Our 1950s house had a mix of old galvanized steel pipes and copper added during some previous renovations, and we wanted to replace the rusting galvanized steel with PEX and move the main water shut-off to an accessible location. Jacob was able to visit for an estimate right away, gave us a competitive quote, and, most importantly, could schedule the job within a tight time-frame. He was very knowledgeable and also recommended other possible improvements, like replacing the toilet lead bend, updating the shower valve, and getting a PRV.

We wanted to do everything by the book and get a proper permit from the county. Anthony's Plumbing handled this process for us, from the application to the inspection. The work itself was clean and fast. The water heater closet looks very impressive now, almost like a mad scientist's lab 😂 Since parts of our house are resting on a slab instead of a foundation, Jacob and his team had to come up with some creative solutions, like running the pipes outside of the house through an attached shed. And they even fixed a few other things along the way. We're glad we picked Anthony's Plumbing and plan to use their services in the future.

Anthony's Plumbing is great! This is the second job we've had Jacob do at our house. This week he saved us from a leak in mainline between our house and the city meter. He answered our questions, was frank with us about the different options for fixing the leak and how that might play out in the future. He did good quick work and we would (and since we're humans with a house that has plumbing in it, we probably will have to) call him again to fix something.

Our tankless water heater died. We called Jacob at Anthony’s Plumbing Co. based on stellar reviews from previous customers. It turns out the reviews were well deserved. Jacob is knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, honest and a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, analyzed the issue and offered reasonable alternative solutions. Once we decided, Jacob followed thru and completed the work promptly. Next time we have a plumbing issue, we’ll call Jacob and Anthony’s Plumbing Co. So should you!

Our old water heater suddenly started leaking late on a Friday night and I was very thankful Anthony’s Plumbing & Water Heater Seattle was able to send out a technician on the very next day (Saturday) to install a new heater. Trevor E. was the installer and he was very professional and patiently answered all my questions. He was prompt, courteous and carefully explained why he upgraded several fittings/plumbing fixtures. All in all, a great job!!

We are new homeowners and did not have a go-to plumber yet when we had a leak under our kitchen sink from an old valve. We had tried to replace the valve ourselves before but were unable to get it off due to its age and the nearby pipes that made turning a wrench tricky.

I texted Jacob the details, he responded quickly and he sent out CJ the next day. They gave me updates on arrival time and arrived about when expected. CJ was professional and quick, getting the old valve replaced in no time, and he was very gracious about being barked at by my dog. Since the minimum charge includes an hour of work, we had CJ replace 4 more of the same type of valve under our other sinks to prevent future leaks. CJ also answered some questions I had about the way our kitchen sink plumbing was set up. Invoice came in right at the price we expected.

We will definitely be calling Anthony's Plumbing again in the future for our plumbing needs!

Highly recommended for your installation and replacement water heater needs! Our 2008 water heater began to degrade over the last day with a leak then finally no hot water after 2 days. On Friday at 12pm we called Anthony’s Plumbing & Water Heater Seattle and Sean was able to slot us in for the next morning. We were told 9am-12pm for Saturday morning and was given a quote based on location and type of the current water heater. Saturday morning at 9:15am I received a text that a technician had been dispatched to my house and 1 minute later received a call from Jim that he and Justin would be arriving within 30 minutes. They arrived with masks on and walked me through the work they would do based on assessment of the replacement work. The total they calculated was within the quoted price and did not change once their work was done. They were very professional and patient with my questions and did a great job communicating and cleaning up after their work was complete. In total they able to complete the replacement of the water heater in less than 3 hours (including the assessment and payment of services).

Top 3 reasons to call Anthony's Plumbing:

1) For at least standard, run-of-the-mill jobs, they gave me an estimate WITHOUT requiring an onsite visit. All others I called had mandatory onsite visits for an estimate that they would use to pressure me to use them, and some gain even more leverage over you with a fee for their mandatory onsite estimate.

2) Outstanding communication and service. I was always kept in the loop on what was going on, and even knew when the very professional and friendly plumber was on his way to my house. And an unforeseen curve-ball required new estimates, which arrived in about 5-8 minutes.

3) No pressure service. In the end, I had to choose between the estimated job, a cheaper one, and a more expensive one. They provided advice on all three, and with zero pressure did a great job on doing the cheaper job.

At the very minimum, give them a call.

Best plumbing experience by far and fairly priced compared to other big name plumbing companies. Jacob did an excellent job, was professional and provided tons of free education and advice for other future plumbing needs and current existing trouble areas I have.

Jacob was great and very professional. We hired Anthony’s Plumbing for initial rough in for new shower in bathroom remodel. He worked through options with us as we’re managing most of this ourselves for this project. Quality was excellent and his plumbers were awesome. I would definitely use them again.

We were looking to replace an older tankless hot water heater with one that had recirc built-in. Jacob was the only one to realize we didn't need TWO hot water heaters and that we could consolidate and put in a dedicated recirc line serving the whole house. He explained his rationale clearly, listened carefully and responded to all our questions, and did a top-notch job, on time and on budget. He also found and fixed two problems along the way!

