Despite living out of town I still own a business property in Tucson. MacInnis installed a new hot water heater within days of my initial call. I and my tenants were very pleased with the service.

I continue to be so happy with MacInnis Plumbing! They were able to come out when it worked for my schedule and I got a call that they were in the way. My tech this time, Bear, was super nice and knowledgeable. I thought I knew where the leak was but he did a thorough diagnostic and found that it was a different location and therefore didn’t need to remove the toilet. He could have sold me on a new toilet but he told me ours was still in serviceable condition. He cleaned up after himself and was in his way. I couldn’t be happier.

Finally I have found an honest fair and reasonable plumbing company. Have helped my family many times. Will be loyal to the end. And it's not easy to find a company that answers the phone, comes on holidays and tells the truth as to what you need and do not need.

I was so anxious about a potential plumbing leak in my home. I called MacInnis based on Yelp reviews, and I appreciated the helpful and candid discussion with the office by phone, from the start. Service was efficient and the plumbing staff were very good about communicating and explaining what they diagnosed as the issue, and also ruling out other potential problems/issues. I appreciated that the issue they identified was not a super high cost problem, and they didn't run up any additional issues or costs. Honest and effective and respectful service!

I suspected that our tankless water heater had reached the end of its useful life...within hours Mike (Owner) came out and assessed the problem. The team (Mike, Tyler & Quinton) arrived the next morning and installed a brand new 50 gallon traditional tank heater quickly. Experienced installer, but problems when putting in water softener. Electrical problem resolved after call to boss. Had to come back due to a hose not connected causing water to spray out. Had to leave to get a splitter to fix it.

On time and a reasonable price

Neighborhood friends recommended MacInnis Plumbing to me several years ago. Recently my old electric water heater suddenly leaked snd stopped working, requiring immediate replacement. Early Monday morning caring staff at MacInnis explained available options and promptly investigated snd offered a quick date for installation of a new unit. Installation staff called to let me know when enroute, provided efficient professional service, cleaned the work area before leaving, and made sure I understood all aspects of operation for the new water heater — definitely a great response experience solving a worrisome and stressful problem.

Used MacInnis Plumbing to replace valves on my sink. I'm extremely disappointed. First of all they charged me for almost 3 hours of work, even though there was a considerable amount of idle time where the guy was just talking, walking up and down the street looking for my water meter, explaining a previous quote of theirs, measuring the water pressure, trying to start the car etc. that should not have been billed at almost $100/hour... Then he leaves behind a mess, the pop up drain was left out covered with dirt, a sprinkler box around my backyard was left unclosed where he looked for the meter. Then a few hours later I realized I had no hot water anymore in the house. Turns out the guy forgot to turn the hot water valve back on, which also indicates he never tested the sinks for any leaks after replacing the valve. They came back, turned the hot water back on, checked the faucet and it turned out the faucet would not shut off. The guy shut the valves and told me not to use that faucet and left. Then the owner Mike calls me and asked if I'm happy to have hot water again. I replied that I wasn't too happy as I really needed to use that sink/faucet... Luckily they didn't have to repair it as I was changing out sinks anyway that weekend. That was it, no more calls or apologies and a large bill. Miserable work and bad customer service. After all that hassle, breaking my faucet, charging me for a lot of work time I would have at least expected another phone call and some adjustment regarding the bill. Cannot recommend at all and will never use their services again.

MacInnis Plumbing has hands down been the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing company, and will be using them for all of my future plumbing needs.

I received a recommendation to give Mike MacInnis a call, after discovery I had a pretty significant hot water leak under my foundation, and a seized open fill valve to my hot water heater (meaning I couldn't isolate the hot water, and had to secure water to the entire house). I gave them a call, explained my situation, and got an immediate response. The next day they were out to replace the out dated gate valve so we could have running water, and was given an extremely fair quote (I called around to do some pricing).

A few days later, there was a crew there to repair the leak in my line. These guys were extremely meticulous and saved every tile they could, cut as small of an area as they could in our foundation, and it only took them a couple hours.

I cannot express how refreshing it is to be able to find a company you can not only trust to get the job done right, but also know they aren't out to price gouge you.

Go with MacInnis, you wont regret it!

I got multiple quotes on some pluming work to repair a serious leak at my house. The work needed to be done under the crawl space as well as in the walls. The MacInnis Plumbing quote was half the cost of their competitors and they were much more friendly and knowledgable throughout the process than the others as well. Highly recommended! The repair took less time than I expected and the workers went above and beyond in helping fix an adjacent minor repair while working on the original problem (at no extra charge). I will be calling them again for future pluming work!

