Custom Gabion Design

Michael and his team (with Inaudi and Abel) were AWESOME. From the first time Michael visited to discuss the design of a gabion wall in my front yard, he was super nice and full of good ideas which continued throughout the project. Michael and Inaudi have a passion for creating great looking work and it shows. They always consulted with me on decisions to be made throughout the project to make sure they were creating something I would be extremely happy with. The customer service was great! All e-mails, phone calls, and texts were always answered promptly. Their attention to detail is very high - which I appreciate when looking at the finished product closely. All the rocks were hand placed making a REALLY nice custom looking flat and connected surface inside the metal mesh cages and each day of work was always cleaned up. We put redwood pieces on the top of the wall to make a seating surface and they were VERY accommodating in laying out the wood exactly as I wanted (the wall was curved so there were a bunch of ways the wood could go). After they were done, I liked the work so much I ordered smaller gabion cages from them (1'x1' squares) to use as stools around my fire pit in the backyard. They dropped them off promptly and I used the left over rock from the project in the front which Michael and his team gladly moved to the back to make it convenient for me. Placing and aligning the rocks inside the cages myself, even though they were small, was a lot of work which helped me appreciate how skilled and efficient the Custom Gabion crew is. I would unquestionably use them again in future gabion projects!

Had this project bouncing around in my head for a couple years. Tried finding the materials myself but near impossible if you don't know specifically what you need (not to mention what you're doing).

Sent Michael an email and he returned it very quickly, Meeting him and his co-workers was very professional, very easy going. He could see what I had in mind right away and took measurements, gave me honest and up-front estimates, even suggested alternate ways of doing it if I was looking to watch costs. I wound up letting him do everything, start to finish.

He had a couple other projects in the works at the same time, but was excellent about keeping me updated about my project. The end result, in my opinion, exceeds my initial expectations and is truly worth more than the investment.

Their work is solid, well warranted, and beautiful. I have the best looking front yard border in the whole subdivision . . . seriously.

From the first phone call to the last detail we can’t say enough good things about Custom Gabion Design. Inaudi contacted me after a google search led me to this company. We set up a time to visit my backyard project at my convenience. When he showed up On Time, we talked in detail of what mine and my wife’s vision was for our backyard. It was challenging because we were demolishing over 100ft of failing railroad ties and replacing with gabion stone cages. After another visit his partner Michael came and we went over every detail the project would entail. They not only are intelligent in their craft but both had a keen eye for detail which showed when I asked every foreseeable obstacle that might come up. They were creative and their estimate was within our budget. We set a start date and Inaudi and his crew showed up ON Time and ready to work. They are extremely hard workers and it shows in the detail they put into their craft. On the last day Inaudi went over the entire job site with us to make sure it was to our satisfaction. When finished they cleaned up paying special attention to scrap left on the ground knowing that we have dogs. After 2 weeks on the project we bid farewell to the crew that had become like family. Custom Gabion was within budget, on time, respectful, professional and a joy to have around. That is extremely rare as we have experienced with other contractors for minor projects. Anyone looking to have this type of work done will not be disappointed if you hire this company!

Custom Gabion Design was a triple win for us: 1) We could find them online through their very professional web site (doesn't sound like much, but try searching for Gabion fence installers in southern Arizona), 2) They were very responsive and professional, and 3) best of all, they did a GREAT job. They arrived on the day they said the would, at the time they said they would, and got 100 X 3.5 installed in just over a day.

My gabion fence turned out better than I imagined! It is beautiful! The crew was responsive, worked hard and made sure I was happy with the work. I already had them quote more work! Inaudi and his team were great, I look forward to working with them again on my next project!

Our house is on a corner lot, so we were looking for an attractive way to fence it in and not have it look like a fortress. We contacted Custom Gabion Design for a quote. They responded quickly and were soon at our place to discuss our ideas. Our first idea ended up being over our budget, but they were happy to work with us on different options until we found something that worked for us. And the final product ended up working out much better for the space than our original idea anyway.

The gabion wall itself is beautiful! We get compliments from neighbors all the time. Michael and Inaudi were friendly and responsive, and clearly are proud of their work (and should be). They placed the wall by hand and had it fully installed within about 2 weeks. The difference it has made to the look and feel of our front yard is amazing, and now people/pets stay on the sidewalk and out of the yard.

We contacted CGD because we wanted to fence in our property with gabion walls and pillars incorporated into the design. They were quick to respond and after the initial meeting with Inaudi, we decided to proceed . They worked with us on design and budget and were terrific to deal with throughout..never pressuring us. Inaudi and crew were prompt, courteous and hard working...keeping us abreast of any changes or issues they encountered during the construction process. They were respectful to our property and the final results were better than we could have hoped for. We highly recommend CGD, Inaudi , Micheal and his crew.

Michael and Inaudi did an awesome job in bringing my vision to reality. I needed a retaining wall that was decorative but unique. I remember seeing this type of style of wall in more contemporary neighborhoods and wanted this style that would make my home stand out with some curb appeal. Custom Gabion made this experience very efficient and very affordable. The finished product exceeded my expectations beyond words.
