I had a pleasant experience using Mr.Rooter plumbing. My technician Gavin was nice and very effective at explaining what was needed to fix the issue I was having. Not only was he effective at his explanation he was efficient. He was able to replace my faucet in about an hour which let me get on to the rest of my day quickly. Also I enjoy the way the new faucet look. I’d highly recommend 10/10

Water heater failed, and I didn’t notice until I had to take a cold shower. Called at midnight, they were there at 9AM, and a few hours later my old water heater (50 gal) was replaced with a similar one. Leaky valve also replaced, total came to $3300! Great value and quality of work.

Noah from Mr. Rooter just left my house. He was on time/even early. Explained what needed fixing, as well as what other options may be needed depending on how detailed the job was. No matter how much repair was needed, he had everything in his truck so there was no waiting. Luckily, the least amount of repair and damage needed tending too, so he fixed, cleaned and disinfected. Mr Rooter has always been my go to place. Noah's service exemplified this business once again.

The scheduler Jessica was extremely responsive on a holiday weekend, and the tech Bryce that came out two days later was extremely professional and friendly. We had the entire tank and plumbing valve replaced within three hours, during a small snowstorm. The working conditions weren’t favorable, as the hot water tank was in a smaller crawlspace that required ducking in an out of a door below ground level on a hill in the snow, and the tech was fast, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter!!Edit: I called them today (June 6) to schedule a faucet leak repair, and they were able to send a plumber out same day. He diagnosed the issue and fix the faucet, and also diagnosed a faulty washer in a shut off valve, and suggested that we replace them soon. He indicated he had the parts if we wanted them replaced today - amazing service and I really appreciate how he took the time to explain what was going on with the secondary leak and how it didn’t need to be addressed immediately. I felt like there was zero pressure to fix it today, and I very much appreciated that. I did end up asking to have them replaced, and I am thrilled with the work.

The technicians are very friendly and professional. I appreciate their service. The only thing I don't like is they told me they were not going to fix the wall which he opened a hole in order to fix the faucet. I have to find someone to fix it for me. So it seems the work is not completed yet. My suggestion it is perfect if the technician can fix the wall after plumbing work. Thank you very much!

It’s pretty unfortunate. We had this company out to clear a clog in our kitchen/laundry line. The tech, while very pleasant and nice, used various rooters, and spent about three hours attempting to clear the line, but ultimately wasn’t able to. We hired another company to come out the next day who used a small rooter and was able to clear the clog in about an hour. While we got a discount from Mr. Rooter, we’re ultimately a little unhappy that we had to pay for the same service type twice to get the job done.

The technician who came was great at communicating, very quick and a pleasure to work with. He gave me clear transparent explanations of what problems there were and what options we had as well as why he was doing what he did. I could tell by his work, demeanor and attitude that he valued honesty and transparency w/ the customer and wanted to solve the problem for the long haul. Waiting to see how everything goes with getting reimbursed by the HOA since he assured me the issues were their responsibility but this technician was amazing and won a loyal customer today. Keep Mr. Miranda with you until he retires Mr. Rooter!

Additional charges were tacked into the bill for fuel and environmental charge. This I was not charged for on their last visit. Also tried to upsell me additional 175 in labor and parts that were not failing (tank filler valve) - that they installed 6 months prior.Based on this visit, I would not recommend Mr. Rooter.

I called in the morning and Dominique arrived within 2 hours. She resolved our issue (blocked main line) quickly, expertly and was a delight! Her level of service and efficiency was appreciated and I will absolutely use Mr. Rooter again.

Noah showed up and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was efficient and ended up charging exactly what he estimated at the beginning of the job. He not only cleaned up, but he sanitized and left the bathroom looking great.Most of the services out there over-charge and provide an under-whelming experience.I am happy to report, not only were we charged fairly, but the customer service that Noah gave was pleasant and very hard to find these days.

Dale and Atama arrived very early in the 10 - 2 window I was given and replaced my leaking toilet with a shiny new, non leaking one. I really appreciate their pricing which is by the job rather than by the hour and how clearly everything is explained. It was a great experience overall and I will absolutely call them for my plumbing needs going forward.

Our old water heater was 12 years old, and basically shot. Noah - the Mr Rooter tech - replaced it with a new one, and it works perfectly. Noah's work was exemplary! He was meticulous and diligent in completing the install. This was the 2nd or 3rd time we've used the services of Mr Rooter, and have always been very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend them. Be sure and ask for Noah!

Noah did an awesome job in cleaning drain. He patiently and professionally explained each step while cleaning. He also cleaned up the closet and floor so I don’t need to worry too much about the mess. I would highly recommend Noah and Mr. Rooter because they are the best I have ever seen!

Woke up on a Monday morning to find my shower and toilets clogged. Called them at 6:45AM and they told me all their technicians were currently on a job, but will call me back ASAP to schedule a service. They LITERALLY called me 10 minutes after and had a technician arrive at 9AM that day. The technician, Anthony C., did an AMAZING job and explained the situation to me every step of the way. Great customer service, super fast response time, and an incredible value for a drain cleaning! I highly recommend! Thanks for doing an amazing job Anthony!

Super happy with my experience with this company. They were very professional and very helpful. Every drain in my house was mess and everytime you ran the washing machine it backed up into the bathtub. The technician was able to fix a multitude of different issues with the plumbing for a very fair price. Super pleased with the service. Will absolutely recommend to others.

Had a blockage in the main sewer line and needed help fast over a holiday weekend. I was impressed with the service crew’s response and professionalism. I didn’t expect it would be cheap, but I didn’t think the cost was out of line, considering the circumstances. They took care of the blockage issue then scoped out the line to find reasons for the blockage and provided estimates for further work. The family is much happier now!

Had them out for a sewer line clean out. Felt like the person was trying to up sell me, from the moment he saw the issue, like he was trying to lay the concept that it might not clear. Didn’t seem right. After spending about an hour, he didn’t have success. That cost us over $500. Next the supervisor comes and runs the camera (included in the clean out cost.) And then determines that we need a new exterior two way clean out installed, for over $5000.00! Nope, not without another opinion. Called Rotor Rooter the next day, had to pay another $600.00 but the guy worked for over two hours and ultimately was able to clear our line. Just saying…

Miles and Ian surveyed the problem and assessed the myriad methods for the repair. When we decided on the fix they determined the part for the outdated faucet was only available at an outside vendor, ordered it, drove to get it and returned in short order, made the fix and that was that. One of the best experiences I ever had with plumbers!

Worked with Noah. Very professional - ended up staying well after hours with no overtime charge in order to make sure the job was finished before our family left for vacation in the morning. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. Great experience!

Bryce was very thorough and professional. Our plumbing is a bit out-of-date, so it was a challenge finding parts that fit, but he made it work even though the job took him longer than expected. We appreciate the professionalism!

There was some tile coloration in one of my guest bathrooms. Tommy arrived on time for the leak detection. He very carefully checked both the wall and crawl space and ruled out possibility of water leak in both places. He answered my questions very patiently and gave some very useful suggestions. He did not even take the 39 dollars check fee because he preferred to take money by getting some real work done. To me, what he did was real and good work. Five start and will definitely do business with Tommy in future.

Fast, quality day-of service. The plumbers also gave great preventative advice to save us money down the road. They also cleaned up after the job which saved me additional time.

While the initial repair service by the tech was great, the follow up from the manager Jonathan was terrible. This was a special case and instead of handling it with professionalism, he was extremely rude, combative and condescending. Would not recommend.

The crew arrived on time, performed the fix well, informed me about the cheapest way, i.e. not necessarily the most lucrative option for the business, but definitely for the customer. We will use this company for our future needs as well. This is how you earn a customer.

Would recommend Mr. Rooter to others based on my positive experience with our house call and dealing with the office scheduling the work. Office was great to communicate with and up front about delays on the first day but didn't leave me waiting for the appointment window to find out it needed to be rescheduled. Really liked our plumber and will definitely ask for him by name for any future work. You will have a repeat customer for any future plumbing issues.

The technician did a trap clean out to ensure that we would not have a back up and cleaned our trap. They were easy to schedule he was on time and I believe he did a great job. You can’t ask for more.

Mr. Rooter installed a new tankless water heater for us, and we are very pleased with the overall quality of their craftsmanship and their top notch customer service. Their price was competitive, and they treated our job with the utmost respect and urgency, which we deeply appreciate. The physical installation appears clean, with one year warranty on the installation offered if we should ever need it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience using Mr. Rooter. I called with a drain clog problem and was told a queue ticket had been created with someone to call me back to set up an appointment. Later that day I got a call and possible days/times a technician could come out. Scheduled for the next day and was told our window was from 8am - 12pm, and we’d get another call when the technician was about 30 min out. At 8:15 we got our call and the tech was at out house within 10 min. They assessed the problem, gave us 2 quote options, and once approved, performed their maintenance. Dustin was our technician and he did a fabulous job! Drain was unclogged and running well, all for under $500. 10/10 would recommend! Luckily, our problem didn’t require immediate attention, though I have no doubt that if it did, Mr. Rooter would have accommodated us accordingly.

Called late last night to unclog kitchen sink drain they responded by showing up at my house today by 9AM. Bal was knowledgeable professional and quickly took care of the job. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter in general and Bal in particular.

Tech was very courteous and explained the process and what was happening - we went from having a clogged drain to clear in about 20 minutes, with some helpful suggestions if it happens again! They did miss the original appointment time, but they told us well ahead of time (at least a couple hours) so there were no issues - it's been a busy week I'm sure, with low temperatures and holidays leading to more emergency calls.All in all, we'd 100% go with them again if there's any issues or we need to make any changes!

Mr. Rooters answered immediately when called and they were available to schedule an appointment the next day. The plumbers were on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and professional. They were able to locate the issue immediately and were transparent with how much it would cost and the parts needed. There were no surprises because he explained what all of the outcomes could be and the worst case scenario. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. Great service, great experience. So happy to have this issue resolved.

Mr. Rooter was less than half of the first quote I received. The job took 2 days with minimal interpretations. Manny was the person who did all the work and he is amazing! Very professional and had great communication on what he was doing. I have my water back and absolutely no complaints!

Prompt response when calling for a quote for work on the main line to our house without a call out fee to get a quote. Under promised and seriously over delivered on time to complete the job. Agreed to an upsell of a new water heater that I have been putting off doing myself for several months and got a substantial discount on the job since they were already on site. While I hope not to need the services again soon, I will call them if I do.

Professional, friendly and fixed the washing machine drain problem as well as fixing my front door so it opened smoothly. (I didn’t ask - he just noticed it and fixed it) I have used Mr Rooter for years and will continue to do so.

Had a pretty bad water heater leak. Called and they were able to send someone over and fix my problem. I recommend and will do business with them again.

Tanner was very thorough and gave a great assessment of what needed to be done and what price points we were looking at. He fixed our broken sink pipe and made sure all other faucets were working in the house. I asked him if he knew anything about dishwashers since I hadn’t been able to use mine in months because the buttons would just blink and not do anything when pressed. He politely stated that the lock button was on and proceeded to unlock it for me 😅 Now I can finally use our sink AND dishwasher 🙌🏻 Thank you, Tanner!

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH ROTO ROOTER (who is awful). We had a cleanout installed, hydrojetting, and lining done for 60ft of pipe. Our point of contact, Ken, was super responsive and knowledgeable. Our project ended up taking a few more days than anticipated due to excavation being harder and additional pipes being found but the team was very diligent in working through the problems and did whatever they could to minimize impacts of the digging. They got inspections done super fast as well.

Mr Rooter quickly diagnosed a problem with my septic pump and was able to fix it same-day. Highly recommended!

I had a slow kitchen sink drain that was slow in my 50s era rambler. I called Mr Rooter on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me in within two hours. The tech arrived and assessed the problem and gave me a bid. We agreed and they went to work. Brought the motorized snake in and went about 40 ft and was able to get the sink flowing. He ran a couple double sink fulls to make sure it was truly cleared, very thorough. He cleaned up as if he’d never been there. He explained the 30 warranty and I am happy with the service

Mr Rooter is the best. Called Xmas day got an appointment in 2 days. Alex. M.came on time he listened to me he was a miracle plumber unclogged the basement drain, changed the pipe to utility sink, fixed my toilet, and unclogged my bathtub drain. I highly recommend Mr Rooter and Alex M. Is the best. He needs a raise. He is so professional and knows his plumbing.

I would 100% recommend Mr. Rooter. I was in a panic when my downstairs flooded!! I called Mr. Rooter and they came out quickly! Benjamin (Ben) is such a pleasure to work with. He explained everything that was going to be done and showed me how much it was going to cost. He really had a lot of empathy. My sewer pipe had to be replaced and I didn't get the names of the two guys who replaced my sewer pipe, but all of the people I dealt with at Mr. Rooter were great!! Take it from me, if you need a plumber and/or a sewer pipe to be replaced I would definitely call Mr. Rooter. Thank you all for making my nightmare a little bit bearable. I appreciate each and every one of you who I met.

I can back to a clogged drain after a several week vacation and and initially had roto rooter come out to take a look. They said there was no way to fix the issue without installing a new clean out which would cost $10,000. Fortunately I decided to get a second opinion from me rooter. We worked with Zack who immediately figured out the problem. He was able to fix the clog in about 20 minutes for under $100. I’ll definitely call these guys next time I have an issue.

Dale was very knowledgeable, remembered my system from 2.5 years ago and quickly resolved the water pressure issue I had. He also took on a follow up for finding hard-to-find replacement parts for a sink faucet. Very happy with Dale and Mr. Rooter!

Alex showed up right on time . He identified the problem immediately. He was very communicative during the whole process. He instructed me on what he was going to do. He did a fantastic job. Discovered water leaking in my kitchen on a Friday night. Mr. Rooter was able to come out the next day- they called to communicate the timeline and were on time. Technician quickly found source of the leak. Very professional and affordable. I usually feel swindled by plumbers- I felt like the price was more than reasonable for the service.

I had no problem with the work that was done - they did a great job! The problem we had was with our own personal property.Bird seed container - moved it from its covered spot and left it out in the open - it rained so all the bird seed got wet.Humming bird pole moved from its original location and used to hold up the orange plastic netting surrounding the hole in the ground.

Zach was extremely helpful and friendly, putting us/his customers first for sure. He responded on a holiday and took care of our drain clog that was impacting our whole house. We were first time customers and we felt like we received VIP/return customer service.

