I just called Me. Electric yesterday and they sent out a tech today. John Russo was awesome. He quickly gave me a quote and offer to do the job the same day if I want it. John was very knowledgeable and answer all my questions. I was super happy with his work and the results. Thank you John.

The pendent lights over our kitchen countertop were not properly installed by the previous owners. (Our house was a flip). The lights were actually pulling out of the ceiling and one was just dangling. We have very high ceilings (at least 12 ft high), so it wasn't something we could do ourselves. Our technician was Albert and he did a great job! Thank you, Mr Electric!

We found the electricians assigned our work, Art & Albert, to be cordial, professional and knowledgeable. They completed the scheduled work in a timely manner with minimal disruption of our day. I would use them again and would recommend Mr. Electric for your electrical needs.

They had to order the part and coordinate with APS. They kept us informed and three different days Mr Electrics guy stayed here waiting for APS. Twice they didn't show and the third time the poor Mr Electric guy was waiting 5 and a half hours for APS to do a 5 minute job. Crazy! But kudos to the patience and kindness of the Mr Electric employees!

Gerry was very professional and extremely personable. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and was a genuinely nice person. I will definitely be calling them again for future issues.

Mr. Electric, John Russo was very courteous as he enter my home, had his foot cover and mask on, we showed Mr. Electric what we needs, he gave us a quote, we're okay, he finish the job same day, clean up each job as he moved to the next. John R. is a consumate pro. As an engineer I can add circuits, pull wire and install fixtures reasonably well. However, we needed a new recessed outlet in a conspicuous region of the great room so a pristine in-wall wire run was needed and he pulled it off spectacularly. Happy wife. No dead husband. John also installed a new recep in a closet to allow us to hide some electrical equip on a closet shelf. Again, he nailed it. Looks like it's been there since new construction. Thrilled with the results.

The company installed a 7 day timer for my pool water feature. They actually sourced the timer and installed it. All works perfectly. They were on time and courteous. Have used them several times. They work on a flat rate system...

I had the great fortune to get John Russo as my electrician from Mr. Electric. My project was running a new 220 line for a hot tub. He was beyond professional and a real pleasure to work with. Just a really knowledgeable guy to talk to! From the estimate process through completion of the job, I was confident John was the best person to do the work. He tried hard to find ways to keep my price reasonable and the finished job could not have worked out better. He was on time and responsive to all of my questions. After repeated attempts to contact an electrician we had previously used and not receiving a call back, I asked a friend who has been working on her home if she had had good luck with electricians and she recommended Mr. Electric to me. When I called Mr. Electric they were able to get me on the schedule within a few days. On the day of the appointment they texted me when the electrician was on the way and Corey, the electrician, also called to give us an estimate of when he would arrive. Corey diagnosed the problem quickly, we reviewed the cost, and he not only solved our electrical issue but also gave me good information about our power usage. We would definitely use this company again; they were responsive and knowledgeable.

Working in the customer service industry myself I really appreciate the company and the techs responsiveness to my needs. The front office answering the phones were very professional and quick to reach out to multiple techs to let them know I was in a pinch to see who would respond. The tech Albert responded very quickly and was at my job site within 2 hours of my initial call. While Albert was on site he had multiple diagnoses and options for my customer. He knew what needed to be done and acted quickly to best serve me as a customer but more importantly best serve my customer. This is 100% a company I would recommend as well as use them for my business needs as well as personal electrical work. This is a 100 out of a 100 service experience for me!! Jim was great. I had a few things that needed to be done. He had a list of my items and took care of everything and left everything neat. No painting or anything needed around the repairs.

ELECTRICIAN GOOD but FORGETFUL, COMPANY DISAPPOINTING and DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK 4/2022
Mr. Electric's Richard Thomas was great fixing an outlet and made many suggestions in his lengthy safety check. However Richard left without reassembling the electrical panel, leaving the panel out of place, exposed with the electrical panel cover sticking out into our walkway. Other contractors could not get by it to work and were not comfortable fixing it. I called Mr Electric, explained the situation and asked them to return to fixed it ASAP. (They advertise 24 hr emergency service.) Mr Electric said that they could get to it late next week. After some conversation the corporation relented and sent Richard back. There was no apology for the inconvenience or time lost due to their oversight. I cannot recommend Mr. Electric.

Gerry explained all the work for correcting a circuit problem and the reasons for adjustments. Installed new outside lights also. Was very clear, patient and pleasant .

John was great when he came out for an initial call. He became more of an electrical consultant, explaining various options especially the options to best save $$.

John Russo reconfigured an outlet for us so that we could use it with a switch. He also hung two sconces for us. He's professional, polite, knowledgeable, punctual, and just all around great. I highly recommend Mr. Electric and especially John.

