Andy and Gabe were professional and courteous as well as some of the most personable people I have met in a while. While Andy may become my favorite after meeting with him, I must say everyone's favorite person at Schrader's has to be Star as she always answers the phone with a positive can do attitude. That is hard to come by these days.

Very bad experience with this company! They tried to price gouge me for 2 busted water lines in my garage. The first estimate was $1,350 and then Russell came back with a lower estimate of $950. Sorry, John! I sent Russell and his helper packing! My local Irving plumber fixed my busted water lines for $425.00

I called Schrader Plumbing at 8AM on a Thursday and by 9:15AM, they were already at my house. My technician was Wes Parnell and he immediately diagnosed my issue just from a quick synopsis from me and had everything fixed and put back together within 15 minutes. Pricing was fair and Wes was very personable and efficient. I will 100% be using them again in the future and cannot recommend them enough!

Sergey Nukulin was on time for the estimate. He came out because the pilot on my water heater kept going out. He quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a simple fix, but the unit was old. So, we went ahead and replaced it. The installation was quick, but what impressed me was that they called to reschedule the appointment because another customer had lost water to their entire house and they were trying to get to them as quickly as possible. As someone who has had similar emergencies in the past, I appreciate Schrader making room for folks who are in dire straits.

Chris and Eli came out to find and repair a gas leak. They found both leaks and fully what they needed to do to fix them, and we’re very upfront about how much it would cost to repair.

Had a slab leak seeping up through our dining room floor. Our under ground water main from our Well was leaking and had to be cut off and rerouted through the attic. Big job but Mike from Schrader Plumbing handled it! Thanks for a Great Job!!

Eli and Schrader are outstanding. I have a '41 pier and beam and have had plumbers in my house before finding Schrader. They are levels above others I've dealt with. They did a complete replace of my galvanized pipe with pex and did so without tearing out any walls; no other companies I got estimates from were going to be able to do that. Top recommendation from me. Ty folks.

I asked for a quote on a 17 Kohler elongated toilet replacement. They quoted $625.I authorized the repair & scheduled it. Once they pulled the toilet out they called saying another $750 was needed for repairs. What could I do but authorize it? They finished the repair & my daughter paid for it.Upon inspection they installed a round toilet. When I called about it they argued until I showed them the quote with the correct toilet on it in writing. Then it took them 2 weeks to get back around to installing the correct one.

I called Schrader because the owners have integrity and professionalism. That is what drives great businesses. I was not surprised when their team was able to follow up and schedule me exactly when I needed them. The work was done to my satisfaction and they will be my first call from now on and when anyone asks me to refer a plumber. Thank you team Schrader!!

Friendly, trustworthy service tech. Good work and price is always fair. They don’t overcharge or suggest unnecessary repairs. Have used in the past and will use again.

Rafael went above and beyond in the installation of our water heater. He wanted to make sure that we can easily access and service the panels in a really cramped corner of the house, so he did some tidy pipe extensions so that the water heater could face us when we open the door. We really appreciate the extra effort.

My daughter moved into a house last weekend and we found that both washer faucets leaked badly when connected. Schrader was there in about 30 minutes, gave a fair estimate and took about thirty minutes to replace both valves. The plumber clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Fair price. Great work, Quick response. What more could you ask for? We will be using them for some other work that needs to be done.

With all the emergencies going on, I was just another phone call but from the start this company has been nothing but nice and professional. They fit me in quickly due to my pipe breaking in the wall which flooded my kitchen. The plumber showed up on time and was super friendly. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the pipe quickly and with ease. Everything in this process was made easier because of this company. I will use them in the future for sure. I've had John replace a water heater, and fix issues a siding company messed up. Every time I've dealt with him, he has been more than professional. I can always trust that the job will be done right with his company.

Andy B was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job getting our clothes washer drain line cleared. He took the time to make sure that the line was cleared and even did a final test with a drain of the laundry machine to make sure the issue was resolved. Excellent service!

Schrader plumbing is our go to every single time! The last call we thought we had a plumbing leak in our wall. Gustavo came and very quickly let us know that the leak was a roofing issue. They were fast, honest and cleaned everything up after they were finished. We highly recommend them.

We just had Michael Simmons from Schrader Plumbing install our whole house water filtration system and he did an amazing job!!! We would highly recommend Michael and we plan on using him for any other plumbing needs we may have in the future. We had a total of 4 plumbers before Michael give use quotes and try to install our filtration system. All of them said it couldn't be done or gave us the run around. We had our system for 3 to 4 months before it was finally installed. Michael was able to not only do the job with excellence he also started the same day. We are so excited and super grateful for Michael's hard work and the great customer service we experienced at Schrader Plumbing!

It’s so refreshing to find a business that does not take advantage of people. Andy showed my son what the problem was and offered to do it himself or show my son how to simply fix it himself. I’m a widow, on a fixed income and I’m so very thankful for Andy’s help. My son was able to make this repair in 30 minutes after Andy left! I will definitely use this company again!

