I called Wizard at 9:15 AM. By 9:30 AM David and Daniel arrived at the door. I gave them a shower faucet mixer pressure balancing cartridge to replace a malfunctioning old one. There were a few complications which David quickly figured out. The installation was completed and they were out the door by 10:30 AM. Now that's what I call prompt, knowledgeable and efficient plumbing service. Wizard plumbers are indeed wizards.

Called on a Thursday afternoon after getting a $1200 per toilet estimate for replacing a toilet from another plumber we have used. Went on to Yelp and sent out a request for estimates from 4 different local plumbers. WIzard was the first to respond, gave me a range of what it might cost, and agreed to send a team over within an hour to give me a solid estimate, no charge. (Several others wanted a $69 charge to come over and look at it. No thank you.) The team headed by Miguel took a look, gave me a VERY reasonable quote to haul my new toilet upstairs, take the current one out. Then they did it in less than 25 minutes. Can I just say, this is what excellent service is? Professional, friendly, on time, perfect cleanup after the job. Thank you Miguel and partner at Wizard Plumbing!

Very prompt. We had a shower valve cartridge replaced, and the job was completed quickly and carefully important given we are in a condo and had to coordinate building water shutoff. However the actual price we paid was 100 dollars ($450 for 1hr of labor only) more than the verbally quoted price of $350. Given I purchased all parts before and independently of the job, this felt expensive. No itemization was provided yet or any written/electronic estimate during the process. Buyer beware.
Service was great! I showed what the problem was, which was a broken grommet seal. They said that the grommet seal usually breaks when replacing the wires. So no need to do anything. That was good. But $190 is really steep for just turning back on the gas valve and also re-lighting the flame on my water heater. I should have just done it myself after they showed me how to do it, but I didn’t trust myself.
These guys are great. We had a leak that was below the toilet coming into the basement and they gave reasonable estimates of what things would cost and suggested we start with the cheaper easier one. Jay and Waylon came back two days later and fixed the problem quickly with the cheaper option and everything works great. Really professional and great work.

The quality of the work and response time were great but the cost was very exorbitant. I needed a water heater elevated and strapped before selling my parents home. This required some re-piping but the cost of $1400.00 to do this work was way too high after talking to some other plumbers.

This is the only company that was able to come the same day when our kitchen sink got clogged. Great customer service. They gave me 4-6pm window, and then called me a couple of times apologizing that they are running late. The repairman who came was very professional and experienced. Within minutes he was able to repair the clog despite the roots present so we did not have to call another company. I have used Wizard plumbing couple of times and their crew are great. I have Elmer Lopez working on my sewer lateral replacement. He has been great.
I have used Wizard Plumbing before -- back in July they repiped what was a plumbing disaster with crumbling pipes in our crawlspace. Last week they fixed a pipe under the sink in the bathroom that had rotted and been broken by a handyman by accident, necessitating our shutting off of water. In each case Mo was our lead plumber. He is professional, knowledgeable, and I trust him to evaluate the situation and give me an honest appraisal, and offer options. It was a delicate job, and he suggested we might wish to contact a contractor. But we asked him to attempt the repair which he did beautifully, and saved us a lot of money. I recommend Wizard highly. Also their operators/customer service people are professional and helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough.
The service was more than good, it was great at a price. One plumber came to see the problem of the water heater and suggested to replace it. My wife at home alone just wanted the problem fixed and agreed to the estimation. Another plumber joined and bring in the new water heater. Totally, from 7 PM to 9 PM, the job was done. The new 40 gallon water heater is about $700 in stores. The bill was at $1975. Yes, it is great service as long as you feel like to pay the high labor cost. To me, next time, I'll think again because it takes me many days of work to cover the high labor cost.

I used Wizard plumbing to replace a corroded pipe in the wall of my condo behind my kitchen sink. Wizard was great through the entire job; they came on time for the initial estimate, were knowledgeable, and were also the cheapest of three plumbers I had quote the job. After accepting their offer Wizard worked to find a time that would work for me, and we got a follow-up appointment scheduled quickly to do the work.On the planned morning the team - Manny, Miguel, and Beder - arrived right as scheduled and set to work. They were careful to lay down mats prior to starting work, and worked to minimize the size of the opening they had to make in my cabinets (we had agreed this was the better plan than opening the exterior wall). They completely rebuilt the entire kitchen drain setup, and replaced ~5' of pipe in the wall plus fixed an issue with the original 1960's construction where the pipe was sloping the wrong way. They even agreed to reduce the price relative to the original estimate when the job turned out to be smaller than expected once the wall was open.I wouldn't hesitate to use Wizard again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber in the area!