John Russo and Sal did an outstanding job. They were very professional and very qualified. They picked up everything after the job was complete. I would also like to say that John was very informative when he came to bid the job. He answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable going with Mr. Electric. I did not bother with getting other bids, his job quote was very reasonable. I would recommend this company. I had only one problem and that was with the office scheduler, she never returned calls and my schedule took longer than expected. But I heard that problem has been solved.

We recently moved and needed a lot of electrical work done. Our new ceilings are extremely high, so we definitely needed help installing them. John came out and gave us a quote and he was very helpful. He helped guide us as to what kinds of lights and fixtures would work, and answered our questions. He came back to hang them and he did GREAT work! One of the fixtures was totally off centered and he was able to re-hang and center it perfectly. We had Art (Arturo Tarin) out to initially quote the installation of two patio fans. He suggested some great options (adding an access panel for easy access), and ultimately we decided on Mr. Electric because of his professionalism and the communication we had during the quoting process. Our patio was not originally wired for ceiling fans and we were very pleased with the installation of the fans, the switches in the house, and the ceiling access panel. Art was very personable and friendly to talk to throughout the installation process. We have found our new electrician and electrical company!

John Russo was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The plate where our light needed to be installed was not the right plate so he made arrangements to come back as soon as he could with the right equipment and help he needed to install the large, heavy, complicated light fixture in our 15 foot ceiling. He was so helpful and we will definitely call Mr. Electric if we need help with installing light fixtures again.

Mr. Electric is awesome. Richard Thomas gave me an estimate of the work and talked through all of my questions. Their estimate was easy to understand and easy to accept. John was absolutely fantastic. He walked us through everything that was going on, explained what we would need to do if we ever wanted to change out our fixtures and repaired everything with our outlets in a timely manner. In the future if we have other electrical needs I will absolutely call Mr. Electric and request John specifically.

The service was great and everyone involved was good to work with. Prompt and got it done quickly. The costs were higher than I expected and i was charged more than 4x what a part costed to buy and install. I can see a small mark up to secure the part, and obviously there's the cost of labor but the part was $25 on Amazon and Home Depot and i was charged over $100 for it.

Other than that it was great but more expensive than it should've been.

I have used Mr. Electric several times now. Just had Art out at my house helping to install some smart switches to my ceiling fans. Service was performed perfectly and professionally. I will continue to use Mr. Electric for future work.

Art was professional, on time, and focused on customer service throughput our project. He was extremely knowledgable and passionate about his job, and I learned a lot from him! He gave me a quote, and I accepted a little later. He then gave me a call right away and fit me in for the outlet install same day! That's good stuff.

Sean and Albert were great through the entire process of installing our new generator. Starting with Sean helping us determining the right size unit without overselling us on what we didn’t need to through the installation process. Due to COVID the manufacturer had many production and shipping delays, but Sean kept us informed through out the process and helped us get a new one quickly when the original was damaged in shipment. Albert did a great, professional job on the installation and took the time to answer all my questions about operations and maintenance. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I used Mr. Electric to install and change out 4 ceiling fans in my house a few years ago. At the time I talked with 4 different companies and Mr. Electric was my hands down choice for their excellent communication skills, the demeanor of their service person, the estimate they gave me, and the above-and-beyond service they gave me, repairing AND PAINTING a wall they needed to cut into to install my living room fan.

The power line to my pool panel completely fried, making scorch marks on the ground as well as my house. I could see that this was a dangerous situation so I wanted to make sure that I got a reputable company to do to work since this was a serious safety matter. I saw Mr. Electric had the best rating here on Google so I called them out for an estimate. Arturo came out and gave me an estimate and figured it was going to take about two days to get fixed. I have to say the estimate was nearly $5000, which is quite a lot of money, but any amount to keep my family safe was worth it to me. I paid $500 extra for them to come out and start work on a Saturday and Richard and Arturo showed up on time. They worked quickly and efficiently and were able to finish the job within hours instead of days. The best part was they were able to fix everything safely and came in nearly $1000 less than the estimate. Both Arturo and Richard were extremely professional and they did a excellent job. I would highly recommend Mr. Electric for repairs or installations in and around your home.

Mr Electric was a referral from Angies List. They were very straightforward about cost and work that would need to be done. There were some changes to how the install would need to be completed due to attic access but Richard our tech let us know the problem and his solution. We could tell Richard was experienced in his job and he acted professionally throughout the entire install. We appreciate his hard work and the cleanup after the installs were complete. We will definitely use Mr Electric in the future and recommend to our family and friends!

We were quoted a price and through extreme delays on their part The price doubled and was delayed by a year. Very unsatisfactory.

Mr. Electric was contracted to us through our solar provider to upgrade our panel. They sent out Arturo and he really went above and beyond to get it done even staying late to make sure power was restored. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We would absolutely ask for him to come back for any future electrical needs.