Tuck is the plumber who did our work. After talking with him, I believe what he recommended that we needed to do should be done. He did the work and showed us what was a problem and what needs to be done in the future. I trust him!

I was very nervous about such a big project of changing drains underneath the house, but Eli and his apprentice were very professional and explained everything in detail about the work that needs to be done. Eli answered all of my questions in detail. I got quotes from other plumbers but I did not feel comfortable with them. But with Schraders plumbing, I felt I could trust them. Eli and his apprentice did a great job in changing all the pipes. Throughout the work he kept me in the loop and informed me about everything and it was obvious that Eli wanted to make sure that the job was done perfectly. Overall, my interaction with everyone at Schraders plumbing was great. They are very professional and know what they are doing and want what is best for the customer. I highly recommend them. Nice guy and short wait time to get appointment

I asked for plumbing wellness report. They did not bother to send me one. All I received was an invoice for $1,5000 for a water heater that does not need replacement yet. My realtor introduced me to Schrader plumbing and am not happy because I lost a buyer because they failed to send the report . They do not have e-mail to e-mail them. Just wasted $150. I will not use this company again

Rafael and Alex were great. Gave me a free estimate and unclogged my sewer line. They made sure I was satisfied with the work and showed me the camera so I could see how the line was cleared and everything is flowing now. Would definitely recommend them.

$1600.00 for about % 4-5 hours of work and maybe $300.00 in parts is a bit pricey. But I guess when you're over a barrel what do you do....The Tech that came out was very professional and did an awesome job..but not $1600.00 worth... This is not Heather it's her husband Christopher Allen

Well had to have them out AGAIN!A valve on my water heater was leaking. They were here the same day and when they said they would be. The work is done and I have complete faith it was done right.Look, I hate plumbing problems because getting someone in is a royal pain. But if I need to have someone in, it will be Schrader.

Highly recommend Schrader Plumbing. During busy season when other plumbing shops said it would be 2 to 5 days, Not only did Schrader set up an appointment for next day, they also called me back and were able fit me in earlier than planned due to another appointment was cancelled. They were able to come same day and fix the issue. Roberto was professional, explained the problem and solution. Good experience for having a plumbing problem, which is never fun!

I have used Schrader Plumbing two times. Both have went smooth and professional. Phone was answered right away and easy scheduling. Everything is completed electronic after that. Highly recommended.

Replaced shut off valve for dishwasher as well as disconnected old dishwasher. As well as removing it from the house.

They sent a text and a picture of the tech that was coming to repair our pipe. I really appreciate that! He was very professional and had our pipe fixed and ready to go within an hour. He did nice clean job and the pipe looked great. Overall good experience and professional team! Highly recommend!

Schrader Plumbing is, by far, the best plumbing company we have used. We've had a variety of issues due to our houses age, but every issue we've called in has been solved quickly and efficiently by Shrader Plumbing's employees. The prices are good, the workers are personable and professional, and the results are fantastic. Anybody in the NRH area should employ them for plumbing issues.

This was the 2nd time I’ve used them. They do quality work for a reasonable price. It’s always been a master plumber and one plumbers helper. The helpers are very experienced as well. The impressive part is the amount of respect they have for each other as well as the homeowner.This job included: Gas piping to stove, install dishwasher, garbage disposal, kitchen faucet supply lines. I had to ask them to move the supply lines after their initial install due to a storage unit going in later. My fault, I should have told them first. They stayed and moved the lines. I’m quite pleased with the end result.

We needed all new sewer lines and had been working with another company, we weren't too thrilled with them and after seeing Schrader trucks driving around & in our neighborhood, decided to give them a call and get a second quote and process. We were so happy we did! Ultimately we chose Schrader due to not only the quote coming in lower, but the time frame to get the quote was quick & efficient. Damien, the master plumber, talked through everything with us and answered all our questions. They were able to schedule the work quickly to meet our needs. They have strong communication and strive to ensure customers are happy. As issues were found they let us know and what it would cost to take care of them. We were very happy with the entire process, it was more than we really expected work wise but they answered each of our concerns. I know that word of mouth and reputation is the best way to help a business, so I wanted to share that if you're considering a plumber, Schrader is the way to go!

The Schrader Co. had the most pleasant, informative and knowledgeable customer service I have ever experienced. The communication was top notch. We have found our go-to plumbing company.Eli was a pleasure to work with. He explained exactly what he was going to be doing, as well as his dig crew, so there were no questions left for me to ask. Eli has an awesome sense of humor and was fun to spend some time with.

I cannot recommend Schrader Plumbing enough. These folks are the best. After getting all kinds of crazy quotes and time lines for a sewer line repair, I called Schrader. I was promptly greeted by a live person, not an answering machine. I explained my situation and they had a technician on their way to me in minutes. Literally 20 minutes later, Wes Parnell was at my door. about 5-10 minutes after that, he had the situation diagnosed and quoted (quite reasonably, I might add) and the work was scheduled... for the next day! I had been told by others it may take a week or so. The customer service from the dispatch to Wes and his crew was top notch. I will not use another plumbing service other than Schrader. The plumber took the time to carefully assess the problem as well as pointing out possible future concerns. The work was well done, clean up was thorough, and charges were quite reasonable. He was very positive and pleasant to work with.

