California Plumbing installed a new water heater for us and they did a great job. Great in-person and digital communication. Unlike others they came to the house and gave us a written free estimate. It was easy to schedule the job and everything went according to the plan.

Insurance required us to install an automatic water shut off. I called on a Friday they came out gave us an estimate and came out the following Wednesday to install. Devan was helpful, clean, professional and got us exactly what we needed!

Absolutely the best experience I’ve had with any plumbing service and any other plumber EVER. I called California Plumbing to fix a kitchen sink that was leaking buckets from underneath the sink and had covered my whole kitchen floor with water. After the cleanup, I was constantly having to empty out containers catching the water and replacing towels to keep it “somewhat” under control. I live in an apartment, so I have to go through the (terrible) property management to resolve maintenance issues. They sent a plumber who seemed baffled by the problem and tinkered around for all of 5 minutes before getting up and telling me -in the form of a question- “uh… I think it’s fixed? Keep an eye on it.” And was out the door. He actually ended up finding a way to make the problem worse! I was not about to call him back to work on the issue as he clearly had absolutely no idea how to fix. So I did some research and, based on other very positive reviews, called California Plumbing. They had a plumber at my door within the hour!His name is Devan Elson, and not only was he a complete professional and a really nice guy; he was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what the problem was in detail so that I could better understand what was going wrong and why! On top of that, he took the time to exhaust every other possible remedies, tested them in every way possible and made absolutely sure that nothing was overlooked before he left. AND the cost for the work at the end was totally reasonable and fair! I will be calling them for any plumbing needs in the future and I cannot recommend this company enough!!

Chico showed up on time and I was announced of his arrival via text and email with his picture. He was very professional and courteous to my problem and had all the answers to fix everything in a time frame most sufficiently than I imagine possible. He even cleaned the drywall on the floor and pressure tested my home water system and tightened the packing on a hose bib outside . First Class service and a price that I can still buy Christmas presents with instead pouring it down the drain. Go with California plumbing for any and all your plumbing needs.

We had California Plumbing return to perform routine annual tankless water heater maintenance that was performed exceptionally and with patience. There was also a small amount of warranty work that was done while they were here. Hector, was attentive to detail, and insured all work was done completely and thoroughly. We are extremely satisfied, again, with California Plumbing service.

We have been putting off calling a professional for years out of fear of the cost. I have bought tools, chemicals, even a bidet to try to avoid our slow flushing drain. California plumbing was able to come out very quickly and were extremely professional and resolved our issue in under an hour. I wish I had called years ago. The rates were affordable and I’m confident the issue was properly resolved.

Robert showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable, highly professional, and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. He explained every step to me throughout the entire process and was so friendly. Robert sets the standard that all technicians should strive for everyday.

We had the valves leading to our washing machine and sink replaced because of hard water buildup (fused valves). The representative that came out from CA plumbing quoted the work to be 633 dollars and made it sound like it may be a tough job. I had no reason, as I thought, to question this quote so I went ahead and booked the work. When the plumber came out, he worked in the garage for less than 20 minutes (already removing the whole sink fixture and valve, a super simple job it turns out) and then left to grab the right valve replacements as he had accidentally brought the wrong ones. He was gone for 20 minutes and then returned to finish the job in another twenty. Overall, all the work, including the supply run, took an hour and twenty minutes with only forty minutes being actual plumbing. The work itself is a little messy, but works fine.The work was simple, the parts cheap, it was not an emergency, and I feel that the initial quote was given in bad faith. I will not work with this company again or recommend them to anyone. I'm kicking myself for hiring them.

I recently used California plumbing to repair a leak I had in my hot water pipe. Robert was very knowledgeable and professional when he came out for free on-site estimate. The final quote, professionalism and friendliness from Robert was the deciding factor on choosing this business to perform the repair. It was an easy access repair when starting the job but we ran into some issues with the line having kinks so we had to reroute the line. The cost was higher but still a decent price. The repair was completed in one day. Thanks for the help! I got hot water again and no more leaks!

