We had a leak we didn't know the source of pop up late last night and Sam came over early the next day to address it. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to fix the problem. Should we ever need him again, he'll be the first person we call!

Sam was punctual and very professional. He finished the job fairly quickly, but he took his time to show me some maintenance issues that were there, and how to prevent them in the future. Sam came out to replace our pedestal sink with a new vanity/sink and faucet. He was responsive, on time and professional. He was by far the best price, and I did my research. I am so glad I found him as I will be using him for any plumbing/air needs going forward and referring friends and family. He did the job, cleaned up and truly had our best interest at heart. We did a remodel on 2 master bathrooms and kitchen and found Sam through a referral. Sam was amazing! He did a great job, on time, wonderful work and reasonably priced. We needed to find parts (not an easy thing with current shortage of materials and labor), and Sam had to make several trips to our home. He was very accommodating and understanding. When we finally got the right parts, he installed tub and set back in place. Total, Sam replaced 4 bath faucets, 2 tubs, 2 showers and a kitchen sink. All work perfect and look amazing. Update: We had a leak from upstairs shower (unrelated to previous repairs) and it was dripping to downstairs ceiling. Sam arrived, found problem and fixed it in a single visit. He also recommended a drywall contractor to fix ceiling. So nice to have issue fixed and out of the way. Thank you!

Sam was sent out from my home warranty company. Once he heard I was without A/C, he came out the same day, even though he was busy. He quickly diagnosed the problem and found the part needed. Once the home warranty company approved the work, he came out again in just a couple hours! Sam definitely went above and beyond to make sure my unit was repaired ASAP! My furnace started making noise and I sent Sam a message last night, he responded right away that he’d be over at 10AM. He came and checked it out and determined the motor was going out but still seemed to be functioning and I said I’d talk to my wife to decide…sure enough the motor stopped working an hour later after he left.

Our house started to heat up and i was panicking as most ac repair companies I had heard had multiple day waits for repair and I was resigned to booking a hotel, but one message to sam and he was at my door with part in hand ready to go. He spent 2 hours in my 110 degree attic w no ventilation and when he came down we had cold air blowing out of all vents and an even quieter fan/motor than before!

I made the mistake of trying to use one of those $49.99 bait and switch ads. After the nameless plumbing company came out. I thought he was trying to get me to take out a second mortgage out, just for the repairs! Never doing that again. Then i found the Neighborhood Plumbing and Air Company. Thank god they were there. He came out and was able to find my leaks. Repair them and not rob me with a smile. They were very honest and transparent. Great News! No second mortgage. It was a fraction of the cost per the previous plumber. This will be the only plumbing company that I will use. Thank you again. Words cant express what a great experience it turned out to be.

My main drain line was overflowing every time my washer ran its spin cycle. I found Neighborhood Plumbing and Air on Yelp, and within 2 days they arrived at my house. Sam was super professional and quick. Explained the problem and what needed to be done. Fair and honest pricing too. I will use him for all of my future plumbing and air needs.

My backyard was flooding when the backflow to the pool blew out. My neighbor had a great experience with a plumber so I got his number from them. He was a knight in shining armor -- he came out that afternoon to control the problem and was back next morning to replace it. Excellent customer service and great quality of work. I needed a tankless water heater and a soft water unit . I had 3 companies come give me estimates. The two companies that I didn’t use had good reviews but were larger companies and sent employees to give the estimates. Our a/c unit went out on Thursday afternoon and with the weather heating up, we needed someone out ASAP. We contacted a few different companies but no one could get to us next day. We called Sam, and he was able to give a quote over the phone and schedule us for the next morning! We have an 11month old in our home so having someone that could come out quickly was top priority. I called Sam and sent him pictures of my house's main water valve and he gave me a quote. It was half of the price of the others and at completion he didn't raise the price from the quote he gave me. I ordered a new kitchen faucet to replace my old leaking one; as well as needing an adjustment to fix a loose bathtub faucet handle. There were several recommendations for plumbers on the Nextdoor Ahwatukee app that I decided to contact. I called the first one and they said they could schedule me for the following week. They quoted a charge for coming to the house, plus a trip fee, plus whatever the labor would be. Based on the prices they were providing me, the cost for the installation was soon going to exceed the cost of the faucet. When I called Sam, he gave me a upfront price for the total job, no hidden fees, trip fee, or extra labor charges. Plus he was able to come out to the house the same day. So I decided to hire Sam and am satisfied with the work completed. His manner was very professional, courteous, and competent. I have already recommended his plumbing skills to a neighbor of mine. Right off the bat he shared how a restoration company was not needed which made it clear to me the kind of plumber I was dealing with. Very honest with endless integrity.
Most plumbers only care about recommending a restoration company to get a referral fee which they care much more about than they ever do the plumbing job itself. Not neighborhood plumbing. Sam was out at my house and cared much more about the job he was hired for then recommending a restoration company that is only in it for the money.
Sam came out and exchanged a leaking water heater and shared exactly what we are already going to do about the pedestal that got wet. He even shared to not call a restoration company and file a claim when there is absolutely no reason for it.
Again, call 100 plumbing companies to your house and 99 of them will do everything they can to get you to file a claim with your insurance and get a restoration company out there so they can receive a referral fee. But when you call neighborhood plumbing you get honesty which you almost never see in the plumbing world.