The knob to the hot water line on our clothes washer broke off, and out external faucet was leaking. He also suggested some fixes we could do ourselves to save money. It seems like all of my plumbing problems occur in the late afternoon or early evening! I called John after I got home from work about my hot water leaking and the fact I was unable to turn off the water at the inlet. it was close to 6:00 but John said he or his crew would come out and see what could be done to shut off the water and advise me on the replacement of the heater. His crew arrived in about 20 minutes and were able turn off the water. We made arrangements to replace the heater and the necessary piping the next day. They did a great job and left the house looking like new. Many thanks to John and his team.

Mike and Joe came in and cleared a tough drain issue in ten minutes that the previous plumbing company could not accomplish after multiple attempts and suggesting unnecessary hole cut in ceiling to replace unneeded replacement parts. Grateful to have found Schrader and will definitely depend on them for future services.

Jeff and his assistant, Joe, replaced supply valves, gas lines and pressure relief line for two new water heaters that I had purchased from Lowe’s. They also replaced an outside water spigot with a new spigot. I observed as they worked and I can honestly state that their work quality was top notch! I highly recommend Schrader Plumbing and these two employees!

I can't speak highly enough on the owner John. Had a plumbing issue, went in to speak with him hoping that I could get it fixed. There was a lot that had transpired and even with that John took care of me. They were out and done in less than 24hrs, he communicated throughout and was on the jobsite himself. That alone spoke volumes!! With so much going on in this world, business struggling, just being in this crazy world I was amazed that he still carried the work ethic that built this country. I needed two items fixed, a clogged drain and a leaking faucet. The guy that came only does drains not faucets, so I will have to schedule another plumber to come finish my work. I also thought the price was higher than usual just to snake a drain that took 15-20 minutes to fix.

I contacted Schrader Plumbing about a water heater leak in my home. There were a few issues along the way due to a faulty breaker in my house, but the company was very helpful and patient as we worked through the problems. Matt from Schrader Plumbing was fantastic. He originally was called out to fix a broken valve, but found a gash in a water line caused by a different contractor. Matt moved quickly and solved both issues. He educated me and then got to work, completing the work in a timely manner. Highly recommend Schrader Plumbing!

This place has great communication. I got an estimate to replace my water heater and I had a couple of questions. I emailed them and had a response from John (the owner) within a couple of hours addressing my concerns. I ended up setting an appointment to have my water heater replaced on a Thursday. Notification for my appointment was sent through text, email, and they called to let me know when they were on their way. I was not home- But, my Dad was at my house for the replacement. He said the guys were quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. Everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, on that following Sunday- I noticed that my water heater was leaking. I called and Brad was immediately dispatched- showed up, identified the issue, and got it fixed and up and running in thirty minutes. It was a minor inconvenience that turned out just fine due to the immediate attention to my situation as a customer. I feel bad that Brad had to come out on a Sunday- But, thank you for taking care of me and solving the issue so quickly!

We called Schrader Plumbing out because we thought we smelled gas coming from our water heater. Their tech, Jeff Burks, came out. He was very personable. He checked our water heater for us and confirmed everything was fine. They didn’t even charge for coming out. I am blown away by that level of customer service. We used them during “Snowmageddon” for a burst pipe. They came out quickly when no one else was available for weeks. They fixed the pipe without price gouging. We would definitely use them again.

The lady on the phone was quick and efficient. The plumber, Jeff, arrived on time, very puntual.He was so quick to detect the problem, I can tell he's got years of experience.He was kind, professional, quick, energetic, and even smiley. It's hard to get all of those qualities in one person. He didn't leave a mess behind, he was very clean.I will definitely hired them again, probably Jeff, and I will definitely recommend them.We're very satisfied with their service. We've had this problem for a week and a half and he took care of it in less than an hour!

Gustavao and Shaun performed the maintenance on my tankless water heater. They were on time, polite and professional. A few years back I had a nightmare of an experience with 'the punctual plumber'. I had to fire them and called Schrader. I have used them ever since.

Not pleased at all. Price is ridiculous. Work is shoddy. Had an under slab leak supposedly repaired and when they came back to test now its 1000 dollars worth of tests to see if they fixed the problem in the first place. Put toilet back on after work and it was wobbly and didn't reseal after. Now back out here for tests and it was someone else's fault the toilet flange is broken even though they are the only ones who have ever done any repairs on it. Every time they have been out here there has been an add for this service they need to do and an add for that service. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

A homeowners worst nightmare is replacing all plumbing under a slab foundation. But Schrader made it as painless as possible. When they started the job they stayed on it every day until finished. When it was all done, you couldn't tell they had been here. They were polite, professional and always on time. I'd highly recommend them.

