Got the drain unclogged but left a mess in basement which I had to clean up. Don't know if this is standard operating procedure

Repair man has been here twice in one week. Both said they cannot find anything wrong. Have to call again because furnace stopped working again 3rd time in a week. Very frustrating.

I first received a call from John on 05/17/2021. John was able to give me so much information on the best AC unit for our home. He is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. With this being such a big purchase for our new home, it could have been stressful. John made sure that it was not. KG Stevens just completed an upgrade to my kitchen with new countertop, Kohler sink and hands free faucet. Jason was the plumber working on the reconnect and install of the hands free faucet. He took the project as far as he could but pointed out that I needed new outlet for the faucet to be hands free. Sarah Kunde from KG Stevens assisted in getting a Seider electrician to come and install the necessary electrical. Dom was the electrician and was prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with. All in all an excellent experience. Kudos to Seider for such a fine team.

For some reason, my furnace didn't start this fall after working fine last winter. I had a local heating and cooling company come over and try to find the problem but, after several hours and lots of different repairs, couldn't fix the furnace. When my older furnace had its second problem in as many years, I asked the pro's at Seider for some advice during the service call. What I didn't get was a big upsell, which I really appreciated. Instead, we simply talked through pros and cons, and value over time. I'm so happy I bought my new Daikin system! The guys at Seider also gave great tips on not only how to properly operate it to save wear and tear, but how to get both floors of my house to finally feel the same temperature. Problem solved!! I highly recommend this business, start to finish.

We had been having some plumbing issues for a few days . We have used another plumbing business in the past because they were closer to home .But , we were never really impressed with the way they handled things . I had seen Seider Plumbing trucks in the neighborhood before, so I thought I would give them a try. I am very glad I did . I called a couple of days ago and explained the problem. Told them it was not an emergency , but they came the very next day anyway . The service tech was very friendly and knowledgeable about taking care of things . He figured out the issue and took care of it right away . Even though it took more time than expected, we were only charged the estimated amount. I will be calling them again soon , when we need new sink and faucets installed.
They are very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend them .

The technician Jason was awesome. My wife originally called to have one toilet serviced, during the time between calling and our appointment I noticed our second bathroom toilet also needed servicing. Apon Jason's arrival me and my wife asked him if it was an issue looking at the second bathroom. He gladly did so, unfortunately he didn't have all the parts he needed to fix the second bathroom with him. However Jason came back later in the day to fix the second toilet. I appreciate his dedication so much. Will definitely be using Seider again! Great job!

Called early in the morning due to a water heater spewing water all over our basement floor. Mike made arrangements for someone to come over that same afternoon! Jason did a great job replacing our old water heater. Removed the old one, cleaned everything up and turned off all the lights! Great service and so happy that they had room to fit us in same day!!!

I had a new furnace and air conditioner unit installed (Goodman) and within 1year the AC system failed. I was told by Seider owner Todd Seider that this was a top of the line unit. They sent out Corey, a repair technician , who stated that the unit was defective. They sent out a Goodman rep along with Corey and they inspected the unit and agreed to replace the entire unit within a month due to covid. A month later Todd Seider refuse to replace the unit and instead said that the hard start kit they put on the BRAND NEW unit was sufficient and all they could do. Please don't be conned by this company like I was. We spent $4000.00 on a faulty unit.

I normally don't write reviews but i felt i needed to this time. I Had a great experience, Brandon came out after he called to say he was coming out. i met him because i was at work, he looked the A/C unit over and knew right away what it was. he showed me explained how he knew. went to his truck got a replacement, replaced it and then gave me some great maintenance tips. i rarely see or hear of that kind of service any more and i highly recommend Seider Heating, Plumbing and electrical. they are lucky to have Brandon on their staff as well as i am lucky he is. i have to add, Seider not only provided great service but also did it at a fair price.

We needed to have water and gas disconnected from a water heater. Water was leaking from it so we needed someone quickly. When I called Seider they asked what the problem was and gave me a time frame for the plumber to arrive. The plumber, Jason, arrived on time. I visited my 99 year old father who needed some assistance with Dr. appointments. While walking through the basement I observed the water heater that was in very bad shape. I called Seider for an appointment. The following day Scott arrived and took one look at the water. It needed replacement. The schedule was full but I only had one more day in WI., March 2, so he called scheduling and made us the 2nd job for the next day. Scott and Mark replaced the old water heater (installed in 1993) with a new one, gave instructions on care and maintenance and answered several other questions on Dad's plumbing concerns. They were professional, courteous and very helpful. I returned to Texas feeling very good about their work and service. My sister subsequently used Seider to assist with Dad's furnace inspection and Service. Thanks to you all from the Dunn family.

What a joke. Called in and sat on hold forever. Hitting zero to get to an operator doesn't work. Phone system would say goodbye and then put you back on hold. Finally got through and lead time for a repair is over 1 week.