Over the years I have used Mr. Electric on several occasions spending at least $5k on their services. The last two service calls have been a disappointment. The last time I had some recessed lighting fixtures installed, it appeared that one of the techs did not know what he was doing. They had to return later and fix their work. This most recent call I wanted them to look at a light fixture that they had installed 2 years ago that was not working. It was a LED recessed light that I had assumed was supposed to last 10 years or more. I incorrectly thought it maybe was a wiring problem instead of just a LED light kit that needed to be replaced. After about 1 minute of diagnosing the problem, the tech installed a new light (about $20 light). It took a total of about 3 minutes of work. I was charged $365. I should have spent a little more time trying to diagnose the problem and then easily replacing the light myself. However, being charged over 4x a standard service call charge for such a trivial fix is beyond disappointing. But I learned something....spend more time to diagnose problems and stop calling Mr. Electric. Obviously being a good customer means nothing to this company.

Corey from Mr. Electric was prompt, polite, and congenial. He was very nice throughout his work. He was able to confirm that we had the proper wall mounts for two of our three new fans which saved us money on the installs. The install of three new fans, including one which required a new hole be punched in our ceiling, took him a good chunk of the day, but he was pleasant and thorough throughout the process. He tested all of the fans and ensured they were operating properly. Since we'd purchased a couple fans w/remotes, he didn't need to extend our current light switches by punching a hole in our wall to add another switch. We were ecstatic that we had absolutely NO drywall repairs needed as a result. He even helped us with a quick light switch swap. He called en route like promised, and arrived on time. Corey did EXCELLENT work. THANK YOU! I'd highly recommend Mr. Electric to anyone.

AMAZING. I got 5 different companies to give me estimates, and some estimates were DOUBLE what Mr. Electric quoted me. They also had the best availability and were able to put me on the calendar quickly after the first estimate. Super transparent with their pricing and also with details on my electrician when he was on the way.

Ask for John- he was incredibly knowledgeable and so down to earth. Other electricians from other companies I got strange vibes from immediately or felt like I was constantly being sold upgrades. John felt like he was my next door neighbor coming to lend me a hand. Arturo Tarin was our electrician. He was on time and was able to help with our outlet moving needs seamlessly. He even help identified some areas in hour home that were not up to code due to some of the faults of our builder which was greatly appreciated. Overall, very pleased with the service I received from Mr. Electric. I needed a 240V, 50 amp circuit and outlet installed in my garage for a level 2 electric car charging station. Richard T. came out to provide the estimate. The quote was very reasonable and he agreed to do the work the same day, as opposed to other companies who were scheduling 1-3 weeks out. Richard was courteous, professional, prompt, and did a great job of explaining what he was going to do. Based on this experience, I would gladly recommend this company to anyone needing electric work done.

John Russo came on time. He clearly explained what he was doing and how long it would take. The work, to install 4 recessed lights and a new switch with dimmer, went just as he said it would. He cleaned up when he was done and explained to me how to repair the drywall. He even put back the bits he had to cut out so all I had to do was fill, texture and paint. I am very pleased with the result and will definitely call Mr Electric again for electrical work. This was my third time using Mr Electric and all visits have been excellent.

We called for two quotes to run conduit, install light fixtures and install outlets on our back porch. The quote from Mr Electric was almost three times less than Parker and Sons.
John Russo was our technician for both the quote and service. For both, he was on time, personable and very professional. John was excellent throughout the job and went out of his way to clean up every snipped wire and empty box. In addition, he was very conscientious of our dogs and made sure to put an obstruction in front of a hot outlet during the process to ensure our curious pups didn’t get too close. Jim was very professional and knowledgeable. He inspected my electrical panel, coordinated with ED3 and county inspector, and hooked up my new service to the meter. Everything was complete and powered up within two hours.

Art came out and worked on our house and was very nice and professional clean work honest and did a great job. We will be using this service again and will request for Art to come back out

John Russo did a great job installing our recessed lighting and under the cabinet lighting. He was punctual and did everything he said he would do, and he also took special care to clean up any mess he made, which was minimal. I highly recommend him.

When our air conditioner went out we weren't sure what happened until we checked the circuit breaker. Something went wrong and blew out the two breakers assigned to the ac unit. That's the bad news, the good news is the two breakers blew and shut the system down and didn't catch on fire so they did their job. We called Mr Electric to come take a look at the damage and give us an estimate for the repair. Our technician John was so amazing and took the time to explain everything, including the replacing of the entire circuit box. He managed to bypass the power so we could limp along for a day or two using minimal electricity because we needed to find a place for my Dad who has Parkinsons disease. He can't tolerate the heat and is bedridden. John told us he was placing us on a priority schedule and he would do anything and everything to expedite the repair/replacement. He made calls for us and got it all lined up in record timing. He had to contact SRP, his people and the City of Mesa for permits and inspections- and to our surprise he got everyone onboard to make it a smooth operation. But what really impressed us was John empathy as well as his professionalism. He gave his card and said to call him if we needed anything no matter the time. He understood the importance of time management for my Dad. He also suggested we contact the homeowners insurance to see if any of it was covered and it turned out the entire job was covered- having only the deductible to pay verses the $3k! Every person required to get the job done showed up on time if not early and had everything completed within a few hours.
Five stars doesn't even really emphasize how pleased we are with the outcome and our new personal electrician John!