I was able to get an appointment quickly to fix a shower leak. Schrader plumbers identified and fixed the problem, left the house neat, and gave lots of suggestions to prevent problems in the future. Would recommend.

First the good: Quality of work done is high. I am happy with the end result. Now the not-so-good: Price was off the charts. I was somewhat committed to get the work done due a slow leak I was responsible for. I know the tech does not set the prices - the company does. These folks are evidently at the high end of things when it comes to price. My service window was also missed by many hours. No one called to indicate a delay - I had to chase up and see what the deal was. Also, I was charged an additional fee for 'unforseen issues.' Basically this was because the tech had to cut off the old faucet. Since the service I found out how to remove the faucet without cutting with some simple online searching/YouTube - not simple but still, I would expect more from a pro, high dollar plumbing company. What took Schrader three hours total took me one hour on another similar job. It's doubtful I will use them again.

Allen explained what he was going to do and what he found in testing my water and sewer system. He seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Responsive staff. Plumber rrived within the window specified. He was friendly but professional. Did the work quickly & efficiently. My only dig was there was another plumbing item (clogged sink) that I wanted him to look at but he was only scheduled for toliet replacement so I have to book another appoint for that.

Brad Threadgill is the best plumber I have had work on a home. I have had the misfortune of dealing with multiple plumbing issues over the past few year . As a result, I have worked with multiple plumbers. They all come in with promises and give you a similar line to get the job. I'll be honest, when Brad came in smiling and telling me what he was going to be able to do for my family, I was a little skeptical that he was being truthful. He delivered on his word and was unlike any plumber I have worked with or heard about. Turns out the smile was genuine and he cares about his work and customers.This is a veteran owned business that takes pride in their company and work. Take it from me and choose Schrader for your next job.

Technicians were friendly and tried to be helpful in explaining the work they were doing. It is a bathroom remodel project where tub drain needed fixing and prep, floor mounted faucet and shower valve install. Be sure to get a line item estimate when working with this company. We were quoted for certain work and while there was a crack in the pea trap that needed fixing, there was other work that we discussed doing that ended up not being needed like cutting a hole in the wall, cutting up the slab to relocate the drain and minimal shower changes compared to what we discussed. The job ended up costing almost 1k more than quoted with an additional 500 to 600 to install once the tile is done. The invoice has no details, just a lump sum charge. The estimate did not include the details we had discussed. In the end the drain pipe is located below the slab, not installed as per the tub specs and the technician cut a pipe too short which I have had to reorder due to the finish. He attempted to find something at Home Depot to replace but it is flimsy compared to the original and the finish doesn't match. We splurged on the tub so I was very disappointed to see the pipe kit basically ruined. I will not be asking them back to complete the install.

Fantastic service!!! I had a plumber at my door the next day. James Tuck was our guy and I would recommend him to anyone!!! He is an expert at his craft and super nice!!! I truly hope we will never need plumbing service again, but if we do we're using Schrader!!!

Well they got the job done but after telling me on Tuesday that they would be at my home on Saturday I never heard back from them.So after being without hot water all week I called them on Friday and they admitted to forgetting about me but were able to get someone out to do the work as promised on Saturday.I was told that if they needed to do a rerouted of my plumbing (indicating a lot of work and materials) it would be $1,800 and to penetrate the slab it would be more. After 2 hours of work (total to include showing them the problem till they left my home, at most 1 hour worth of actual work after set up and clean up) I was charged $1,600.The actual repair was connecting two pipes together that were about 12 inches apart, bypassing the section under my slab. My Brother-in-law is a cardiothorasic surgeon & doesn't make that much (per hour) for heart bypass surgery.They said that technically the repair was a re-rout but that they were going to give me a break and only charge $1,600, instead of $1,800 for a re-route.......Well it fixed the problem but WAY OVER PRICED!!!

I had water coming up through my living room flooring. Never had a plumbing issue before so I googled and called a handful of plumbing companies in the area. The first to respond back and have someone out was Schrader. Matt was out within a few hours of me calling and quickly went to work. After the diagnosis, I found out it was a slab leak on the hot water line. Matt was out the next day and the issue was fixed! Great service from Matt, who was informative, friendly and most of all proficient. They’ve got a customer for life now. I will be calling Schrader Plumbing the next time I run into a problem(hopefully not anytime soon).