Amazing! Every other emergency plumber I called went to an answering service that couldn't tell you how long a callback would take. These folks picked up the phone when I called, gave me a a same-day appointment with a 2 hour window and arrived right on time. Justin who handled my case diagnosed the issue, recommended remedy options and executed on the option I chose in an incredibly efficient and professional manner. He even responded to all my plumbing related questions and left me better equipped to manage future emergencies. Couldn't recommend them more. Best plumbers ever!

My kitchen faucet was dripping slowly, but quickly got much worse. I called Wizard plumbing as they repaired a bathroom faucet last year and I'd had a great experience with them. I placed the call about 3pm and had 2 technicians at my door by 4pm. Franco quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. Less than an hour later, my faucet was working perfectly and the kitchen was tidy. At no additional charge, Franco and his assistant even installed the soap dispenser that I had planned to fix myself. I will definitely call Wizard the next time I have a plumbing issue!

Had a Saturday morning sewer problem. The dispatcher said they would be out between 11 and one. I asked Steve M. to diagnose the problem and he recommended we change our plumbing from 3 to 4 and get rid of some 90 degree angles. He took the time to answer all my questions. Unfortunately, the toilet had to be removed to get a snake in there to flush things out. I like small local companies.
I’ve lived in a house that was built in 1947 for 10 years. So I’ve had more than a few plumbers come through for various issues during that time. A termite inspector found a leak, so I panic-called the first result on Yelp (I don’t usually do that). Wizard Plumbing came through, assessed the situation, and gave me a number of options, each with associated costs. Not one to mess around with plumbing, I went with the most extensive & labor intensive option (and I’m glad I did; see pix). Out of all the plumbers I’ve done business with over the years, Wizard Plumbing proved to be — by far — the most honest, fair, competent, experienced and thorough. In fact, if I made a Venn diagram with all of those attributes for each of the plumbers I’ve done business with, Wizard would be the only one that made a perfect circle. They’ve definitely made a customer for life.
This is my third time working with Wizard Plumbing. This review is for the last visit, where I called because for a few years I suspected the wax seal under my toilet is leaking based on a buildup of grime but no smell around the base of toilet. Miguel showed up in the windows the dispatcher had allocated me. He was professional and courteous. I showed him the issue and he agreed with my assessment, gave me a quote on the spot and said it would take 30 to 45 minutes to fix. Basically he treated it like a toilet replacement.What stood out to me is the care he took to ensure my marble floors were no scratched, the clean up he did due to five years of a slow leak. He noticed my hose from the wall to the water tank was rusty and he replaced it. He took before and after pictures that he shared with me.I love the no hassle approach with Wizard plumbing the excellent coordination and the well trained and courteous plumbers I have worked with. In the second case when I called them to work on a tankless heater, I appreciated how the plumber said that for this particular model it was out of his depth and recommended I work with another more experience plumber in their staff. This is the kind of excellent service I have come to appreciate from Wizard. Thank you Miguel for a great service.
Christian came right on time the day after we called about a leak in an outdoor pipe. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and did an estimate. Two days later he returned with the tools and pipe needed, dug out the area and efficiently repaired the leak with new pipe. Problem solved.

I was able to get an appointment within 3 days of calling during the peak of a series of storms that overwhelmed our downspout drainage system. Miquel showed up precisely on time and worked hard to open one of the 3 drain lines. After almost two hours, he was able to retrieve the auger with a tangled mess of roots wrapped around it. Not a success, but a great effort. I would recommend Wizard for their response and attention.

I have a Buisness in SSF and had 2 backed up showers which shares the same drain on a Sunday afternoon and needed someone to come out and Rooter the drains asap. Not only did they come out promptly they were super professional and did not overcharge me as other companies tried to do. John showed up at the designated time and promptly diagnosed the problem. In this case, it was a leaky toilet. As a dual flush it exceeded my plumbing skills. John tried a couple of simple fixes and fortunately one of them worked. Reversing a seal cleared up the leak for now. He noted that replacement parts for my model of toilet are hard to find, suggested I try to track one or two down in order to avoid total replacement in the future. He was kind, helpful and refused to take payment for such a minor fix. I have a new plumber For future needs!

