Edit: ABC has been coming out once or twice a year for many years. It's usually tree roots that make my basement drain back up. I've always loved them and never had a problem until recently. They came out to clear my drain. It backed up again but I didn't notice right away because I rarely go in my basement. After 4 phone calls and a few extra days of waiting I had to pay again for them to come redo the drain because it was past 30 days. The men are always on time and always polite.

Called ABC last night in regards to a serious plumbing issue. They came over in the morning. They also offered to come that night but I declined as I thought the morning would be fine. They came first thing as promised and fixed the problem which was a deep sewer clog which caused water to come back up through our basement floor drain. The plumber got right to work, was very professional and kind. He got the job done quick and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely recommend .

If you have a clogged drain (sink, toilet, sewer, etc.), I highly recommend this company. I discovered the company two years ago and I have been using them for all of my properties since that time. They get out to you quickly. The service is great. The technicians are honest. The prices are very fair and competitive. Unlike some other companies, they don't jack up the price once onsite.

We had an rough night at work Wednesday, when our toilets started backing up. We have a music store with lesson studios that were running at max when the disaster hit. I called ABC Sewer and was told everyone was out on calls and we would have to wait. It was within the hour that someone arrived. Our guy was very professional, friendly and he got the job done quickly. Usually when I call a service to my home and then work for similar jobs - the business is always charged at least three times as much. Not the case with ABC Sewer - they were faster and much, much cheaper. Whether you are a business owner or a resident in the Milwaukee area, you should use ABC Sewer, too. Thank you ABC Sewer!!!

So I called this company (ABC Sewer) to come to my parents' business for a parking lot drain issue. They sent an older gentleman out there, he told my dad that he could not do help with the issue because he doesn't have the proper tools to open the pipe cap. He suggested my dad to drill holes through the cap and do it ourselves. For goodness sake, if we wanted to do it, we would not have called this company. Will not be using this company EVER again. They suck. As a drain cleaning company, they should know what to do for parking lot drainage, especially when they post on their website that they can help clear parking lot drainage. Go with Discount Drain & Sewer Cleaning, LLC. They are that much better and that much more equipped to handle any jobs.

Our sewer backed up, we called ABC and they said they would be out at 9am the next day. They showed up at 9am sharp! Tony and Justin were friendly and went to work immediately. 45 minutes later the problem was solved! Tree roots were the culprit. ABC was prompt, friendly, fairly priced and we love these guys!

We continue to be very pleased with ABC Sewer. We've used them several times over the past few years. They are responsive, friendly, hard working, neat, and nice to work with. This place was the best. Sewer backing up last night while taking a shower. Called them this morning, they gave me a noon to 2 p.m. window. They could have been here this a.m. but I had 2 appt. So 12:15 they are here. Where they needed to get to was not open for them so they told me get this stuff moved and call us back. Got the washer out of the way and they were back at 3 p.m. They left around 4:30. All cleaned up. Had to snake the drain found that it was tree roots. For a flat rate of $139.00. Hope I never have to call them again, but will if I need to. I will tell my family and friends. Did a great job. Thank You so much.

Wonderful experience! This was my first time calling a plumber to my house. Basement drain was overflowing when running the washer. Crown Plumbing on MLK Drive referred me to ABC and I was very pleased with their service. The technician cleared tree roots out of the drain and got things running again in about 1 hour. Fairly priced! Would call them again without hesitation for future issues.

I had water coming around my sewer pipe and a different company quoted $2,000, meanwhile ABC plumbing came out and within a couple minutes told us our lines were completely fine and didn’t charge a single penny! The guy even went out of his way to help point out what he thought the problem was (landscaping) and how we could fix it! Overall, we are thankful for the very quick turnaround time when things turn bad at a moment's notice. The appointment was set at a late hour, the work was done the next morning quickly and for a reasonable price.

I am very disappointed, however, in the state of our basement after the service. (We are currently working on reorganizing our basement, so we had some belongings out and needed to push them aside for the tech to get to the sewer main.) After the service was done, the tech apologized that a few items got some sewer splash from his work but did not offer a solution. After he left, we discovered that a broad area of our items had been splattered with sewage. Some of these items cannot be cleaned, and may need to be replaced. We had no idea how bad it really was until we saw it after he had gone.

I only wish that the tech had advised us this may be an issue in advance, and either offered to cover it up with a tarp for us or request we cover things up ourselves. It has caused us a lot of extra unexpected work due to this oversight. I can only hope a best practice is established for future customers to prevent this.

I noticed we had sewer back up this morning so I called ABC Sewer because we have old toilet stacks we had to call a plumber to put in a T trap? Then ABC came back at 2 and worked on snaking out to the street. The guy that was here had to call another worker with a longer snake. BOOM the clog was really bad and hard to get through but they got it. I gave both a tip and was shocked the cost was only $280.00
Now the plumber from Zien plumbing charged me $680.00 I even has to him 180 and hour for his travel. No Merry Christmas eve here tonight But thank you ABC Sewer & Drain Cleaning for you hard outstanding job and hard work.

