I needed to get home door locks rekeyed. ACME set up an appointment for same day, arrived within a couple of hours, and did the work in short order. A very pleasant experience, and I thought the price was reasonable.

Really need to find a locksmith but they are so expensive! I called this local locksmith and was pleased with the low price. I don't know why I've never used them before. They came out on time, did a great job, and didn't overcharge me.

Purchased a new key fob for my car and needed the key duplicated from my old one. The man behind the counter cut the key while I waited and it worked perfectly! While I was waiting I looked around and saw lots of other products that interested me such as Abus padlocks. This is a great locksmith shop with excellent customer service. The way things are going, I worry places like this won't last much longer, but I'll always go here before a big box store any time I need lock service. The guy working here is a professional and knows what he's doing. If you require a locksmith, this is where you want to go or call.

My son and I drove from Goodyear to this place in scottsdale because they had great reviews. As soon as we walked in an older gentleman behind the counter who said his name was Willy would not help us. He seemed busy with some keys. So we looked around for a while and talked with some other workers who were adjusting their front door to the business. I went back to Willy and asked if he could help us find a safe that would work best for what we needed. He was very short and seemed as if we were bothering him. We looked around some more and asked the guys working on the door for their advise. After we decided on a safe. We went back to Willy so we could pay him and get out of there. Willy said he was busy and it would take an hour before he could help us. I asked the other guys if they could make the transaction and they said they were heading out to a call and they were late. So we went back to Willy and explained we live an hour away and could not come back. Im a 45 yr old man and he felt it necessary to scold me and tell me that if I keep talking to him it would take twice as long. He said he had a customer on his computer already and he had to finish that order before the computer would allow him to check us out. I knew that was false and told him to just get us out of there. I would leave the cash and he could do the computer thing when he's done and for him to just email me the receipt. The total came out to 482.00 and he said he could not give me change for the 100 dollar bills I gave him. After we worked that out he said he didn't have a dolly to help us get the safe out to the car. My son and I carried the safe out and finally got out of there. I have never left a review but after this experience with such obvious bad customer service by this place I felt it necessary to share my experience. I gave it 2 stars because the guys working on the door were busy but still gave some advice and their opinion on a good safe.

I forgot to post a couple of days ago but now I've definitely got to post a review! I first went to Acme lockSmith Off shea and Scottsdale while waiting for my doctors appointment I just stopped by to see if they had any cute keys instead of my ugly original key. I got a couple made and hung around to watch their informational videos. Brian was very polite and professional that day and even though he was busy he still manage to answer any question I asked! However I managed to loose my key that I had him make! In a panic I got ahold of him to explain what happened and to see if they could help me out with getting in to my home. Long story short he saved me over $80 just by having my boyfriend (who's currently in Tuscon) send him a picture of my original key! IM 100% blown away. Brian and the Acme crew are truly amazing and obviously know what they're doing! If I could give more stars I would! Thanks Brian and acme!

Went here to get new keys made for my roof rack of my Range Rover I purchased used and did not have keys for. Adam tried to make the keys but was unsuccessful the first day as the roof rack had an odd key. But he did not quit, researched the specifics and in the end figured out and made the keys for my car. Anyone else would have just said they could not do it and sent me elsewhere but Adam was determined and got the job done. Great place and great experience. 100% recommended.

The manager Adam was very knowledgeable and helpful when I went in looking for a safe. The safe industry can be a bit daunting with all of the different ratings and types of safes so visiting Adam will take the stress out of finding the correct safe for your needs. He didn't just try to upsell me to the most expensive model we even settled on something under my original budget that would be perfect for what I'm trying to secure.

Copying a key should be simple. I went to Home Depot and they couldn’t copy a key. Go figure. I searched and found a local shop and they were open so I raced over there and brought them my dilemma. Within minutes I had a duplicate key and all was good in my world. Don’t discount the small local guy. The service and speed of service was world class. Go to these guys first before you feed a big chain store. The Home Depot guy had no personality and was rude to several people in front of me. I thought of walking out but didn’t. Big regret. Take my word for it, go to the small local guy before you deal with people who don’t give a rat’s a$$ about you.

Irv found the replacement parts and was able to put back a custom lock that I took apart and in doing so lost a 2 1/2 inch screw.

Ryan actually showed up about 20 minutes before the scheduled window and my phone wasn't working well so I did not get his calls, but instead of bailing on me he waited at my house for about 40 minutes until I got there so he could do the job. I was very impressed. The service itself was quick, easy, and done properly.

I needed a new key for my Honda van, and found this little gem of a store -- Acme Locksmith. Although they didn't have the exact key in stock, Eric L. ordered one for me, and once it was delivered to the store, he made a perfect replica from the original. Eric is a very skilled locksmith with excellent customer service skills! I will return to Acme Locksmith for my all of my key and security needs. Kudos for a job well done!