Michael was very friendly, and seemed to be knowledgeable. I had them come out because one of my showers would not get hot. Turned out to be a diverter valve, which Michael said he could rebuild and cost would be just under $400. I had him proceed with the repair, he said he had the parts on his truck, but turned out he didn't, so he had to go get them. Once he returned, he got to work. About 15 mins later he came out and said that one of the screws in the valve broke while trying to remove it, so he was unable to access the part he needed to get to. It was an old shower valve so I went along with it. The only option now was to replace the entire valve assembly and he would have to go into the wall to complete (all drywall, no tile as he could access from behind). New quote was now nearly $1100. At this point I'm stuck because I need a working shower. Michael goes to the store again to get the new shower faucet/valve, which I checked and is a $59 piece (Home Depot, same part). He was here actually working for about 2 hours and parts were, let's just say $100, so I was apparently charged about $500 per hour in labor. I am not actually sure though, because I can't seem to get an itemized invoice. Just one that says replace shower valve and the cost. Not to mention, I decided to continue to use my existing shower head, and was not left the new one that I paid for. I called the office and spoke to the lady that answers the phone and was told she'll see if she can get Michael to provide the requested items. No response since. He also did zero clean up, there was drywall all over my bathroom and bedroom, and a complete mess left in the bathtub. I have used this company before and was happy with the service, but never again. The only companies that don't give an itemized invoice are ones ripping you off. Very disappointed!! Buyer beware!!!**update** I had another plumbing company out today, (a week later) for a seperate issue. I asked the plumber what they would have charged for this repair, as I showed him what was done since I have not patched the hole in the wall yet. He told me that would have been a $475-500 job for them. When I told him what I was charged, he honestly could not believe someone would charge that much. As for John's response, I never complained about Michael having to go get parts, also I removed all of the shelving in the closet myself, and the part Michael came back with DOES include the valve and trim pieces (see attached). There is nothing that was done in my wall that could possible justify the amount i was charged. Nice try, I stand by my honest review, which is more than I can say for Schrader Plumbing.

I noticed I was slowly collecting water up by the house over a few days. I called Schrader Plumbing and they said they could get someone out 8 am next day but they would put me on the waitlist for a cancellation today. Luckily I got a call back in an hour that someone had cancelled. They sent Jeff and his apprentice right over. I got them to repair a main shutoff valve that was out in front of the house, an exterior water valve and two valves inside, since they were there. Excellent work. Excellent manners. They called and confirmed my tech was on the way. I got a name and bio about the tech who was on the way.Chad was -early- to the appointment. He was understanding and professional when I arrived a little late. (I was only a couple minutes away!) He found the problem and repaired the issue and pointed out what caused it. The price was SUPER FAIR and he did a fantastic job.He did not leave until he was sure it was fixed and I was satisfied with the work. I just have to say that I was not happy when Mike Bagly gave me the news of my slab leak. But after realizing it wasn’t his fault I agreed to let them fix it. It was an unexpected expensive and inconvenient but they made it the least painful as possible. Allen Foreman was a great help in finding the cause our water mail line issue. As it turned out, it was actually the sprinkler system that I misidentified. He told me what his plan was to diagnose the problem and would let me know what he found and then talk about what to do next. I spent 40k a few years ago and just got hung up by the owner’s wife for asking why the prices for screwing pipes together was $850. Then as I called back she proceeded to yell at me and told me that the owner was her husband so asking to speak with him was pointless and accused me of trying to get a discounted price. These people are completely unprofessional with abysmal customer service after I spent over 40k for their services. Unbelievable. “Hope” was unbelievably rude and accusatory, save your time and money and go with a professionally ran company.

Sergey was extremely friendly and helpful and explained what was happening every step of the way. We had a difficult issue that was hard to diagnose and he had to come out multiple times. We were never charged until they found the problem and fixed it and they only charged us for that visit even though they came to our house four times. This company cares about customer satisfaction and will work hard for your business.

Schrader has been excellent every time I’ve dealt with them. They not only fix the issues, but they educate as well. They work with you and try not to charge for more services than is needed. I try to use them for everything plumbing related.

After calling around and discussing this work with 5 different companies we went with Schrader plumbing because they were one of the cheapest, fully understood and could do all the work requested (some wouldn't do the gas fireplace), and they could get it done the earliest on the same day. We had already purchased all the parts needed for the work. I was going to do it myself but due to my disability I found that it was more work than I was comfortable with doing.The plumbers that arrived were Mike Simmon and another? ( I don't remember the other plumbers name, sorry). They arrived on time and were extremely professional and likeable. They made my wife and I feel very comfortable and happy with their knowledge and ability. They not only did the work very quickly but did it within the time estimated time and at the bottom of their original quote (original quote was prior to visiting and seeing the work over the phone).About 6 months later and have had ZERO issues or need to call them back on the work they did. I really cannot express how happy we were with them personally and the work completed. We will not be using any other plumbing company other than Schrader Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs!EDIT: Updated with the plumbers name and estimated time work was done.

