I recently contracted with Express to repair and replace the roof on my 36 year old home. Contacted Jenna about the needed service, The next day she had the inspector, Jeremy come out and review the required service. Jenna then contacted me with a price quote I thought was very reasonable. Upon our agreement she passed along the workorder to Rene the owner for scheduling. Within two weeks my home had a new roof. The materials and installation were of top quality. The installation from material delivery to final installation and cleanup encompassed only three days. The area was always kept clean of debris. In our modern environment of poor customer service and mediocre quality control it is good to see a company like Express roofing. They are a family owned business that take pride in their company's image and quality of service. Thank you Jenna, Rene and Jeremy. JOB WELL DONE

This is the second house that I have used Express roofing on. They did a very large job, installing new underlayment. They are a family business. Dad overseas operations, the daughter runs the office, and the Son is out doing estimates. They are very responsive, highly communicative, and deliver exceptional service, keeping you informed every step of the way, even including drone videos of the work. I initially used them the first time based on their good reviews. I found their price to be very competitive, and the quality of their work excellent. Using them the second time I have again been nothing but satisfied. When they did their estimate, they were able to give me some video footage, so I could better understand exactly what was going on with the roof. The crew was hardworking and very polite. I would not hesitate to use Express Roofing again, and highly recommended them.

recently contracted with Express Roofing to replace my roof in Cave Creek. I needed the roof replace to meet my contractual agreement in order to sell my home. The company did an outstanding job and on so many levels; let me explain. When I initially called Express Roofing I spoke with Jenna, who is the owner’s daughter. The company is family owned and takes extreme pride in the work that they do. Jenna was courteous, friendly but more importantly extremely efficient and helped me through the process from beginning to end. There was never a time that I called and could not get Jenna to answer, call back, or act immediately on my concern. It is so refreshing and so helpful when you have people like Jenna to work with. You simply feel like you dealing with real people, who care about your job, and not just “shouting into the wind.”
The initial analysis for my roof was done by Jeremy, the son of the owner. He came to my house and did estimate for my roof and gave me a fair price bid (It was quite in line with other bid I had gotten to date). I asked him however to go out to the house a second time and do a video for me of the roof itself because I was a little circumspect about the extent of repair needed. Jeremy traveled 40 minutes to get to my home a second time and took that video. He was extremely helpful in explaining to me what was needed and what was not. In addition, I needed to press the company to get the job done in a few days and all during the intense heat (116°) of Arizona. It is so difficult for a crew to work in this heat especially on into the afternoon but that’s what I needed to meet my stringent time frame. This is exactly what they did, I was amazed. Roofer today usually work until one in Arizona because of the intense mid-day heat. They carried on until 3pm and one day until 5pm just to accommodate my need to get the job done. The work that they did was over and above my expectation. They not only did a great job but in so many other ways, like providing 150 extra tiles, at no cost to me. Using the finest quality products their foreman, whose name was Norman and a 13-year roofing veteran, got the job done in time for me. This proved to be crucial to my effort to sell my home. In the end I needed additional help from the owner of Express Roofing, Rene. They had done an excellent job for me and they did it in the time frame that I needed it done however the new homebuyers had some critical questions that needed to be answered by a roofing expert. The entire sale of the home may have been jeopardized if I could not provide my buyers the answers they were looking for. Rene canceled all his appointments for the day to come out and see my new buyers. He spoke to them in extremely professional manner and assuage any fears that they had about the Home and the roofing job that was recently completed. From start to finish there is no better roofing company in the valley if you’re looking for someone to replace or repair your roof . These guys are the greatest! We just had them do a total reroof and makeover of our fascia board. We picked Express Roofing from a total of 10 companies who bid on our project and we could not be more pleased. Going the extra mile is what makes Rene and his crew stand out. We had a couple of bumps in the road with some unexpected work that needed done (replacing rotted out skylights) and this is where their professionalism really stood out. Searching for a roofing company in AZ can be a challenge. The family at Express Roofing made it very easy. Jenna was great from the very first call. She answered all our questions and I had a lot of them. She detailed the process that they would go through and was very open to receiving calls or emails through the whole process.

Jeremy then came out to our house and jumped up on the roof and gave us a very detailed report and that included a great video of our roof. He was able to answer all the questions we had about some specific issues with our roof. Then Express Roofing sent a detailed report of what the job would require and cost. It was easy to read and understand.

