The company is very hard to get ahold of to get a issue resolved with duct work. We had a new A/C unit installed a couple of years ago, prior to having the new unit install I replaced most of the duct work in the house. Once I replaced the duct work the the old (undersized) A/C unit worked alot better and all of the rooms stayed alot cooler. We had the new unit (4 ton Goodman) installed and it works great with the exception of 3 of the bedrooms do not stay as cold as they did with the under sized unit. The new unit was installed the end of October and wasnt used until the next summer. I have been trying to get someone out to our house to figure out what happened to the duct work that the 3 bedrooms dont stay cool. We have had a service tech out and was told that the A/C system is working properly and that he would let the owner know that someone will need to bring a hood out to check the pressuer in the different rooms. Needless to say that was over a month ago. After waiting for a week and not hearing from the company I tried calling them with no luck of getting a answer (it almost seems like my calls are being avoided) I then called from a phone that my name doesnt show up on a caller ID and got someone to answer the phone with no problem and was told that it would be looked into and I would receive a call back. Not surprising but I still havent recieved a return call (that was about a week and a half to 2 weeks ago).
The Farnsworth team was there on time, and finished the installation of a new A/C unit faster than they quoted, which was appreciated. The unit is working well. The unit was dented during delivery or installation, but they are taking care of the issue.

My AC went out and Farnsworth came out the next day. Got me quoted a fair price and installed a new AC in about 5 hours. Would recommend to anyone!
The crew of 4 that Farnsworth sent out were very polite and very professional. I can’t say enough about my AWESOME EXPERIENCE. They replaced our ac and heating unit and cleaned out our ducts/vents. They removed all remnants of the old unit and cleaned up their work area after the new install. Installation and vent cleaning took one day which was great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Farnsworth Heating and Cooling they are GREAT!!!

Farnsworth Heating, Cooling & Plumbing installed a new energy- efficient two speed 5 ton split heating/cooling system October 2021.
Farnsworth turned out to be a complete fail in servicing my AC units, and later I found out they did a poor job in installing the new unit in the first place.
During the annual A/C check late in the spring of this year, Chris the tech, indicated the new unit’s condenser was failing and should be replaced and that the new unit’s drip pan was badly rusted and not draining properly. Additionally, under the contract, the annual check is supposed to include a chemical coil cleaning which Chris failed to do, stating the chemical cleaning was not included (even though the contract does specify the chemical cleaning is part of the service). He did not have a replacement condenser in his truck and also did not have a vacuum to blow out the clogged primary drain. I asked him on his next visit to the area (they only service our area on Wednesdays) to install the replacement condenser and blow out the primary drain line. He never returned.
In the Phoenix August heat, the condenser on the unit he installed 3 years ago failed and the unit would not operate. I called for service on a Monday evening, Chris came on Wednesday and said the AC/Heater needed a software update, but that he did not have the correct phone to install the software update via Bluetooth and that he needed an IT specialist to do the software install. (I offered to use my phone to download the software, he refused the offer. I had the sense he was lazy or just did not have the training). He did not test or replace the failed condenser or try to repair or blow out the primary drain. He left after basically doing nothing.
After he left, I went on to the manufacturer’s website, located the App needed to update the system’s software and ran the update myself. It took all of 15 minutes to download the app, connect via Bluetooth and run the update.
I called the Farnsworth office several times and was told they would get back to me but never did. After my fourth call, I left a message and the Manager Joe returned my call. This is one full week after the unit failed. Joe said they just did not have the technical staff available to fulfill the terms of the service contract, and no tech available to come out until the follow week. His suggestion was to find another service company. I cancelled the three service contracts on the spot and they did refund the service contract cost.
I called a local service, Cool Breeze Heat & Air LLC, and they arranged to have their service manager come out that morning to assess the situation and perform the service. He found the system’s software up to date, found the condenser had failed but was still under warranty, and installed the replacement immediately. As part of his inspection he went into the attic to examine both AC units. The original 19 year old unit was still operating fine and within service parameters. The new unit however was another story.
The AC unit and drip pan was installed off level, so the primary drain was actually draining on an incline, forcing water to pool and cause a rust stain in the drain pan. This forced the unit to drain out of the secondary backup drain, staining the outside of the house uppermost drain outlet. He also discovered the install failed to take advantage of the unit’s built in two stage energy efficient capability such that stage 2, the high fan/high output stage was the only stage working.
Cool Breeze came back a day or two later to correct the primary drain issue and to rewire the unit to work properly.
I contacted Farnsworth and told them I expected the to do the right thing and pay for the $1,200 repair service cost to correct their faulty initial install. Not surprisingly, I’ve heard no response from Farnsworth.
Bottom line, Farnsworth provides poor, inadequate installation of new units, poor and incomplete annual service for AC/Heating systems and poor customer service.
What a great experience. I had a technician at our house within an hour of calling. Joe was honest and helpful. He replaced the part quickly and saved us so much time, money and energy! I will be calling them for all of my future heating and cooling needs.
When it comes to warranty they come with many excuses to refuse fixing the issue