Outstanding service!! We had 2 other plumbers come out to resolve our clogged sewer lines. The first company could not fix the problem after 2 visits and over $800 in charges. They referred to another business that came out and quoted us over $14,000 to replace our sewer lines. We then decided to call ABC based on our neighbors recommendation. ABC came out today and cleared the lines and fixed the problem for $149. Highly recommend, ethical business practices, call these guys!!!

Reasonable price, but my sewer problem wasn't fixed the 1st day, when they came over the back up was below the drain, when he left for the day saying he would be back the next day, there was a pool of sewer back up that smelled horrible, and it was left that way till he came back. Plus he broke off my toilet paper holder out of the wall and never said anything about it.

Bridgette was very rude to me on the phone. And I was told I could not speak to the owner Jeff. A gentleman who has been there 30yrs try to snake through my toilet and was unsuccessful. He said if I got the main sewer lateral open he can come and snake it out no problem. So I got the main clean out cap off and called to have them come back. Bridgette told me call someone else. Even though I tried to explain the issue to her. She continued cut me off and said if i send someone you will pay 500 hundred dollars if we damage our equipment. Unbelievable. I told her what the gentleman told me and she wouldnt even verify with him. I was shocked because I did not expect to be treatwd that way as a customer. They must not care if people will use them again or recommend them to others.

Called them with an emergency that our plumbing in our entire house was backing up. A young man came a few hours later, tried snaking our shower, then the toilet. Made the most disturbing mess I have ever seen a contractor make, did not try or offer to clean the black stuff that was splattered all over the entire bathroom! He said he couldn't fix the problem and didn't know what to do, I asked him to try my second bathroom because he couldn't find a stack to clear the pipes, he refused. Basically said he was busy and had other jobs to do, and that I could call them the next day to figure it out. We couldn't use toilets or any plumbing at this point, and have two young kids. I called the next day, the lady who answered the phone told me they don't service where I live because they don't have proper equipment and offered $50 for the paint. The cost it will be to get our bathroom to original condition will be $350 +. A different local company came the next day, fixed the problem (tree roots in pipe) through the second bathroom that I recommended the technician from ABC try. I will NEVER use or recommend them again. I am a property manager that has seen several plumbing issues in my career and dealt with many different contractors. This is by far the worst and most negligent company I have ever dealt with. They are lucky I can't attach pictures to this review!

Our realestate business has been using ABC Drain Cleaners for approximatly 15 years, had a tough apartment drain cleaned today 6/18/2019. They said that they would arrive between 12Noon and 3PM.....They called ahead to let me know that they would be at the apartment at 2PM. Justin arrived exactly at 2PM as promised. Very happy with ABC and the technician, Justin. Responsive: they were on site within an hour and half of being called. COVID mask in place, Justin tarped off the work area to protect the freshly painted walls. He found the problem, fixed it, cleaned up, and was gone within about 45 minutes. Could not tell that he had ever been there, other than the drain line worked perfectly. ABC Sewer has been my go-to drain cleaner for decades. They earn their repeat business.

I called in need of a drain clearing (every method that has worked for me in the past was all for naught) for a completely stopped bathroom sink, and said it wasn't an emergency but as they could fit it in; I called late in the afternoon. We had the worst service today. We used to use this company before and pretty good job done, but not today’s job, terrible experience ever. We called for the service and was told $169 for opening sewer, the service man who drove a pickup with no any sign of the company. He asked $194. That is fine I said. Same job at least three times with the same company. This service man had difficulty to place the cutting head through the opening pipe because some angle. I told him the previous services from your own company do passed the pipe angle, maybe slightly smaller cutting head will work. Another choice is to go through toilet opening by moving toilet and will cost extra $70, I agreed. Actually it works by large cutting head to some point that we can see old dirty water gone. He supposed to work more deep to remove tree roots until new water free through. As a professional, he supposed to double check before placing toilet back, that is your job. Actually the water came back and blocked again. He wanted to leave as is. I said you didn’t get job done and leave as is. He retried to use the 4”blade head through the first access (not the toilet). Now it is ok but doubt his job. He supposed to finish the job when using the toilet opening that the larger blade do went through. He finally changed us $353. It should be 194+70 ( through toilet). The worst thing is that he added a note No warranty because only 4” blade can go through. Actually the large blade do went through the toilet opening.

They told us to call a plumber or Roto-Rooter after failing to get through the blockage in our sewer pipes after two visits (so the 30-day warranty on service is slightly meaningless if you have more serious stuff ). Roto-rooter is here now and is getting through where ABC couldn't. If you have more serious stuff to break through, then yes, call Roto-Rooter instead... Nice guys at ABC, but limited resources, equipment.

After having Andersen plumbing out to clear my drains, I found myself out $200, drains that ran no better and a new stoppage due to their work.
I then called ABC. They had a man out the next day. He snaked and cleared the new clot which I think was caused by Andersen. He then worked on my upstairs bath drain. Andersen didn't even try to snake it. After a couple of attempts he managed to get the snake down the drain. Everything is flowing beautifully now. It cost me only $160 and change, and I have a 30 guarantee.