My technician Sergey was an incredible plumber for our gas leaks! Not only was he upfront about possible cost, he was honest, reliable, and extremely hard working. Especially so in the heat of summer in DFW. I trusted his work and he performed beyond my expectations which is actually quite hard to do since I am very picky. I am very happy with my experience using Schrader Plumbing. I called about some issues with the plumbing under my kitchen sink and they were able to send someone the next day. Before my plumber arrived they text me letting me know he was on his way and even sent a picture of him which was a nice safety feature. James arrived and gave me an estimate that I felt was fair so he started working right away. He was very polite and fixed the problem. He finished in an 2 hours or so and cleaned up his mess. Called this company after a not so good feeling from a previous company. I was dealing with a flood from an unidentified source. The previous company was not forthcoming and I feel was taking advantage of me as a woman. So I called for a second opinion. Allen was great. He was able to not only find the source of the problem but walked me through understanding, diagnosing, and repairing. He broke plumbing down to an easily understandable level. He explained each step and checked in with me to verify that I felt confident and comfortable with the work being done.I have an older home so he was able to provide me with an immediate solution and a workable solution to prevent any future problems.Professional, polite, all around a great service. Eli Davis from Schrader plumbing was very friendly and helped us out when the house we were buying had a huge crack in the main sewer drain pipe. He was able to come out and inspect the problem very quickly and he even showed us the crack on his camera. He was super friendly and was able to create a quote in no time. Then once the seller accepted his quote, he was able to come out quickly and start the job. He was very thorough and showed us videos of the repair once it was finished. I highly recommend Eli and Schrader plumbing.

We had a very positive experience with Schrader Plumbing, and we were very pleased with Jeff Burks, the plumber assigned to the job. Jeff resolved a slab leak issue for us by redirecting the cold water supply to the water heater through the wall and roof space of the house. Jeff did a very professional job, and worked quickly, with the minimum of damage to walls and ceilings. He also communicated very well, and carefully explained options for us. The office staff at Schrader were also excellent communicators and made sure we knew exactly when Jeff was on his way. He was always on time. We’ve used Schrader Plumbing three times. Each time, they’ve done the work quickly and professionally and fixed the problem the first time.They’re very upfront about what they plan to do to fix the problem, what it will cost and what other steps they may need to take if the problem persists. Self inflicted issue. Replacing a toilet supply line and damaged the compression nut fitting. So a small leak that I thought would require more work. So I called Schrader. In the meantime, the small leak, as they tend to, got bigger and we had so much water on the floor that I turned the water off at the main.My wife and I assumed a long and costly repair job.Rafael and Russell arrived, assessed, did the repair, tested the repair and were gone in less than an hour. Very professional guys.I have decided that my domestic plumber work should be limited to flapper valves. I have already scheduled more work with Schrader’s.

Plumber showed up a little earlier than expected which is was good for our situation, after a few minutes they located the leak dug up the area to expose the pipe and removed the failed section of the pipe. After returning from their material supplier they repaired the pipe very quickly and filled in the hole and the job was done. I am very satisfied with these plumbers and will more than likely use them again for any plumbing issues that may come up in the future. The cost of the work did seem a little high for it only taking about 2 hours to fix but it was money well spent because of the high quality materials used in the repair. Schrader plumbing may not be the cheapest option but their work is good and should last a very long time compared to cheaper plumbers whose repairs end up failing within a year or two.

Im confused by the 5 star reviews… but could be explicable by their shady system.The crew came to provide an estimate for a leak at the meter. They say right away that the line will have to be replaced if it’s a certain material, only copper can be patched. Of course they go ahead and start digging to see the color of the pipe. Then announce a $3500 job estimate. And a $225 digging fee, for about 30 seconds of digging, has to be paid right away (against their advertised free estimate policy). Not even once was the water turned on to see the problem. I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to pay for the estimate, until my husband came home and told me.We had a different company come and turns out, the problem is in a connecting piece and it cost $350 to fix it.We called to complain about this, and the manager offered to refund half if we take down the bad review. Unbelievable! Stay away or they’ll take advantage of you!

One of the few plumbers who would come out outside of business hours. The plumber came out on short notice at night when I could not turn off the water to a leaking water heater. He took care of the problem for free on the condition that they do the work in the morning. The work was done quickly and correctly the next day. They set up the inspection appointment for me, too. Great service all around.

They were on time , assessed the problem, informed me of what they were going to do to solve the problem and then got to work. Within an hour our problem was no more. Great experience with their services! Both men came early to my house to fix a clogged toilet issue. An item accidentally fell into the toilet and right down the pipe. They were able to fix the issue in an hour. Prices are reasonable. Both men were very kind. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

I was not happy with experience. Scheduled for Thursday 1/30 between 2-6 and you all had been told the work was outside. He arrived at 5:15 and said it was going to be dark too soon and to reschedule. Scheduled for Friday 2/1 between 10-12. He showed up after 1. After work completed, a tile in bathroom was scratched and messy caulking job. Also I didn’t understand why plumber didn’t have plastic/towels to cover flooring. - I had to provide. I messaged the company on 2/3. Didn’t hear back so called on 2/5, spoke with someone and explained complaint. Was asked to resend original message and pictures — which I did. Was told someone would ASAP get back to me. Today is 2/12 and haven’t heard from anyone yet.