After making the choice to go with the Express Roofing Family the contractors came out explained how they would approach the job and work around our house. They were fantastic as they worked on the roof. They were respectful with the time they arrived and cleaned up up after each of work.

Rene came each day and checked on the progress of the job. On the last day talked to us about it about the roof and some the specific things we wanted with the job. TL;DR Express Roofing is the best contractor I have ever worked with.
The home improvement industry is full of people ready to overcharge and scam you, it’s unfortunately a fact. It’s the industry that has the highest number of unsatisfied customers, and we quickly learned why. We’ve had contractors not show up for weeks at a time, we’ve had contractors attempt to scam us out of over $10K of insurance money just because they knew how much we received from our insurance company, and we even had a company try to pressure us into a new roof that would’ve cost $40,000 (for our 1200sq/ft home).
Enter: Express Roofing. We got 5 different roofing quotes when it was time to focus on that aspect of our home. Every other quote was reasonable, and the companies seemed reputable. But Jeremy from Express Roofing offered something different from the rest. Not only was he not a salesmen looking to earn a commission if we signed right away, but he was representing his own personal family business. His father Rene is the owner of the company, and Jenna, who I believe is Jeremy’s sister, handles the office work and was the one who provided the estimate documents and scheduling. We decided to go with Express Roofing because of the fact that they are a small, local, family owned business and have been for many years. It also helped that their quote was very reasonable, and they could start the project quicker than anyone else.
They gave us an estimate of when the project would start, and it lined up perfectly with when we expected to get financing from our bank. However, we received a call about 3 weeks before our estimated project start date letting us know that they can actually start ahead of schedule. Normally that would be great, but we knew our financing wouldn’t be ready until after they had completed. I spoke with Rene and he said it’s okay if we waited until after the work was done to pay. Their crew (non-subcontractors which is very important), completed the project in 3-4 days. They were the most polite crew that we have ever had work on our home, which is saying a lot when you consider how disruptive a new roof can be to the people living inside of the home. Roofing is also a very messy process. However, if you walked around our yard after they had cleaned up, you would have never known they were even there in the first place. Not only that, but I came outside at one point and saw that one of the workers was repairing loose boards on our back gate – something that was already broken when they arrived! The new roof looked perfect, and the crew did an amazing job on every single aspect.
This is when we ran into an issue. We found out that due to our bank being understaffed, our financing was being delayed. I quickly updated Jeremy and we agreed on paying half now, and half in about a week when the bank finished processing the loan. A week goes by, and the bank still isn’t done. I know how much of a problem this is because Express Roofing needs the money to pay their workers and pay for the materials. We fully expected to be sent to collections due to our delay in payment, but right away Rene contacted me. He told us that he built his company on understanding, and if they are a blessing to each of their customers surely it will come back around and allow his business to prosper. He said they are okay with waiting a little bit longer until the bank is able to finish the loan processing.
If that doesn’t convince you to hire Express Roofing for anything you might need, I don’t know what will. They are a living embodiment of the ever dwindling American Dream. A family run business that is more concerned with treating their customers the right way than they are making as much money as they can. I’m sure I don’t have to draw a distinction at this point, but that is something that you will never, ever find when dealing with any kind of corporation. The home improvement world did its best to ruin my family’s excitement about our small fixer-upper, but Express Roofing repaired that damage overnight.

Rene, Jeremy, Jenna and their crew were all wonderful to work with. Jeremy's estimate process included videos and photos of the current condition of our roof. He took the time to explain the details of their process. The estimate was clearly laid out and very thorough, and competitively priced. There were no hidden charges or fees, and they even gave us a credit for unused materials that were included in the estimate. The roofing team were such a pleasure to work with. Given the nature of how messy this job can be, they worked to ensure that our yard and pool were protected and cleaned up at the end of each day. They took the time to answer questions as the project unfolded. Rene came out each day and took video footage with a drone to give us status on their progress, and even the final project completion. That was extremely helpful and unique to this company. They take ownership of the roof after the job and if we have any other contractors on the roof for any reason Express will come back out and check the condition of the roof as part of their warranty coverage.

We have used Express Roofing on two homes now and are extremely satisfied! Our most recent home was in Scottsdale and had a 30-year old roof; we knew purchasing it we would be proactive and just have the roof replaced. Express Roofing came out and as per normal did an extensive inspection and provided us a detailed report of what was found and multiple options for our new roof. They weren't the cheapest but are extremely competitive to other quotes, yet they offered superior materials and much more in-depth work.