I needed a faucet and garbage disposal installed and had gotten another outrageously overpriced bid so was thrilled when they could come out the next day after my call. The bid was fair, they were able to do the work the same day. Shaquille was professional, knowledgeable and very customer service driven. He was so careful with the property, explained things in a “common sense” and understandable manner. I would use them again and highly recommend them!

The plumber was extremely efficient very friendly brought the work in much sooner than everyone expected. He was knowledgeable in everything he did and was able to answer all my plumbing questions. This was all done outside in the pouring rain. The guy deserves a raise

I had a couple of things. New water heater, new toilet, new shower system. They did it all in a day. With an HOA and secure building there were lots of extra rules, but they were very professional about it and were able to navigate everything realty well.

Before I called Mr Rooter, I started to use another company named Flohawks on 19th of Dec. They could finish the job until Jan 3rd. The efficiency and cost was horrible. I got another bid and it was outrageous. Then I called Mr Rooter. They came abd fixed within two days. It was day and night differences. I am glad I could use Mr Plumber.

I called Mr Rooter and I was scheduled for an appointment for the same day. Raymond (the technician) arrived on time and the office gave me a call 30 minutes prior to his arrival. Raymond quickly diagnosed the issue and presented me a list of options. He did not pressure me into picking a particular solution and he offered the pros and cons of each approach. I was given an estimate and Raymond completed the job on budget in about 30 minutes. He cleaned up the job site before leaving.

I was able to get service for a non emergency leak within 24 hours. The tech, Dustin, was in on the early end of the window, and was very helpful and informative. The service and work was definitely five stars!Mr. Rooter has the best consultation fee of the plumbers I contacted. This was a primary reason for my going with this business.It was a little over $400 to swap out 2 valves, which is the only reason I’m doing 4 stars. Again, the service was excellent!!! No complaint at all about the professionalism and quality of work. I don’t think they are the ones who set the fees, rather the business. I do have to say, I appreciate that the fee was shared before the work was done, so I knew what it would be. It was just high for the scope/difficulty of the swap. Kind wish I would have done it myself, but oh well. Live and learn!

We had a bad clog in our basement and I didn’t want to risk damage to my floors or mold so after trying to clear it myself, I immediately called a few companies. Most were several days out. Mr. Rooter was fast! I called and Baldemar was here within 2 hours of my call. I received an estimate for the work within 15 minutes. He was extremely professional, respectful of my home and kept a clean workspace and stayed true to his original estimate! I couldn’t ask for faster, better service!

I usually don't leave any reviews but my experience with this company was very negative. I paid over $4,200 to get about 5 feet of pipe replaced which took about an hour. The guy who came was also trying to find any excuse to charge me more money. For example, he told me he wanted to replace 10 feet of pipe instead of the five with no real reason to do it. He also mentioned he wanted to charge me $800 (was offering a 50% off so $400) to pull my dishwasher and reinstall it when there was not point in reinstalling the dishwasher right after he was done as he had cut a hole in the wall to do the job so I had to get that fixed before reinstalling the dishwasher. I felt ripped off for having paid over $4k for such a job so I reached out to them and asked them for an invoice including the breakdown of the costs to better understand why I was charged so much but never received such document. Lastly, the technician made an unnecessarily hole in the ceiling in one of my bathrooms (because that wasn't even the location of the pipe) and threw a bunch of debris down the toilet included a blade he had used to cut a pipe. I am not sure if this was done because he was just being careless or with the intention to get my toilet clogged in the hopes of getting more money, either way, I am happy I saw that before I flushed the toilet. Based on my negative experience, I would not recommend this business to anybody.

The work was fine. However, it would have been great if the technician had given me the serial number off of the disposal before he installed it. I’m 73 years old and it was difficult for me to get down under the sink to find the serial number on the back side of the disposal. I needed to submit my registration for my warrany. Also, your price was a little higher than most.

We needed a faucet switched out and had gotten a quote from another business for a super high amount due to the way the former homeowners had installed the last one. After trying for weeks to remove the old faucet to no avail I called these guys. They also acknowledged it was a challenging job but kept trying different tactics and got it done and didn’t overcharge or take a long time. Super polite on the phone and super smart workmanship.

I was able to get non emergency service within a day. Tommy got into the crawl space to see things up close. Zero speculation. Zero BS. Knowledgeable. Clear language. Well groomed. Treated me respectfully. 5 stars.

Called on a Sunday early morning and was scheduled for a technician between 4-7 the same night. No charge for a quote. We have a clean out and needed better equipment then what we could obtain to clean out the drain. Very professional and extremely well priced. I will definitely be giving them a call for future needs and uses.

Just had them install a replacement main water line to my house.My house was built in the late 80s, and recently started leaking water outside my house (found out from a letter from the utility due to abnormal 24/7 water activity, as well as a puddle forming near my driveway). Given the material that was used when they built the house and the time that has passed it seems this was something that was overdue to happen.I was provided with a quote for finding the leak (which I could also do myself if I chose), fixing the leak, or just replacing the entire line given that a new leak could form somewhere else with the old line/material. I chose the full replacement, which was $1,000+ cheaper than other companies, and did not involve removing any concrete (as other companies planned). They also didn't need to touch any of my plants when they dug the trench (which was needed due to proximity to other utilities, which the other companies did not correctly assume and planned on boring, which would have either been problematic or added unexpected costs).Service was performed as planned. Nothing unexpected came up. Solid clean up. Only complaint was that it took awhile for the city/county to come out to inspect. Not really their fault, and somewhat expected since they were able to start so quickly (literally the day after I called to schedule service). Had I scheduled the service more in advance I'm sure an inspection would have happened sooner.

They will always have an expensive option, and hold no grudges when I choose a more budget-friendly solution. Quality good, plumbers are careful and friendly.

Tommy Hagerman is professional from his estimate and the clean up after the job was finished. I was surprised to be able to have the new toilet installed within two (2) hours. The work and products used are top-notch. We will definitely use this service again when needed

I called yesterday evening the phone rang two times the lady who answered set me up for an appointment for the next day! My plumber was a man name Nicolas ! Nicolas is a true rockstar! Knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient and neat! He got everything replaced within an hour! I wanted to buy him a Red Bull but he was already off to his next job! All I can say is wow I’m so thankful that I called this company and I will be using them again in the future! bravo Roto router! 5 stars!

Highly recommend these guys! We had a backup in our basement bathroom and laundry room, tub wouldn’t drain, water leaking from base of toilet and behind washing machine, so called and they sent someone out the next morning, and Alec and Ben were great! They were super helpful, and professional. Thought at first we were looking at a $6500 repair to cut thru the floor to replace the pipe, but they were able to break through the clog with a line/cable and cleared it as much as they could, and gave us a couple options to try first, before just jumping right to the most expensive, extreme option. I had a leak in my basement that I rog was from a ruptured pipe related to the forceful frozen rain situation. It wasn't, but the faucet was open a little and he turned it all the way off. I thought I had when I noticed it was leaking. He felt it was a foundation issue.My sump pump was showing spewing water because it had become detracted from the pipe. He fixed that and he also sent a picture of the basement leak to his boss who also agreed it was a foundation issue.I've used Mr Rooter before and have always been happy with the work.Happy HolidaysJanet

This review is right after installation. So I can’t comment on the quality or value yet. But I can say excellent customer service. The price was $100 more than another quote I got. But I appreciate the technician coming out for the free estimate whereas the other company would only come out if I was hiring them for the job.

Had a backup in my kitchen sink and laundry line. When the plumber (Keenan) arrived he attended to the problem. He was very professional and thorough. Everything was explained to me in detail so I could understand and make a well informed decision. As he got to work he saw that there were additional issues. I was given a good estimate and given a breakdown. Keenan planned for every contingency but fortunately only had to use a few. He made sure to minimize the mess and cleaned as he went. Grade A service from start to finish. I will definitely use again and recommend.

Our basement was filling up with water and we weren't sure why. Nick noticed immediately that our archaic plumbing wasn't installed properly and let me know that any backup would cause the basement to flood. Sure enough, when he cut it open, there was a major backup. Nick had great communication throughout the whole process and let me know about all the potential roadblocks that may lead an increase in price. Fortunately, he was able to get creative, avoided charging more, and also was able to make repairs without jackhammering up the concrete, which was a major possibility. Absolutely worth mentioning that he was kind and personable as well. Mr. Rooter will be my first call the next time we run into a plumbing issue.

I called around 10am and they gave me an appointment between 12 and 4 that same day. Alex was there very close to 12 and was done installing my new water heater by 3. Everyone I dealt with was very prompt and professional.

Update: seriously disappointed. I have a leak around my toilet since they came out the first time. Trying to find out if it’s covered and there’s no way to get an actual person at the office. No matter what number you call you get the call center. And all the call center can do is have them call back. Not gonna work if I’m currently working and don’t answer unknown numbers. Not cool guys. When I called back when my sewer Main broke I was actually able to talk to a lovely receptionist. Now I get a call center. Not doing business with them again. I shouldn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops just to get a simple question answered.We had a sewer main break at our house. They were out the next day to assess what needed to be done. The next day they started work to repair the pipe. Everything was so quick which is great when there are three people using one bathroom. Definitely happy with the team and the work they did.

Dustin came to our house today to put in the plumbing for the kitchen and powder room sinks. He was the answer to our Christmas prayer. Home Depot hired NORWESTKNR to complete our project. But their work has been so fragmented and incomplete that I have had to hire others to do the work they were paid last January to do.We had no kitchen to cook in for Thanksgiving and then last week they announced that we would have no water in the kitchen and powder room. My children and grandchildren are on their way to have Christmas with us. NO URGENCY on their part to get someone someone out here.Update to the original one star review: It took 4 days, but they were able to resolve the problems. So far, everything looks like it's working fine.I had an appointment on Monday to have a leak in the bathroom sink repaired and the garbage disposal replaced. The technicians came and did the work. After leaving, the bathroom sink started leaking again and, although the garbage disposal worked, BOTH kitchen sinks were leaking. This was a new problem. I called that evening and got the 1pm to 5pm window for Tuesday. Different technicians came, worked on everything and said they felt confident all was fixed. Tuesday night one side of the kitchen sink dripped a bit. Wednesday morning it began to drip again so I called again. Got the 1 to 5pm window for the same day. After I hung up, I turned on the garbage disposal and nothing. Called back to add that to today's list of work. Now I sit waiting on day 3. I wasn't going to leave a review until this is resolved but I got a text asking for a review. I'm slowly losing patience, but I hope they will do all they can to make this right. After all the calls and problems though, I would think this would be more of a priority.

Brandon was very quick in diagnosing my broken garbage disposal and told me exactly what unit to buy (since it was significantly more cost effective to pick up myself) and got me set up with a new appointment the next morning.Tyler came the next morning and was very nice. He got the unit installed in less than an hour and it seems to work fine with no leaks. I'm told they have a warranty on their work, so I'm sure if anything went wrong I could bring them back in.I like how easy it was to book online, and they were very communicative the whole time. They whole thing was pretty painless. The final cost ended up being $390.94 for the install. I know nothing about the industry or if that's appropriate, but at the end of the day, this stress is over with and I'm just glad they were so fast and easy.I hope everyone is as nice and helpful as these two. Had a standing clog in my kitchen drain that I couldn't fix myself, so I gave them a call. The plumber arrived within 90 minutes of my call. The plumber was very professional and courteous and got the job done within 15 minutes!

I discovered that my kitchen sink was clogged at 9 AM and I had a fantastic technician that arrived at around 3:30 PM (same day service!) The technician (Michael) was fantastic - he removed the drainpipe to diagnose the problem. He found that a small glass jar had fallen in the drain. He carefully removed the glass and cleared the drain. My disposal and pipe were cleared out - problem fixed! After, he helped to tighten the faucet because it was loose. I offered to pay for that additional work and he graciously declined. Michael is spectacular and so was the communication from morning to the service time. Thanks Mr. Rooter! Happy customer here!

He (Dustin) showed up right on time, gave a reasonable quote, promptly did the work, and also did a few extra things like a new pipe thing under the sink, wiped down the sink, cleaned, he certainly went way above and beyond, and made a wonderful impression for the business. He is a fantastic representation for what I hoped this business would be like. I had a terrible experience a year ago with roto rooter and I was dreading having another bad experience but this was so much better than I could have imagined. He was very professional, efficient, and able to communicate well and explain his plan of action. We agreed on two options if plan A didn't work. He had all his tools and equipment on the truck for the job and got right to it. The result was a success and done in a reasonable amount of time. I will ask for him again.

Tanner helped us by fixing a leak in our front yard. The water leak was flooding our front lawn and it was pretty intense. Tanner was able to locate the exact place of the leak and repaired it in a timely manner. He was also super professional and reassuring that our stressful water situation would be fixed. We really appreciated his help and expertise. We will call Mr. Rooter Plumbing again if we have another need in the future and would love to work with Tanner again.

I highly recommend Mr. Rooter, very professional and fast in doing the job right away. I have a problem with clog water pipe causing low pressure for the hot water and they fixed it. I have other plumbing company come and checked it and they could not fix the problem and charged me twice the amount that I paid for the service now. The technician that did the service was Keenon White.

I had thes handles replaced many times but they kept leaking. This quick replacement took 15 minutes. Hot water finally turns off. Thank you Mr.Rooter's Plumber Ray and his helper for getting it fixed. I call at 9am. They came at a little bit before 1pm. Out the door at 1:15pm.

The service technician that came to my house and inspected the issue was a nice guy however I was quoted more than $700 to repair a quick release outdoor spigot (at the time, I didn't know it would take less than 10 minutes to swap it out). Luckily, I didn't give these thieves the job and went with an honest plumber who charged me $100! Unbelievable. Watch out for this company. Call someone else!

I felt fool by calling them who didn't have any idea how to put the disposal back which I opened. They said it's broken before investigating all the parts and how it comes together. They gave me a quote for $1700 and claimed the disposal itself cost 1000+. I searched with the exact brand in Amazon and didn't find anything that costs more than $200. Fun part is, after their departure, it took me 2/3 minutes to put it back. I felt stupid by calling them which did cost me $40 and disruption during my office hour.

Tyler is so professional and thorough. We had our first experience with him a few years ago and today we had him out to repair a toilet. His customer service is above substantial and the work he does is flawless.

