Thoughtful, prompt, and friendly! The guys at Drain Medics were transparent about the job, their pricing and they got me on the schedule quickly. I feel a lot better about my vintage galvanized plumbing knowing they're around to help. Don't get yourself tied up in a big high drama plumbing project without their input!

They arrived on time, were courteous and professional and cleaned the area when they were done. They answered all of my questions and showed me the work when it was finished. I would definitely use them again.

We were referred to Drain Medics to diagnose a clogged drain in our shower. Austin was right on time for our scheduled appointment. He took the time to explain the reason for the clog (root grown through the pipe in a very inconvenient location under the foundation of the house, ouch!) and what all the repair would entail, making sure I knew exactly what to expect money and labor-wise. Though I wasn’t ready to go through with the intensive repair at the time, Austin did not want to leave us with a clogged drain and tub full of stagnant water. He cleared the pipe free of charge.

When I do decide to go through with the pipe fix, I will definitely be going through Drain Medics!

After having a lot of issues with the big companies in town not being transparent along with not finding other cheaper solutions on how to fix the issues I gave these guys a call.

Austin, who was the plumber I worked with directly. Took the time to come after hours to assess the issues and gave me the best advise he could think of to save me as much money as possible. The big companies will nickel and dime any chance they get where as Drain Medics show they really care about their reputation and value the customer above all else. I really hope I don't have to call them again but if I do I'll be using them in the future!

Austin was awesome. I had received several estimates for major plumbing repairs that were in the range of buying a car. Austin came, looked at the situation, assessed the locations involved in doing the repairs and gave me an estimate half of what the others were. Drain Medics arrived on the day and time they said they would be here. They did what they said they would, how they said they would and even did more than expected. They identified other issues and took care of it, because as Austin said “it’s the right thing to do.” They finished on time and cleaned up everything, leaving it looking better than it was when they arrived. Let’s not forget about Markland ( I hope I spelled it right) he was just as awesome as Austin. They both are the cleanest and most professional plumbers I have met and had the pleasure of hiring to work on my house. One day we had the whole company at our house and they all were fantastic. Drain Medics looks at the situation, takes the time to figure out the best way to correct it and does it. Definitely a company to hire if you need plumbing work done. We have had a couple other companies out and have not received any estimates.I saw Austin's ad so decided to call.He came out that night and will be speaking to my property manager tomorrow to try to start a game plan. Very pleasant honest and and wling to show us everything and did not brush us off like the other companies because we are just the renters. If I owned my own house he is the one I would call for all my plumbing needs.

Austin came out and did his thing..my landlord had someone else come out unprepared and with no knowledge of what he was doin..Austin was friendly,professional and knowledgeable. My sewer drain lines were installed in the 1950s (when my home was built) and were in a failing state so I was referred to Drain Medics by a friend. I was hesitant at first because I had heard horror stories of traditional sewer line repairs being both time-consuming and costly. However, Drain Medics suggested using pipe lining as an alternative, which would save me both time and money.

I was impressed with their knowledge and expertise in this area and decided to go ahead with the pipe lining method. The process was quick and efficient, and I was able to stay in my home during the repair. Robert, Ernie, Marklin and Austin were professional, friendly, and worked efficiently to complete the job in one day.

The best part was that I was able to save a significant amount of money compared to traditional sewer line repairs. My garbage disposal had been leaking, they quickly identified that it wasn’t fitted correctly and fixed it . I was only charged the diagnostic fee. I mentioned that I had an issue with some stoppers in a sink that were stuck, I assumed broken but in minutes they had sorted the issue for no additional charge. Drain Medics came by the day after we put in for a service. Austin was quick to figure out the root cause of our issues, was straight up with the costs of our issue, and actually pointed us in the direction of another business that would be better suited for our needs. He also unclogged our drains free of charge. I will definitely be using them for all of my plumbing needs in the future and they’ll be the first one I send my friends and family to when they run into issues.