Express roofing did a great job when I replaced my roof this spring. Everything went smoothly from the quote until finish. I had trouble making up my mind on what color shingles to go with & they dropped off color samples for me as well as sending me links to photos of actual houses that used the same ones. I was very impressed at the quality of the work. They go beyond the minimum standards and explained in detail every process. They use a drone & send you actual footage of your roof before, during & after! The cost was fair & I think I got extra value in the quality of work done. We called multiple companies to determine if we needed a roof repair. Express Roofing came to our home and provided the most detailed explanation of our roof issues/concerns. The company is family owned, and you can tell from the minute you call to set-up a free estimate. The owner and his son came to our home and provided the estimate. They took video and still shots of our roof and provided both to us, so we could better understand the areas of concern with our roof. I was asked to give a honest and detailed review of our experience with Express Roofing.
Overall our experience was a good one. We needed to have the underlay on our tile roof replaced and our large patio roof redone.
This for us was a large undertaking and proved to be more involved than we expected.
We began with getting bids from 4 different contractors and were surprised by the various materials quoted and the difference in cost.
Most of the bids contained significant exceptions and loop holes that allowed the companies to use subcontractors or different materials.
The warranties varied significantly or were not even included in the quotes.
I was surprised at the lack of specific details or knowledge of many of the people provided quotes for large roofing contractors.

Express Roofing was quite different. They provided a detailed explanation of the work to be done and the materials to be used.
A very detailed explanation was given for our patio roof with pictures of how they reroofed flat roofs.
In addition, suggestions were given for improved ventilation of our attic.
Their warranty is very straight forward and longer than most of the bids we obtained.

As with any large construction process there were times where we had specific questions or didn’t think something was done correctly.
We were pleased that in each of these situations the people at Express Roofing explained what was going on and in several cases replaced or redid something we didn’t like.
Although they really attempted to maintain a clean zone around our house it could have been better. Yet I doubt any company would meet our standards for cleanliness.

And, during the actual installation process, we were always kept informed and even received daily updates by way of YouTube videos of our job shot using a drone to fly overhead. Express Roofing did a great job on my roof installation. There are a lot of choices when it comes to choosing a company for the job. I got many estimates and I'm happy with the job they did. I'm confident I chose the right company to do my roof. They pay attention to detail and did things the right way.

Our overall experience with Express Roofing has been great and very satisfying. During our initial search for a roofing contractor Express Roofing came across as one of the few companies that had outstanding reviews across the board on all major review sites namely yelp, google and BBB. There were companies that had great reviews on one but not so good on others. While gathering quotes from 4-5 companies, Express Roofing in terms of quoted price was the second best but by a small margin. What really caught our attention was their communication and ability to nicely explain how they offered the complete package which is best quality materials and best quality workmanship. Their owner Rene is a fantastic person and his mannerism definitely reflected the integrity and best quality service that they always strive to offer to their customers. There was also a lot of willingness to do the job for us. Their quote ended up being the best in terms of warranty, materials and the extent of desirable features like number of ventilators and roofing accessories. And all that good stuff with a very competitive pricing. At that point we were convinced that we are getting the best deal. As expected the actual re-roofing work went smoothly and final finished roof looked nothing less than phenomenal. All along that project that spanned for 4 days, we were updated on a daily basis with aerial videos of the roof along with Rene’s commentary explaining all the work that was happening on the roof. This level of communication was indeed very helpful. In summary I can say without any hesitation that honesty, quality, competitive prices and excellent communication is the hallmark of this company and that is perhaps the reason why they have excellent reviews all across the board. We solicited four quotes from different valley roofers. All quotes were within $300.00 of each other. We went with Express Roofing. What the other three proposed contracts offered differed immensely. Anything extra cost an arm and a leg, making our decision easy. Rene went over everything, ensuring us what would be done (which included a lot of extras that the other companies offered at an additional cost or just didn't offer.) I called 3 different roofing companies to give me a quote for my project. Express Roofing had someone out within a couple of days. Along with their quote they provided me pictures of my roof. They were the only company that did this. All three quotes were very comparable in price except Express Roofing added additional features such as replacing my skylight, replacing the turbines, etc. Everyone was friendly and professional and kept in continual contact with me. During the project they sent pictures of their progress and even sent a video that they had taken with a drone. (That was neat to watch). getting a new roof is a scary prospect - not just because of the money involved, but also because of the impact a bad contractor can have on your home. I did a bunch a research and obtained three estimates from the resulting list. I chose Express Roofing because of the way they differentiated themselves from the rest. All bids were about the same, but these folks addressed attic venting, plywood repair, and painting differently from the others. Please DO NOT hesitate to use them, or at least obtain a quote/inspection and see if you don't find the same things. They did the job quickly, professionally, and cleaned up EVERY day after work. The owner even came out a couple of times to make sure things were going well from my perspective and to answer any questions.