The guy, Wayne, that came out was really good( he’s been here before) And almost immediately knew why the ac was making noise, he got to work and had it fixed right awa! But the ac is still making a noise that probably only I can hear!

I had a problem with the duct supplying conditioned air to the front half of the home due to a separation
between the master & guest bedrooms . We were able to locate the problem using a company that test the efficiency of ac systems, AZ ENERGY , Bernard the tech.assisting with making suggestions how to fixthe problem without bankrupting me suggested turning the air handler to up flow from a down flow and installing flex ductwork to supply the rooms with conditioned air.
The alternative would cost over $6,000 . Turning the air handler over and putting in new registers
&boots, flex ductwork, tape, pookipaste, time and a little research and cost no more than $650. I was so comfortable this summer and my bills went from an average of $265.00 a month , to $135, the work paid for itself in one season.

We really like that Farnsworth helps us keep up with our yearly mantanice. We get a call every year for that. Very friendly staff. Chris Porter is the Field Supervisor. This guy is so friendly. Chris always let's us know what they needed to to for our check ups every year. Chris came by yesterday to check up on our air conditioning. The unit sounded fun to me so he came out went up on our roof and told us what we needed.Chris was very helpful explaining what happened and what needed to mantanice. I would not have any questions about calling them at all if other issues come up. I would like to say Thank you Farnsworth.

Customer service and work promises is horrible. I do not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give them negative stars I would. I had a new AC installed in May 2022 because of Chris's recommendation because old unit would have costed me about $3,000 to maintain. I wish I would have got a second opinion. I was told that I would have 3 year semi-annual maintenance, 2 whirly birds installed at a discount and duct cleaning included. I did get whilrly birds installed at discount but that is it. I have contacted them many times concerning the duct cleaning. I never received a response. I check receipt. It was not on it. Lesson learned. Get in writing. I recently called to get fall maintenance done on new system. Office scheduled it. I received a call from Chris stating that they could not touch ac unit for a year because or warranty on unit. I also finally agreed to pay for the duct cleaning to get it done. I was given a date of Oct 10 by Chris. It was a no show. No call. No nothing. I sent several messages with no reply. Wasted day. I asked that he provide me with warranty information on unit. Still no reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Makes me wonder if they will even service maintenance after 1 year. If not, I plan on taking them to court for breach of contract. Once again. Do not use !!!!!!!
Only issue I have is that you say that you are a local (Gold Canyon) service provider, however, the plumber that showed up was from another company based in Mesa. You are local in name only.

We had Farnsworth replace one of our units March 2019. Yesterday the outdoor unit wasn't working so I contacted the owner and he had a tech (Chris) call around 12:30pm and said he would be out later in the day. Around 8pm, I finally tried to contact both Chris and the owner but no response. Bottom line, if you say you are going to be there, be there. Or at least stay in contact and keep people updated.