Our old water heater failed and we called a few different places to replace it. Mr. Rooter was responsive and quick. Our service professional John, was very knowledgeable and we got a great deal on an upgraded water heater for less than expected. So grateful for the fast response and making sure the area was clean after he left. Not having hot water isn't a crazy emergency, but life was better getting it back running quickly!

Quick response, courteous, fair prices, and great work! Had to replace a water heater and reached out to several plumbers. Got the quickest response from Mr Rooter. Comparing quotes, they were right on. Scheduling was very flexible and willing to work around us. Even was able to come earlier than originally planned. Would do work with them again in the future.

No disrespect to the company. They responded, were professional over the phone, and came out the next day to give a quote. We needed to get our garbage disposal replaced. Understood they couldn’t give a quote over the phone as they don’t know the scope of the job. Once they got out to check it, they quoted $800 to replace with pretty much the same exact model. Had a badger 5, were replacing with badger 500. So pretty much the same. We said no and I picked up a badger 500 from Home Depot for $120 and power cable for $14. Replaced in under 20 minutes myself. Very simple as it was a direct replacement. But he saw the work so don’t understand it. I guess the going rate for labor is over 600 an hour. My mind was blown at how simple the task was and how much they were going to charge. Honestly would have paid 300 to 400 for the job to save me a trip to the store and 30 minutes of my time, but no way anyone should ever pay $800 for this simple job. Shocked

Mr. Rooter saved the day!! My kitchen sink was clogged in a house I just bought which is an old house with weird plumbing. They were easy to schedule with, even on Memorial Day. They didn't upcharged me for the holiday. I called on Sunday night and they came out Monday morning on Memorial Day. They successfully unclogged my pipes and even showed me extra features in my house.

They don’t charge service fee no matter you decide to go with their solution or not.All other company all charge $75 for inspections or service charge for the visit.and the technician was very professional!But it is very expensive! They want to charge me $650.00 for replacing a $40.00 Check valve which only takes 5 minutes labor. I eventually declined their service after failed to negotiate the price. And got replaced by myself.Do your research, homeowners!

When we had a series issue the day after Christmas, with snow on the ground and endless Covid, but you guys made it to our house and put me at ease. We had another company come look before you and we didn’t feel comfortable with their prices or games they were playing. Tracy at the office was great, the timing checking and arrival were as expected, the plumber was pleasant and professional. The price was beyond outrageous. He was here less than an hour and the charge was $624 with minimal parts. No senior discount or AAA, AARP or Veteran discounts. People good - prices horrible and not commensurate with the service

We had a faucet valve emergency with flooding involved and when calling around to find someone to help us either no one was answering or they were too busy. When I called Mr. Rooter the amazing woman that answered was so patient and understanding with my frantic story and stated her service techs were on a job over a hour away and not sure when they would be done but I could call back if we couldn’t find anyone sooner so I continued calling around. Not even five minutes later I received a call back from her saying they were done and could be to me within 45 minutes. Close if not before 45 minutes later they showed up very professional, quoted and got everything repaired in no time. The only thing I wish was different is I would of called them sooner instead of trying to fix it ourselves. These guys were on a very long day and they still had positive, friendly and professional attitudes. I am huge on customer service and I am so thankful thats exactly what I got. Keenan went above and beyond with the difficult task of changing out my old rusty galvanized water pipes!

We had Brandon come to check for a source of a leak. He was polite, didn't make me feel like my questions were dumb, and tried to help give info for a temporary fix if we needed to go that route however we ended up paying for him to repair it anyhow. He explained the process as it was ongoing, did it as efficiently as he could, and cleaned up after the job was done. The first day for the diagnostic visit we had an appointment between 8 am and noon which i was called at 10 am that he would be later than that, so that bit was frustrating, but he was on time the next day.I would 100% have brandon do work for us again.As far as fees, the diagnostic was about 40$, which is applied to the repair if you move forward. The total bill was not cheap, but maybe this is average prices...i don't know.

We used Mr. Rooter to do a major repair to our sewer line that was under a major arterial in West Seattle. Their bid came in about 20% less than our other bids. Ken was responsive, professional and helpful throughout the whole process, helping us deal with the city and our neighbor (who we share the line with) to get the job done. We’ll use them again in the future if the need comes up.

Both Michael and Daniel were very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Talked honestly about processes and offered slight discount when rooting process went quicker than anticipated. While they were not able to fully resolve our issue they gave us a good picture of the situation and offered recommendations for other solutions.

Great service. Our water heater pipes were leaking, the technician came down right on time and was very professional. I was given an estimate within about 2 minutes on his ipad. Price was fair. Although he did unfortunately damage a very small section of the 20 year old plastic pipe (it was super brittle, not his fault) he fixed that up too for the same cost overall. Whole thing was done in about 3.5 hours. Totally will use these people again, I even appreciate how professional and timely they were on the phone too. This place has it down to a science!! Mr. Rooter was able to get me a next day appointment, which was great. I wasn’t sure if I had a clog or a bigger problem when water was backing up into my bathtub. Our water heater cracked on the 4th of July. I called and was able to make an appointment for a tech to come out the next morning. Jonathan was our tech. He was friendly, efficient, and left the area clean. Prices were reasonable. Very happy with the timeliness of the company.

Basement flooded and did not stop for 2 days. Kyle and Manny of Mr.Rooter came early morning on the third day immediately after my phone call and out of desperation I begged they install a sump pump and stop the leak. They both said they can get to work immediately that day! They cleared their schedule and after 3 days of tireless work, they not only stopped the flooding after 5 hours, but they created a French drain, threw out my water damaged appliances, all the dirt and debris they created, and channeled all the incoming groundwater into my Sump Pump! They were courteous the entire time, were up front with the cost, showed me everything they did whenever I asked, and cleaned up everything as if they were never there. Words cannot describe the comfort I felt that they got the flood handled and they were calm the entire time the water kept creeping in until they handled it. The handy work is top notch and were friendly throughout the process. At the beginning they told us to go get some sleep and that they would work until the problem was solved knowing fully well we were awake for 3 days straight. I would recommend their services to others, especially these 2 fellas who really enjoyed their work as they were doing it. They even dumped the excess dirt from the basement foundation into my lawn as per my request to help me grade my soil and at many times piled it nearly along the porch, much extra work than I needed but they were just great. While other companies were booked until the next week, these guys helped me the moment I needed it and it shows they are worth the money I paid. They worked closely with their JourneyMan who guided them with certain aspects of the repair so I got the sense that there was a great support team they had to ensure the work was done correctly and that they wouldn't need to come back.

I hired them for finding a water leak. They were prompt and send a person over. He made a dry wall cut on the wrong wall and only realized it after making the cut. And to fix the pipe removed whole chunk of exterior wall stud cause the tool didn’t fit in the space. Like couldn’t have picked a worst company to fix the job. I feel like I have a much bigger issue to get a fix for now. Don’t trust the good ratings on google like I did. Terrible so far. I called the company to see what they can do waiting for the response

Mr Rooter was able to clear some drains that caused our building's parking lots to flood during heavy rain. Their service was scheduled for when we got snow and they proactively notified me they had to reschedule for the next day, totally understandable, and I appreciated the proactive communication.Their employees were kind and easy to work with. I had hot water heater issues and was struggling to find a company that would keep their appointment. I called Mr Rooter and they said they would be out between noon and 4 same day. Perfect! But soon after I made that appointment they called and said someone in the area was freed up and could come right away. Even better! Diagnosis wasn’t ideal, but the change out was quick and I’m very much looking forward to hot water after two days without lol

We had a burst pipe for an outdoor faucet. There was no crawl space access so the technician needed to open up the wall in two separate locations in order to access the issue. Before opening the second hole, we discussed the increased price for labor (had to go through a built in book case). Kept me informed every step of the way and removed all wet insulation as well.

It’s always a tricky business trying to find a reliable repair person for a trade-skill, while hoping that you will not be gouged on the price. So long as you stick with what you need repaired, or replaced, I would use Mr. Rooter again. I know it is their job to upsell on full restoration for people with their forever home, but they were happy to get me the lowest cost as well. Be clear with what you need done, and don’t accept more if it can be avoided.I am incredibly handy and from a family of contractors, but ran into some frozen valves that I could not get to budge. The plumber that was sent was happy to attempt to repair the valves if possible, and was willing to write it off and just go with a replacement if it could not be repaired. As a student on low income, I appreciate this flexibility. The willingness to work with me goes much then the actual service itself, but the actual service was also incredible. My plumber had 30 years of experience, and that reflected in the work that was done. I have spent weeks trying to get these valves unfrozen, and they were able to do it in under 20 minutes. It cost me $500 for a replacement cartridge, manual labor, and the time to get to my home. Worth it in my opinion. Other quotes were +$1500

Over a year ago Mr Rooter did me a solid. I could not get the pilot light on my water heater to light ( I do know how to do that) so I thought I had a bigger issue. They came out and the technician got it to light and when I was embarrassed about it just told me it happens and didn't charge me anything! Fast forward a year later, my pilot light wouldn't light again. Since the technician had given me wonderful tips, I knew I had a real issue. They came out the same day and confirmed I had an issue. The part took a little while to come through but I was willing to wait because their service had been so good. From the person who took my call to the technician that came out everything was professional. I would definitely call them again.

Contacted them the day before Thanksgiving after noticing a water leak on the floor.They were able to come out that day to diagnose, obtained the water heater after Thanksgiving and install it a week later which was the earliest day I could schedule it. I can't remember the name of the plumber who came but he was amazing! He was very polite and even removed his shoes before entering! He followed all covid procedures without having to be asked! He shared how I can do the repair myself, tips on how to clean my garbage disposal, even how to keep it smelling fresh and tips on how to prevent needing repairs in the future! If I need plumbing work in the future, which let's hope I don't! I will be calling them again!

Had some roots growing in my pipes. Other plumbers wanted to charge $17,000 to excavate and place new pipes, and said hydro jetting would almost definitely damage the pipes. Mr. Rooter came to inspect, and said they could eaaily clear the blockage with a hydrojet without damaging the pipes. They charged $1200 to hydrojet, and now everything works great!

Very responsive and friendly technician. Price was exactly as quoted before the job started. One drain was not able to be unclogged with an auger so will need to dispatch another team for hydro jet cleaning. Did not charge me for the drain that was unable to be augered. Bao was great!

The service was exceptional. The serviceman did diagnostics on my water heater and helped me weigh the options to either repair or replace. Once I made the decision to replace, he stayed until the job was complete. He was polite and considerate and his work was flawless. The company did not nickel and dime the project, they gave me a quote and even though I think the job was bigger than expected, they charged for the original quote. I had a major clog in the sewer main line. The first person Mr. Rooter sent out tried to snake it clear, with no success. A second person, Ryan, came out the next day with his camera equipment, which confirmed the issue. We decided to try a hydro scrub (high pressure water) to clear the line. Later that day, Jim, the Hydro tech, came out and he managed to clear the line. The next day, Ryan came back with his camera to attempt to identify what may have caused the problem, and was very helpful explaining my options.I was without plumbing use for about 2 days. My experience overall was positive. In particular, Ryan and Jim were great to work with. I would say this company is priced a bit on the high side for services. As always, people should shop around (if you have the time) to compare proposed services, and rates, prior to committing to a costly repair option. That said, the quality of work and explaining the options was good. Jim, the Hydro tech was obviously very experienced and a pleasure to work with!

I had a unexpected issue that any homeowner doesn’t like bumping into. I called mr.rooter late at night and they came first thing in the morning replaced my water heater and also found leaks and fixed that as well. I will definitely be recommending them and going back with any issue I have again. The gentleman that came out and helped me was mr. I never leave reviews. Mostly. Our water heater went out and the only reason we knew was from the splooshy sound our footsteps made on the carpet. Didn't freak out, but this needed attention quickly. Honestly, Mr rooter was not our first call. We tried a couple local plumbers, but no luck. Mr rooter dispatch answered our call, they were polite, positive, professional. A tech was at our house within a couple hours. Tech was extremely polite, easy-going, professional. While practicing covid protocols, he assessed the situation and advised me honestly of my options. He returned the next day (I had to buy a water heater) to perform the install. Everything went great! He didn't even complain about having to go into the crawl space to shut off the water. Overall a very positive experience, I would definitely recommend these guys!

I called Mr.Rooter to provide a second opinion on repairs I needed for my sewer. When they were finished with the inspection and came up with a plan to not only repair the line the cost was 70% cheaper. The honesty and professionalism of this company and the technicians are by far the best!

I came home to water all over my floors and found out it was a problem with my water heater leaking. The technician came out the next day and worked on fixing it for over 4 hours. It was done the very next day!! He was really nice, respectful, helpful, and did a professional and quality job. I would choose them again, even though it did cost a bit more than other places. Getting e job done right and the next day was more important than saving a few and waiting two weeks. My water damage could have been a lot worse by then. I specifically asked that it be updated to code for resale purposes. I asked about the drainage pan and earthquake straps, both things he came up with an excuse as to why these could not be installed, but I’m not a plumber and took his word for it. Further evaluation from others determined I was not getting what I paid for ($2k worth of work) and it was not up to code. I could have had a family member replace my tank for much cheaper but it was important to me that I had it under warranty and up to code for resale. I intend on selling my home within the next year. I don’t know if I would use this company again. I would probably try my luck with another plumber service even though I thought the kid was very nice and genuine.

I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink yesterday and was able to get a Mr Rooter associate out today to diagnose and fix it. Pejman Arjomandi was quick, friendly and efficient - finding the problem immediately and determining multiple solutions. He was in and out in about 30 minutes and I no longer have a leak! Would definitely recommend!

In the beginning they quoted a high price but their team worked out a creative way to fix my sewer pipe issue and saved me thousands of dollars. I will easily work with them again.

Wayne was extremely nice and professional. He explained everything needed and took his time to make sure it was done right. I won't have to worry about for years to come. He had a lot of work replacing shark bites, putting new copper fittings and replacing faucet, shower handle and tub fittings. I will definitely use Mr Rooter and ask for Wayne. Nick the plumber explained clearly about the procedure in the process of detecting and fixing the damage. He did the detection of the leak with almost exactly on target and the repair is beyond expectation. Nick communicate and performed the job professionally.