Excellent service - have worked with me a few times now to make some unexpected/unplanned plumbing repairs (new gas meter hookup, repair/replace shower valves). Each time, the service was fast, excellent communication, and really fair prices. I hope I dont need another repair anytime soon, but I cant imagine going to anyone else after going 2 for 2 with A+ service from them.

We had MacInnis plumbing service a leaking toilet when we moved in around the end of November. The initial issue was that the toilet was leaking water. The technician informed us that the gasket between the tank and the bowel had failed and the gasket was leaking. During the repair, the technician dropped the tank of the toilet. The toilet is being replaced with an equal model, and the owner himself called to apologize and resolve the issue. Great service. Thank you.

Had to share a great experience we had with a local plumber recently. We had a challenging issue going on in the house, and based on a perfect Google rating, we called MacInnis Plumbing. Mike, the owner, stopped by to assess the situation - sort of a “needle in the haystack” circumstance. He suggested an approach which made total sense, keeping budget/cost in mind. His quote was very reasonable and he came out on New Years Eve to make an improvement that hopefully would have solved the problem. Along the way, he discovered the absolute cause of the problem and made the repair. This resulted in additional cost, but it was very reasonable and fixed the issue. I highly recommend Mike and company!

Guys were very professional, polite and knowledgable. Work done was first class. They were sympathetic to our situation of a leaking old unit and fit us into a busy schedule.

I am a property owner, and I have contacted MacInnis several times. I chose them because they received good reviews here on Google. They have an outstanding receptionist-scheduler, Chandra, who remembers past customers, and is very friendly. They always arrive on time, and communicate before they arrive. Of course, they always do a good job. They are always very clear about their pricing. They are not the cheapest plumbers in town, but not exorbitant, either. They are fair. Other plumbers may do a good job, but MacInnis consistently goes the extra mile. I find value in their personal service, communication, and reliability.

Mike was wonderful, and his team (David and George) were super professional and did a fast and great job of repiping our house. MacInnis' quote was the best, and he stuck to it - and it even included replacing the drywall they had to remove for the plumbing. They know exactly what they're doing, and I couldn't be happier! We needed to hire a plumber to remove the old water heater from our attic, run new pipes to the garage, and install a new water heater in the garage. I received a recommendation for MacInnis Plumbing from another company, Just Water Heaters, as JWH only does direct replacements (no piping.)

We received bids from four different plumbing companies for this project. Mike MacInnis impressed us from the first meeting with his knowledge and can-do attitude. He emailed us a professional, detailed estimate within 24 hours, and quoted us a fair and reasonable price.

They arrived promptly and installed our new water heater. There was a slight change of plans, as our HOA did not want us to run the pressure relief line through the front wall of our home. Mike worked to ensure that our water heater was installed safely and up to code. Mike's wife Heather coordinated the permit and scheduled the city inspector for us. The invoice was emailed to us and we could securely pay online, which was a nice convenience.

Imagine my surprise when our main plumbing stack had sprung a major leak and the water to the house had to be completely shut off for an unforeseen amount of time. It was early morning when it was discovered and I had to wait for their office to open, but, when I did make contact with them, MacInnis Plumbing was professional, courteous, empathetic and reassuring. They said there were a few gas leaks (which understandably takes precedence over a water leak) they had to respond to but that they would try to work me in as soon as possible. Within 5 1/2 hours of that phone call my pipe was fixed and the water was back on. We were ecstatic. The only down side is that the technician could not tell me the repair cost before the repair was made. However, when I did receive the invoice, I found the cost to be extremely reasonable -- especially considering it was a same day emergency repair. I have used them in the past and will use them again. It's hard to find honest tradesmen who don't want to gouge you in a situation like this. MacInnis Plumbing is one of those rare jewels of tradesmen who don't try to take advantage of you. I highly recommend them.

The epitome of professionalism and integrity. Excellent, neat work, with honest people who stand behind their work. My wife and I were amazed that we got a response and a house call on a day listed as closed. We had a leak from our toilet and I thought it was a fitting. Mike came out and said there was a crack in the tank. He took it out, procured a new one, installed it, and would not take a dime. He said he stands behind his work and apologized for our inconvenience. How can anyone beat that.