I contacted Mr. Electric of Phoenix to do what, for me, was a fairly large project - upgrade power for my house from 200 to 400 amps, install a generator, install a 100-amp sub-panel in a workshop and install a 50-amp disconnect for a pool heater.

I was very pleased with their work. Sean showed up as scheduled and provided a quote for the work and set up an initial work schedule.

The electricians, Jim and John, showed up on time and worked diligently in the summer heat to upgrade the electrical panel. They then needed to crawl about 150' through the attic to get the required power cable to my workshop area where they installed the 100-amp sub-panel and requested 120 and 240V receptacles.

They also very cleanly installed the 50-amp disconnect for the electric heat pump pool heater and prepped the area where the backup generator was to be installed.

Albert came, with another electrician whose name escapes me at the moment, to install the transfer switch and necessary load management modules for the generator.

Because of the complexity of the job there was waiting for the city, the electric company and the gas company to provide their approvals through the process - a process which Mr. Electric coordinated and managed for me. As soon as necessary approvals were received, Mr. Electric was there to continue the work to its completion.

I'm very happy with the professionalism, the courtesy, the friendliness, the cleanliness and the thoroughness that Mr. Electric's team provided for this project. I'm very happy with the work that was done and feel very comfortable that it was done properly and will provide years of good service.

Highly Recommend! The electricity in our kitchen stopped working during a party on Saturday night. Mr. Electric was recommended to us. We called them Monday morning and they were at our house within an hour. John was personable, professional, and direct (which I loved). I needed some straightforward electrical work done on my home and Mr. Electric did an amazing job in making the entire process easy, quick, and worry-free. My technician, Jim Baker, was presented with a difficult problem when I needed to install an electric vehicle charging station in my garage. The breaker box is nowhere near the garage, and was already full to capacity. We were looking at cutting a lot of holes through the walls and ceiling of my home to get the power where I needed it, and a very expensive job. He could have just quoted it like that.

Instead, Jim took the time to ask smart questions, work through the problem and alternate solutions until we arrived at the right approach. In the end, he was able to repurpose an existing unused circuit, cut just two small holes in my interior drywall, and he took extra care to hide the exterior conduit. The craftsmanship is immaculate, and I have no doubt he saved me a lot of money.

On top of this, he was able to complete the job the very next business day after I first called Mr. Electric!

Every step of the way, it was clear that Jim was genuinely concerned about taking care of my home and making sure that everything would not only be working when I signed off on the job, but for years to come. I will definitely call Mr. Electric the next time I need an electrician!

Today I James Baker (Jim) from Mr. Electric come by the house to look at a breaker that kept tripping, that resulted in my external lights including the porch light, and the interior garage lights. Jim got to the house around 11am and and systemically whent through ever outlet, light switch, and light fixture involved., after about 3 and a half hours of hard work to include going into my attic the I once again had working lights on my porch along with the outlets and lights both in the garage and out of my garage. All for a low price I highly recommend Mr. Electric as a company and Jim as an electrician, I also recommend getting the advantage plan. I give Mr. Electric my highest recommendation and will definitely be using them again.

He inspected our power panel to ensure that our connections were secure. He is very competent with appx. 40 years of experience. I have used this company on various occasions. My wife and I just bought our first house, and with it inherited a whole lot of electrical problems. Each time a new issue is encountered, from 3-way switches that don't do anything, to unsafe wiring under our kitchen cabinets, we call Mr. Electric, and they are out very quickly and resolve it. By far the best experience I've had with any home service provider. From scheduling to service, the team that worked with me was excellent, friendly, and professional. Not only did I receive reminder calls, I also received a text message the morning of my appointment with an introduction to my technician Corey and a summary of experience. Corey was timely, friendly, and expedient. Another bonus was that Mr. Electric gives a two-hour window, not like most companies that give a four-hour window and often show up toward the end of that window. Corey called to let me know he was on his way, was prompt (early in that window!), answered questions, and kept me up to date on his progress. I highly recommend Mr. Electric and Corey for any electrical needs (especially for an older, historic home).

I had a very good experience with Mr. Electric, specifically John Russo and Richard Thomas. During closing on our house, we noticed that one of our two doorbells wasn't working, and asked that it be repaired. To do so, the seller snipped the wires and installed a wireless doorbell; now, we had *two* doorbell chimes in our hallway, and a battery habit!