They've replaced a water heater when it failed to produce hot water, a shower fixture that developed a leak, and a couple other jobs. I would use them again.PRIOR REVIEW: They did come out same day and they did fix the problem. But he gave me an estimate of $375, which I agreed to, but it turned out it was less than 20minutes of work. I wouldn't use them again. It’s predatory pricing.

We had water running down the street coming from our property. I called several places but Wizard could come that day from 4-6pm. Then they called back to see if they could come earlier! Of course, that would be fine! It took quite a while to locate the leak. It was a process of elimination. It was about 4:00 by the time they figured it out. Instead of returning the next day they dug in and stayed until it was finished. I was very impressed with Wizards and would recommend them to anyone! I had a leak from the cold water pipe underneath the kitchen sink. The wall was already demolished and the leak was visible. I contacted this company and the next morning Jon came. He was very courteous and did fix the leak. The job was done for about 2 hours. Some cement around the pipe had to be broken. The parts cost were no more than $20. The total cost was $750. I had no water for 2 days. And I was despaired so I paid it. But really $750??? And there were socking wet towels in the big mess of broken cement left underneath the cabinet board. So, $350 an hour? Wow, we all should own a plumbing company.

My hardwood floor was starting to buckle but I could not find the source of the water. The plumbers Manny and Isaac were exceptional and exceeded my expectations. They were on time and Manny quickly and efficiently identified the two sources of water. He was very thorough and went under the house and confirmed the problem. when PG&E turns the gas off because of a hazardous situation, you want an expert to come right away, take a look and not only knows what needs to be done but also gets started right away and while checking the system also finds other leaks, fixes everything, warps up cleans everything and is finished in no time.It's always amazing when things go exactly as expected when the unexpected happens and you're suddenly in the cold.Manny and Isaac did a great job fixing the gas line in no time and testing it.

We highly recommend Wizard Plumbing! Jon came out to our home to inspect our main sewer line which was clogged.Jon took the time to explain to us in detail what needed to be done to fix our issue. We had tree roots that had grown into the pipes.He informed us that our HOA might be responsible for payment, which proved to be true, saving us lots of $$$. They would have installed a new toilet the same day but Home Depot required a two hour notice to pick up the toilet. 🙄 But they did it the next day and took less than an hour. And didn't even leave a mess. They were not noisy at all, I have a newborn and was able to put baby to sleep without any problem while they worked in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Highly recommend this company!!!

Todd and Kyle came out today and the whole experience was fantastic. The dispatch was super responsive to start. I had a 75 gallon water heater that flooded my utility room. They sent out the two techs within hours of opening of business hours. Our situation was a bit special. Water heater two stories down and in a weird framed in closet the tank did not fit out of. They moved the washer and sink for me and left to do another job while I sawed apart the frame. That was on me for obvious reasons. I had to move electrical wiring too. The 75 gallon did not fit through the frame. Once I was complete I called and they were back in an hour. The entire new 50 gallon water heater was installed by end of business and less than 24 hours after the first discovery. It fit better. Operated better. Both techs were courteous, professional, knew exactly what they were doing as they were specific to water heaters. I will definitely call them again in any emergency. The other company called me to schedule the estimate when wizard was almost done….

Wizard Plumbing was EXCELLENT! My kitchen sink was not draining, and I had tried fixing it myself with no luck. I called Wizard and they came out within a couple of hours. Justin was incredibly nice and professional. He gave me a clear estimate of the work needed (snaking from sink all the way to the sewer line) and the cost. We had leak caused by some badly fitting pipes under our kitchen sink. I called Wizard pretty late, and they sent someone out first thing the next morning. They fixed the pipes very quickly, and with a far superior quality than the original pipes and the pricing was very fair. 10/10 would use their service again.

Great work as always! Responsive and efficient. We had our water heater replaced several years back.This time, our Sloan flushmate compatible toilet installed more than 20 years ago was found to be internally leaking with a small hole In the pressure tank. Coordinated with Gregg D. at Wizard who specializes in these systems to replace the old system with the one Sloan sent out that was covered in a lifetime warranty once I knew the delivery date. I was notified by UPS that the part would arrive on Thursday, told Wizard about that and setup the repair date for Friday. Gregg had come over previously to give an estimate and then returned on the following Friday as scheduled and under estimate. Toilet works great again.This time a different toilet needed a replacement valve since it wouldn’t stop running. They came the very next day and fixed it right away.Thanks to Wizard for friendly and reliable service at a reasonable price.