Our technician crawled through our homes’ crawl space to assess a foul septic odor. He found no cracks or problems in any of our plumbing. He found that there is most likely gunk built up in our p-traps in the sinks. He assured us that the odor is not dangerous and the problem can be easily taken care of when we change out the old garbage disposal for a new one. We already planned on doing this and have the new one ready to go. There was no charge for all that he did to help us out. What an awesome company! Will use them again when needed.

The person who came out was great. He communicated well, did his job efficiently and was easy to work with. The woman in the office was a whole different story. She was rude on the phone. Didn’t have a clue what I was talking about but made it seem like the issue was me. She insisted I tell her what was clogged even though I explained it was the pipe running to the septic tank and not a particular device in the house. Everything in the house was effected which didn’t seem to comprehend. Also, the price for the service we got went from $300.00 to $450.00 in two years so we will be shopping it next time. And one more issue I have is the office will not even give you a ballpark for the work even if you tell them exactly what needs to be done and that they’ve done it several times before. Very annoying!

Both of the toilets in our house broke at the same time and Mr. Rooter was able to get a plumber out to our house within a few hours. Brandon identified the issue(s) with the toilets and also completed an inspection of our hot water heater, which had been making noises and running inefficiently. He offered options for repairs and replacements that were fairly priced and answered all of our questions. He then completed the replacement of both toilets and the hot water heater in about 2 hours. Brandon followed all COVID protocols and left everything very clean. He was friendly and professional. Something I thought would be a nightmare turned out to be fairly painless! We have a plumber for life and will never look for another company to help us with plumbing needs!

At 60, I've owned a lot of houses and called a lot of plumbers. This technician, Tommy Hagerman, was probably the best ever. He was jaw-droppingly fast at two jobs that I would have thought were rather difficult. He changed out a pressure valve, house shutoff valve, and a kitchen faucet in a very cramped space, all under an hour. Amazing.Office scheduling could be better. He arrived about half an hour after the four-hour window they gave us.

Teddy did a great job explaining and installing our new faucet. He even went out of his way to reconfigure the pipe so the garbage does not get in the way. It was a great experience with Teddy at Mr. Rooter.

I’ve used Mr Rooter several times in the past. Most recently they charge by the job not by the hour. $500 to clear a drain. They do good work but have priced themselves out. I will look elsewhere next time.

We have an old Mobile Home on our Property and recently discovered a burst pipe. No one wanted to touch it. Mr Rooter sent someone out next day. Raymond was a real Trooper- got right to it, treated this old Mobile Home as a worthy house. His attitude was amazing, he genuinely seemed to care and wanted to solve our issue. He replaced 4 ft of pipe, and then we turned the water back on and the very next section broke. So, he replaced the next section of pipe- turned the water on and the one after that burst. He leveled with us and told us unfortunately that was likely to keep happening due to the old pipes- and felt sincerely bad when he had to leave here without our problem unsolved. I would definitely call Mr. Rooter again in the future- especially if we could get Raymond again.

I needed a new toilet installed so I called on a Friday after 6pm and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. She was able to schedule me for the next day. Brandon was my tech and he was right on time. Brandon was very professional and took time to answer all my questions. The installation was fast, done right and price was reasonable. I would recommend them if you need good reliable plumbing work performed.

After getting someone at my apt to have Mr. Rooter assess the problem, Plumber Mr. Keenon found and fixed problem with my water heater and I was not home. He had the unit fixed and cleaned up before my next guests arrived. Very professional and great service! I was aware of what was going on at all times.

Mr. Rooter was fantastic- our water heater sprung a leak for the second time this year on a holiday, of course! They had people answering the phone and although they weren't able to come out that night, they scheduled us for first thing in the morning and provided us with a discount. The plumber who came out, Mr. Karimi, was great. Kind, professional, communicative and he was able to install a water heater for us same day! We thought we would have to get a temp fix on the leak, coordinate with our building to turn the water off and then get a new tank installed but he came up with a solution to get it all done right then. Highly recommend them!

I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the work done by Ross to clear our clogged drain. He was prompt, courteous, kind and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and I never felt pressured to add things that might need to be done. He even cleaned the ick out of the tub. (I cleaned it again because...well...ick!) I will absolutely use Mr. Rooter again if I have a plumbing issue in the future. Highly recommend them. All is fixed and someone will be back out here in a few hours to use a mini camera so we can try to figure out why the clog happened in the first place.

Their membership was a fantastic deal, and they were always very helpful, informative and gave me fair pricing. Their customer service was amazing from the first phone call. The woman I first spoke to was so incredibly sweet and had a sense of humor, especially since I was basically asleep on the phone. Giving me a heads up the tech was on his way, absolutely awesome customer service. Then the tech shows up, very patient and kind. Explained everything to me, walked me through every step and made me feel confident in his capabilities. He did the work with complete professionalism. Got the camera guy out, who was just as sweet welcoming as the other two employees, and everything went smoothly.

had a clogged kitchen drain, could not find anyone who could come that day. Call Mr. Rooter, and 3 hours later they were at my door. Technician was professional and informative of the process. He was able to clear the clog (Which was about 40 feet back into the pipes) and drain starting working again. Would definitely recommend.I cannot say about pricing but after being without a kitchen sink for 2 days and a very unhappy wife, cost was not my main concern.

Manny was courteous and friendly. He fixed our problem quickly and efficiently. Rated 4 stars for Manny's great attitude and service, would only rate 1 for the dispatcher, Mason. Unfortunately, the cost of this service was astronomical. When I spoke with Mason in dispatch, he refused to give me an idea of what the cost would be, with a very curt nope. I do not appreciate that attitude and because he was such a jerk about it, I am not sure I would recommend Mr. Rooter or use this service again. It seems to me that they are taking advantage of a desparate situation.

Jimmy from Mr. Rooter came out, did a thorough and free inspection and estimate, provided the most logical and well thought out recommendation (lining vs pipe burst vs trenching, etc). Needed a plumber to replace our broken water heater. I had 5 companies come out to do an estimate, and chose Mr. Rooter. The plumber that came out, Brandonn, was very knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection of our plumbing system, took pictures, and gave us a complete evaluation of our plumbing system. The other companies were either not as thorough, or seemed suspect, or were priced way too high. Mr. Rooter wasn't the cheapest, but I feel they were fair for the job. I would definitely call them again.

Water bubbled up near my front yard faucet. A big name plumbing outfit quoted me an $8000, two day hand dig to replace the line from the house to the road. The plumber was slick and high pressure. I called Mr. Rooter. They arrived quickly. The no nonsense plumber quickly assessed the situation. He dug up the area and found a buried shut off valve spurting water. Repaired the thing, filled the hole back in, and was gone in around an hour. Superstar. Only cost me $2700. I will highly recommend Mr. Rooted to everyone.

Service was fine, they responded quickly, came out and determined root cause. Unfortunately our problem ended up requiring hydro blasting and that wasn't available till the next morning.They arrived a bit later than expected, however they got the job done fairly quickly.The ending bill was quite high. Even though I was initially told the first portion (500+) would be deducted from the hydro work, they only took off 10%. Though I cannot say for sure if that happened since i didn't know what the original cost would have been.So for a plumber to come out, snake the pipe, then hydro blast it (all from an easy access point outside), I paid over 1600.00 dollars! The end result is I have a functional plumbing system again.But still, way too high a price.Update: Mr. Rooter did indeed get back to me in the form of an email notifying me of the refund of the initial payment as stated during the visit.Thank you Mr. Rooter. Had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain no matter what I did to it, so I called Mr Rooter. They got me in quick. They wanted to do same day, but I wasn't available. Quoted me a time for the next day, then arrived 30 minutes early. Excellent. Rooter guy took a look at the sink and whipped out an awesome cable which he fed down a deep dark hole. After he was done, he left me a degreaser and told her how and how often to use it. The guy was super chill and answered all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions when I pay that much for something). It was a bit pricey, but less than I expected and it brought my sink back to life. 10/10 would root again.

I had them out to install a new hot water heater. I was on a budget and they found an option that worked for me and were able to get everything done same day. On top of that. I had a sink that needed to be replaced and I asked if they could do that while I was out there. They stayed late to take care of that as well. Dale was great.

I spoke with Tracy who scheduled someone to come out within 2 hours.Tommy came out provided an estimate and I used Mr Rooter. Their was competitive and reasonable. I went with this company because Tommy was the only one that mentioned a tree that could be causing issues. When he dug up the area I got lucky the leak was close to the meter. He fixed and cut away a couple roots. (Keep in mind he was prepared to cut the tree if needed not huge tree but big enough that a saws all would be needed.)He ended up not needing to cut the tree and he showed and explained everything to me.I recommend Mr Rooter for anyone that has plumbing needs.They were friendly, quick to respond and fixed my leak all within the same day.Thank you!!!!!

Great experience with Mr Rooter! The fair price, quality work, and customer service is what made it great. The lead specialist Dave was such a nice guy and helped us figure out the exact right solution. It feels so good to have that issue taken care of (pipe right next to big ole Cedar tree) and to know it won’t be causing us any problems. I’m normally don’t care much about guarantees but they do a 10 yr and that does actually give me extra comfort.

Had a blocked toilet on the main floor, the only one accessible to an elderly family member. Christina the dispatcher said not to worry, they'll get someone out tonight. Teddy arrived within the hour and attempted to remove the clog with a snake auger, but was unsuccessful (as I had been prior to calling). Given where it was stuck, he knew that the clog was contained in the toilet, and that pulling it up would give him access to unclog it. We'd previously had recommendations to replace the stock toilet with a better model by a plumber who lived in our development, so we decided to replace it, since he was already pulling it up. He gave us a few options, both homeowner-supplied and plumber-supplied. He had no problem with me running down to Lowe's to pick it up while he pulled up the old one, and got the new one installed and working in MAYBE 20 minutes. He hauled away both the old toilet, and the packaging for the new one, and left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. Christina and Teddy were both rock stars, and Mr. Rooter will get our business in the future.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! Tanner was incredible was able to identify and fix the issue quickly. Tanner also was very polite and educational for helping prevent this issue from happening again. The entire experience was great even the office staff was professional and understanding. From the initial panicking call I made to the repair being completed it took less than 4 hours. Extremely satisfied I hope I never have another plumbing issue but if I do I will be calling Mr. Rooter and hopefully Tanner will come rescue us again.

The plumber (Adam?) quickly diagnosed that the issue was with our septic and not the plumbing and inspected the septic tank and clean out to find that the issue was downstream of the tank and clean out. Great work and then hot me with $350 bill for half hours work. Said that was min charge, whereas when I scheduled visit they said estimate provided no charge. I wasn't told of min fee. I expected to pay as good work was done but the cost was excessive.

The sign of a good, well run, responsive employees company is hard to fine these days. Mr. Rooter has been just that for me. They came out to do a drain pipe repair for me (I am a 1st time user) and I had some issues with the entire job that day (some of my own making) and I wrote it all up in my initial review. The next day I received a call from their management team who wanted to fully understand my review and what could be done to make them better as they do regular training with their employees. After a 20 minute conversation all issues were discussed and resolved. He then gave me his personal work phone number and said to give him a call if anything else came up. There are not many companies that operate this way anymore but Mr. Rooter does and this behavior starts at the top. If you want to do business with a solid plumming company give them a call.

This was a terrible experience I would never use Mr. Rooter. I was given told it would take two days it took three weeks and we couldn't use the toilet. I was given a quote to repair it, they charged me for safety equipment they didn't use, they charged me for a clean out they didn't put in. They had zero knowledge of what the rules were in pierce county which meant the inspectors failed us twice which led to delays. I immediately, contacted another company to come out and pick up the pieces. The job got done and that's the most important part I guess.. I called Monday to schedule for Tuesday. They canceled on me because there was never a technician scheduled that day who could work on a gas line. Rescheduled the following day in the morning between 11 and 1. The guy finally showed up at 8pm and left at about 1030pm. Not too terribly long but I get up at 5am everyday for work so I wasn't really thrilled about how late in the day they showed up, but stuff happen so I'm not super upset about that part. I was however charged a fee for opening the wall which was not discussed with me before hand. I understand they have to make everything to code but this shouldn't have happened without my approval. I likely won't choose this company again.

Well the water companies meter shut off is broken so when replacing my main shut off I got stopped by city water cooling my copper sweat valve I had to call. Our hero promptly came within the hour and fixed the 1.5 ft of piping that was welded on and incorrect gate valve. Only took them an hour to saw out PVC, clean up the previous homeowners messy weld work and crimped on new fittings and get a new BALL valve (not gate uwu) on there at a proper height. I appreciate not have to go all the way to the floor to turn the water off. Very nice, professional, and just overall a good person with empathy. Will hire that specific person again as they were quick, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves.

I was very impressed by the service. My plumber arrived within less than an hour of my call in, and was efficient and very knowledgeable. He fixed the issue with no problems, and helped to explain where the root of the problem was coming from. Would highly recommend and cant express how grateful we were at the customer service. I called several plumbing companies to find same-day service (even though it was not the worst emergency), and Mr. Rooter came through. Prompt and professional service. Cost acceptable although I don't know enough to compare. The tech had everything he needed to complete the job with one stop, which we appreciated. We'd call again.

They had to reschedule for a couple days later but called promptly to do so, and called again the day of to give a 30 min heads up of arrival. When the plumber/specialist/person came he was very nice, got right to work, was clearly experienced, checked to make sure the leak was fixed (wasn't the first time so he did it again), and cleaned everything up. Not sure if cost was within reasonable expectations, but it seemed like it after calling a few other places and getting a ballpark.

Pepe was very personable, professional. He let me know everything thing that was going to happen. They provided me pictures and video of what was causing the clog. And the pre ice was very reasonable.

Ross was very professional, he was able to find out the leak immediately ; made an effort to get a new tube and replaced the leaking tube for me right away. He was able to fix the toilet faucet for me. in just a few minutes. He was so efficiecy .l am very happy with the services that he provided.

Called to have a toilet replaced. Not an emergency, but was offered same day service. The technician, Danny, arrived at the planned time and had all tools and parts to complete the project in one visit. He was courteous, efficient and took all required precautions to maintain social distance while making a home visit during the pandemic. As usual, we're very happy with service from Mr Rooter. Probably not the cheapest, but absolutely reliable, and that's worth a lot.

Quick to schedule an appointment and get to the home (within 24 hours) We received a call 7:54 saying to head to location because the driver was 15-20 minutes away. We then waited until 9:20 for him to show up, once there he told us he was tried and had a hard time getting out of bed. He unclogged the drain but there was on explanation of what caused it, he said he was going to use his camera to check out the line but then didn’t. He mentioned someone will be back Monday to scope the line. Service call was $513 to unclog a small gray water drain.

