We are from SD but are down here in Phoenix where my husband is taking treatments for metastatic liver cancer. Somehow we lost the 2nd set of keys for our 2012 F150 pickup. Since we felt a bit on edge with only one key, I started calling around for service, price, etc for a duplicate key. When I landed upon Speedway Locksmith in my internet search, Joe answered the phone immediately (no automated answering machine with press this number blah blah blah), ascertained what I needed, checked to see that he had the key stock in his vehicle, quoted me a price, and said that he could be at my location within 5 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Since it was a hot day in Phoenix, I offered to drive my vehicle to their hopefully air-conditioned shop rather than working out in the hot sun. Joe assured me that it was no problem at all and that there was no price difference either way. So it saved me a trip and he arrived within a few minutes. He was very professional, personable, and friendly, explaining his every step. Within a short while, the job was done and we can now rest a little easier knowing that we have a back up key if needed. Joe also gave us another complimentary key that can be used to unlock the doors only (not as an ignition key). I would definitely recommend this company and Joe!

Speedway locksmith is true to their name. Fast service and highly accommodating. I would always use Speedway because they have the best prices. I had my ignition cylinders fail and Speedway got me home and had a new ignition the very next morning.

Traveling for business in my personal car instead of company truck and it was a long day and once got to the office did not go anywhere till was getting ready to leave for the day that I could not find my keys. Thinking I must have left them in it that morning and then locked it. I called and answered phone right away, gave my address and Joe was right there within minutes. He unlocked car and keys were not in it, so he was looking into the best route cost wise to get me a key and not have to purchase the chip type and just a key to get home because had another set at home. After not finding keys in it, a coworker checked with a coworker that worked out of that office if an email was sent out to all building occupants reporting that a set of keys were found, sure enough someone turned in a set. Called tech to come fix my lock latch. He proceeded to rip my trunk cover so now it’s visibly damaged and instead of taking his time to undo the plastic screws that hold the cover in he pulled them out and broke them in the process and then proceeded to tell me I can just replace them. Which is not the point, I wouldn’t have to replace them if he didn’t break them! He played around with the lock for an hour and decided he couldn’t fix it, which I wouldn’t be so angry about but he charged us $35 travel fee and $50 for “labor” for a lock he couldn’t fix and damaging my trunk cover and screws. WORST LOCKSMITH EXPERIENCE EVER! NEVER USING THEM AGAIN! Save your money. This guy sucks...