Express Roofing did a superb job on our 2100 square foot home and completed it in 3 1/2 days!!! Rene, Jeff, and their crew were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. They arrived when they said they would; worked very hard; answered all of our questions,; and cleaned up at the end of the day. Pricing was very fair. We took five bids and their bid was in the middle. We could easily recommend them to anyone who asks our opinion. Overall they made what could have been a painful project into a pleasant experience.

My wife and I received 4 or so quotes to have our roof redone. We had some quotes off the charts high and some low enough that we questioned. With Express Roofing, they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. However, we felt good with the price of the bid as it came with education of the materials that they use and how they back their products and why. Express Roofing, LLC is fantastic. About 6 years ago, I had them replace my roof on a rental house after a hail storm and they did an amazingly thorough job. Rene, Jeff, and the rest of the team did such a great job that I had them come to my primary residence and replace my flat roof just a few weeks ago. They did not change one bit and did not disappoint. They were again very thorough, clean, and quick. I was even sent links of the progress along the way and a video at the end showing the final results. I cannot recommend Express Roofing, LLC enough!

I'm writing this review to acknowledge the great job that Jeff, and Express Roofing did for me. First off, Rene the estimator that came out was very knowledgeable with many years in the business and we talked at length about all the aspects of the job. I have done contracting and realized there were many things that needed attention on my house. Pictures were taken as part of there procedure which I thought was smart as well. Rene had a great understanding, and a solution for all of the needed details. I had several other companies come out to bid the job, but in the end it was his pointing out finer points in a roofing contract that gave me confidence to hire Express. The crew came promptly at the agreed on time, performed the work in a very professional manor, cleaned at the end of every work day. They did not take any shortcuts on the job. In the end I ended up with a beautiful roof.

We bought a home and found out after closing that the roof leaked and need to be replaced. There was 2 layers of roofing material on our roof which increased the cost of replacing it. Express roofing staff, Jeremy, Jenna, and the owner, Rene were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and their roofing staff .. all of them were very professional, hardworking, and considerate of our property. We gutted our home and of all the contractors we have had here over the last 3 month, Rene’s team was the cleanest. They did a fantastic job of making sure our exterior was left prestine. Needing a new roof - you won't need to look any further. When it came time to replace our roof, we called Express Roofing at the recommendation of several neighbors. We were very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the materials and work. Rene was very thorough in explaining the process and materials. The crew arrived on time every day. The office staff also contacted us on a daily basis with photos and video of the progress. We couldn't be more pleased with our new roof and the experience of working with Express Roofing.

I contacted Express Roofing and Jeremy got back to me quickly. He came out to inspect the roof and sent us a quote within a few days. We got bids from a couple of other companies but we had Express Roofing do the job. They were not the cheapest, but their warranty was longer, they included new low profile vents, and replaced the attic vents with the twirling things with a ridgeline vent. Jeremy came out with the samples for colors of shingles and never tried to upsell us. They had to replace some rotted wood and fascia board plus rebuilt the chimney surround. We are super happy with the roof and it looks awesome. They were even able to start the work a few days earlier than originally scheduled. Rene came out and took video with the drone so we could see the roofers at work. All in all we are very satisfied with everything and will recommend them to our friends.

We had a very positive experience with Express Roofing. We were given detailed information at the time of our estimate, including warranty information and pictures of the existing problems on the roof. They started the project on time and completed work within a week. Before the workers left each day, they cleaned up all debris. We weren't expecting a perfect match for new roof tiles, as our existing roof was faded after 20+ years of sun exposure, but Rene found a very close match. Rene personally checked in at the job site every day and provided progress reports and pictures. When the work was completed, Rene did a walk through with us and found a small spot where the paint color didn't completely match. That same morning, a worker came out and corrected the small paint problem. The warranty on the work exceeds that of other companies. Everyone was friendly, professional, and hard working.