I was very pleased with the professional service we received. Recently our air conditioner was leaking and shorted out the control panel during a hotspot while we were out of town on vacation. They were quick to schedule us with an appointment the same day, diagnose the problem, clean out our condensation drains and replace the control panel! Great service, great guys!

Sieder was able to come same day, very nice technician showing me exactly what he was doing, made pleasant conversation, troubleshooted efficiently, knew his trade inside and out, he even left me a few extra wire caps to finish the rest of my outlets with. Very reasonably priced, too! They are now my go-to!

I had someone come out to fix my AC since it wasn't working....when the guy came he was only here for about 20-30mins. He claimed to change out the capacitor and was charged over $300 this was on August 29,2021.

Just about 2 weeks ago the AC when out again and this time I had called a different heating/AC company and they came out to see what was wrong and it turns out that the capacitor was an old one and all rusted out! So, the service on August 29 was a scam since thy guy didn't put in a new one like he claimed on top of that I never received the invoice! But I was charged on my credit card for the service and will be calling to speak to the manager.

We had a new Daikin AC system installed and it took less than a day for the install. The price was reasonable and the service exceptional. We have been using Seider for decades at our home and businesses and will continue to do so. We highly recommend Seider for all of your HVAC needs.

Great company, great people, great service

We had Seider come out for a basement drain that had backed up a few weeks ago. They drilled it out which fixed the problem for a few days only to have it back up again a few days later.

Seider agreed to come out again and agreed that the problem was not fixed properly. They drilled out 75 feet but said they couldn't detect what was causing the problem. They left on Friday without charging us for the 2nd visit but also without fixing the clog. We had raw sewage sitting in our basement for a few days + over the weekend. Seider never followed up and eventually we had to call another company to come fix the problem as we are both immuno-compromised and couldn't leave raw sewage sitting in our basement. $400 spent for a temporary fix that lasted a few days. Left our basement as pictured.

Our contractor contracted Seider to do our plumbing work for our new master bedroom. We were lucky enough to get to work with Mike! He went above and beyond to give recommendations on products to use and get our installation done quickly! Mike and his worker were on time, communicated every step of the way, and finished earlier than we even thought! We would gladly work with them again!

They are always on time and professional, very well managed! I will continue to use them and recommend them.

The people at Seider are absolutely some of the most honest and nice people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with.

I had another heating and cooling company out to look at my Bryant furnace and they told me both the primary and secondary heat exchangers had failed, with this information I had resigned myself to buying a new furnace as the cost to replace both heat exchangers was nearly the same as a new furnace. This other company had a salesperson out who gave me some numbers on new units, I wanted to do my due diligence so I decided to call Seider as they offered similar brands as this company.

John R. got right back to me and gave me some numbers for what a replacement would cost from Seider. John clearly has an immense amount of knowledge about the HVAC business, after chatting about replacements John inquired as to what was wrong with my current furnace and I filled him in on the diagnostic work done by the other company. Immediately John started to identify inconsistencies in the other companies story, first off my secondary heat exchanger was covered under a class action lawsuit, second the other company identified a noise I had heard previously and described to them as rivets popping on the primary heat exchanger, John informed me that exchanger was crimped and not riveted, he pointed out that they likely did little inspection to reach their conclusion. John then said that while he couldn't promise anything he would rather not sell me a new furnace if I didn't need one and recommended I have someone from their company out to diagnose the unit, John said in his years of selling he felt that it was important to be honest with customers and not try to sell them something they don't need, he said he knows that if he does right by his customers they will come back when they need to buy something.

John is the definition of integrity in business practices and a remarkably honest individual.

The next day Craig came out to check out my furnace and just like John suspected my primary was fine and my secondary had failed. Craig, much like John, was incredibly knowledgeable in the trade, friendly and also super honest. He made a few calls and arranged for the secondary heat exchanger to be ordered, before he even left I got a call from Seider's office to schedule someone for the next day to replace it.

The next day Mike arrived and got to work, Mike shared the same vast knowledge on HVAC as John and Craig, as well as also being very honest and friendly. He got the unit pulled apart, and took a look at the primary that according to the other company was bad, it was in fact in great shape. He replaced the secondary, got the unit back together ran some tests and that was that.

Between Seider's very reasonable service fee of just $99 and a small fee to replace the secondary ($150), Seider had my furnace up and running for under $300 after tax. The other guys wanted anywhere from $3.5k-$5k to completely replace it.

One more thing I noticed throughout my interactions with John, Craig and Mike aside from their immense knowledge of the HVAC industry and their honesty was that all of them made note of how dedicated the Seider family was to doing the right thing for their customers. If I recall correctly they indicated that the Seiders have been operating this business for three generations now, clearly the Seider family takes putting their name on their work seriously, their dedication to sevice is second to none and they operate with the utmost integrity.