Unclogged kitchen sink drain pipe. The flat rate fee of over $400 is exorbitant. It took him less than 20 minutes to complete the job. I was satisfied with the end result. But I would’ve been better off paying an hourly rate I’m sure I would’ve paid almost half that price.

The new garbage disposal unit sells for $103 to $130 at Home Depot. IT seems exorbitant to pay over $500 for a couple of hours of labor. I'd never hire Mr. Rooter again for anything. And the worker was sullen, not very pleasant to have in our home.

Michael was prompt and worked quickly. He took the time to talk me through what he was doing, shared his knowledge with me, and worked with me to finish off the project the way we wanted. His work area was left clean, and I sleep better at night knowing the project was done right the first time.He was upfront and honest about the whole project and the final cost so there were no surprises when it came time to settle the bill. They underpromised and overdelivered.Another contractor had removed our kitchen sink and replaced it with a new one in an entirely different configuration as part of a counter top replacement, but walked away without reconnecting anything and even without the parts needed to reconnect it on our own.Mr Rooter told me they could have someone out the next day to take a look, then called me an hour later to say a tech had freed up and they had him out almost immediately.The tech was extremely courteous, worked quickly, and made sure that all of our needs were met.Great job, guys!

Scheduling was friendly. Scheduled for a Saturday, received a call after the 4 hour window to say they weren't going to make it. Rescheduled for the next day 8a-12p. At 11:30a received a call that they were running late, and would be there no later than 1p, but they'd call if anything else came up. 1p came and went without a plumber or a phone call. I called them, they said they'd have to get back to me, finally got a call that the plumber was on their way. Plumber was friendly, fast and efficient.

Super polite and professional. Very quick and thorough. Definitely worth it, even though this was very much a necessary job.Needed a basement bathroom sump/ejector pump replaced. Have no idea when the pump was installed (20+ years maybe??) or how long that pump has seriously been in use (at least 10). The cover ended up being rusted over and the motor had a rooty growth all over it. Removed and replaced with a Liberty Pumps LE40 series, within about 3-4 hours. Peiman was super friendly and honest. I had a very stressful house flooding situation, and I am super grateful to have gotten such knowledgeable, professional, and nice plumbers out to help. They put in a lot of time and effort, made prudent decisions, and went above and beyond to make sure the issues were resolved. I could not recommend these two guys more - they helped give me confidence that my house would be put back together and all fixed or the long-term after the flooding from a leaking pipe.

I presented a problem with an exterior leak. It was not an easy fix. I met 4 employees and one subcontractor(to find the leak). Each one of them were certitude, concerned and professional. Jimmy Jack of Mr Rooter Seattle was professional from start to finish. He accurately tracked exactly where the problem was. He and his team fixed a broken sewer pipe, cleared the pipe of clog, installed a new liner, worked beautifully with our neighbors, made several new clients (fans) because of his conscious, thorough approach. He saved us from the first plumber who swore he knew where the issue was, and was preparing to rip out a gorgeous old weeping red Japanese Maple. I called Mr Rooter to be certain this destruction was unavoidable. Not only did Mr Rooter save the tree, the dry well, and protect the neighbors house, he was fair in price, prioritized the job because of no running water, and was an authentic, caring human. They were wonderful. My drain has been running slower and slower. Turns out 45 year old galvanized pipe was rusted and full of hair and sludge. They figured out how to get it moving. 5-10 feet of solid mess. They got it clear. It runs better than it has in over 20 years.They followed all Covid guidelines during the 2 days.

Our plumber did such a good job! He worked really hard to repair our valve and it was a difficult case where the contractor who initially put in the plumbing shortcut the job making it much more difficult to repair. Even though it took much longer and was more difficult he did not charge us extra. I would definitely use this company again!

We discovered that we had a shower leak early on a Saturday morning. I requested an appointment between 9:00 and 1:00, and though they weren’t able to make it within that window, they called several times to keep me informed of when the technician would arrive, which turned out to be around 4:00. Blaine was courteous and knowledgeable, and returned the next morning with the supplies he needed to make a full diagnosis and recommendation to replace the shower.

The tech was very kind and knowledgeable. I left a 4 instead of 5 star rating because he left a really big mess in each bathroom and I had to clean it myself. Took about an hour. Still haven’t been able to get the upstairs tub clean. And he didn’t even work on that tub! I did take a few photos of you want to see them.I’ve never had to clean after a plumber before.

Fast and friendly service but the price was about double of what I had researched the cost should be. I don't mind paying a premium for same day service but keep in mind it could be done for cheaper if you shop around. Great tech, he did a professional install and I am happy with the work.

My husband is quite handy, but couldn’t get rid of this clog. Daniel worked on our sink’s plumbing, plus went into our crawl space a bit, to successfully get rid of the clog. He was professional, thorough and capable. Pleased with the workmanship and result. Price fair for the work that was done.

Mr. Rooter was the plumbing sub chosen by Floform for installation of three sinks as part of our kitchen counter remodel. This is perhaps the only good decision Floform made during the project. Floform has been and still is an abomination. Dustin was our plumber and he was OUTSTANDING. Dustin is professional, responsible, and effective. He has a great attention to detail. I would absolutely hire him again.

Ross came out early, was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a rundown of the issue we were experiencing with our sump pump. He was very straightforward with his advice and within an hour we had it working again. Though we don’t necessarily want to call a plumber, we will definitely use again for any issues we experience with plumbing.

We have a full basement and with the rain and snow it flooded! We had no idea where the water was coming from or how to stop it. We called Mr.Rooter in a panic and they had two guys out the next morning. Manny and Kyle were professional friendly and knowledgeable. They spent 3 days installing a sump pump and had to tear up our floors to do so. I felt so relieved knowing they were doing everything to find the groundwater leaks. Barrett was fabulous. Within 30 minutes of me calling, a tech was here and working. He quickly determined that the pipe we were working with was deteriorating to the point of replacement (old galv steel) and gave us a fair estimate and a few options. Fully replaced the washing machine output down to connecting to the main line, all before lunch! Super impressive. Nice guy. Quality work.

We had a clogged drain in our two sinks in our master bathroom. It had been long standing from the previous owners. Due to the nature of the plumbing, it couldn’t be unclogged with the regular snake rooter. They had to use the Hydro jet flusher to unclog the drain. They did not charge us for the first visit with the snake rooter, only for the second visit with the Hydro jet. They also gave us a membership discount. Both Val & Daniel were very professional and observed strict COVID protocols. Daniel on the second visit was able to get the drain unclogged even though it was difficult due to the many angles of getting it down into the vertical drain. They did a great job for us. I highly recommend their services.

I recently needed someone quick as I found myself standing in a bathtub full of water during a shower one day. I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing and they had someone out there same day. Chris came out to the home and upon answering the door had his cute booties (shoe covers on) with this great Mr. Rooter mat that he laid out as to not get my carpet dirty.He went into the bathroom and starting cabling my tub drain but also noticed that the drain line was a bit crooked and was helping to cause a slow flow issue. at no additional charge he fixed that issue.During our conversation when he first arrived i had mentioned i may need to get a new faucet in the kitchen as my handle was starting to break apart and was making it hard it turn on and off. Well Chris snuck into the kitchen and repaired said faucet again with no charge. it took him all of 2 minutes but most companies would have added an additional arm or leg to the price. Thank you Mr. Rooter for the impeccable work as well as the amazing customer service. I will definitely refer you to my friends and my family as well as anyone else that will listen.

I called a bunch of plumbers to see if someone could come out and evaluate/fix a couple items on my punch list right away. Mr. Rooter was able to schedule next day and the contractor (Wayne) who came was amazing. He has been in the business for a long time, knows exactly what he's looking at/doing, was both professional and friendly, and was able to apply the discount I was eligible for to my service invoice which helped a lot! I would absolutely recommend them and will ask for Wayne if I have any plumbing needs in the future.

We had a great experience with Mr.Rooter. Pepe spent a half a day at my house unclogging drains, installing faucet/instant hot water/garbage disposal in our kitchen and fixed a leaky pipe that connected to our hot water tank. There was nothing he couldn’t do. We would highly recommend Mr. Rooter for all your plumbing needs.

Came out next day and he was very courteous and professional. Showed us the picture of repairs and the busted pipe itself after removing it from our crawl space. 2nd time contacting Rotorooter for a reason.

They were a day late. The kid who came out was not very customer centered and they charged me $180 for 5 minutes work and a $20 fuel fee. The only reason I’m giving 1star is he fixed the problem. I would not recommend Mr Rooter and I will never use their service again. Shop around if you need a plumber and get prices up front.

I called another popular “ rooter” business.They couldn’t give me any idea at all about the price. Told me I need new pipes under the kitchen sink. These guys are the best. I had an unknown leak that was leaving water on the floor in my basement. They diagnosed and fixed it in no time at a fair price. I've had other plumbers here for other issues, and Mr. Rooter is by far the best. (I am not being compensated for this review.) This is our first time to have The Rooter Plumbing of Seattle to fix our kitchen sink drain clogged problem. PJ has done a good job to fix the drainage clogged problem and fix other potential problems on the spot.

I would advise all to avoid Mr. Rooter at all cost. They are overpriced and charge excessively and not transparent about it. I recently had to repair a shower cartridge. I was told that the shower cartridge (for the specific same brand) would cost 300 something and the installation and everything it would be a little over 400 USD. The plumber even made it sound like I was getting a great deal given my membership with Mr. Rooter. I obviously believed everything and authorized the payment immediately. The whole task took around 30 minutes. Later that night, out of curiosity, I checked on the website of the same shower manufacturer the price of the cartridge and the priciest I could find was 50 USD! So this means that Mr. Rooter charged me 6 times that and were disingenuous about it. I had a similar experience with replacing my kitchen faucet (it cost almost 1000 USD). So my advice to all is unless you have very large jobs or tasks for your home's plumbing, avoid them at all cost. You wiill get a far better deal if you double check the price of parts yourself and then get a qualified plumber via Angie's list.

my contractor screwed up the bathroom new vanity installation, there is one small leaking at the cold water pipe, so I called Mr. Root to fix it. The schedule went smooth, plumber showed up the next day as they indicated, he used 35 minutes fixed my leaking pipe and installed a new faucet, charged me near $1700 for this service include $420 for turn off the water and drain the water from the tub (which I can do it in any second myself) . No complaint for the service, but this is one of the highest charged service fee I've ever seen. Not to mention the plumber kept telling me he already gave me all the discount he could, he told me all the charge are standard, so I can't negotiated for the pricing. Anyway, I paid full price this time but would not use them again.

Robert was able to schedule me same day for a hot water tank replacement. Ross showed up right on time and got it done in 2 hours! Really appreciate the work these guys did and would highly recommend.

Charged me about $400 to say they could not do it, then used a camera to mark the site of the clog with a big green X and wanted over $4k more to fix it. I called a local contractor who fixed the problem for $600. He had to duplicate what Rooter did as they did not mark the spot any where near right. Took him about 5 hours. Their people were nice though.

I was unable to get same day service but the next day worked better for me. Cost was more than the estimate but there was more pipe to replace to not have a leak. The plumber showed great integrity and explained what had to be done.

Both Vinnie and Shaquille were friendly, professional, and got the job done about as quick as it could be done. I'd hire Mr Rooter again in a heartbeat.

Technician was prompt and persistent. The shower diverter stopped mixing water so there was no hot water. The repair was to replace the cartridge. They had a very difficult time removing the shower handle due to extensive water deposits but with persistence eventually got it and repaired the shower. Thanks!

We have had to all twice, both times on an emergency basis. The response time was very quick, the people very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Even when they had to come back more than once to fix the problems, never made us feel they were rushing.

Ryan at Mr. Rooter installed a new, tankless, has water heater at my home today (our old gas, “tanked” water heater was starting to die). Mr. Rooter was able to schedule a consult/estimate very quickly, and then came out to install the very next morning. Ryan was super nice, and the unit works great. My only tiny complaint is that he was a just a little messy - some plastic shavings from cutting vent piping and some drywall dust left after he finished and cleaned up. Otherwise the work was solid, timely, and of quality.

Called and received a same day appointment for hanger stuck in sink. Yes, I tried to fix a clog with a wire hanger. Wait time was about 2 hours on a Monday afternoon. Plumber yanked out hanger and charged for visit and time, $65.00. Seems fair. Plumbers (one in training) were masked and wore shoe booties.Estimate for Mr. Rooter to unclog bathroom sink was ~$460.00- ouch! However, I have used Mr. Rooter previously for a kitchen sink clog and was very satisfied. That plumber repaired the issue during that visit and even cleaned the cabinet area below the pipes. Would not hesitate to call this business again.

We discovered the water heater was leaking on a Saturday late in the afternoon. I was able to easily schedule an appointment for the next day (Sunday). My water heater is in a spot with limited space. Adam was able to find and install a new water heater that fit within 24 hours of the consultation. Thank you!!!

Mr. Rooter Plumbing (more specifically, Wayne Devine) installed two shutoff valves and a pressure regulator. Additionally, Wayne provided a full diagnostic of our plumbing (checking every faucet, supply hose, and other connection point, including going deep into the crawl space). He explained about different pipes, handles, valves, and other plumbing details related to our home (based on my many questions), which was invaluable because the home is new and we were unfamiliar with so many things. I felt like the diagnostics and recommendations were helpful, fair, and worthwhile. Wayne was friendly, thoroughly proficient, and careful to make sure everything was done right. I also liked their iPad app because it made it easy to see prices and services included. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend Wayne and Mr. Rooter.

Our experience was awesome, we had a leak in our main water line, Wayne came over quoted us a fair price and took care of the issue right away. He stayed at it until 9:30 pm to get our water back on even though I told him at 8 we could do without our water for a while. Man he worked hard and got er done. Once the serviceman arrived to do the repairs, he did an excellent job. Trying to schedule the appointment was a nightmare. The after hours service scheduled my appointment for the wrong day. Although they confirmed a different date with me. After waiting 2 hours for my scheduled appointment the new receptionist wanted me to sit around for potentially another 5 hours for a technician to come out. It was only after I pressed her that she contacted a technician to come directly to my house after he completed his current job. Whatever happened to good customer service. Disney training works wonders.

