Waking up to a leak is not a good start to the day. I don’t have a go to plumber and when I reached out to Equity Plumbing, Troy answered the phone himself, arrived within hours and the problem was fixed and cleaned up by the time I got home. Wow! This company is top notch and a class act. Honest, the work done was great, the price was fair and they are tradespeople you just can’t find anymore. On time, called to see how everything was working when completed, and I felt like I could’ve even left them to work alone without being home. Troy was very nice, respectful accommodating, and most importantly knowledgeable about the latest technology in water heaters and plumbing. He came out immediately and had our water heater replaced within 24 hours of the call out. We had a new system replaced and we are getting hot water immediately verses the 5 min wait time we had before. I will use him for all my plumbing needs. I highly recommend.

We just have them to solve our kitchen clog, they are very on the job and very honest on the job. We were thinking a big problem on our sink clog (had another guy came before and didn't fix it) and was going to use airjet which would cost more than usual method. But after they arrived, they check and realized not need and got the problem solved woth the traditional method. Didnt went on the airjet(i am from automotive industry, and you know how the usual shop does, lol), which i am happy for their honesty and will absolutely call them again and recommend them to my friends and family for plumber problem.

Troy and Alan replaced a dishwasher line valve. Rapid and courteous response to my phone inquiry, and excellent diagnostic work and customer communication. Very courteous and professional. Recommend, and will use Equity again!

Troy was amazing and was very creative in fixing a broken shower pipe. I feared the worst but Troy was able to fix it without having to break open tile or stucco on the back wall. I would highly recommend Troy and his team.

While visiting my grandmother in Orange County California recently, her rather old water heater failed. I was able to schedule Equity Plumbing and Drain to replace the old and in with a much better - energy efficient new one. Receiving service from the Equity team was like taking a breath of fresh air after having my share of dealing with dishonest, non-punctual, and over-charging plumbing companies. Troy and John were incredibly kind, ever-so-patient to answer all of my questions, genuine, down-to-earth, punctual and honestly the list goes on of their outstanding qualities. The greatest part? They charged me HALF of what another company quoted me and even figured out how to do something that the other company said was “not possible to do”. The other company said I would need to get x, y, and z done in order to get my faucet fixed, and thus $$$ more would need to be charged. However, Troy and John found a way to get the “impossible” thing done WITHOUT having to do an additional x, y, and z. Honestly though, even if the Equity team charged me the same as the other company did, I wouldn’t have minded paying because their good character and outstanding work ethic alone would have made it worth it. Especially as a woman with an infant, I appreciated the genuine warmth that the men brought because I felt so safe and comfortable in a situation that I would usually not have felt that way in. Additionally, it was a plus that Troy responded to texts as well as to phone calls. I have never said this about any service before, but I know I won’t be calling anyone else to take care of my plumbing needs from now on. Troy and John have made me a loyal customer. My recommendation cannot be any any more highly given.

I called to get a garbage disposal put in, thought it would be a quick job. Two young very polite men showed up and this job turned out to be a real pain. A part that came with the new disposal did not fit in the sink, they took the time to find the correct part, drove to pick it up and then installed it. Great service. I could not be happier. AND....I called that morning, some nice polite fellow on the line said, we will have a truck in your area this afternoon. How great is that. I will call on them again.

We have used Equity Plumbing on a number of occasions within the past 3 years. Each time the services provided by Troy and his team have been very professional and friendly. We have not experienced any problems resulting from either Troy and his team or the work they have carried out.

We have loved Troy since we had our house addition done 15 years ago. If we need anything done he is the only one we call to work on our home now. He completely repiped our entire house, installed everything that had to do with water and also put in a tankless water heater. He is also the only one that works on my parents and my grandmas home. He is very honest and you won’t be dissatisfied.

Excellent quality service, Troy was very responsive arrived within an hour of my call out and had out hot water tank replaced within 24 hours. We now have. Instant hot water and a new plumber for our home. So glad we found Troy he is kind, respectful, diligent and efficient.

I reached out to have someone let me know why our dishwasher was spewing water out of the air gap on top of my sink and to look at the valve in one of our bathrooms.

A technician showed up promptly for our 8 am appointment and was very professional. I explained and showed him what my concerns were. He then spent about 10 minutes looking at both and then told me the following:

I don't know that you need to replace the valve and flapper, but you can if you want. However, the 8 hose that goes between the garbage disposal and air gap was bent, clogged and needs to be replaced. I asked how much and was told $450.

Can you imagine my surprise that it would cost that much to replace a $10 part in my toilet and an 8 hose that is clogged under my sink? I asked him how much for each. He told me that the air gap would be $250 which made the valve $200. Needless to say I politely told him that I would not be using their services and thanked him for his time. He was super nice and it seemed as he was used to this kind of response.

After he left I took a look at the 8 hose he said was clogged and used a hanger to clean it out. It seems it was full of rice from our dinner two nights ago and 2 minutes later I reattached it to my garbage disposal and turned on my dishwasher and the issue was gone.

So here is my question and issue. If it clearly was clogged, why wouldn't you offer a $25-50 cleaning of the 8 hose rather than telling me $250 to REPLACE the air gap or 8 hose? That is pretty shady if you ask me. It also seems your pricing is about $100 per item higher than your competition.

I really was trying to support your business because your business address shows you are in the next development from my home and I assumed you were an honest, small family owned business. Clearly that is not the case and you are just opportunists.

Hopefully others don't fall for this routine...

Troy is the most honest tradesperson I’ve ever done business with. Wish there were more people like him in the trades. He is very professional, clean, competent, and efficient. Everything you want in someone who you need to solve a household problem.

We had two sink issues. One sink’s drain stopper was jammed and another sink’s water flow completely stopped. Equity Plumbing was recommended by two friends and both said Troy and his team were great.

Troy scheduled us quickly and was able to assess our sink issues quickly. He gave his honest opinion and we decided to change out our faucets and replace the drain stopper. He kept us informed as to when the parts would arrive and when they could install it. It was done very quickly. His team was polite, tidy, punctual, kept us informed at all times. We really appreciate their work and would highly recommend them. We will definitely be giving them a call for any plumbling issues.