Arrived promptly on time, fitting us in on his day off, on a Saturday of a Memorial Day weekend! Sewer line water was backing up through our shower drain. Austin diagnosed the source of our problem and spent the better part of the day outside digging and replacing the old corroded parts (in 95° heat). Everything works great now. I had a root intrusion into my plumbing that caused sewage to back up into my front yard. Drain Medics were able to respond within just a couple hours to clear the drain and diagnose the problem. Austin was upfront about the issue and cost. He explained the process in detail which allowed my wife and I to make a very informed decision regarding the repair. The next morning, Austin and Mark showed up precisely when he had said they would. They worked quickly and diligently. When the area that needed the repair was a bit bigger than anticipated, Austin made a second trip to get additional equipment needed. Austin and Mark both very much had a “Do it Nice, not Twice” attitude and were very meticulous in their process. The pipe was repaired and they left my front yard looking nicer than it did when they arrived. Our house had 50+ year old cast iron pipes that were almost entirely disintegrated causing significant issues throughout the house. Austin & Team clearly articulated the issues and walked us through each step of the fix. As first time homebuyers, the process was intimidating and foreign to us - we learned a lot through the process and felt incredibly supported.

We sought out trenches pipe repair to avoid the invasiveness of jackhammering into our floor. Due to circumstances outside of their control, Drain Medics thoughtfully diagnosed how to access our pipes through the floor with very minimal disruption. It was a pleasure to have them in our house despite the situation, and upon finishing the job, our house is in much better shape than it was before.

We recently used Drain Medics for a second time to fix an issue we were having with a shower drain. They were able to diagnose the problem, reline the pipe and repair the drain which had been leaking. It went from being a 50 year old drain to working like a brand new shower in a matter of days. So often, plumbing jobs are band aids. These guys get to the root of the problem and get it right.

I needed a plumber ASAP. Austin answered the phone right away and was at my home within the hour.
My wall had to be cut for access, it was clean and precise. Essential Plumbing was efficient, and the cost was half of what I was going to pay at another plumbing business.
I had gotten two quotes prior to contacting Essential Plumbing. They were $850 and $800.
I was shocked. I decided to look on Craigslist one last time and saw that Essential Plumbing is Veteran owned.
I am truly glad I gave them a chance. My invoice Was $350 and the work completed was stellar.

Austin was amazing!
Had a sewage main line under the house get clogged, and our toilet backed up through our tub. Trust me, you don’t want to experience that, haha
I called around to a couple companies that are national, and they said the earliest they could get to my house in 1-3 business days.
I continued to look and found Drain Medics; I called Austin and he was to my house within 2-3 hours (he was on another job and got me on the schedule).
As soon as he got to my house, we talked and walked around the house and I explained the symptoms, as well as showed him the back up.
He then stuck the inspection tool down the clean out and found the clog in the main line. I do not own the house and he was in contact with my landlord and explained the situation to them.
Even though he did not get the go ahead to complete the entire job (landlord is in contract with another company), he went ahead and helped clear the line so that my son, fiancé and I could shower and not have any backups. The contracted company will come out and do their own assessment, but everything is running nice and smooth.

Austin was very responsive and provided a professional assessment of my sewer issues, clearly laying out a course of action and providing a detailed quote. The work was performed unattended by me, since I was still shuttling back and forth between my properties. Austin provided photos of the in-process condition and also the finished project. We had a seriously backed up kitchen sink, with dirty water coming up into the sinks. Drain Medics responded quickly and professionally to our situation. They went above and beyond when they came out on a Saturday, making sure that the job got done that day and done right!! First they had to snake the pipe of the sludge that built up in our plumbing (the photo is just some of the backup that came out of our pipes!!!). Then, Drain Medics used their hydro jet hose to clean the plumbing lines—ensuring that the pipes were completely clear and the water was draining. I would recommend them to anyone!