Good thingsCalled them on Sunday night to schedule a Monday appointment. Availability was great, if you have emergency, definitely a plus.Not so good thingsTechnician showed up 40 minutes late of the scheduled 2-hour window. I had to cancel more things to work with them.Cost was surprisingly high for unclogging the kitchen sink. They charged me $600 for that. I don't know if that's normal but definitely felt expensive.

The technician Sam was excellent. He came out for the estimate and detailed all the possible scenarios why our hot water heater was malfunctioning, saying that a replacement was not necessarily the case. While he was diagnosing the heater, it actually malfunctioned right in front of him. Amazing, right? So he sent us an estimate for a replacement within 20 minutes.We were able to schedule an appointment in 2 days so we were very happy. When Sam installed the new heater, was very respectful, polite and thorough. We are very pleased with Wizard Plumbing in general and more specifically with Sam. Wizard arrived with in the stated time window. The plumber was very professional. He has 4 different items to address. He reviewed each project, gave me a good understanding of the steps he was going to take, gave me an estimate of the cost and then executed each step to high quality. One particular item was a leak from on upstairs bathroom that was dropping water downstairs. We weren't able to reproduce the leak while showing him the problem but he still worked from my description, followed a root cause plan and during his work, we saw the leak. Overall I was very satisfied.

1) The work order quote was based on 3 technicians, but only 2 were dispatched.2) Technicians came over to replace our water heater, while moving the old heater they forgot to use a protective cover and damaged our door. Technicians’ response was “oops”, no apology or attempt to repair or discount on service.3) After the new water heater was installed, technician did not check for all water pressure, and it turned out kitchen faucet’s hot water pressure was low due to debris due to installation flushing. Contacted Wizard to send technician to fix, dispatcher said it will be no charge because it should be part of the installation process. However, technician came over and demanded $200 for the fix.4) After fixing the kitchen faucet, technician said the faucet is a bit loose at the base and will require a replacement soon and sure enough 2 days later, the faucet was completely loose. However, upon my own investigation, all it required was just tightening the screws underneath the sink and the faucet was solid and stabilized.My personal experience with Wizard was that the technicians didn’t go out their way to make sure things are done properly, in fact, I felt they were dishonest and tried to profit as much as they could from my family.

When we have plumbing issues wizard is our go to. They are always punctual, diagnose the problem quickly and do a great job of fixing whatever is wrong. I highly recommend them. While I agree that Wizard Plumbing does a great job for kitchens and bathroom plumbing, I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE with them when they installed a trenchless sewer pipe. I went away the week they installed it and when I came back the holes had not been filled in, they'd killed several of my bushes, had cut numerous irrigation lines, and it took WEEKS for them to complete the job. It seems their star employee had to go out of town on a family crisis and not one other worker could follow through competently on the job. They kindly gave me $250 off the price of the job, but for $8000 I feel the need to warn other consumers.
Miguel replaced drain pipes for two bathrooms, a kitchen, and installed a trap for my washing machine. This was a 73 year old house and drainage was blocked up. He was courteous, professional, and got the job done. It was a tough job being in the crawl space all day sawing off iron pipes and replacing them with PVC.
We have used Wizard in the past to put in copper pipes and for a water heater. So when our toilet was in trouble I immediately looked them up.Boy was I surprised and pleased they were open till 10 p.m. yesterday. I called and the stars aligned and Franko and Geraldo sp were available and came out right away. It was a simple snake job. Franko was very pleasant and clear in his explanations. Today 5/13/2020 - This was the best service by far for clearing my lateral drain and I’ve had this done by various plumbers at least 5 other times in the past dozen years. I’m not sure how I missed their high ratings before. The great service I received seems typical. From beginning to end, they impressed. After leaving a voicemail for another plumber yesterday that was referred to me, I had no return call for nearly 24 hours (still no return call after 30 hours). So I called Wizard based on the great reviews. A live person answered the phone, said someone would come out within 2 hours, the plumber showed up in under an hour. Very professional, informative and good communicator. He said the work would be a flat fee which was a little more than half of what I have paid before. Did the work quickly and showed me where my drain pipe was broken. I asked for estimates on repair and he quickly gave me 2 reasonable quotes based on different levels of repair. Outstanding service at a great price!