We called Mr. Electric to see what it would take to have the system repaired. John and Richard came out to take a look, and discovered that the problem was actually very minor! They suggested that, if I felt comfortable, I might even be capable of doing the repair myself if I wanted to save myself some money. I thought that spoke very highly of their integrity and honesty, and I appreciated the suggestion.

I decided to give it a shot, and sure enough -- it now works great! I just needed to replace the chime in the hallway and the buttons on the door, and screw in a few wires. It took me roughly 20 minutes and maybe 6 screws total, and since doorbells are safe low-voltage systems, I didn't even need to turn off the breaker!

I wanted to write a review to really thank John and Richard for leveling with me and being straightforward about the problem that I actually had, instead of making it seem worse than it was in order to make a quick and easy buck.

I would definitely use Mr. Electric again in the future if I had other electrical problems, for sure!

We had a few fans to put into our 1950-built home, and a ceiling box that didn't seem to have power. Richard Thomas took a look at the existing boxes and confirmed they were fan rated. He told us that we could install them if we wanted to save some money. That helped! For the third, he quickly put in a box where we previously had none. As for the faulty box, he repaired it and put an outlet on it, as we requested. He then gave us some ideas for future work based on our vision. Richard also broke down everything he was doing to the point that I feel I have a better understanding of the wiring of our house. An expert who can break down their work into simple concepts is a rare person. Even with all of this new-found confidence, I will call them anytime we need work, because they've proven to be honest, skilled, and reliable. I've never had such a positive experience allowing a stranger to work in my home.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at my experience with Mr. Electric. From the initial contact with staff who assisted me with scheduling a service call - and the Technician, Mr. Jim Baker.

After several calls to area electrical companies, I stumbled upon Mr. Electric company and contacted them for some electrical issues at my college daughter's place; since I was out of state, I was slightly worried I was unable to be present (concerns based on past bad experiences with contractors).

However, from the initial contact with the company, staff was very friendly and came across very nice over the phone; after I set up the appointment, there was follow up/confirmation (via text) - which included the technician's profile (this was awesome and a first for me) who was scheduled to be onsite.

The technician, Mr. Jim Baker was on time and communicated with me prior to arrival and upon assessing the issues (just as the staff scheduler (I wish I got her name) had informed me). This company's communication approach is something to appreciate! Mr. Baker was very professional, and informative every key step of the process up until completion.

John Russo came to the house about a year ago to fix an issue I was having with some outlets. Turns out there was something funky about the wiring in my house, which took him some time to figure out, but he got. Said he'd never seen anything like it in 30 years. He fixed the immediate problem, but said there was a larger issue that needed updating, which would be a BIG job. He gave me a quote, but also pointers on how to deal with it. Overall just really helpful, upfront, and good at explaining things. This past week, I had a similar problem, and asked for him to come back. I was so impressed that, a year later, he remembered the house and it's weird electrical stuff, the discussions we had a year ago, even my dog. Because he didn't have to figure out the weird stuff again, he was in and out in no time with the problem fixed. Personable, professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Not sure what else I could really ask for. Very happy with the service! :)

I had Mr. Electric acquire and install a Generac whole house emergency generator powered by natural gas. I cannot say enough about how positive the experience has been. First, I should mention that delivery of the required distribution panel from Generac was significantly delayed due to COVID... but obviously that is NOT a reflection on Mr. Electric in any way. Having said that, every interaction with Mr. Electric - including every single employee involved was professional and instilled confidence. Mr. Electric was, by far, the most reasonable quote out of five companies. Our tech, John Russo, was knowledgeable, professional, and the work was quickly and well done. Bravo! I will absolutely keep Mr. Electric on my contact list for future needs!

After a no-cost quote, I hired Mr. Electric to upgrade and modernize my home. Although certainly not the least expensive in town, the technician, Sal Barreto, showed up on time each time, did what he said he would, took care of necessary permits and inspections, and performed quality work. One item was replacing the original breaker box and Sal even labeled the breakers after consulting me what to name them for my convenience. (They have a working arrangement with several companies to provide discounts if you subscribe to their plan.) Reassuring to have a company you can trust. I highly recommend their work, and should there be a need, I would gladly hire them again.

My electrician Albert was great. I needed low voltage motion sensors installed that aren’t available at HD or Lowes and I had already tried myself without success. Albert quickly diagnosed the problem, helped me find the proper sensors and then came back and did a custom install. He is a 5 star professional. The company Mr Electric is fantastic too and I will use them in the future. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that no one showed for the originally scheduled appointment. When I called, they didn’t have me on the schedule. Nonetheless, they were quite accommodating which I appreciated but still I was scheduled out a couple of days later which is an inconvenience due to my own limited time. That said , this is a quality business and I think it was a weekend call service that misfired on properly scheduling me that first time.