I have had the pleasure to use Acme Locksmith three times in the last two months.
Both the Scottsdale and Mesa offices.
Big Mike came over and resolved my problem with a deadbolt. He was quick and fast and
told me I didnt need to replace the deadbolt, it was just a turning pin / rod broken inside. He also Redid the plate which had to be adjusted and redrilled. Mike did a fabulous job. He was very professional and courteous which is important to senior citizens like myself.
He made sure I was comfortable with his skill and workmanship before he left. I recommend Acme for all your locksmith needs. They rock!

Erv changed the mechanisms in our door locks and copied new keys for us. His quiet, calm, steady, skilled working style was very much appreciated. Erv offered professional tips about locks and hardware if we should change our doors in the future. He also reminded us to keep security doors locked when conversing with people unfamiliar to us. We highly recommend Erv as a locksmith. ACME is lucky to employ him.

I bought my safe from Acme 18 years ago. I needed it moved to a new home, so I called them again. Scheduling was easy, and Brian was very courteous and professional. The very heavy safe got moved with no damage.

Great experience. Gentleman named Bobby was prompt, knowledgeable, polite, and opened my Jeep quickly. Was able to supply the battery needed for my fob too. The battery was low so it did not sense when I left the key in the car so it defaulted to lock. Thank you!

I ordered a safe through Acme, and received moderate service. They were always eager to help me and answer my questions when i called. But that was the thing, i always had to call them and rarely received a phone call back. Very frustrating, even on the day my safe was supposed to be there, no communication until i called them. They did get me a great price on my safe though.

Big Mike showed up on New Year's night less than 2 hours after I called... I needed to get into the safe before morning on the 2nd and he made it happen. My safe lock had died and he was able to open it with a new combination panel. Replaced the old lock and panel, lubricated the safe and now it's working better than ever.

Wow!..What a great service experience! Went to ACME on a Monday and I was truly impressed with their overall business efficiency!..I spent over 4 hours over the weekend visiting several stores trying to get copies of keys made that belong to a classic car, a 1965 Convertible Mustang. None of the big stores, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE Hardware, could make duplicates based on the type of original keys. However, ACME had the proper equipment and it a matter of 3 minutes, presto!..My quest was over and met. All with professionalism, speed and excellent customer service! Excellent experience with ACME Locksmith. Brian arrived on time to our home in Phoenix, and worked quickly to replace the handsets on our exterior doors. One door was non-standard, but he had the necessary parts to make the new knobs fit. The work was done six months ago, and we have had no problems with the doors or locks. Violet and Eric L went above and beyond to help me out today. I’d gotten locked out of my airstream while traveling. AAA and the fire department both tried and failed at getting my door latch unlocked.

I came in with a postal lock that had frozen up. I tried everything to get it cleaned up but nothing doing. I took it in to this shop to see if it could be repaired or replaced. The replacement was restricted to just proprietary US Postal locks only but the gentleman worked on it for awhile cleaning it up with a special solution and got it working. It would have cost me over $50 to get the PO out there but ACME was able to do it as a favor. I'll be back. I really like the hometown feel of this place.

Big Mike was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The original installers put the lock in backwards causing the lock to appear broken. Other locksmiths told me I would more than likely have to replace the lock wanting to charge me around $450; however, Mike easily identified the actual problem and fixed the lock immediately. I will definitely be calling Acme in the future if I have any other lock issues.

I bought replacement key fobs for my Toyota vehicle online from another vendor to said they could be self-programmed, which wasn't true. Another locksmith who couldn't do the programming recommended ACME. ACME was able to reprogram them for my vehicle in 10 minutes, for much less cost than the dealership.

The key for my scooter broke in the ignition and Brian got out the broken part of the key and made me two new ones. Very friendly quality service at an affordable price. Thanks, Brian!! I would definitely recommend Acme Locksmith to all.

Erv came out and changed the locks on the front and garage doors. He called before he came out and I also received a text that allowed me to see where he was and when he would arrive. I had to run out for about 20 min, so that feature was very helpful. He changed out 5 padlocks and had 5 that were all keyed the same. He was extremely helpful with the programming of the new electronic lock. I could not have asked for better service.

The Service Tech Eric was very knowledgeable. I have a 1994 Toyota with a very worn and unusable key. The new key was supposed to be made from information from Toyota which was not available. He made a new key after removing the door cylinder. Acme Lock is a firm made up of professionals.

I called them to have my car key programmed and they told me it would be $1500 and if it don't work it's not refunded well EVERYWHERE else that same job would be from $80-$200 I personally think the Guy I spoke with didn't know what I ment even after I tried to explain it but I would never tell somebody about this place at all but I will be posting this on my social media so everyone I know does not go here

I lost the keys to a vintage 1952 mechanic's toolbox. Eric was able to find a blank key that would fit the toolbox's lock and remake a working key in one day.