We had an incident where a contractor accidentally screwed in a bolt through a water pipe. Jacob came out on the same day and repair it right away!
All I had to do was to send him few photos before he arrived. When Jacob arrived, he took a look at the situation, walked us through his processes, and gave us really through explanations on what he's doing while fixing the pipe.

I contacted Anthony's Plumbing regarding some issues we were having with our garbage disposal, and Jacob responded within the hour. He sent out CJ the same afternoon, and it was determined we needed a new disposal so we were scheduled the very next morning for the install. While CJ was onsite, I thought of another issue we were having with running out of hot water despite having a large capacity hot water tank. So the next morning, CJ replaced our disposal while Jacob diagnosed the problem with the water tank. He repaired the thermostat, and in less than 24 hours from when I first contacted Anthony's Plumbing, we had a new garbage disposal and double the amount of hot water! With a toddler who's constantly playing on the floor, I appreciated that CJ took off his shoes at the door without being asked. He was also very tolerant when said toddler was screaming his head off and when my fur-babies gave him a bit too much attention. Anthony's Plumbing was prompt and professional, and we'd not hesitate to use them again.

Jacob and his crew are always great. For my first experience, he responded quickly, made it out as soon as possible despite his busy schedule and answered all my questions. When issues popped up, he resolved them and got the job done. He even suggested a couple of things that would add value for me at minimal cost.

A different time, when an outdoor spigot was leaking into my house, another member of his team came to my house (he was actually early, but didn’t mind waiting for me), and quickly made the repair, coming in under the estimated time.

Amazing! We had a pretty bad leak from outside hose, and they came first thing in the morning and replaced the parts and fixed it all very quickly. Will definitely call again if something else comes up.

Jacob is a lifesaver! He’s responsive, reliable, and very professional. Our Rinnai tankless water heater broke and we were having trouble finding a certified technician to assess the problem. I called Jacob at 9pm at night and he picked up. He talked with me and then my landlord that same night for about an hour and a half. He was able to do an initial assessment through photos and then came over the next day to do an in-person assessment.

CJ did an excellent job not only with installation of the new toilets and four shut off valves but with walking me through the processes.

Professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair and very efficient. Jacob is very responsive, and really knows his stuff. Local to West Seattle, arrives on time and has done a fantastic job doing all the rough in plumbing in the bathroom, installing a new washing machine drain and inlet, installing three new water heaters and basically removing the old galvanized steel pipes and repiping the whole triplex. We had three separate plumbing systems coming from one water line, it was messy! Jacob, with his helper CJ, got it all done within 5 days! Everything was up to code and done to a high standard. Jacob communicated any progress and potential issues along the way.

I had an excellent experience working with Jacob and I highly recommend him as your plumber. I hired him to replace my 10 year old tankless water heater which was leaking. I got three quotes in total and Jacob's was the cheapest. He also gave the best first impression as he is transparent and fair. I really appreciated that he walked me through a cost/benefit analysis of all of my options and did not try to oversell me on things that I didn't need. On the day of the install, Jacob showed up on time and even worked through lunch to get the unit installed in a timely manner. After the install, the water coming out of my fixtures was nice and hot but I had some issues with my radiant floor heating not working properly. Jacob was nice enough to come back out at no charge and help troubleshoot and fix the issue. After multiple experiences dealing with large plumbing companies that overcharged me for work that never fixed my issue, Jacob was a breath of fresh air to work with. He is professional, knowledgable, and very reasonable and you won't regret hiring him as your plumber.

Jacob completed a whole house repipe for us using copper pipes, and replaced most of our old drainage pipes. The quality of his work is fantastic, and he is very pleasant to work with. We especially appreciated that Jacob is detail-oriented, thoughtful and careful with his work (including with your home!), a creative problem solver, and great at listening to his customers. His prices are also competitive. We would hire him again in a heartbeat, and enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

We want to thank Jacob for his rapid response and suggestions to replace our bathroom faucets and install a shower head. Jacob explained the issues with replacing the entire shower system and we followed his advice and are satisfied with the result. In addition the final cost for the project was half the estimate of the two large plumbing businesses in West Seattle.

**By far the best contractor experience I've ever had.**

I had Jacob come out and upgrade the plumbing for my basement remodel including: new gas lines, shower / toilet drains, and the installation of a custom steam shower system. It turned out perfectly.

I contacted Jacob about installing a reverse osmosis filtering system under the kitchen sink. He was very responsive, spent time with me on the phone & text advising about what system to get. He arrived on time, finished the work in the estimated 2 hours. Was very prompt, professional, and pleasant to deal with. I will certainly reach out to him again when I need plumbing done!

Jason was able to schedule CJ to come out and fix my leaking toilet the next day, after I assured him we had another bathroom we could use in the meantime. He texted to let me know CJ was running a bit behind schedule, and followed up with a text asking if it all went well after the job was done. CJ was able to diagnose the problem quickly (leaking donut seal between the tank and the bowl, and disintegrated seals on the tank. He had it fixed in less than an hour, so the cost was reasonable. I will call Anthony’s the next time I have a plumbing issue.