Ive never done a review, but would be remised if I didn’t take a second to recognize the fantastic service my family and I received! I called at 7:30 am. They showed up within an hour and completed a somewhat difficult job within an hour. All at an extremely fair rate. Can’t say enough good things about them and Brad, the person who did the work. Returning home from a 35 day trip, the minor leak noticed by our house sitter a few days before our return was needing immediate attention. Contacting Schrader Plumbing and communicating our problem; Chris Alvarado was dispatched within the hour. Arriving and checking the source of the leak as being from the water supply line to our home; preparation for replacement was begun. The line leak was not far from the water meter and just past the double-check valve. Water was then turned off at the meter and Chris identified the route of the line and its connection to the house. He made a call for a crew to dig out a trench exposing the entire line. That crew arrived within an hour of the call. The digging crew was very careful with irrigation lines, plantings and sod. The next morning Chris was back to remove the old line and install the new with a more accessible isolation valve as well. Chris had obtained a city permit before work began and has scheduled a city inspection before the trench can be filled-in. We were very impressed with the responsiveness from Schrader Plumbing and the professionalism and experience shown by Chris. A problem like ours could not be put off or delayed. Less than 24 hours from first contacting Schrader Plumbing, the leaking line was replaced and we had water to use in our house again. Thank you Chris. Thank you Schrader Plumbing.

Their customer service from answering the phone, scheduling a plumber, and then dispatching one are exemplary. They will always have my business and I'll be asking for Eli again.

3.5 stars. My plumber, Michael B. was very polite and efficient. Nothing bad to say about him at all.Low rating is purely related to cost. They were here for 10 minutes to replace a $40 part and tacked on a whopping $400 for “labor”. I thought this was really ridiculous. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of taking extended periods of time off of work to shop around for quotes. Maybe every company would have similar mark ups, I’m not sure. One thing I know is on the invoice/payment receipt there is not a breakdown and I assume it’s for this very reason. They don’t want you to see how little $$$ the part they just replaced actually was. Overall, they got me back up and running same day without much stress. Oh, and they have a 1 year parts and labor warranty so that’s nice. I suggest cost shopping if you work from home, can wait for the repair, or have a lot of free time!

I called Schrader to find and fix a gas leak. I waited around all afternoon with no approximate time of arrival. I requested the plumber call upon arrival. Instead I got a call from their office stating that the plumber was there, but no one was home. I had already told the lady that I live across the street and I would walk over to let the plumber in. The plumber was very argumentative and demeaning. He was going to school me on how things were going to be. I think he was shocked when I told him to leave and I would call someone else.Despite the extremely poor customer service, these guys are 2 1/2 times higher than other plumbing companies in the area. My estimate was nearly $2,000 up front plus an additional $295 for the first hour and $195 an hour thereafter. Do yourself a favor, call around first.Update 6/8/2023: I ended up using Strain Plumbing for the repairs. The total cost, including the City inspection was $625. Thanks John, for the reply and the continued argument. It amazes me how businesses who make it a point to prove they are right and argue with customers, stay in business. A little humility goes a long way.

We noticed an area of our kitchen floor that was hot and our water bill had gotten out of hand.We called Schrader Plumbing after seeing all the great reviews and they sent Jeff out to test our water lines.He found that there was indeed a leak on the hot water line, and gave us a fair estimate to repair it. It only took him 2 days to dig it repair it and have it filled back in

Had a issue after Atmos changed our gas meter when they tried to relight our hot water heater and needed a new heater Schrader plumbing stepped up and was able to get and install a new water heater within 4 hours. Excellent job. Austin did a great install and very knowledgeable and courteous. Job well done!

Kitchen sewer clogged. Gentleman used rotor rooter to clean debris. My house has cast iron pipes, He gave me me choice to use a tv camera to see status of pipe. I felt it was too expensive so I turned down that service. Overall, did what needed to be done at a fair price.

Called to request a quote to replace my leaking water heater at about 9am. By 10am, the technician was on site and provided me an estimate shortly thereafter. By 1pm, the new water heater was installed and ready for use. Every time I've worked with Schrader they've been responsive, punctual, and efficient and this time was no exception. Schrader plumbing deserves five stars! I had a tree root that cracked the water main to my house that required a complete replacement of the entire 60 ft line. After 3 previous quotes, not only was Schrader the lowest bid, they mentioned things that none of the other companies talked about such as city inspection fees (which was included in the upfront price). They also use a top notch excavation team that dug up and then restored the yard. They worked all day Saturday and even part of Sunday to finish the job. My experience with Schrader was everything I could have hoped for. They are friendly, professional, quick, hard working, competitively priced, and upfront with all costs.

They came out to check my pipes and rather than quoting me to replace my whole system like most companies do they pointed out that I only needed to replace my garbage disposal and suggested I could do it myself.