Bravo to the Seider family and their employees, this is a fantastic business run by amazing people.

My project consisted of replacing an outside post and electric box, adding a new outside electric box, and adding 2 light fixtures in my garage. The project started with an on site visit to assess my needs. Ben did an excellent job, understanding my requirements and later providing an accurate estimate. Then, at the agreed upon date and time, Joe and Andrew from Seider showed up on time and ready to work. They were the consummate professionals. Not only was their electrical work excellent, they respected our request that appearances were very important to us. The finished project exceeded our expectations: the wiring was hidden, the post looked better than the one it replaced (and it works!!) and they even repaired our lawn where they had to dig. Seider is my source for electrical work, HVAC and plumbing, and I highly recommend Seider for all 3 services.

This is seriously one of the best companies I’ve ever had to deal with. I had Seider do some plumbing for my business. What I was asking was no small feat. Everyone other plumber I had contacted either turned it down or didn’t follow up with me. Mike and his team were honest and straight forward that it was going to be a challenge but willing to take on my request.

Now I assumed this was going to take months, they were literally out there in 3 days! His crew took on the project and were very professional. Zag and Mitch arrived on time, with posit attitudes, and were eager to work. By the end or the day I had lines for a washer and dryer system and for a kitchenette.

After this portion of the install there were some other issues that happened that were out of everyone’s control. They dealt with this situation with so much professionalism. I had SueAnn from the office following up with me, making sure we both knew we were on the same page. Mike worked diligently to make sure we stayed on a good timeline as well.

Christian came out after everything was settled and was so nice and such a hard worker! He even helped me install my cabinet and sink.

Everyone at Seider Plumbing is hard working, professional, and happy (like seriously!). So it makes everything easy to deal with when problems arise. Honestly, this is one of the best companies. Seider installed three exhaust fans in the bathrooms. They were on time, courteous and professional. I would use them again.

I worked with John to set up the installation appointment for our new furnace. He was great to work with, was honest, and answered all of my questions right away. The installers showed up on time and were very professional. They finished up ahead of schedule and made sure to clean up afterwards. Their installation looks flawless from what I can tell and they politely answered all of my questions before they left. After they had left, I noticed a typo on the invoice and was being charged a little more than what I was quoted. I texted John and within minutes the issue was handled and I was sent a corrected invoice. They also called to apologize for the typo and made sure I was aware that the price I was quoted was the price I was getting. This is not the first time I have worked with Seider as they also installed a new A/C unit a couple years back and a new water heater earlier this year. Everything has been running perfectly so far. Every single experience I've had with Seider has been nothing short of excellent - from the customer service, to the installations, to the annual maintenance services. They will have my business for the foreseeable future. I don't know how I can trust anyone else at this point based on the great work Seider does!

I've read some reviews on their prices, but with certain situations it's sometimes best to get the best which also means they've earned the rite to price as they wish because they'll get it rite the first time. My widowed friend had not even given thought to the maintenance of her furnace or filter. I saw that her deceased husband had kept records of previous inspections by Seider, so I called them on her behalf. They found the account immediately, even though it had been 4 years since the last house call. They were able to send someone out the very next day and provide a 3 hour window in which they would arrive. Everything went very smoothly. He fixed our plumbing problem in a timely and efficient manner. We were very pleased with the results. His partner, Jason, was ready to assist, if needed.

They were able to come out in a timely manner and explained what the problem was. The repair man was able to fix the problem quickly and was very polite and easy to work with.

Called Seider Heating because they had purchased Mohrhusen Plumbing who I had previously used. Water heater pilot light would not re-light. Serviceman replaced pilot light control at base of water heater. With water heater fixed I left town on business. Next day my wife opened the basement door and encountered a large gas smell. She was able to turn the gas off to water heater off and called me. I told her to call the fire department immediately and leave the house. The fire department arrived and determined that the gas leak was indeed coming from the water heater and that the install of the previous day was to blame. I called Seider to report the problem and to have them come back to fix their problem. I was told that I would have to wait until they had an appointment opening in two days. Needless to say, this was not acceptable and they changed the appointment to the next afternoon. The same serviceman that did the first incorrect install was sent back to correct his mistake. No apologies were ever made. No offer of a discount for shoddy work was ever offered as well. My wife had been scheduled to also leave the house. Had she left as planned, the leak would not have been found until the house had possibly exploded. Seider does not have any people skills and apparently, no plumbing skills as well. DO NOT USE!!!!! Would not give them even 1 star if I could in this review.

Seider Plumbing was outstanding! They helped my wife and I redo our whole basement plumbing issue. On top of that they pointed out an issue with our electrical box which was taken care of by one of their employees as well. It’s a one call kind of shop. They will explain every detail of what’s going on during the whole process. I couldn’t be happier with the service we received and I highly recommend using their services for any issues you have that they can help with.