I started with a clogged toilet, but was convinced by pictures shown of rusted pipes to proceed with pipe replacement. It was a hard job involving a lot of work in the crawl space, but they stuck with it and I am glad to have it done.

The team of JR and John were an excellent help when assisting with two of our slow-draining bathroom sinks. We had to replace 100 ft of old pipes in a very tight crawl space. Mo completed the work in a day. Good work. We used Wizard for other repairs in the last few years and we are repeat customer.

I was in dire need of a plumber to clear a clog in the pipe from my garbage disposal. I inadvertently put some potato skins in it, and should not have. The disposal worked fine, but of course the pipe would not drain out and I couldn't clear it.. I called Wizard since they were nearby, and they answered my Saturday morning call! They said someone would be out between 1 and 3 pm. The plumber arrived about 12:40 and I explained my issue. He examined and gave me two different rate charges, based on what I felt would be best. Very fair, also. I made my choice and he proceeded with the task. Very professional, polite, all safety precautions taken. He not only repaired the problem, he also adjusted my water, since the cold was basically off. I now have clean pipes and both hot and cold water! Very happy and highly recommend.

Steve at Wizard plumbing truly is a wizard of the pipes. We've had him out four times for problems at different old houses ranging from small and very big. Steve is intuitive and insightful, but also thinks through multiple possibilities, then clearly and crisply explains his hypotheses, and uses the scientific method to quickly make initial tests and confirm that he has the right problem and right solution. Of the seven plumbing companies we have dealt with, Wizard plumbing is the best! We also appreciate that Wizard plumbing's appointment and billing person Tina is excellent: she promptly returns calls (even as far as we can tell on weekends) and can usually get someone out same day, and is willing to text and email with you to arrange appointment and billing.

I’ve used Wizard plumbing twice recently. The first time to install a new water heater. Kyle and José were great, and even connected a related overflow that really wasn’t part of the water heater installation, but much appreciated.The second time was for a suspected water leak. Within ~15 minutes Francisco found the issue, which really wasn’t a plumbing issue, and had a recommendation who could help fix the problem. Wizard plumbing will definitely be my plumber of choice going forward.

The company installed our water heater in 2017 so when we were unable to relight the water heater we called them. It was a Saturday but they had someone to our house in the afternoon. Unfortunately the part we needed was not in stock. Early Monday morning the part was ordered. I received a phone call explaining the situation. When the part arrived a few days later I called for the installation. The repairman was at out house that day AND 15 min before our 2:00 -4:00 window. He installed the part and had it working within 30 minutes. Everyone I spoke with was easy to deal with. All commitments were met and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Oh and to our surprise, the water heater was still under warranty so we only had to pay for labor. The service was excellent!

I began having an intermittent problem with the heating of the tank (sometimes it would heat up to the set temperature, and other times it would heat up dozen of degrees or more less than set point) and the light indicator on the electronic box that controls the gas valve was constantly in the state of indicating it was in the process of heating even when it wasn't. The water heater had been installed about 9 months earlier so I called Wizard who sent out a tech who knew how to do problem determination, who quickly id and called manufacturer (Gregg D., who did an excellent job).The manufacturer (Rheem, who I had also contacted a couple days before and was totally useless) had their standard suggestion and the next day the suspected part that shipped overnight was installed. The tech installed and quickly identified the problem as not being resolved. Rather than work through the manufacturer again (think they might even have a lower opinion of Rheem tech support as me, but that's just my subjective observation) the tech with Wizard management make quick call to replace unit at no cost to me. About 30 minutes later the installation crew showed up, and about 30 minutes later I had a new heater warming up the water.BTW; Even though Wizard installed the original Rheem it was not their recommendation. My first water heater (also a Rheem) failed late Saturday. The type/size needed was not available at local shop, and they could not get from warehouse until Monday (I suspect covid/labor disruptions many were experiencing). They offered to source a Rheem from local HD so I would not have to wait.

OMG Wizard Plumbing is the BEST. I had 2 small plumbing disasters this year that needed immediate attention. One was a garbage disposal that developed a leak so that every time I turned on the kitchen faucet, all the water leaked right out of the pipe and out onto the floor. The second one happened last night. I lifted the lever of my kitchen faucet and it broke off in my hand. I do not have a dishwasher, therefore I had to wash all of my dishes in the bathtub. Not pretty. I immediately called Wizard Plumbing & Drain, and this was at 7 pm last night. I received a call back from them this morning and as I write this now, the problem is fully solved. In both cases, the turnaround was fantastic. At this point, I have them on speed dial.