He gave me the estimate and told me the amount of time he expected to do the work. He was always very professional and focused on the work. We had a big issue with our sewer backing up yesterday. We called Mr Rooter and their technician Peiman showed up promptly. He was very professional, fixed the issue and also did not leave a mess. I called Mr Rooter out of desperation as another plumbing chain had delayed over and over while I had a flooded basement.. I called Mr Rooter and 2 minutes later a dispatch person called back saying someone would arrive shortly. No exaggeration, the plumber arrived 15 minutes after my call. The plumber was very professional and very efficient. He looked at the problem, then cleaned out my clogged pipe getting my plumbing system fully functional again. He also explained why it happened and suggested some preventative measures to ensure we did not have the problem again. I would strongly recommend Mr Rooter in the Redmond WA area..

I had a leaky water heater, galvanized pipes and gasket blowing high water pressure. One call to mr rooter and Shawn was out the next day to diagnose and quote me for all of the repairs my 90 year old house needed. We scheduled the repairs over the course of 2 days but Shawn and Alex worked late into the evening to make sure everything was done, quickly, correctly and in one visit. My wife, twin infants and I certainly appreciate having everything taking care of so quickly. As Shawn was explaining the work they were doing I asked them to replace my 2 hose bibs last minute, which they performed without missing a beat. Mr Rooter, Shawn and Alex in particular, just earned lifetime customers for any plumbing needs we encounter in the future.

Tommy came to our house within 3 hours of my call, and did a fantastic job. He was done in less than an hour. Very professional service.

This company I would never recommend. The plumber that came out to look at the faucet in our kitchen was dishonest. He came up with a bunch of things that we needed done that would’ve cost us $1200. Then when I refuse He came with another price of $600. When I said that was still too much he came up with a price of $300. And I thought that was fair. I scheduled it for the following week. Then a friend of mine came over that same day went up under the sink and saw a screw was missing went to Home Depot and fixed the problem for less than $10. So beware.

I am super impressed with the service I received from Mr Rooter, and the service person Jacob Royal. Mr. Royal was very knowledgeable, fast, gave me great follow up information. I call the company at around 9.30, and Mr Royal was here, replaced my expansion water heater tank in less than two hours!!! Thank you!

I called Mr. Rooter late last night and the woman that answered the phone was polite and very helpful. She had an opening for the Saturday (today) and called me before the plumber showed up and told me his name & gave me a time-frame for when he'd be here.Ben was the professional that came out to figure out why our dishwasher wasn't draining. Six months ago they replaced a sink, faucet, and drain. This month the drain clogged entirely, and the faucet was moving back and forth.It cost us another $400 to snake the drain and to affix the faucet more firmly. The work was done in both cases, but frankly I don't think that we should have needed to incur another $400 charge so soon after the first work was completed.

Very efficient and friendly technician, who went beyond just fixing our garbage disposal (a metal thing got stuck between the blades). In addition, the price was fair and I managed to make an appointment for the day after I called, Very satisfied and definitely recommend it!

Was a bit harder on the pocketbook than I was expecting (reason for 4 stars vs 5), but will sleep better knowing it’s fixed and the work is guaranteed.

Ross came down when I was freaking out over my whole house flooding (both toilets, both showers, and tub.) I’m a 25 year old homeowner and am still learning the ropes, but sounds like the old homeowners didn’t empty the septic tank before purchase, and Ross was here within an hour of my call. Definitely the septic tank overflowing. Ugh. A nightmare. He found the tank within minutes when I wasn’t sure where it was, and was honest, kind, and compassionate. Mr. Rooter charged over $400 to unclog a pipe at my elderly mother's house. I feel this was overcharged but paid because it was a Saturday and we needed to get it fixed. Otherwise I would have called another company.The owner contacted me after this review and admitted that they overcharged for the time spent to fix the clog, and they refunded about half of the amount. That was much appreciated.

They arrived when they said they would. He was polite and courteous. He completed the jobs quickly and efficiently. He kept me informed along the way and was conscientious.

Great job. Arrived on time and the work was done professionally. Left the work area spotless. Explained the work and how to operate the products in a way that I understood completely. My only concern and reason for four stars is the cost of the job. Over $600.00 for one hour of labor seemed very expensive to me.

My kitchen sink was seriously clogged. I have tried tearing apart pipes under the sink, using a 15’ snake, hot water, vinegar, baking soda trick… all failed. So I called Mr rooter. Rick showed up on time, very experienced, efficient, get my problem solved right away, and even replaced a ring under the sink as favor. Would love to use their service especially from Rick again if I running into plumbing problems in the future.

A new washer installation revealed the need to rework the laundry hookup. Called on a Sunday morning at 8:30. Mark was at the house an hour later. The job was too big for same day, but he was back that Monday and done by noon.Well done and reasonably priced! Thanks, Mark!

I had a really great experience with Mr. Rooter-- and I'll be honest, I was skeptical given that it's a chain. However, they were quick to get a plumber out to bid work on the repair of a leaking waste drain that put our entire master bathroom out of commission. The following morning, the plumber Peiman Karimi came out and did the repair with minimal demo. I was really concerned with the amount of wall that would have to be removed, but Peiman worked with me and explained the various options. In the end, he did a great repair and the master bath is back in business. 5 stars specifically for Peiman and the level of his service.

I ended up not being able to use their service, but they diagnosed my issue in less then 30min. (full septic so I needed it pumped by someone else) They taught me about my septic system and maintenance to look out for. In the future. Which was confidence building. Thanks guys

My daughter flushed some paper towels down the toilet, and of course it clogged. Waited a few days to see if the clog would clear, and it never did. So I called Mr. Rooter to get help. I called in the morning and by 2pm I had Tanner arrive at my house. He was very friendly from the start, and carefully explained the process, pricing, and any details upfront. He made sure to put wraps on his shoes before coming in, and he also put down a big towel on the bathroom floor so nothing would drip on the floor. He was able to clear the clog on the first attempt, and the whole process from start to finish was 5 minutes, if that. After fluahing a few times to make sure the clog was cleared from the toilet, Tanner then went outside and opened the main line and flushed some water through, jist to make sure everything was okay outside too. I received a coupon for the future if I ever needed the services again, and also a fridge magnet. The price came out to $220. Payment was processed quickly and i received an emailed receipt right away. My service was quick, professional, and done by a friendly technician. I would definitely reccomend services to anyone looking for plumbing issues. Thank you!

The professionalism and service of the sewer specialist (Jimmy Jack, the man with the camera) were superb. The administration aspect all ran smoothly and well. The 2 guys who actually did the jetting and cleaning of the pipes were OK, not more. Overall, we are currently very satisfied with the project.

Dishonest and attempted to deceive in order to ensure they maximize the amount they can charge you. They could have fixed my emergency issue with a snake and a few other tools instead they told me to replace the whole drain and be without a toilet for several days. In addition to the lack of toilet and related costs for several days, they decided to charge insane amount of money for a simple job. Just dishonest and out for the buck only. Do yourself a favor and go with a local plumber that cares, at least a little, about more than their own bottom line. See my “severely clogged drain” that needed replacing below.

Ken C and the whole team is amazing! I had two issues due to a settling foundation: a dislodged main drain and mid-foundation lift a discovered drain that needed re-routing. These guys take the fear and pain of what feels like a disaster and make it all right again. The relocation of the drain had to be done quickly to not delay the foundation lift and they came through like superstars...I can’t say enough about them and their integrity. Very grateful!

Agent was on time friendly, confident, ready to get into the crawl space found the issue right away(water pipe hairline crack)Upon completing his task at hand, we discussed his finding, answered ALL my questions. The hair line crack was creating a pool of water across the slope of the crawl space. Pipe fixed, water gone 2 weeks later crawl space still dry. Yes I recommend this company. I had outdoor storm drains that were backed up and causing problems. They came the day after my call. Each person I spoke with was kind and helpful. They did good work and answered all of my questions. My only negative was the price I felt it was pretty dang high for two hours of work.

My kitchen sink was 99% clogged for two weeks. After trying DIY, I called a handyman for help. However, not only he didn't fix the problem but he made it worse. He said that the blockage is 50+ feet down the pipeline and it was out of his reach. He suggested the next step is to cut the pipe in my basement to find out where the blockage is. His comment made me very nervous, and my sink got fully clogged after he left. So I called Mr. Rooter for service the next day. Mr. Baldemar Miranda came with his fully equipped truck. He is very professional and explained everything to me which made me feel at ease. He took his time to find the rootcause and got it done the right way. He tested and re-tested the drainage several times to make sure that I'm 100% satisfied. For sure that is money worth spent. Always trust the Pro when it comes to issues like this. My family own a 5 unit apartment building in Shoreline, WA. We were alerted by the Water Department that there was excessive usage. We called the friendly people at Mr. Rooter Plumbing. They were available to come out to survey the problem right away. We are so happy we called them. It was the section of pipe under the cement drivewayfrom the water meter to the building shut-off. The meter was turning even though the water to the building was turned off. Mr. Rooter came with a crew of help to fix it the very next morning. They completed a big job in 2 days. We started having issues with our bathroom plumbing on Monday. I called at least five plumbers before I was referred to Mr. Rooter. Had a clogged main drain. Called Mr. Rooter and they were able to get out within 5 hours on a Saturday. Toilet flushes now, yay! Employee was knowledgeable and was able to pull up records of our previous visits to get up to speed on our sewer system quickly.

Thomas Melder was my service guy, and he was very professional and very helpful. He noticed my water heater in my dining room and asked if I wanted him to reinstall it, but I have to replace my flooring first. He noticed I'm a veteran and thanked me for my service, even though I served 50 years ago. That was nice. Mr. Rooter has done a good job for me in my limited need for plumbing services, but I'll use them ahead of anyone else because of their professionalism and reasonable rates.

We have been contemplating replacing our gas water heater for a year now and we finally pulled the trigger today. This past month our gas light went out at least 6 times and it’s 10+ years old. We called Mr. Rooter and the service technician, Barrett showed up ahead of schedule. He explained the whole process of removing the old gas water heater and installing the new gas water heater. Barrett was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Barrett also explained the normal operations and how to troubleshoot the system in case the gas water heater isn’t working properly. We highly recommend Mr. Rooter for all of your plumbing needs!!

While they came out quickly, they charged us over $500 for a scope and snake and then wanted to dig into our pipe for over $7500 - they wouldn’t know till they dug down if it would cost an additional $12-15K and told me our cement pipe was in bad shape. I called a couple of other plumbers and luckily got a super experienced honest guy who had been in the business for many years. He scoped our pipe, said it should last another 30 years and the project ended up costing me a quarter of the cost. I will not be using Mr. Roto again - I don’t have faith in their word. It felt a lot like I imagined a used car dealership. I should have heed the warning from another who said they would take me to purgatory - just glad we didn’t make it all the way there.

Even though I explained to the person answering the phone that we needed a camera, they sent a technician without one. Then, 2 hours later when the tech with the camera came. he only had a large camera so we were not able to completely solve our problem. He was however very helpful in helping us narrow down the problem and I believe we will be able to fix it.

I had a quick response to a broken pipe, with a careful and professional repair. The broken pipe raised questions about the cause, and prompted side sewer inspection where tree root invasion was discovered. I appreciated this because I can manage the problem and budget for the work in the next few months to avoid a more costly and extensive repair. Naturally we would prefer to not have this problem, but having the confidence that the work can be done properly and avoiding a bigger catastrophe is a huge benefit. Supporting a local family owned business that can provide all of these professional services is also important to me.

The company does not charge a service fee for coming out. They will diagnose the issue to the best of their ability, explain your options and clearly tell you the costs. Val was very professional and took pride in his work. He also has an educational style, so I learned a lot in the process and was confident in the decisions I made.

Awesome! Did the work I requested and then some without charging a huge amount of money! When the new, larger hot water tank wouldn't fit through the gap in the closet, the technician did an awesome job (per our request) of opening up the space just enough in order to get the new tank in place. I loved being able to call and have the work done the next day!!!

Mr. Rooter diagnosed where the rootball was in our main sewer line. They dug up a small spot in our basement floor, removed the root clogged pipes and repaired the pipe that has a gap thus allowing the roots to invade.

I needed some timely sewer repair work done on an apartment building I own. Keenon was my technician, and he was amazing! I knew I needed my water heater replaced, and he worked tirelessly to make it happen. My old water heater was wedged between the wall and the furnace, and getting it out required both muscle and brain. I would use Mr. Rooter again, and I would ask for Keenon specifically. He was honest and hardworking and skillful.

Analysis of 15 year old sump pump issues. Answered phone immediately and sent 2 different people out on my schedule. Knowledgable and very prompt. First person wasn't sure so instead of guessing, he sent another person the next day for a second opinion - very appreciated.

So, got a call at work that water is backing up the toilet at the house. So I left work, came home, called first plumbing company that I've used, no answer. So I called Mr. Rooter, this is the 3rd time I've use them. They said they'd be at my place within 30-45 min. Ross showed up all masked up right on cue, social distancing and all. I was masked up, so I appreciated that. Ross was super polite and friendly. He got right down to business by asking me questions. Luckily or not, this happened before, so I kinda knew what was up. My main Sewer line wasn't draining right so he went and got the Snake Machine out, plugged the power to the house and he started his business of snaking the line. He did 2 passes, unlike the last guy, sorry, but he was from the same company, which is why I had called another plumbing company first. First pass, yikes, a lot of tree roots all tangled up. He decided to do the 2nd pass with a bigger blade just to be sure, Yea! nothing. Gotta love that, attention to detail.He called their office but was told that the technicians with the cameras won't be able to come out. So, they'll be by in the next couple of days to film inside the sewer line, then they'll send me a video. If they see something amiss, Ross said he'll come back and fix it. They'll also email me a summary of what they saw and what they did. He also said that within a year if it starts backing up, he will come out and fix it. Wow! a guarantee of workmanship. That is awesome!During the whole time, I'm peppering him with questions about products and maintenance issues. All the while he's snaking, he answered my questions and offered advise and feedback on all of my concerns. He was done in no time, got his tools and excused himself so he can sanitize the iPad. I signed on the dotted line and he was off.Now they may not be the cheapest Plumbing company out there, but I don't know if you really want that for your plumbing needs. You need honest professionals that do their job right the first time, with Honesty and Integrity, trust me, you'll sleep better at night. And Ross from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Seattle (actually, their office in Burien) is just that type of a professional. Thank you Ross, I appreciate you for being my plumber today. I had a bathtub that wouldn't drain. I called in on a Monday morning and they were able to send someone to unplug the drain that afternoon. The dispatcher was very nice and easy to work with. Max came to my house and was very friendly. I had my two small granddaughters there and had just moved in a week prior. There were boxes and thing stacked everywhere. Max wasn't bothered by any of it and was very nice about the noise the girls made. He got the drain cleared in about 20 minutes and was on his way.I was very happy with the quick service and the employees were all very nice but the price was extremely high. I didn't shop around for a plumber because I was anxious to get it fixed. I had heard of Mr. Rooter so called them. When the plumber got here, he told me that it would cost $400 before he even did the work which surprised me. First of all I thought that was really expensive, especially because he didn't know at the time how far down the plug was. He did unclog the drain but it only took him 20 minutes which meant I paid over $1,000 an hour! In addition, 2.5 weeks later it started to run very slow again and I'm afraid it will back up like it did before.I found out later that a few other plumbers would have done it for well under $200. I definitely won't be calling Mr. Rooter again. Live and learn I guess.Like I said, they were wonderful and fast and friendly, I just found them to be very expensive.

service was about an hour late. but, once here the journeyman made sure the apprentice was doing all things right. they worked the sewer and drain grease clog w/ mini hydro jet until it was clear. ok cleanup before leaving. communicated cost and what was being done from start to finish.