Sam is easily accessible, friendly and prompt . I have used him several times for both plumbing needs and AC repair.
He has helped with RO installation, kitchen drain issues and has saved me $$ on AC repair.
When my AC broke, other companies have recommended completely changing the AC which would run into tens of thousands of dollars. Instead I have paid in hundreds only. One time, all it needed was a capacitor and the other time some extra coolant.

I found Sam via Yelp when I sent a request for bids. So glad I did! He came out next day and helped me with sink valves, toilet valves and a broken washing machine valve. I got myself into a bind while trying to DIY—and he even showed me how to remove my old valves in case I wanted to do the additional bathrooms myself. He was so nice and progressional I am probably done with any and all plumbing related DIY and will just call him. :-) The quotes I got I on Yelp were double what he charged me. He is more than fair, he is friendly and professional, and extremely knowledgeable as well. My water heater sprung a leak on a Friday evening and we were going out of state on vacation for a week on Monday. I normally would have bought a new one and installed myself but obviously no time. I searched Nextdoor app for recommendations and found a few people that said to contact Sam. I called and he answered right away early Saturday morning. We discussed possibility of installing a new 80 gallon - he said he could but wouldn’t be able to get one until Monday which obviously would be too late - and I forgot to mention that we were going to have a pet sitter stay at our house. He recommended a tankless hot water heater - explained all of the benefits and it made sense. And he had one in stock and could install same day! Win win! Came and was very professional - we had a dinner engagement we had to get to that evening so he said he would come back Sunday to finish up.

His truck also had an ad for ac tuneup - we scheduled right then to have him do that as well!

Where do I begin our AC unit went out thank goodness it wasn't the summertime. My wife called couple companies which needed an appointment for them to come out and Sam was the first one to respond and surveyed the problem. He told us the situation and the options. It's hard to find a honest and trustworthy person. Matter of fact a couple months back our unit had problem and a company for some reason pulled the plug outside and said we need to change the whole unit. Needed a few plumbing items completed as I prepared to list my house for sale and found Neighborhood Plumbing on Yelp, and the 5 star review is correct! Quick response and work with very reasonable estimates especially compared to all these big chain plumbing companies that will charge 2-3x the cost. Even had a second issue come up when I tried to use Lowe's to install a new toilet, but they refused to do the work saying my 1950s house and piping was too old. Sent another message to the owner, and he was here the next day to get the toilet installed very quickly with no issues

Having moved here recently my husband and I were very leery about whom we could call that would be professional and trustworthy and knowledgeable.

For some reason my toilet kept on leaking from the bottom. The first person I called to come fix it, was late and they did not repair to completely , because 2 weeks later it started to leak again. Sam is the best, most honest plumber around. Look no further. Came over Wednesday to unclog our drain, but the 27 years of accumulated grease was too tough for Sam's 100 ft snake. We needed a hydro sewer jet to unclog the pipes, and another plumbing company was quoting us $1200 for the hydro jet while making us pay them $79 for the consultation. Sam did not ask for a cent when he first came over to the house, but helped us save money by suggesting that we rent the hydro jet instead. He came back a couple days later and Sam helped my husband use the hydro jet and inserted a camera into our pipes to make sure the clog was entirely gone. He saved us almost $850 just by renting the sewer jet instead of hiring a company that charges an arm and a leg. Thanks so much, Sam!!

Sam installed a mini split in our garage which included electrical work from our breaker box to install a new outlet. Our garage is so comfortable with the new AC! My kids love the new play space in the garage in the middle of summer! He was affordable and honest! He let me know exactly what type of unit we needed and which parts were included!