I can only reiterate the many great things said about the team at Express Roofing and the job they performed. Like others have mentioned, I got a few estimates on a complete roofing repair job and though Rene was not the lowest bid, his professionalism and passion for preparing the job, executing the job, and documenting the job with routine updates was far better than anything I would have expected. It is so hard to find a good company, expecially when you are putting out a lot of money on a home improvement project. I had a bad experience with another roofing company when they did my house, and I didn't want to make another mistake when I needed to have my mothers house reroofed. I got 5 estimates, and no one I knew had a good experience with a roofing company. Rene and his daughter Jena came out a second time and gave me detailed packet of what they would do in a way that I could understand.
Rene and Jena were here every morning checking on the job. Their crew left the area clean everyday and finished 2 days early. I couldn't be happier with how the job turned out. Professional, great workmanship, great service and the work was completed on time. I was impressed with the drone they used to take before, during, and after videos that I was able to view from the comfort of my own office rather than climbing up to a roof baked in the Arizona heat. So far, Express Roofing has worked on 3 houses we own and their workmanship is exemplary. From the very beginning in discussions with Express Roofing LLC I found everyone to be extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. We were provided with a detailed estimate that outlined exactly what they would be doing, how they were going to do it and when it would be completed. Costs were broken down in laymen terms and a separate wood pricing sheet was provided that reflected the cost for molding, fascia and plywood. Their preparation of the pool area was excellent, the existing underlayment was all removed and not left down to be covered over, and all debris was cleaned up and hauled away each day. Express Roofing replaced our roof and the their customer service and work was exemplary. We could not have been more pleased at their response time and professionalism. Another roofing company made a bid that was only slightly less than the bid of Express Roofing. But the Express Roofing bid was including top-quality materials, while the slightly cheaper company didn't even offer better supplies as an option to consider. Also, Express Roofing thought about other related work that might be needed, such as getting and painting new wood, moving an electrical box to comply with modern building codes, and getting someone else to redo my rain gutters that needed it. By thinking of things, and either doing them or connecting me with people to do things, I ended up getting everything taken care of without a hassle. I also appreciated the way they sent me drone videos and photos of the roof work before, during, and after the job. I was glad to have this assurance that they were doing quality work. And they were thousands less than one of the other companies that made a bid on the job. So, overall, they did what seems to me to be a top quality job at a good price, and deserve their stars.

The service I received from Express Roofing through the entire project should be a model for all others.
From the beginning, they were quick to respond to my Yelp request for an appointment, when other companies never even returned my follow-up call. Some companies came out but never followed up with a bid. Some gave me a bid on the spot without even going up on the roof! Rene came out (at the appointment time which was important to me since I work from home) and explained the process, the company set-up, the timeline and what to expect – up to and including what would I do with my dog while the roofing was happening, not just because the gate would be open, but some dogs (and people) do not like the noise. He was also careful to explain that they would be covering my pool and some dogs may try to walk on the plastic and could drown.
I needed a huge number of tiles replaced and my tile is no longer being made and instead of sending me 50 miles away to where tile is made to select another color and style, Rene brought the tile to me. He brought models of how joints and connections and drains are made and installed, and showed a piece of the underlayment so I could see what was going to be installed on my roof. Everything he said was followed up in writing. I received a copy of the warranty form along with their bid. His bid was “all in” when other companies had pages of contingencies and possible related and unforeseen charges. Express Roofing was not the lowest bid on paper but I felt confident that the bid would be what I paid – and in the end it was.
It is quite interesting and noteworthy at how well the crew worked together to accomplish so much in just one day. As noisy as this project is, other than the sound of real work being done, the crew was quiet as mice - and as much work that happened on top and around my home I was amazed everyday that not one nail or spec of trash could be found when the crew departed for the day! The materials that remained behind for the next day were neatly and safely stacked and placed discreetly so that I would not receive a complaint from the HOA and they would not be in my way. The professionalism astounded me, especially in this day and age where it seems most companies just don't care about customer service!
Jeff in the Express Roofing office was proactive and either called or emailed me on a regular basis to keep me updated on the tile order and delivery, the crew arrival time, reminder about the pool being covered while the messiest work was being performed, etc. I did not have to chase them down to find out what the heck was going on as I have had to with other major projects I am doing such as glass beading my pool or installing a gas line for my barbeque.
Every day that work was done Rene drove all the way out here and flew a drone to show me the progress on the roof. He sent me a video with a voice over explaining what was happening. On the video, he pointed out a couple of upgrades the crew was doing so my roof would be back in code, leak-proof longer, and more aesthetically pleasing. Not one of the other companies that came out and gave me a bid even mentioned them.
Rene said the roof would be done by the weekend – and it was actually done before noon on Friday. They were very comprehensive and meticulous on stucco patching and matched the house paint perfectly.
This is one time when I wrote what I consider to be a big check – and was completely and totally happy and satisfied to do it. I feel that I have the best looking roof in the entire area, not just in my neighborhood. I would recommend Express Roofing to anyone needing a roof repair, a replacement, or like me, a new roof.