First time I've used Wizard Plumbing. I usually call a different company. But the other company had raised their prices so high over the last few years, I decided to try Wizard instead. Wizards pricing for what they did was good. The work was performed at my mothers home. She has dementia. They were able to work with her schedule. Oscar arrived earlier than the time window. He was very nice, courtious and informative. He was able to make repairs that worked with our situation. The toilet needed to be replaced. But when he tried to turn the shut off valve, the pipe fell apart in the wall. Too much rust over too many years. Because of my mothers situation, we could not open either interior or exterior walls to replace the pipe. But we were able to drill through the linolium floor (very old house) to install new pipes. He did it in a manner that she would not notice. I would definitly recommend Oscar and Wizard Plumbing. Would definitly call them out for the next plumbing issue.

A little expensive for 15 minutes of work
Third time using Wizard in the last year to help aid our aging home (built in the 50s). This time, our water heater stopped working. DUSTIN arrived within a half hour from calling (on a Sunday!) and got our water heater pilot light working again. He gave great advice on how to fix and when to consider replacing it. He also checked other issues we had on our to-do list (leaky faucet and low water pressure) and educated us on what to look out for. Once again, a great experience with Wizard. My water heater died on a weekend and Wizard was the first plumber to take my call on a Sunday. Miguel came out on time; quickly assessed that a new water heater was needed. Wizard had the forethought to know to bring a new water heater just in case since it was a long distance. I also didn’t get charged extra for weekend service like other plumbers would have. Miguel was professional and careful to not damage my floors since water heater was located inside the house. He also fixed some piping and didn’t charge extra like other plumbers would have. Overall, very happy with service. I would recommend Wizard plumbing and use them again in a heartbeat.

Majed from Wizard Plumbing did a great job! The scope of work included replacing the main water shut off valve, a leaking hose bib and 35 feet of old galvanized steel pipes with copper. He also installed a pressure regulating control valve to mitigate the high water pressure coming into the house. Majed was very polite, friendly and explained everything clearly. Called Wizard yesterday to have a kitchen sink drain unclogged, and to get that chronic problem fixed once and for all. Christian came within an hour, diagnosed the problem correctly (unlike a number of prior plumbers/rooters), and fixed it within 3 hours, including time to get parts. The price was high (drawn from a price table in their system), but I was desperate. Christian was very pleasant and conscientious, and I am very happy with the job he did.

I called in on Monday to have water heater installed they came in on Thursday and it took 2 hours. It cost $2500 for water heater + $200 for quarter turn valve installation.

called to do a tankless water descaling. ended up with no water for 2 days and a bill for nearly 800 as the valves were broken in a way that “we have never seen this kind of damage before”this prompted me to learn how to do it myself. i learned that the heater can be isolated without shutting off the main water supply which made me suspicious about how during wizard’s service they insisted on finding the main water supply.it’s possible it was just an extra precaution but it also set the stage for the broken valves (otherwise my house would be flooded since they broke the valves) and expensive replacementcan’t comment on wizard’s other services or crew members but i would recommended simply buying a $150 kit off amazon and doing the descaling flush yourself
I have used them for 10+ years. They are not the cheapest but they do very high quality work and their staff is very professional.Other jobs they have done include toilet install, other faucet installs, toilet leak repair, dryer gas line replacement, and resolving sewer plug (I will never use bamboo toilet paper again!).

We had a serious clogged pipe downstairs and we couldn’t use shower, toilet or faucet in our bathroom. I made an appointment online through wizards website and we had a plumber come out in the morning. Our clog was pretty bad, but he just stuck with it for almost 3 hours! We were impressed with the time spent and the quality work. So thankful to be able to use our bathroom again!

Really great experience. They sent a team out to install a new water heater within a few hours of my call. The workmen were both friendly and polite, did the job quickly and even looked at another pipe that I had a question about not related to this project.
We've been using Wizard Plumbing since 2015 and they are the best! Wizard has installed toilets in our house, fixed broken drain stoppers, fixed leaking faucets, and replaced our water heater. They are our go-to place for all of our plumbing needs. They are very professional and have expert knowledge in what they do. I highly recommend Wizard to anyone that is in need of a reliable, professional plumbing company that they can count on for a superb job every time.

ice making line was bitten by my cat and have plumber remove it to avoid flooding. They respond to your phone call quickly, send someone over the same day, arrive in time and fix it quick.
They came on the time they said they were coming. The plumber was very friendly and personable.
We’ve had Wizard to our house for years to take care of our plumbing needs. They have been 100% consistent in their exceptional service!