I very seldom write reviews but we had an unbelievable experience with Sam at The Neighborhood Plumbing and Air. We were doing a remodel and we had another plumber install (rough out) two shower valves in our master bathroom. We then had a tile vendor tile our shower. When that was finished we called the plumber out to install the finish plumbing but could not figure out how to make it work. He suggested that we needed to add another piece to the valve and to do that, he needed to remove a bunch of the tiles we just got installed.

I got Sam's name from our interior designer and he came out the same day I called him. He quickly figured out that the plumber had installed the incorrect valve type and told me what I needed to get. Once I got the new valves, he was able to remove the old valves and install the new valves without removing any tile. I can't believe what he got don in such a small opening. He was like a magician!!!! I was also very happy with what he charged us to do the work. I would highly recommend them to any of my family or friends.

Contacted my landlord about the AC and monthly electric bill issues at my North Phoenix residence. It is mid-July and their is no relief in site. Landlord hired Sam's The Neighborhood Plumbing and Air company. Sam gave me a courtesy call days prior to schedule an arrival time and discuss my concerns. Some business give you a window, which can cut into you productive day, Sam gave me a time and when he sets a time, he is prompt. On July 20, at precisely 7:50, Sam is there for an 8:00 appointment. Sam and his assistant ran their ladder up to the roof and proceeded to do a marvelous job of unclogging the coil that badly was in need since the Nationwide Company I rent from has neglected to service my AC unit in well over a decade. Sam did it all under an hour causing less of an interference on my crazy hectic day.
Also, the filters recommended by the landlord are filters that restrict air-flow (hmmm).
Sam was very communicative and informative about AC systems and maintenance requirement's. See, someone can show up and charge 75 dollars to plug meters and others gadgets and tell you everything is ok. Maybe you need little free-on or something minor but they are not getting to the root of the problem which when you have to call that business back, it will now be 500-to -well-over- a-grand to fix what could have been prevented had the proper attention to details and true maintenance work had been done.
Sam performs a detailed and thorough job on your unit for quite a reasonable and very affordable price. Sam is my official AC repairman, and I will be recommending his business to all my family and friends.

Sam came to my parents house to fix multiple problems as they are retired and had let the house go to the wayside. He was friendly and efficient while quickly fixing all the house issues. Now they can use shower and bathroom like normal and showed me how to fix smaller problems I could handle myself. My mom is going to refer him to everyone she knows. He is also vaccinated which she wanted because had underlying health conditions.

Seriously no exaggeration. This time he fixed a drain pipe that had been fix by another plumber before. He figured out what was causing the problem vs just slapping different pipe in there. He also changed out a hose bib while he was here. He was done before I even knew it. Sam is amazing call him now

Let’s start with this if you are looking at this company and on the fence go ahead and feel at ease hiring them for any work. I have used Sam multiple times for my plumbing needs. First was a fix of a nightmare washer and dryer problem and second was an install of a broken hot water heater. Sam is super fast at responding, extremely professional, fast, wonderful work, and by far the best estimates out of anyone. Sam is a straight shooter and isn’t going to BS you when it comes to what you need. He is definitely my plumber and AC person for many years to come.

I had a leak in the slab in the water line to the refrigerator. Sam was the first person, after several plumbers had been in my home to give estimates, to immediately cap the line & test to make sure that was the issue. It was - and his pricing was fair. He turned the water back on, so I had water over the weekend! He also replaced plumbing on main valve so that it could be shut off and the drip lines for landscaping would still be on, as well as fix shut off valves on washer. He responded quickly to my first call and arrived on time to repair the work. He was very efficient and personable. He’s now in my contacts for plumbers and I highly recommend him!

We just moved from California to Arizona on Friday, 06/18/2021. The main A/C was not working properly. It was HOT! By Sunday night, I looked at yelp and referrak and found Sam. He came out on Monday, looked at the HVAC unit, ordered the part and came back out the next day by 10 AM. He replaced the part and told me to call him if there were any issues. By 3:30 PM the same day, Sam texted me to check up on the A/C unit! I've never in my life had a technician check to see how things were going! He's the best. Honest, Friendly, TIMELY!!! The plumber was great in installing new steel kitchen sink which was to be undermount. Taking out the old sink was also not straight forward. He didn't complain about additional work. Had the tools to take care of the leaks and new installation. A valve to be changed? He didn't complain. Also provide expert advise and suggestions to improve. Also connected garbage disposal, RO system and dishwasher. He also completed bathroom sink faucet changes. Overall very good service at great price. Wow! I have known Sam two years now. First, he replaced our water heater. The next year he replaced one of our AC units. He came by and replaced a circuit breaker instead of getting lunch one day.