John Russo from Mr Electric met with us and we presented him with one large and several small projects we wanted done. He reviewed our requirements and presented us with options that we hadn't thought of for the large project. He then quoted the job, and having met with another company we knew that it was a fair price. He then scheduled the job for a couple of days later. He showed up on time, and did an excellent job. He was very personable, and we were totally comfortable with him. We observed some of his work, and it was apparent he knew exactly what he was doing. He made sure that we understood all aspects of what he was doing, and that we were happy with the work. He even called back the next day and checked to make sure that all was well. We have no reservations recommending Mr Electric to anyone needing their expertise. We will definitely use them for any future electrical work we need, and will specifically ask for him.

Mr Electric has never let me down. I had a great experience with them when I was in New Mexico and now that I'm living in the valley I went to them again and I wasn't disappointed. I called them for a quote to move my stove and microwave outlets to another wall as I was renovating my Kitchen. Albert Rehm was punctual and reviewed the work and gave me a quote the same day. When I agreed to the quote they scheduled the service and let me know that Albert would be doing the work. On the day of the service Albert called to let me know when he would arrive and as with the quote he was punctual and got right to work. After reviewing what he would be doing with me he moved both services, replaced the drywall he had to modify and cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend Mr Electric if you have work to be done. They are professional, prompt, and financially reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

We had 2 lanterns put up outside the garage and a light fixture changed to match the garage lanterns and they look absolutely gorgeous and they add to the security of our home. The office seems nice. Called me discussed my issue, said it’d be free for a quote. Tech shows up, asks me the problem, cuts me off before hearing what’s been done to quote me 368 for diagnostics and then tells me I must have misunderstood pricing. So it took three weeks to get an appointment to be told on arrival the complete opposite of what I was told when I made the appointment. That makes it hard to feel confident in using any company for service. Although my situation is complicated and I’d be fine with a diagnostic fee, the price seemed high for a diagnostic of a problem that’s been fixed and looking to verify previous theories before completing additional remodel/expansion work (which I never got to explain to the person who showed up anyways). Super disappointed this was my experience after reading all these wonderful reviews and having such a good experience with the office.

Mr. Electric always solves electric problems that others can't. I use a local handyman for basic electric issues, and there are now two times that he couldn't fix some wiring. Both times John, the Mr. Electric technician, was able to solve the problem. You guys are great!
UPDATE: We moved to a new house and John did a great job of updating and repairing our fixtures, switches, and more. I highly recommend them!

Second time I have used Mr. Electric and would recommend them. I had major storm damage and had to get my entire electrical panel and riser replaced. When i received the estimate, John @ Mr. Electrical clearly explained what needed to be fixed. All the permits and inspections were handled very well, very glad I didn't have to deal with that.

The day of the repairs John and Fazio both showed up on time and completed the work beyond my expectations. They even fixed my outside electrical outlet without even asking them. They tested every single outlet in the house and cleaned up after they completed the repairs. If you need electrical work, get these guys.

This company provides excellent customer service. I had hired them to do a light installation. John Russo did an excellent job and worked with me every step of the way to make sure it was just the way I like it. Later I had an issue with a timer that had nothing to do with their work. When I called John, he immediately came back to check his work, which everything checked out oK, and he discovered the issue was an old intermatic timer. I'm rating the Service Professional Thomas Nicolaus and not the sticker shock we experienced to have 4 cabinet lights replaced. (This, of course, does not mean we were over charged. We have not required the services of a professional electrician for many years so unaccustomed to such high fees though they may be routine and justified.) Our installer was arranged by Home Depot and the service he provided was excellent. He was prompt, courteous, friendly but professional and did fine work. Eric M is a ROCK STAR! we got great work done for a great price and in the same day. I originally called a different local electrician from a referral and they just estimated but couldn't do the work for 4-5 business days. The technicians, James and Baran were very professional. Provided, suggestions for backyard electrical to support lighting. Completed the job in time and walked me through the completed job. In addition, fixed a couple other electrical issues I had around the house. Would recommend to others.

I had Mr. Electric install a 50 amp circuit and outlet in my garage. Cory did an outstanding job making sure that the job looked good when he finished. He also looked at a problem inside the house and gave me a solution.

These guys were great! Had some electrical work done adding lines and outlets in our garage and they installed our Ring video camera. They made sure everything was done perfectly, right down to getting the matching color to paint the new conduit pipe coming out of the breaker panel. I could not be happier with the service provided by John from Mr. Electric of Phoenix. The underground pipe carrying the wires for the pool pump became corroded and the wires were shorting out. John did a great job of evaluating the situation and providing options. The price quoted was fair and he was very professional. Jim Baker came to my house to fix a couple electrical issues we have had. Everything went smoothly. He was able to troubleshoot and solve each issue quickly and explained each issue to me. A quality job at a fair price, good communication throughout.