Called and they were able to come within 2 hours. Great communication about arrival time. Brandon was very professional and kind, and when he left I felt great about the interaction. The repair cost me ~$300 to replace 3 different tubes which he claimed had leaks. However 2 hours after he left, the leak returned. I called a different plumber/repair company and he said it was very obviously the faucet and fixed quickly for a much lower cost. Additionally, California Plumbing referred me to a Mold company that felt like they were very obviously trying to scam me. After reading reviews of the company it was very clear they had a lift and shift scam model and I was able to cut off services with them before proceeding. Bad experience. Will not be using this company again.

I’m deeply appreciative to Hector at California Plumbing for his thorough diagnosis and efforts to fix a recurring issue with our washing machine drain pipe and kitchen sink. Every time the washing machine would hit the rinse cycle, the sink would bubble and fill up and the drain pipe from the washing machine would overflow. This would cause water to flow out onto the floor and even into the next room. He explained his diagnosis and showed me the root cause of the issue. He laid out all our options along with the cost of each and expected outcomes. He also ensured that everything was working properly and the area was cleaned before leaving. I had my garbage disposal decide to fall apart on me. Not only did it seize up, but the sink started backing up and then dirty sink water was starting to come down below. The only place that had someone available was California Plumbing. Benji showed up within the hour and gave me the honest run down. He gave me options and explained why everything happened and what I could do to both remedy the issue it happens again and some tips on how to extend the life of my garbage disposal. He got the job done quickly and definitely saved me by being available on such short notice. He was even nice enough to help me clean up the mess under the sink. It was a small drip leak from the hose bib located in the front of the house. Easy fix. At 4:30 pm on a Monday I am all set with a new washer and replacement valve as a backup. The stripped screw on the handle of the bib was a challenge so I decided to just replace the entire valve. 36 years in the military and I prepared accordingly. The house was built in 2004 and the valve joint where it connected to the copper pipe had more than a few coats of paint serving as a seizing agent. No problem I thought. I turned the valve screw a complete 360 degrees before realizing I had turned the entire copper pipe extending back into the house with it. See pics. I now went from an easy fix to a major problem as I could see that the initial small leak was the least of my problems. I turned the main water line on to assess my damage and a geiser came out from the back of the valve. Yup, even the best of plans can crash and burn. I called California Plumbing and explained the situation. Tatianna was great! She was able to get me on the first service call the following morning. I could not ask for me. She also called me right back with an answer to my question of whether I could isolate the water turn off to just the outside bibs and still keep water on throughout the house. Back east you can, but not here. Her quick response allowed me time to make alternate plans for my family of 6. The next morning Devon Elson showed up. I knew this job was going to require going into the wall space and I was concerned from experience that some plumbers can be heavy handed accessing the wall and make the hole unnecessarily large. As this was outside, I did not want to invite critters into the house so I expected to be patching up work after Devon finished his repairs. Let me tell you, this man must have been a surgeon in a prior life. He was meticulous and conservative about how he approached accessing the wall. See pics. He ensured he had the access he needed and within 90 minutes was done with the work. I was on a conference call and when I came out, I was shocked to see he had also patched up the wall and cleaned up all debris without leaving a trace that there was work done. Other than the wall requiring painting he left me good to go without my having to do any of the work I expected to be doing later that day. Devon and California Plumbing will be my forever go to on all plumbing issues going forward. If you are like me, and value quality and reflect that with your loyalty, do yourself a service and add them to your plumbing company on all future calls. You will not regret it. Devon was professional, thoughtful and efficient. I could not be happier with the service and the cost was more than far. Customer for life!