I have had Farnsworth out to do my yearly checkups on both my AC and Furnace. The gentleman both times was very courteous, proficient, and left everything in place when he left. There were no messes to be cleaned up at all. I also appreciated the call prior to their arrival so I knew exactly when they were going to arrive. Farnsworth has been good for me. I have a PMA with them and I like the twice a year checkups. But there have been scheduling mixups and I've waited hours past my scheduled time. It's best to call them a day or 2 before to remind them to come visit. Their guys are nice, knowledgeable. I'll buy another prepaid maintenance agreement from them when it's time.

The crew showed up when scheduled, did their work of installing a new heat pump/AC, and cleaned up afterward. The best thing is that the new unit cools the house much better than the old unit did. Starting the install at 5:30 a.m. meant the house didn't get overly warm before they had it operational.
This company is wonderful. They went above and beyond to install our new a/c system sooner than we expected and we can't thank them enough. The installers worked so hard and worked late to complete the job and were great to work with. Would absolutely recommend them as a 5-star company.

My AC was recently having major issues because of the age of the unit here in early June and the unit ended up needing to be replaced. Prior to the replacement Brandon with Farnsworth reached out to me immediately to discuss the issues and my concerns. Brandon came out the next day and did a free complete inspection of our unit and was: extremely personable, informative, thorough, and passionate about his work. Brandon took the time to develop some rapport with me and valued me not only as a human being but also as a potential customer, and earned my business.

My experience with Farnsworth was the worst!!! After finding out they installed the unit on our newly purchased home, i called them for servicing. They came right out, and checked my unit and told me it was under warranty and a service plan had been purchased by the previous owners. They told me it transferred to us. After they checked out the unit i was told it needed a new blower motor. The gentleman that came out said he would order the part and let me know. This is when it all went bad. They never called, I called and got nowhere.Then over a month later Farnsworth called me and asked if my service had been completed because they were closing out invoices. I told them NO. They said they would check into it and call me back. Well, they had said this before and never called back so I new they wouldn't call back. As of now they haven't returned to do the annual service as per the plan, or fixed my a/c. This all started in Oct.. STILL WAITING!!!!!!!

The crew did a good job . The only thing I have an issue with is they did not tell me that at start up black soot or what ever the heck it was came out of the furnace all over my daughter and grandchildren’s bed . At least tell me to cover it with plastic

Very unprofessional, I was told I would get a call back to get scheduled in but after four days of no air conditioning in this summer heat and no call back and could not get anyone to answer the phone I had finally had enough. I got confirmation that my warranty would still be good if I used another company so that's what I did and reccomend anyone else reading this does the same.

I was referred to this business from new unit AC. The company contacted me first thing the next business day. A technician, Joe C., was there within a few hours. He was very kind, informative, and helpful. I truly felt he had my best interest at play, making sure I will be set up for success. I really don't know how to get good service from these people.... They told me they were going to come fix my heat pump in the morning but didn't show until 1:15 in the afternoon - without calling first. They charged $400 for maintenance and said they had fixed it. It died again THAT DAY. I called them to ask them to come back and they said they would come the next morning. They weren't there in the morning and I went to work. I got a call in the afternoon saying they were at my house (never called, never gave a time) and wondered why I wasn't there. It is now Friday and they still won't give me an arrival time, give or take an hour. That is all I need.... Now I am considering a stop payment on my previous check until this works!
Easy to schedule next day appointment for furnace/AC check. Joe arrived on time, conducted a thorough inspection of both systems, recommended repairs in a professional, friendly manner.

My mother-in-laws experience with the Company was good. It was how it was handled by one of your workers Chris Porter. He had filled out paperwork showing a zero balance owed, so when the other workers came to do the job they told her she didn't owe anything. So a week later someone from the office called and asked her if she would like to pay over the phone and she explained that she was told she didn't owe anything. The young lady said she would go check and get back to her. Well Chris Porter called and began to tell her she owed the money and it got heated from there. He threatened her with an attorney and that they would come and take the unit back. Our family doesn't appreciate him yelling and threatening our 91 year old mother. They are professional in all aspects. Quick response, clear information, great service from knowledgeable and honest team (Joe, Bill & Bill). We now have a nice and quiet AC ready for summer. Highly recommend!