Had them come out to clear the lateral at my home. The tech opened the floor cleanout, claimed it was clear and told my girlfriend the clog was in the stack and to call a plumber. How a clog in the stack *above* the backed up floor drains would effect anything is a bit of a mystery. Tech left, thankfully not charging us, as no actual work was performed. By using a sewer rod purchased from a hardware store, I ultimately got the problem corrected. I suspect the tech in question couldn't be bothered to make an effort, and wisely decided not to try to extract payment. On the off chance I give them a shot in the future, I believe I will book everything through the owner or mgmt. Not terribly pleased.

This is how they do the work. With duck tape over it there’s no cap underneath the water is coming out. I just called someone to help me with this and they said to call plumber.First time they came out they did the work but they didn’t finish properly. Whoever is looking for their service please look at this video first before you make decision whether to have them or not to come to your house.

The plumber that was sent out was great. Friendly to my mother in law, and was quick and honest. He gave his opinion on what he thinks could be wrong when he dealt with a clog for us. He also wrote on his receipt a 30-day guarantee.

Because this clog could be potentially be reoccurring we called to ask if there could be some kind of discount should we ask them to come out again. We spoke with Tammy, who was unrelenting, showed zero empathy, and arrogant on the phone regarding our situation and was extremely reluctant to have someone above her position give us a call. She mentioned that she has 30 years of experience and apparently that means she's a master plumber and knows every detail of what's what. Finally she agreed to have the owner give my wife a call.

The owner followed up the next day and showed the same traits Tammy did and even added that Tammy apparently told us our warranty is void despite it being WRITTEN on the receipt. Tammy never mentioned this, and he also mentioned our pipes were damaged and a hazard to their equipment and would cost 500$ to replace their tools. Looking at other reviews this is a common practice for the owner. The plumber mentioned NOTHING about damage to our pipes. Apparently they are the jedi's of plumbing and can see what is happening in the pipes without sending a camera down. Although not outright said, the tone of the conversation was that they would not come out to service us , likely for a bunch of stuff they say that is not true.

For anyone using their service use caution, you may be better off going with a more local plumber, however the actual employees who are in the field doing the real work, were great.

Edit: In response to your response, the plumber did not indicate any of this information to us, when I know my mother in law was next to the plumber the entire time asking questions. So to lay this on us after the fact, is questionable to me. Additionally you voided our warranty which
in my opinion is a questionable for any business. My review will stand. Thanks.

The drains in our only bathroom clogged on a Sunday night. I called ABC at 10:15pm and was told a technician would call me within half an hour. Dan called 10 minutes later and said he would be here in an hour to an hour and a half. He arrived just after 11pm and fixed the clog in about 15 minutes. Awesome service and reasonable prices, especially for a Sunday night!

I moved into my new home and not even 48 hours later, the sewer backed up into the basement. I called ABC Sewer and Henry came out within a few hours, right at the beginning of the estimated time frame. Henry was very nice and efficient. The home was vacant for a while so getting through the roots in the sewer like put up a fight but Henry was able to clear the path and was done with the job in less than an hour. ABC has a very good reputation in our neighborhood, and my experience confirms this. I called for a preventative clean-out of our sewer lateral, something we do every two or three years to keep tree roots in check. This was the first time I’ve used this firm for the job. Byron called to let me know he was on his way, did a masterful job of backing his truck up our narrow drive, introduced himself, and got right to work. He pulled out about 2 quarts of roots and after showing me, took them with him instead of leaving the bag for me to dispose of. There was nothing for me to clean up. I paid by credit card; the company uses a handheld unit that accepts accepts tap-to-pay.

Not sure how to describe this..........called due to basement laundry tub not draining very well. A young man came out, he snaked the white trap/pipe with an electric snake and then left. But the pipe was left to leak....He must have broken the pipe. Next day they sent the same man with another to supervise this ....he merely tightened the white trap (pvc)...elbow.....and left. It leaked again! Next day they sent a different man out. He did the same darn thing.........It leaked again............Next day a man came back and put gooey junk all over the white pvc where it leaked........and now it has stopped, but all in all, I was charged for a new trap and never got one! I would not recommend. FOUR days?? for a simple job like this??? Four days of MY TIME too and I end up with goop all over my pvc trap..........No thanks.......

There are so many good reviews for ABC I thought too good to be true. But so glad I was proven wrong! Byron called and came within the timeframe I was told and despite some challenges, persisted and got my sewer unclogged. He was friendly, courteous and tidy. Price was very reasonable which is a pleasant surprise with all the gouging going on from other vendors. First class service and company.

My Real Estate Company has been doing business with ABC for over a decade. Had my tenant call for service and she was charged $50. more than the regular price. Called Tammy about it to save my tenant the extra charge and she said she didn't mention my company name. Easy fix, right? Nope! She wouldn't change the price, but would think about it. Got the bill and was surprised she didn't change it?? Emailed her and wanted to speak to the owner. She just asked about the address and never responded? I sent follow up emails and realized she ghosted me. So much for loyalty! Too bad I had to give a star to post.

We moved into a 1927 craftsman bungalow in Bay View three years ago knowing its plumbing had some quirks. Those quirks apparently included roots, but we didn't know until today.