We researched a lot of roofers when we sprung a leak. Of the 4 we narrowed down our list to, Rene from Express Roofing sold is on hiring them. He had amazing experience, amazing knowledge, and a good quote.... About average in price, but without all the 'hooks' that the other places would catch on with and send the final invoice into YIKES country.

Express Roofing redid our original (1988) tile roof, including all new tile, in March 2018. Rene, the owner, is as passionate about roofing as Giada is about Italian cooking. Rene has been in the business a long time and I would not hesitate to say he knows as much or more about tile roofs as anyone in the business. Express’s estimate included many extras that the other four companies that provided estimates did not, so check the details carefully. I liked, too, the fact that Rene did not want any money down until the day work started. That was a big plus for me.

I give 5-stars for the quality of workmanship. Everything went exceptionally well and our roof remains as leak free as ever and looks very up-to-date. I could not be more pleased.

I give 3-stars for the administrative follow-up. Although touted as one of their strengths, daily drone videos did not happen. I did not receive a video until some time after the job was complete.

It took a long time to get our warranty paperwork, both for Express’s labor coverage and the underlayment material manufacturer’s warranty. I finally got Express’s warranty after about a month and several e-mails. More e-mails over several months to Express’s office about the underlayment material manufacturer’s warranty brought no results, so I finally called the underlayment material company myself. I had the document in five minutes via e-mail.

Also, on the final day of work, when I paid Rene the balance owed, he stated that he wanted to buy my wife and I dinner. We did not think that was necessary as both parties had completed the contract as agreed to. He insisted and we gave him the name of a restaurant we enjoy. That was nearly 5 months ago and we are getting hungry.

You’ll get excellent workmanship at a competitive price with Express Roofing. Just be prepared for frustration with their office in getting all the final documents.

When faced with the daunting task of re-roofing our 28 year old home, we interviewed and got bids from 3 top roofing contractors. Rene and his daughter presented us with the most comprehensive and professional explanation of what they proposed to do and why. It was quite an education about roofing! We have 11,000 sq ft under roof, so this job was no small task. We were told it would take two full weeks to get the job done. I am happy to report, it was accomplished 2 1/2 days early. Ricardo, the Forman, was on top of every detail and his crew was very clean, taking care to keep our paver driveway covered and unharmed. Everything Rene promised was delivered! There was one small aesthetic thing I didn't like and Ricardo was back the next morning to make it perfect! The roof looks awesome - better than new! Recently we had our roof reroofed using the Express Roofing Company. We wanted to use a color that was not offered by their company. The color of the shingles was Pacific Wave. It was the first time that Express has used that specific color also. Rene gave us a game-plan on what things would happen each day. The game-plan unraveled perfectly every day. The workers were meticulous in their workmanship and neatness. They covered our pool to keep debris out of the pool. They used the aerial drone to keep us updated on what was done on a daily basis. We were very pleased with the work, the shingles that we chose, the installation of the new shingles, and the clean-up after all the shingles were installed. The cost was just what was pre-determined before we started. The work ended on the specific date and time just as Express said it would. I was looking to re-roof my home and a co-worker referred me to Express Roofing as she had previously had her roof done by them. I contacted them and made an appointment for inspection and an estimate. They came promptly and inspected the roof, then scheduled another appointment to go over the estimate in detail and explain the products they would use and how. They also recommended we add some extra roof vents since ours was inadequate (something the other companies I contacted didn't). Their estimate was in the middle of the other two I had received, but theirs included the cost of wood whereas the others didn't. There were no surprises as a result. The workers showed up each morning promptly and worked long hours to get our roof done in 2-1/2 days. The work site was cleaned up each evening so you'd never know they were there. Because they didn't use all of the wood in the estimate, we actually received a discount back for that. Express Roofing's professionalism, excellent work, superior work materials, and honesty makes me highly recommend this company for anyone looking to re-roof their home.