If there was a -5 stars I would rate them at that! Called, spoken to, and left multiple messages regarding our one year new unit THEY installed and 7 weeks into it still no response. We understand that summer is a busy time for A/C companies but the owner not even returning a call after we stopped into the business and his receptionist called him, spoke with him, and said he would call us back with a day is unacceptable! With no resolution or contact from this company, and after spending over $13,000, we have no choice now but to contact and retain another A/C company to research and correct the problem while initiating the process to receive some of our hard earned invested money back. Very disappointed and things would’ve been different if we would have just had the decency of a response!

Great service! I had a problem with my AC motor , the service had repaired promptly!
The team that installed our HVAC and heat pump was very professional, in time and did a great job. The air conditioning feels very good throughout our home.
I have been trying to get a hold of Joe to get a quote on service they said I needed. I have a warranty, and I'm guessing they don't want to do work they don't get paid for because I can't get them to return my calls. I paid extra (a lot) for the labor warranty. Feeling very frustrated.
My issue with Farnsworth was resolved today. Turns out it was a communication issue. I think we are good now!

Very professional and so glad I used them. They saw another problem that wasn’t in there realm of expertise and pointed it out. My AC units are out of sight out of mind. I asked if they had a person to call and they just said call this type of trade!! I was expecting a buddy operation, and that didn’t happen. So totally trustworthy from my experience!!!

Quick and knowledgeable! On the day of installation they arrived on time with two crews. They were professional and respectful. While replacing two ac units I asked if they would take a look at the way the air ducts were routed. We had two bedrooms that didn’t cool like the rest of the house. They were able to identify and correct the issue. We are so so happy with the results. Would definitely recommend.

They were contracted to install my new ac unit. They did a great job. Originally, the unit did have some issues, manufacturers defect. So they came back a few times untill the issues was resolved. Now my new AC is running awesome and hopefully this new unit will give me a big savings on my electric bill.

System was installed by Farnsworth. System was not routed correctly and leaked onto the ceiling. Ceiling drywall and insulation fell on the carpet. They didn't route the drain line into the new system. After they fixed the drain line the AC unit fell and caused more damaged not only to the drywall but the air handler itself and they refuse to fix it making excuses left and right. Reviewed the installation and there were broken straps, bottles of Gatorade left and the worst part is that the rigged my new plenum I purchased to fit the ducting. Half the ducting was hanging off the plenum and the planum replaced was said to be bigger but was almost 1/2 the size of my old one. Had to call the ROC and still in the process of getting it 100%. Don't call this company. Spend the extra $200-500 and get someone who cares and does it right the first time and not 30 trips later and still haven't been able to get the job done. Completely brand new replacement ... what a poor joke.

they where fast and professional I'm currently over seas and its hard to get anything fixed while I'm gone...my wife informed me the AC wasn't blowing cold Air and anyone who lives in AZ knows thats a nightmare in the summer.. so i called them up to fix my AC gave them my wife's number they got in contact with her and with in a few hours they where out knocking on the door and with in a few minutes it was fixed my wife and son where very thankful for the speedy service.

I was never so happy to have somebody come to my house at 6 o'clock in the morning to start doing some work!
I promised these guys I would write them a great review! We were scheduled for a new HVAC system to be installed in October with fingers crossed! However our AC went out the day we got back from a vacation which was Sunday. Monday AM, the next day the guys from Farnsworth came out and attempted to charge the old system to see if it would get us by until October. They didn't charge us for this!
When it didn't work, they came back with portable AC units to get us through until they could put us up on the schedule for the following Wednesday.
They showed up when they said they would, they got the work done in an amazingly short amount of time, they cleaned up after themselves!
They also improved the ducting system in part of our house and they were not wrong in promoting the unit that we bought from them. It's quieter, it cools more efficiently. Our electrical bill has already dropped because we now have a more energy efficient unit.
Of all the companies that came out to give us estimates they were the most professional and incidentally, the best price!