When our only toilet broke unexpectedly, Mr. Rooter responded immediately with a selection of toilets that allowed us to choose what we wanted. They came in the very next day, a Sunday, removed the old toilet and disposed of it, installed a new Toto toilet, and left the work area absolutely clean. They arrived when they said they would and worked quickly. Mr. Rooter got us out of a crisis with no hassle on our part.

I had a broken bath tub faucet thread on a Saturday evening. Ron from Mr. Rooter showed up early Sunday morning to fix it, and was all done a couple hours later. Ron was a great guy to work with. During this Stay at Home virus quarantine time, my teenagers managed to totally plug up my main toilet - leaving us with 1 functioning toilet at the other end of the house. Mr. Rooter was able to send a technician in under 12 hours to fix it! The technician was on time, professional (wearing required protection gear), and had the toilet operating I less than an hour. Kelly was patient and waited for me to arrive. My original appointment was between 5-7 but that turned out to be to wide of a window for my realtor. I contacted the company and was able to move the up earlier and have someone to complete my inspection within the hour. It worked our great and the Plummer explained what was shown on the video and the direction in which the line ran. I recommended having this company complete your sewer or plumbing inspection.

Very impressed with this company!!! Just before midnight water started coming up out of the downstairs shower. I called Mr. Rooter. The dispatch lady tried to help me over the phone, but I didn't know enough about my septic system to be able to follow her instructions. She put the service call in and about an hour later a tech was at my house. Jessie arrived and was the most helpful, polite and honest service tech. It was below freezing last night, and my problem was outside. Since I recently bought my home, I knew very little about the system or where things were located. Jessie took the time to explain the system to me, and show me where all the important parts are located. He never once got frustrated with my ignorance or questions. He genuinely wanted to help me understand how to maintain my septic system, and now I do! My problem, thankfull was just a dirty filter. Jessie got it cleared out and my drains all work properly again. Thank you Jessie! I hope I never have to call again, but if I do, I will be calling Mr. Rooter!

Repair person used toilet cable to unclog unit for approximately 15-20 minutes but said was unable to clear clogged toilet. Said would have to replace toilet. Gave me an estimate exceeding $1,000. The repair person was experiencing pain in foot that made it difficult going up and down stairs leading to bathroom and was not available next day to continue service which was OK. Felt estimate for continued work excessive and did not feel toilet need to be replaced for a clogged drain line. Looking for another service provider.

Just . So everyone knows. I contacted mr rooter on Wednesday about a leak in my house at the washer area. They scheduled me for the next day between 8am and 12 noon. At 11:15 on the day of the appointment, they called to say SORRY!!! we have no tech available today. Don’t count on this company for your plumbing problem

Great company and take care of your house. The condensation drip pipe was installed at an unpleasant location and became an eyesore. The previous plumber did it without my supervision, And didn’t consult where should the drip pipe should be placed. Mr Rooter responded to my complaint and came back out to redo the piping and move the eyesore drip pipe to a hidden location. They also had another contractor to come and fix the holes on my siding(where the previous drip pipe was). Kudos to the whole MR Rooter team. I will use Mr. rooter again.

The issue was fixed. The price was seemed really high; then I got a 'discount' and still paid almost $400. to replace the facet bearings??? Also while the tech wore shoe covers his pants were dirty and stained the mat in front for the sink. I had used your company before to fix the same issue on the other facet a couple of years ago and it was only ~ 135.00. I will look for and use another company the next time I have a plumbing need. Lost my business; while it may be small to your company, I would not nor will I recommend your company..

Response was good in our situation, not an emergency. Leaking outdoor bib stem was replaced. Leak was not stopped and a revisit was needed. Way overpriced. I contacted them to fix a broken pipe from the well at my property they gave me a quote for $3,200 dollars to get the issue fixed. I then contacted a specialized well company and they did the job for $750 dollars. Don’t overpay do a little research before you hire them.

I called 1 day and the next morning Pejmar came to my home to assess the problem with my kitchen drain not draining properly. I at 1st felt the charges were a little high, and so he broke it all down for me. I went ahead and gave him the green light to snake my line, worried there may be other reasons for it not draining properly, like the air valve or vent. After 3 attempts to snake my line more than 40 feet, we were finally able to get the drain to flow out. It took Pejmar over an hour & a half but by God he got my drain clear and functioning. Needless to say I am a very happy & satisfied customer. We had to brain storm to make sure we addressed all avenues to get the drain functioning again and with this, he listened to me and was very through in addressing all my questions. I can't say kinder things about this gentleman or express how professional Pejmar is with his job. I would highly recommend this company & this technician for your plumbing needs.

Couldn’t have had a more efficient, courteous knowledgeable service person as Alex had been. I hated to see what he cleared out of the drain, but he did it quickly and cleaned the mess up with rags and replaced everything back under the kitchen sink cupboard.

Our kitchen sink backed up, and also the drain vent pipe broke. This caused flooding in the kitchen and we were at out wit's end. Mr. Rooter to the rescue once again. The last time I needed help for a clogged drain was 8 years ago. Mark, the technician arrived on time, with mask and cloves on (remember COVID) was courteous, professional, and very gentle when explaining every step that he was working on. He came to a clean kitchen, and left a clean kitchen. He removed all debris, and left no trace behind.While emergency plumbing repairs give no time for the homeowner to be prepared for the sudden big expense, Mark made sure that I understood what the flat rate price covered, and made sure that I did not pay more than I needed (e.g. combining two different tasks to keep the cost down, etc.). If I have another plumbing emergency, I will definitely call Mr. Rooter (directly, and not through home project services like Homeadvisor, Angie's List, etc.).

I had called at night needing emergency help to unclog toilets. I was told we would be on an emergency list but it would be for sure between 10 and 1 the next day. (This same thing happen the last last time). I called to make sure we were on the list only to be told it's only a little after 11 and yes you are and I'll call you as soon as they are close. At 2 I was called and told it would be awhile yet. At 4 we were told he was in Olympia and should be here soon at 5 PM he showed up. Was here until 8:30. Techs are very apologetic and nice but this company has wasted so much of my time and patience.Twice now

Leaving this review on behalf of my dear 85+ yo Grandparents as I normally step in to help with technology but can't with plumbing issues. That's where Mr. Rooter comes into play. They wanted to praise their plumber Tommy Hagerman who did an excellent job of installing a brand new toilet the morning after they called to report they had a leaky toilet. Tommy followed high safety standard in regards to Covid protocol and they were very impressed with the efficient and fast service. Bob and Joyce say thank you for the 5 star service Tommy!

Repaired a water leak last weekend then replumbed the whole house today. Cannot begin to thank the technicians enough. Above the call of duty (job took 11 hours due to complexity) instead of the quoted 6. Very professional and a pleasure to have work on my home 🙂

My water had been cut off due to a leak and Scott arrived within a few hours of my call. He was very competent and helpful and resolved the problem very well I would certainly call Mr Rooter again and recommend them to my friends.

The 1st tech u sent out on Friday, Adam ,was knowledgeable but he left me at my house for 1 1/2 hrs with water still coming out of the hot water heater, while he went to home depo to see if they had a water heater. I wood think he would call 1st cause traffic is pretty heavy over here n Redmond at the time he leftWhen he returned he said that home depot didnt have the right water heater and Ferguson was closed another parts storeHe then disconnected 2 pipes to bypass the hot water heater and thats when the water quit coming out the top. I wood have done that small job b4 leaving for 1 1/2 hrs to home depo. That water was boming out for 5 1/2 hrs. We lost quite a bit of water. I was just disappointed n that part of his knowledgeHe said he would get up early Saturday morning and search out a water heater for usAt 9:30 i texted Adam and he said that he'd had no luck and id have to wait till monday for the next technician to come out. Wow, he didnt search very long. They had the water heater, they did a great job they didnt waste any time with getting water heater put n and up and running. The older gentleman cant remember his name was very knowledgeable and was training his assistant. I explained what Adam had done and he said that was kinda unacceptable in regards to leaving me here with water still coming out of the top of my water tankI was mopping and soaking up towelsMy carpets had to b ripped out. Maybe if Adam had stopped the leak b4 home depo I'd b more happy. But we're happy now. I won't list out all the grievances I had with these folks. I will just encourage you to get a second opinion before buying any services. They did work that wasn't necessary, and did it against municipal code. We called the city, who called our project manager to tell him he was breaking code. We were able to get half our money back and half the work undone.

Technician visited to troubleshoot drainage problem. He analyzed the situation and proposed three alternatives, ranging in cost and complexity. He was helpful and considerate of my needs. I would recommend Mr. Rooter without hesitation.

The technician, Brendon, arrived at our house promontly on time to address the bad odor coming from the master bathroom. He went right to work in the crawl space for any signs of sewer line malfunctioning . Some residue on the flange area under the toilet indicated an irregularity above. Going to the master bath, Brendon inspected for any obvious signs of leakage around the toilet base. There was some discoloration on the tile floor. After removing the toilet, he found the cause. When the toilet was originally installed, the wax ring that forms a waterproof seal had been installed slightly out of align, causing sewer gas to slowly leak out as well as some minor leakage. A new wax seal took care of the situation.Brendon was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. It was a pleasure having Brendon in our home.

I got this company to do work for us. They gave us a quote and then never gave us a final bill for the work they have done. They couldn't tell us what parts they bought for the job, how many hours their employees spent to do work for us. In our opinion, they overcharged us.In addition, they told their employee to leave us for they day because the employee had worked enough hours for the week. They left us for four days with a hole in the ground and said that it was ok for us to do normal things (which means that each time we used the toilet, our waste will be in the ground, open). I'm not sure how that is OK to have waste exposed like that.When they can't give me a breakdown of their service, they want to file a lien. I don't know how this company has been keeping their books and filing their taxes with the IRS every year if they don't even keep track on the parts and hours of the employees worked.Not only that I was frustrated that they left me for four days without the job being done, they want to file a lien because I want to know exactly what they worked on. Zero customer centric.

They are great and friendly but I gave them 3 stars because they don’t educate me about the thankless water heather. It showed in the agreement they are going to show how it works but none. Other thing is with my dryer. The vent that go from the dryer to outside has disconnected from the dryer. After I put my washed cloths in to the dryer and turned the dryer on and left the laundry room for a few minutes, for some reasons my daughter went back to the laundry and she found fill of smock. When I checked the vent it was completely disconnected. That was the worst experience. Please correct this problem for other customers.Thanks

Mr. Rooter provides very good and on time service. They seem to have a large enough organization to be able to arrive on to the job within a couple of hours or even quicker. Their people are neatly dressed and they do not leave a mess. They are also knowledgeable and efficient. They had our problem handled within an hour. I had toilet that ran. It was a newer Kohler power flush model. The tech from Mr Router told me he would have remove the tank and rebuild it. I declined and called another plumber, Spartan Services. Their tech came in and fixed it in 30 minutes and taught me how to do it in the future. The cost was less than half of Mr. Router.

We had a flow issue between our septic tanks, I called Mr. Rooter and scheduled the appointment for the next morning and they were there first thing....Wayne got right to work and had the clog cleared. Then Ken came out with a camera and ran it through the pipe to check for roots or any other issue that might cause us problems with our septic system. He identified a low spot in the pipe, where water wasn't flowing and would allow for another blockage. His crew was out the next morning and had the pipe replaced and we avoided another blockage in the near future with our 27 year old septic system. Thank you Mr. Rooter and teams!!!

Our guy Bal saved the day. He came and first evauated the scenario. He then methodically armed himself with the tooling needed. He went above and beyond my expectations with a 77 year old pipe. He also informed me of the psychology of the galvanized kitchen drain pipe and some dos and don'ts when it comes to keeping the sludge from reappearing. Many thanks to him and the Mr. Rooter team.

The cost is reasonable, and the plumber was very professional at identifying the location of the leak in the crawl space and located the right floor tile to cut cleanly to access the pipe.

My wife called and told the person answering the phone that we needed our house to septic line jetted out. The respondent instead used a snake which did not alleviate the clog. After repairing his equipment on site, he continued with the snake, then informed us that it wouldn't get rid of sludge and we would need to jet out the line. That is what we told them when we called the job in. So we paid $629, then would have to pay them again to come out and do what we originally asked them to do. We called another company to do the jetting. Had they done what we had asked first, the sludge / clog would be fixed. Refund is in order here.

Great service 2 days before Christmas when they unblocked our kitchen drain on the Saturday night before Xmas when we had a holiday brunch scheduled the next morning. This was on short notice. After working a long day the technician arrived at 7:30 was pleasant and got the job done in less than an hour.