John from Mr. Electric came back to our house today. The guy is a glutton for punishment. After coming out to bid on a new circuit for a kitchenette, we'd asked him about an outlet that wasn't working in our guest bathroom. He spent about 2 hours trying to track down the problem, everything from crawling up into the attic to using his radio frequency probes to trace wires through the wall. Eventually he conceded defeat (temporarily). Today, he came back to install the new circuit, which was done quickly and professionally. Then, he asked if we'd ever figured out the dead outlet. When we said we hadn't, he again started tracking it down, finally concluding that there was a bad wire in a wall. We asked him to fix it, but were very reluctant to have holes in our wall(!), this guy figured out a way to fix the wire without needing to put holes in the wall. Our overall experience was great with this company, they did everything we needed for less money than we expected. We will be using them for all of our future needs. (I just hope that John is still willing to come back!)

Corey from Mr. Electric did a fantastic job installing 2 pendant lights in our kitchen. He was very helpful explaining the process and left the work site of our kitchen very clean. We will use this company again if we ever have another need for an electrician.

I was swapping out a dishwasher and called Mr. Electric to check the electric set up. John from the east coast came out and advised that I have everything I need already set up. So without charging me he inspected my breaker box and told me the next couple things we should do as far as maintenance goes. I had a Level 2 EV charger installed and the technician, Corey was awesome. He was very detailed in his explanation and he walked me through the entire process. He even helped me pick out the charger that we installed after I previously purchased a black wired charger that he assured me I wouldn’t be happy with over time. The technician who came to our house did a great job. He wore booties and a mask the whole time. From a complexity perspective, installing two ceiling fans is probably not the most challenging service, but we have vaulted ceilings and the work was up on a ladder. Everything was complete in just over an hour. Very happy with the result.

Service rep inspected the site and provided options at two price points. The same person returned at the beginning of the scheduled appointment window to perform the installation, which was performed as requested. The work was satisfactory and he was careful to clean up the area when finished.

I had Mr. Electric come out to install a new 20 amp circuit for an air conditioning unit being installed in my garage. I was very impressed! I received an email letting me know who the technician would be, complete with photograph and some background information. Robert Facio did an excellent job. He was professional and courteous and explained what he was going to do. He answered my MANY questions without hesitation or making me feel dumb. I was very impressed with my technician and Mr. Electric. I will surely use them again in the future!

RL Reiff was our serviceman and was absolutely amazing! He not only fixed the main issue but was able to help us out with our pool light thats been inoperable for over 10 years in less than an hour! John Russo arrived on time and performed an excellent job fixing the mess my licensed contractor performed. He had to pull out many wires that were all spliced with no jboxes or wire nuts buried in the walls, where it left live wiring and open neutral wiring. This could have been a fatal electrical fire. It could have cost me my life and the lives of my love ones. My outlets were not working and serval flood lights due to his gross negligence and failed to use a licensed electrician which was required for my remodeling. John was very cordial, respectful and knowledgeable in his trade. I feel very safe and fortunate for him to come to my home and do an excellent job! I would highly recommend John for any future work needed in any of my homes.

My wife & I recently experienced a problem with one of our home's exterior GFCI duplex outlets (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). As it turned out, we had two (2) GFCI's on the same circuit when we only needed one (1). One unit was replaced with a regular duplex outlet leaving just one (1) GFCI to protect the circuit which is as it should be. This was tied into our pool equipment panel and protected by an internal 20amp circuit breaker. There were a few other issues as well but the primary purpose of this review is to let others know how we feel about the service that we received from Mr. Electric. Our experience was, in fact, a very good one and the electrician, Robert F., was a pleasure to work with as it turned out. He was willing to listen carefully to our description of what we had experienced and then took the time to explain the possible causes prior to his actual trouble shooting. When he saw that I took an interest in learning the basics, he also took the time to explain what he was doing & why which proved to be an extra-added benefit. Robert has been in the business for some 25 years and his skill & expertise were equaled by his attention to details as well as a genuine concern for this customer's inquisitive mind. This was, in fact, our third experience with using Mr. Electric in the same home as on two other separate occasions I had outlets & switching installed in our garage/workshop area for both our garage door opener as well as power & a switch for my workshop lighting. Our other experience was when we needed a difficult to reach ceiling fan installed which also required some work in the attic to run the wiring. I was very satisfied with Albert Rehm's work. He did an excellent job of installing a double spotlight on my house for the backyard. He had to go into the attic crawl space four or five times. It was warm this day but not extremely hot. However, I felt bad that he had to endure that heat from the attic. He was very pleasant and I would recommend his work to others.