I had them originally install my system and it failed less than two years later and the repairman got the manufacturer to give me a whole new condensor assembly and installed it the next morning. So far so good, I only hope this one holds up better than the last one. As far as the service I received, I would recommend them to my friends.

They did great at cleaning our ducts & vents. Only thing that was a pain was communication. It was hard to get a response back most of the time but they did great taking care of our vents and being sure they cleaned up afterwards!
Very impressed with their timeliness, honesty, and professionalism . If I could give 10 stars I would. I would recommend them to anyone. I will continue to use them for all of my heating and cooling needs.

Appreciate the quick scheduling and the tech was in time. He was courteous and professional and suggested a few changes to make our units more efficient. He wasn't pushy on upselling us, did his job quickly and left things clean.

We bought our new AC unit online as our old one was on borrowed time. It was backordered but we didn’t mind as the old one still was working. The team that assisted us was great about keeping us up to date about when to expect the unit to arrive and any other issues or concerns as they came up. When the unit was ready a team of two came and did the install. They were both professional, friendly and did a great job! We love our new unit and would definitely refer them to others!

I agree with a few other posts...good, reliable service...is a mystery to these people.... ( and many other companies in the service industry) trying to service too many customers with a skeleton crew. They were able to install a whole new unit last year quickly, with a return call because the drip pan drain line was plugged up. I question the educational level/ technical ability of the service technicians they employ. Look for a different company for your A/C needs.

A.C. went out on Monday Joe Farnsworth Jr. and his air conditioning technicians were out on Tuesday to give an assesment. The diagnostic was detailed on the equiptment. I needed a new A.C. system. I received three different quotes detailing my options. Therefore making me feel like I was not being played. I am a firm believer in integrity. The install crew treated my house and family with respect.
These guys were very professional, friendly and fast. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

They ended up talking me through it on the phone and helping me figure out my mistakes without needing a visit. Absolutely amazing customer service, and they know what they're doing!

I had a great experience. The owner showed up on Monday and did the measurements. He suggested several upgrades to my 22 year old system. I chose to do the upgrades he didn't force or tell me I had to get them. Tuesday, The employees were on time and very professional. They worked hard and had the AC on and running by noon. Customer service and work promises is horrible. I do not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give them negative stars I would. I had a new AC installed in May 2022 because of Chris's recommendation because old unit would have costed me about $3,000 to maintain. I wish I would have got a second opinion. I was told that I would have 3 year semi-annual maintenance, 2 whirly birds installed at a discount and duct cleaning included. I did get whilrly birds installed at discount but that is it. I have contacted them many times concerning the duct cleaning. I never received a response. I check receipt. It was not on it. Lesson learned. Get in writing. I recently called to get fall maintenance done on new system. Office scheduled it. I received a call from Chris stating that they could not touch ac unit for a year because or warranty on unit. I also finally agreed to pay for the duct cleaning to get it done. I was given a date of Oct 10 by Chris. It was a no show. No call. No nothing. I sent several messages with no reply. Wasted day. I asked that he provide me with warranty information on unit. Still no reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Makes me wonder if they will even service maintenance after 1 year. If not, I plan on taking them to court for breach of contract. Once again. Do not use !!!!!
Service was impeccable. On time or called ahead to advise of new ETA never rescheduled to a different day. Explained how the damage was caused, and repaired only what was needed. I got the maintenance package when I replaced heating and AC and they have reached out to me and conducted service before each season change. They use new equipment to test and maintain quality

We had a tough issue with a remodel and these guys figured it out and made it happen. Really appreciate working with people who take ownership and get things done.
Solar provider arranged for a tech to install new thermostats. While he was here he told me my AC unit had no Freon left. I had my usual tech come by to check it out and they confirmed the system was fine and no service was needed. Edit: Just because it wasn’t on the invoice doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Why would I make this up?
They were quick and professional! Had my full HVAC cooling and heating installed along with new unit installation. They were done in less than 5 hours!