Great people, came on time for the appointment. My garbage disposal wasn’t working and in a matter of minutes the problem was fixed at no charge! I will definitely call them again if i should ever have a plumbing issue again.

11/28/22 – The original review was from a service a long time ago. Google brought that review up when it prompted me for a review for the service on 11/25. I didn't realize I could edit the review.The service on 11/25 was done very well. I got the appointment quickly (same day) and the technician showed up on time. Wizard Plumbing has been my go-to for the past few years because of their consistently reliable service and quality work.

We live in a home with only one bathroom and when the toilet is stopped up and there’s overflow from the drain outside, you want someone to come quickly. They were there within two hours of my call and found tree roots that were causing the problem. I was very pleased with their efficient service.

Issue - a Rohl shower drip. Shower hardware was at least 11yrs old (possibly older) and ha Hot/Cold dial that was not engaging (spinning). Had a replacement cartridge that came from Rohl. What Wizard did was to replace the cartridge, caulk the areoa behind the on/off dial. The cartridge didn’t work for Hot/Cold but the did clean the metal filter and got it engaging again.Time: 9am -2:15pm including a trip offsite for the Hot/Cold hardware (1 day). Shower drip got resolved so I’m happy.

The Faucets connected to my washing machine were leaking badly. I called wizard and they had someone out in an hour and a half and this was on a Saturday. Greg came out and he was very accommodating. Really a nice man I will call wizard anytime.

I had a dreadful emergency situation with pipes breaking under my house. It flooded the crawlspace, and everything from my home was draining under the house. Wizard came out within an hour, and repaired the problem. They also did a massive clean up and deodorizing as well. I've used them a few times before for random plumbing issues, and their service is always prompt, and they complete the job with no future issues. I highly recommend them.

When was the last time you called a plumbing service company for a blocked sewer line at 9 AM and they arrived 90 minutes later? I certainly expected to be told that Wizard Plumbing would schedule an appointment on Monday July 8th when I called on July 2nd. Instead I got a delightful dispatcher who said they would be there by 11 AM. Freddie and Jesus showed up and quickly determined that the sewer line was separated from the county line and needed to be dug up. Since we are in an unincorporated section of San Mateo county it took three sets of permits before the job could be started. On July 3rd they dug up our sewer line and reattached it to the county line and we had working plumbing before the 4th. Outstanding from start to finish in my book.

When a pipe started leaking through my downstairs bathroom baseboard, I called Wizard. They sent an estimator out within 2 hours. He and his assistant took loads of pictures under the house to explain what was happening and why the job would cost what it cost. I approved the estimate, and they had the whole job done within 48 hours, leaving everything neat and clean. Excellent service!

Wizard is one of our go-to plumbers in the San Mateo/Belmont area. The ladies who man the phones are always friendly and helpful, and the plumbers are always professional and prompt and most importantly, fix the problem. On this particular occasion, Francisco diagnosed the issue right away and fixed in quickly. His work was so meticulous! He was nice, upfront about what was being fixed, how much it would cost. It couldn't have been smoother. I love how they also texted and called ahead of time, which is hugely helpful as I don't live on the property, so I needed a heads up before I started driving. Great plumbers!
I highly recommend Wizard Plumbing. I texted for quote at 6:45 am and got reply by 7 am. By 7:30 am, an appointment was scheduled for a 10 am-12 pm window for the same day. At 10 am promptly, Dustin stopped by and gave me an immediate estimate and then told me he had a replacement ready to install right there on the spot (Wow!) By 11:15 am, I had a new water with the exact specs of the old water heater and warranty service to back it up. Dustin was professional and friendly and did a great job. Do not use any other plumbing outfit. Wizard is the absolute best! From the beginning of the call they met all my expectations. Extremely professional, courteous and highly qualified. I sincerely recommend Wizard plumbing and its specialist Weylen. Our experience was superb!We have a clogged kitchen sink. It was really bad. Due to overly trusting the kitchen disposal my wife occasionally would just pour the remaining dishes to the sink. It caused the draining of this sink completely clogged.We contact wizard plumbing immediately to get it fixed. Firstly they are super responsive and send out help within hours.Second their specialist Waylen is very experienced, responsible and committed.