This is the second time we have used Mr. Electric for installation of a ceiling fan, and, as well, for the installation of an exterior light fixture. While I cannot say that I am at all pleased with the manufacturer of the ceiling fan, which ceased to work within days after its ninety-day warranty ran out, I have nothing but good things to say about the work done for us by Mr. Electric's Service Professional, Mauricio Orozco. He took the time to explore all possible solutions to the difficulties we were experiencing, tried to obtain a replacement for us, and suggested what we could do when his efforts were not successful. His work was quick and efficient, he took the time to answer our questions, and was very personable, as well. The time we spent in conversation was very enjoyable! I would like to offer great thanks and respect for 2 of Mr. Electrics finest, John Russo and Robert Facio. These 2 dynamo's showed up at our home to replace our 45 year old electrical panel. What I thought would be an all day job at minimum, was completed in just under 6 hours, from power off to power on. Very impressive. In addition, John returned a few days later and pig-tailed every electrical outlet in our home with copper wire to make sure our aluminum wiring is more safe. Good work, Mr. Electric.

I was getting quotes for work and used Mr. Electric because of the electrician that came out, John Russo. They offer lower and higher compared prices to others depending on the work, but John was trustworthy, knowledgeable, and extremely caring. He just wrapped up a second job on Saturday and then texted me on Monday, his day off, to double check that our problems were resolved. Hard to find people like that.

I needed a new 240v outlet installed for an electric car charger and came across Mr. Electric. RL came out to give a quote, which was significantly less than the other quote we got from another company. He was able to do the work same day which was really convenient for our schedule. RL was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what he needed to do (to someone with no electrical knowledge). The new outlet looks great. 10/10 would recommend RL again for electrical needs!

the contractor did good work replacing several outlets and installing a dimmer switch. He noticed we were using LED lights and actually got a different part so that the dimmer would work better with those types of lights. I was doing a bathroom remodeling project and there were (2) switched and a GFI receptacle that needed to be relocated. My remodeling contractor referred me to Mr. Electric. We had a electrician on the job within 2 hours. Sal was the electrician that looked at the work and priced it quickly on his IPad. Mr. Electric was utilized to provide installation of a home security item which was electrical in nature and required programing. Corey, the Tech, doing the installation, was professional, offered excellent customer service and went the extra mile that it takes to give Mr. Electric a five star rating. Jim and Albert were awesome! Quick, clean, and courteous throughout the whole service. Honest as well- saved a few hundred bucks by advising that a few ballasts could hang on longer and not be replaced at the present time.

I called them for a quote on three separate projects. I authorized the first one, expecting Albert Rehm to set up an appointment for a later date. Instead he said he'd get the parts and be right back. He installed a 30 Amp outlet for my motorhome, and replaced a breaker that failed that morning, and I was back to work by noon. I am quite pleased and now I can run the air conditioner and refrigerator while I'm preparing for trips.

The circuit breaker for my water heater kept tripping. First electric company told me the circuit breaker was fine and to call a plumber. The plumber told me the water heater was good. Got the name of Mr. Electric and they came out. Electric 101: Check both the amperage and for loose wires on the circuit breaker. Well the first electrician did NOT tighten the wires. Tom checked everything and explained and showed me everything as he worked through the problem. He also caught a problem with the water heater that the plumber hadn't because the electricity wasn't on for the water heater. Tom was knowledgeable, thorough, polite and kept me informed about what he was doing and finding. I will call Me. Electric if I ever need help again.

I used Mr Electric a few weeks ago. I liked the service provided so I asked for a quote for additional services. I called to schedule the service and did not get a call back. I called a second time and was told someone will get back to me but no one ever did. I've moved on to a competitor.

Outstanding and professional service at an affordable price. Eight months later had Mr. Electric install a GFIC plug. Again great service. Robert did an excellent job.

Mauricio was excellent. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. The diagnostic fee of $172.45 was however far, far too high - especially since when I spoke to the woman on the phone prior to setting up the appointment she indicated that a cost estimate was free. Using different language - estimate is free but diagnostic is $172.45 feels like bait and switch on the part of the company.

Update: Was contacted by the owner. He apologized for any misunderstanding and promised to refund the $172.45.

By far the most positive experience I've ever had with any company in this space. Art was prompt, responsive, and installed a 50 amp outlet with perfection!

Mauricio fixed theoutlet on the outside of the house and now our Christmas lights are working again. He also figured out that we have an extra switch near our front door that isn't attached to any lighting. Very professional and quick.

Mr. Electric electrician Mauricio Orozco was dispatched to my home on the same day as I needed to have an electrical junction box moved so that the faucet, dishwasher, R/O system could be hooked up after we had a new granite kitchen island counter top installed. Originally we were scheduled with an electrician in 5 or 6 days washing the dishes in the bath room sink! Then we were told that the entire new counter top and sink would have to be removed to get access to the junction box. However, Mr. Orozco found a solution that only entailed cutting a hole in the counter wall and relocating the box; saving time, inconvenience, and arguing with the counter top company which made the original mistake of placing the counter top over the junction box! Mr. Orozco was courteous and competent and did not give up until he found a easier solution.

Albert Rehm was an outstanding electrical technician. He was out to implement several jobs including changing all breakers in our service, fixing outlet and lighting issues. He was very experienced and quickly diagnosed and corrected our electrical issues.