These guys do QUALITY WORK in a PROFESSIONAL manner. You get what you pay for and it's a good thing with Express Roofing because they pack in so much value! They will over communicate job status. Rene and his crew performed an amazing job on my roof. I walked the roof everyday and sometimes more than once a day to make sure they applied the material just like they said they would. And they did. Not only did the crew clean up every day, Rene answered every question I had and explained why. I was a few years overdue for a re-roofing project on my 31-year-old home. Neighbors had theirs ans neither was happy due to price increases (after signing the contract) for “quoted” excessive damage found after tile removal. I had 3 estimators; first spent 10 minutes on the roof. He proceeded to tell me my roof was in a “sorry” condition and would only be for the “normal” re-roofing but I should be aware the price could double due to all the “rotten” wood., second guy that came out was the ultimate used car salesman. He spent 30 minutes on the roof (mostly on his phone). He came down and gave me a half-dozen options. The third was Express Roofing. A Mr. Rene Palomino did the inspection (20 minutes on the roof and patio). He came down and educated me on what needed to be done. It was apparent he started in the trenches, he was extremely knowledgeable.. Concerning the tiled roof, he stated that there many broke/cracked tiles, was moderate damage to the underlying 4 x 8 plywood and better than 50% of the “Fascia” (2 x 8’s) was rotted. He showed me where the Patio covering was not properly installed and the underlying plywood was rotted. He said he will go back to the office and work up an quote and e-mail to me within 48 hours. These quotes would include re-roofing (including replacing all broke/cracked tiles) the tiled roof, a quote for stripping/re-doing the patio cover and quoted “options” and a pricing sheet for “wood” that would need to be replaced. Because of the amount of “rotten” fascia, I asked him to price separately, replacing all the fascia both for the tiled roof and patio cover. I also asked how he prices replacing the 4 x 8 plywood. He surprised by stating there is a flat fee for each sheet of plywood but, he does not automatically replace the whole 4 x 8 plywood, but will, if possible, replace 2 foot sections at a time (I get 4 repairs with one piece of plywood). One of the other companies stated if they find bad plywood, the always replace whole sheet of plywood (costly).
I received the “quotes” 36 hours later. He sent the quotes exactly as he stated (with all the options we discussed). There was never a “hard sell”! We agreed on one price for; the tiled roof, patio redo and selected options. My only “up scope” would be for damage (wood) found after tile removal.
Now for the actual re-roofing. There were between three to six workers out at any given time. Don’t know how he can get all his workers to be so polite, respectful and considerate (we have a 10-year old Pug and they went out of their way to be friendly to her). The crew spent from 30 minutes to an hour cleaning up each day (nothing was left in the front of back yard, everything was stacked neatly in the side yard). One worker spent at least 20 minutes walking the front/backs/side of the house with a large magnet picking up any metal (nails) and disposing of it. I told them it was ok to leave “stuff” in the back yard and they told me that was not company policy.
Another thing that was surprising, they had a drone (helicopter) out each afternoon taking videos showing the work accomplished. The narrative of the video explained (in detail) what they had done and showed/explained where they had to replace defective “wood”. Rene was out each morning to see if I had any questions/complaints. While here, he went up on the roof and inspected what had been done and gave firm directions if he felt it could be better.
During the job, I requested that “extra” work be done, (specifically, replacing a “cut-out” I had in the eave for a motor home door to open). Within an hour, he came back with two prices, one was as if it was a standalone job and one that was 50% lower because the workers and equipment was already here. Amazing!
I am more than satisfied with all aspects of this endeavor and feel that the “up-scope” pricing was extremely reasonable. But, what upsets me is Rene’s company only does roofing. Hopefully, if I need other home improvements accomplished, I will be able to find a company with the professionalism and ethics his company has shown.

Unfortunately we had to have our roof replaced 3 times, Each time we had Express Roofing accomplish the task and each time we were very satisfied, not only with the estimate but also with the timeliness and quality. Rene and Jeff are a pleasure to work with.

I had a lot of issues with my previous back patio design and they did a fantastic job of taking what I had and engineering a plan to keep cost down but provide a superior design. Great job by Rene and company redoing my 19 year old roof. Upgraded vents and fixed a few mistakes the home builder made when they were cranking these houses out in the 90's. Pictures and videos were great to see as the job was quoted, started and finished.