We had a clogged toilet- one of those really unexpected entrapments: have to take care of it no matter what, and do it fast. I want to start by highlighting the positive: Mr. Rooter was extremely responsive from the moment I have submitted a request to find a vendor. Quick to call, ask me questions, schedule an appointment. When I asked the price for service (ballpark), all I was told is “we cannot quote you a price until a plumber comes on site to evaluate the problem. The visit charge is $39 which will be waived once the service is done”. Ok, sounds good! The plumber came, he was very professional, courteous, polite and fast. I want to make sure he gets all kudos he deserves! Here is the problem, though: when he walked in, he asked me 2 questions: which toilet is clogged and is every other toilet working. I answered. After that, he immediately showed me what the price is going to be: $220 (with all taxes). That’s for using the easy method of correcting it, like snaking it. If that did not work, then the toilet would have to be removed and it would be another price. So basically, without ever looking at the toilet, I was given a price. It’s because there are 2 types of prices, and they know it: for a simple clog and for when the toilet needs to be removed. This is the type of “on site evaluation” that was done. The plumber then unclogged the toilet with an “easy method” in 4 minutes (I timed it), which cost us $220.00.Now... I am not necessarily disputing the price itself- this is still capitalism and everyone can charge whatever they want for their services. What I am questioning is the pricing practices which appear to be meant to be deceitful. Clearly, it’s pretty obvious what I was going to pay (because the plumber showed me the price the moment he walked through the door without seeing the toilet)- why wasn’t I quoted that ballpark on the phone when specifically asked for it? I may or may not have kept the appointment. I probably would have kept it because let’s face it- the problem of a clogged toilet is disgusting and most people would want to make it go away. Which is why Mr.Rooter not quoting the price that is clearly already established, is hardly a respectable practice, which seems to be intentionally created. Knowing that, I won’t use them again. Wonder how many one time like myself customers Mr. Rooter is willing to tolerate. Doesn’t seem to be a business model build for longevity.

FOUR STARS DUE TO SCHEDULING TROUBLES. My appointment window was from 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m. The rep said they would call me when they were enroute, so when I hadn't heard from Mr. Rooter by 3 p.m., I called to confirm that someone was coming (this seemed prudent prior to driving the 30 min. to the property with my two small kids in tow). I was assured we were still on for the repair, but when I got to the property, I received a call saying they couldnt get a tech out there afterall. Luckily they were able to turn the situation around after I expressed my disappointment. After a work around on their end, they were able to honor the appointment day and time window. Upon arrival, Daniel and his trainee worked tirelessly to find a solution to our tricky plumbing issue. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to turn what could have been a below average experience into a really good one.

I was quoted a price, and when the first tech didn’t have the proper equipment, they sent out a second tech. The second tech was here for 90 minutes, fixed the problem. Same price, job done. Took a look at the situation, actually apologized for having to charge what he needed to and then proceed to fix the problem and showed me how to fix it next time if it should happen again. I called the company who got me in-touch with a manager. After explaining my situation the manager quickly had another technician Ron come out . I had two Apartment units in a building I manage that had a clogged shower drain. Jim spent roughly 30 mins on the first unit and instantly gave up. He called me and said he ran 15 feet of snake down the drain and failed to unclog the drain. He said he wasn't even going to try the second unit. I was speechless. I believe he should have at least tried to unclog the second unit. Resolving one of two issues would have been better than simply giving up.We call professionals as a last resort when all attempts fail. It's a little disappointing when a professional throws down the towel after one attempt. Now I'm sitting here waiting for another company to arrive, meanwhile I still have two residents with a clogged shower.On top of that no quote was given over the phone or in person. We would have either way paid at any cost to get the problem resolved.Update: company called this morning to apologize. I'm sure the company is reputable/reliable company in general. We just wanted to make sure their employees protray the same professional demeanor when dealing with customers who are stuck in a bad situation. We call because we need your help.

We called Mr Rooter because we have a sewer odor in our staircase and the toilets bubble when flushed which indicated a locked vent pipe. Brandon showed up Sunday without any equipment to check the vent pipes, we had to wait hours for Ryan to show up with the camera, while we waited we talked about random things and I mentioned that we would need a hot water heater soon so we all went down and looked in the utility room at the current hot water heater which is a 20 Arnold gas hot water heater, I wanted a tankless and Andrew called his boss to give us a deal- it was to be $4500 to have it installed and the work being done today would be comped- cool we thought we were getting a great deal! They used the cameras to check the lines and there was a blockage so we chose the higher priced option to use a hydro jet to clean the lines, my husband helped the guy do this because there was no one else available to turn the machine off and on while Brandon was on the roof and I didnt want to wait to get rid of the smell, the next day smell was just as bad, same with Tuesday. Wednesday Brandon came out to install the tankless hot water heater and couldn't because there is no outlet in the utility room- but dont worry he has an electrician he can call, um no. Just redo the hydrojets like you said you would and leave. This cost over $1000 and the smell is still there, oh and they couldn't check the two other pipes or hydrojets them be ause they are 1 1/2 pipes not 2 like the other three.I feel like we got scammed. The hanging around visiting for 2-3 hours while waiting for someone to show up with the proper equipment is nothing more than a way to try and gain a person's trust to scam them. We had a burst water heater pipe that needed immediate attention. Mr.Rooter sent Evans right away in half hour on a Saturday morning. Evans was very polite, corteous and knowledgeable. He gave us different options on how to fix the problem. Upon checking in with Dave the dispatcher at Mr.Rooters for our credit card payment, he was being rude to Evans. Not only it was unprofessional and disrespectful, it was a total inconsiderate of him to be rude to someone who was actually doing the actual job and getting dirty fixing it. Dave was just sitting in front of his computer and this type of unprofessionalism and rudeness to coworkers are toxic in anyones business. Next time be kind to people who is actually doing the job. Anyway, Evans did not stop until the problem was fixed and he fixed it good. Took longer than expected but I rather have someone take all the time they want and fix the problem right, than someone who took less time for a poor job. Good job Mr.Rooter for hiring Evans, he is a nice man and an excellent plumber!

Scott Roderick, our technician was, we observed was rather rough in snaking the toilet. While we understand that the toilet should have not broken we appreciate that it was replaced at a discount. Otherwise the job went fine.

I called Mr. Rooter on a Sunday afternoon for a plugged bathroom sink and bathtub. They had a sercice pro (Shawn) sent to my home within 2 hours. He was very courteous and knowledgable. He fixed the problem, and even cleaned up in an expeditious manner. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter for your plumbing needs.

had to call emergency plumber to detach gas range hose from gas pipe and reconnect larger hose to gas pipe and gas range. Pau came and was efficient, personable, and courteous. it took a lot of muscle power to undo the frozen connectors and to replace the right size nipple. We had a leak issue on a urinal that initially appeared to be challenging, but over a period of days (due to the weekend) before having another tech work on it, the situation seemed to right itself with the original fix. Tommy from me. Rooter is a real pro. When he walked in to our house, he immediately diagnosed the problem just based on our description . Unfortunately this required cutting open our ceiling to replace some old pipes, but his initial hypothesis was exactly what the root cause of our issue (clogged bathtub drain and water drip from the ceiling below) ended up being. I’m going to specifically ask for Tommy the next time I need some plumbing work done.

The first team they sent on Friday was worthless and didn't do much. At least they called the office to have another plumber (Jim) to come out on Sunday. Jim was super! He had years of experiance and worked on the drain over the course of 2 hours with a jetter and solved the problem! He even advised me on how to maintain my drain. If they hadn't sent Jim out, I would have given Mr. Rooter zero stars.

This is an update to an earlier negative feedback reply I submitted earlier in December. At that time, I was less than satisfied with the service and communication that I received from Mr. Rooter regarding their repair of my tree root clogged sewer line which backed up again within two weeks after they assured me it was clear. Following my less-than-stellar review, Ruben Tabion reached out to me and promised to correct the problem and acknowledged that they had 'fallen short' of their own company standard of service. He assured me he would make it right and, to that end, offered to take the extra step, at no charge, of digging up the problem area again, about 5ft down, and removing a large root that could not be cleared with the water jet. He also offered to install an epoxy pipe liner at, what he assured me, was his cost so there would never be a worry about the tree roots finding a way back into the pipe in the future. I agreed to having the liner installed and the work was completed within a few days as promised and documented with photos as I was not able to be home while the crew was working. Ruben requested that when the re-filled dirt settles in the area, to let them know and they will return to add topsoil and replant grass in the spring.So... I will say that after a rocky start, Mr Rooter has recovered my confidence in their service and I would recommend them to anyone who found themselves up to their ankles in similar unfortunate circumstances. This is one of those 'Dirty Jobs' that backs up into our lives occasionally and I wouldn't hesitate to call Mr. Rooter for expert, considerate repair service.

I asked my septic guy for a referral and Mr Rooter was his recommendation . Bal.arrived on time, assessed the clog, offered different options, provided a firm and reasonable quote, cleared the pipe, and explained everything including what we could do to improve our sewer system and avoid future issues. There are so many stereotypes for plumbers. I am thrilled to say that none of those came to pass while dealing with a broken kitchen sink. Mr. Tyler Locklear was spectacular. Polite, informative, on schedule, thorough, and a pleasure to have in my home on what turned out to be a very chaotic day. I have used Rooter plumbing before, but with this visit they have secured my loyalty. Plumbing is never cheap, but if you go in with your eyes open to that they will meet your needs. Nobody wants to use this service, but when you just don’t have a choice, go with these guys. If all of their guys are as good as Mr. Locklear, they are running one heck of a business.

I first had a different company do an estimate, hit me with a bunch of upsells and suggested work I didn't want. Mr. Rooter gave me an estimate over the phone based in some photos I sent, came and did the work I wanted and charged me what they said they would for half what the other guys bid. They're my firsr call for future, I can trust them to give me a straight story.

Two guys worked on jetting out 3 separate drain pipes. They were able to clear all of them including one that had a huge blockage. That one is flowing well again. They also ran cameras up the pipes to see if there was any damage or tree root blockage. Very professional. Arrived on time. Will use them again For future drainage needs.

Plumber disconnected and took away old DW & installed new one. Appliance store installer wouldn’t handle installation HW supply line, which is copper except at shut-off, overly cautious. Despite paying a multiple of appliance installation, plumber’s work was excellent, well worth the store’s, (rec’d credit), clean, no issues. I’ve experienced problems with store installers in past.

Blain was professional, courteous, and he listened well. We were looking for a diagnosis of a mystery leak. He ruled out several possible causes and determined it was probably a roof problem. We'll call Mr. Plumber again.

In late May our 20-yr old water heater was on its last legs. We called 2 companies to schedule a house appointment and get quotes, with Mr Rooter Plumbing being one of them (after seeing an ad on TV). Both companies were very helpful, but Mr Rooter stood above the other company in the areas of service and price. Korie P was very professional and knowledgeable in scheduling the appointment, while Tim R was outstanding in arriving on time, explaining every event that would happen, installing the new water heater, and doing extra things for free like installing a new kitchen faucet, and flushing every faucet in our 3-story house. I would highly recommend Mr Rooter Plumbing to anyone.

The personal was polite and explained as needed.Michael was the Service Professional ( the first contact0 . Brandon and crew were excellent and clean working . Our problem was a Side Sewer Backup. Five Stars.We were not satisfied with the finished job, the crew came back and the job was redone to our satisfaction.There was a disagreement on the final billing - another discussion that ended agreeably. Suggestion: The billing or agreement/contract needs to be itemized, every charge included in the total charge. I would recommend/use them again.

David P. and the whole Mr. Rooter crew were professionals and saw through to the end my drain pipe repair/replacement project. Their initial plan was to line the drain pipe, which is a trenchless solution that wouldn't require tearing up my deck. Unfortunately, that didn't work, because root infiltration had caused the concrete pipe to collapse. Mr. Rooter was able to switch to another technology, pipe bursting, also trenchless, and did the job professionally, without added headaches or costs. These aren't inexpensive solutions, but Mr. Rooter's prices were in line with other area providers.

We had a water heater break on the weekend and it was repaired within hours of calling them. Very prompt and professional! Great work and service, but REALLY expensive. You definitely pay for the convenience.

Please do not use this business. They are overcharging the customers and will use customers equipments to clean up the mess. I have requested itemized invoice on 5/31/22 and have not received any response from the business yet.

Company of rooters we found. Mr RooterWhen they attempted to Aug the toilet it got caught upon the jet hose the other company lost down the stackIt took man power to dig holes. Trace lines reconstructed a purge line..The hose had literally blocked our lines so we had to go no flow for awhile... it seemed forever... but thank you Ryan for helping us get back to civilizationMr Rooter put in many more hours and materials into making sure we would have the hose gone and all I've for mentioned... but what I didn't mention before is the best part....they insure their work and give lifetime guarantees on their work.What I guarantee is noone will be on my call list but Mr Rooter in times of plumbing troubles.After they completed their work they checked their work about 5 days later. Ran a camera made sure we were doing good.Mr Rooter is also helping us finance the job they did because we do not come in on the wealthy side. They did not go above their quote even though most companies would.We always knew what was happening and why. You never know how important plumbing is to a home until you are try to stop sewage from getting to the hard wood floor.I dont fear that now... I've got Mr Rooters number and Ryan and crew... clean, polite,Smiles and warm handshakes...If Mr Rooter gives you a price that might be higher than others it wont be by much. Everything was great except the price. We talked about everything that needs to be done and I was given the estimate price (after tax) of $2200. However, at the end I had to pay $ 2670 which was way different from the original Quote.

Of course it was Saturday night when my sewer backed up...not a fun experience at any time, but this was especially stressful. The staff at Mr. Rooter were thoughtful throughout the whole ordeal and made sure that life went back to normal as quickly as possible.

I would give a 5 star, but there was a couple of problems. Workers didn't show up when supposed to at times. But it did work out in the end. There was a couple of communication problems, but got fixed. Mostly I am happy with the work done.

I had leak from sink, I got estimate from you to fix $250, first plumber was not able to stop the leak, they send second plumber he found the leak and told me that he will cleaned out old caulking from around the sink and re caulk entire sink. He went out and came back and told me that his boss said it is liability to clean out the old caulking and he caulked on top of old caulking. In a week everything starting peel off. I have taken pictures to show you. I don’t understand why $250 charge? Job is not done right, leaking again since the caulking is peeling off

I had a stopped bathtub drain that ended up being a completely clogged 75 year old cast iron drain, dead center between floors of my home. It took multiple technicians, trips, cameras & hours in a cramped crawl space but they found & solved the problem & the final bill was not out of line, given the circumstances & time it took to locate the clog.

Recently bought a new house. Pepe came out and gave me a walk through of what I'm looking at and a very fair itemized bill for what it would take to fix the various issues. Very happy with Mr Rooter and Pepe!