Plumbing issues are always stressful especially for us young home owners that don’t have much experience on how to deal with these problems. These guys are awesome. I was interested in a water filtration system and they Installed one at my main line to filter the whole house. They said it should last 13 to 15 years with zero maintenance. Hector did an awesome job. He removed the broken old disposal that was in since I bought the house in 1987. He installed a brand new one with all the needed new pipes under the kitchen sink. He cleaned up after he was done which amazed us because when you have people over to work at the house they always leave a disaster everywhere they go lol. But Hector didn't. He cleaned up under the kitchen sink and cleaned our floor where he had been in front of the sink.... my wife was mad because the rest of the floor she had to scrub to get as clean as the area Hector cleaned.... great job Hector. Aron the owner and his lead man Nestor with one other employee, Installed New drain line for two Bath, Kitchen, & Landry.Gas, & Water. Install two New tankless heater. Fixed leaks in exiting gas line for main house, install pressure regulator, & pressure relief tank.I found the all the work of Workman type Manor. The Price was fair and equitable. California Plumbing has all the latest equipment, and the jobwent smoothly and on time. The billing was clear, and reflected the the work that was performed. The scheduling was perform by Rachael. Rachael is the best Scheduler and billing agent, that I have ever workedwith in the plumbing industry. Aron, and my self, and Nestor went over all the details daily as the work progressed. The water lines tested with no leaks, and the drain line also tested with no leak. California Plumbing was on time with their work. After drain line test the roof was Installed. I called Californa Plumbing out this weekend for a major backup i had on my house, technition Devan did a through investiagtion of my sustem for me and told me my best option after getting my line usuable! Not only did he offer a hydro jetting service he showed me what the issue was before and after! Turns out i had a massive root intrusion in a section of pipe and he was able to give them a haircut to restore my system. I'll be using Devan for a replacment of my sewer line to fully fix this issue! Thanks again Devan! You are the best!

Had a plumbing emergency, our toilet clogged after a spicy wing challenge with friends. Called a few places and had to wait a couple days, it’s not a good idea when all your roommates are men. Looked up on yelp and you guys came up. We have been using California plumbing for years now, from small jobs to big jobs these guys can do it all. Aaron Hall the owner has a lot of experiance and well versed in plumbing code. Every time they come over I' am impressed. This time we upgraded our water heater to a tankless. We love it!! Endless hot water is amazing !! Hector came over and inspected my home pressure regulator. He tested and got a high number at around 110 psi.The plumber explained to me how high pressure can affect my whole plumbing system.We got that PRV replaced ASAP now the pressure to my home is at 65psi which is at a safe PSI. He is very knowledgeable and clean worker.

Aaron Hall came to my home, he not only fixed my shower leak, he also found mold accumulating inside the wall that would have endangered my families health, I have lots of babies. I’m commenting on the expedient and professional service received from Cal. Plumbing recently. I tried contacting the local San Diego plumbers I knew and trusted but they would be hours out before coming to my sink issue.I called CP and a nice and professional plumber came from Chula Vista within the hour! ( rare that a personal arrives when they say lol)I highly recommend California Plumbing!

My shower wasn’t releasing hot water and it was due because of a faulty dip tube. My boiler was also dealing with low pressure and i had no idea as to how to repair the issue without worsening it. I want to thank Joseph especially for helping me fix these issues in a short time. He answered all the questions I had for him (there were are few, not gonna lie haha). I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this was an excellent experience, and if anyone is in need of a good Plumbing service, these guys are it.

Lauren at California Plumbing was very helpful and after I explained the issue I was having she recommended the hydro jetting and camera inspection deal they have right now. They cleaned out my main sewer line with high pressure water and let me know what they saw after sending the camera through the pipes. Everything was clear and my pipes are in good condition. I can't say enough about the team over at California Plumbing. I'm a maintenance supervisor and every now and then we have to hire an outside contractor. These plumbers where able to diagnose and repair 3 different 6 in water main breaks at the property. But it's not just the repair work they did, Nestor and the team went out of their way to find parts not available in the San Diego county.. They understood the severity of almost 800 people without water in our building and made this made the relationship worth building in the future. They are well versed in many different plumbing situation in service and repair. The one project that sticks out for me is on my moms house. I mean it's a little late for that, seeing as how I got another company to install it, but the sentiment was appreciated. Things this company can do to avoid future negative situations: 1. If you tell the customer you are going to call them back, you call them back. Write yourself a note if you need to. 2. If there is the slightest possibility that the workload is too much for that day, tell the customer straight up that you may not get to them so they can make other arrangements. 3. If you end up fitting them in and you are going to be late for the appointment, you better have the decency to call that customer and let them know you are going to be late so that customer isn't just waiting and wondering. A LITTLE COMMUNICATION WOULD BE NICE.

Today I called California plumbing for a clogged kitchen sink. The owner came out fixed the clog, Jetter my drain, and did a camera inspection. All well under 500$ I was expecting to pay. They'll only communicate w me versus the tenant they're meeting so I'm playing middlewoman coordinating schedules, which leads to a couple of days delay.