Our fridge went out. We purchased another one and when they came to deliver we could not get water turned off and the delivery personnel stated we needed a plumber. Our daughter recommended Schrader. They came out the same day, fixed problem quickly and efficiently. They were pleasant and professional. I had a clog sewage pipe, so plumber comes uses drain augur cleaner for 10 mins saying its the city problem, but if I paid another $295 for camera review we can see what the problem is. So why would I use camera if this is a city problem?CIty comes tells the city pipe is fine. Finds out the problem WITHOUT the camera saying the pipe is cracked so needs to be fixed.The plumber calls me back to try to fix complain by saying that I should have taken the $295 so we would have known what the problem is. He was calling to address the complaint but does so by tells me I am the problem. So instead of fixing the problem he wanted to prove himself that he is right.You can see the true color of a business by seeing how they solve problems, and with what i have been through today, this company does not meet the 5 start reputation in google review.

They were suppose to call before arriving but just showed up instead. When I ask why, the office told me it was not a problem to call?...he chuckled & said yeah...I don't know why they tell people that...they never do it...(ok--maybe they didn't give him my #)...no big deal......the guy they sent looked seedy- kind of like a typical rehabber..But ok...he might be really good.He seemed nice enough...not disrespectful or anything.Showed him what I needed done...which was to space the hot cold pipes out about an inch on each side because the assembly we had on before was not a standard fit. After about 5 seconds he started telling me he didn't like the new assembly because it wasn't a standard brand...cant get parts when they wear out, etc etc. I told him not to worry about that--that would be my problem---MAINLY, I needed the pipes moved out an inch on each side to a standard fit.....I could hook up the assembly and repair tile myself.Couldn't tell if he just didn't know what he was doing or he didn't want to do the work because it looked like it might be too hard.....basically he said - looked too complicated (because he had to take out tile)...said if there were any problems he would get in trouble...And then left.Huh??WTH?? I guess he thought he would be changing out a shower head?Very odd experience.IM SURE it was for the best.....It just messed me up because I waited a couple of day before they could come out....for what?Can't speak for anyone else but I'll never call on them again--I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone....

I had a gas leak in my home. I paid them $599 for Chris Alvarado to come out and another $600 for him and some other guy to tell me he could not find the leak and quote me an additional $4,000 stating that he would have to change the direction of the piping since he couldn't reach the area where the leak might be. I will say he arrived quickly and was very polite. But, I told him no thank you. I'm very glad a did.A friend recommended Cecil from Vossler Plumbing. He sent his crew out immediately and not only did they find the leak, they found two! They were able to show me video recordings of what they looked like. Best of all they only charged me $800 total. That's to fix the problem! I really appreciate the great work and honesty Vossler did for me. I have a severely disabled son. We don't have money to waste on companies with bad ethics and immoral practices like charging me to find the leak (and not do it) and then attempting to overcharge me $4,000 to fix it!

i had to get my elderly mothers water service replaced, rafael came out and was honest with us and gave a fair price. he had a digging crew get the system ready to replace then he and russel came out and replaced the line, permitted, inspected in as timely a manner as possible on a holiday week. very professional.

We had a slab leak. The crew was great and we were happy with the repairs. The only feedback I have is surrounding communication. It felt like I had to ask the important questions rather than them volunteering this information. They were happy to answer my questions when I asked them, but if they took a more proactive and preemptive approach, I feel it would fare better with their customers. Let them know what to expect before they ask.

2nd time we've used them and while it was a nightmare scenario the technician (James tuck) went way above and beyond. He was even kind enough to explain to me how the plumbing in our house was likely set up, and how to deal with issues from it's age(our house was built in '76) while he was scoping our pipes. He also gave advice on how to cleanup the leftovers from the nightmare he came to unclog.I've used another plumbing company from the area twice as well (begins with an E), and their technician seemed knowledgeable, but his professionalism wasn't even compatible to the 2 technicians we've had from Schrader; and I later came to find, after some research, his suggested fix was bad for our house and very overpriced. For the same problem, the guys from Schrader gave me two quotes: 1 for the standard fix (with a reasonable quote), and a 2nd for a creative solution to the problem that was a little more expensive but much safer for our older house.Schrader definitely does it right.

I am extremely happy with Schrader Plumbing! Matthew Berry and Mr. Mondo were polite, informative, and did a great job! My kitchen sink was backed up and the pipe underneath was dripping. Matthew fixed the leak in no time, and came back with the electric snake to clear out several years worth of sludge that my handheld 50ft drain auger couldn't get farther than 16 inches in. I was notified via text and email at every step - confirmation of booking, when they were en route, and a summary of services and receipt after they finished up. What I appreciated the most was that Matthew made sure to talk through the problem, procedure, and all my options with me, and recommended trying the snake before resorting to the much more expensive hydro jet. Should I ever need a plumber again, I will absolutely be calling Schrader Plumbing and requesting Matthew.

We had a hard freeze and my main water shut off valve broke and started leaking pretty significantly. Matt came over and fixed it in less than a hour for a fair price. I also had a additional pinhole leak in my water softener line and Matt dig up the connection, explained why I had a leak there (fault of the water softener company for not wrapping the connection area) and saved me money because I was empowered with the knowledge that they didn't install it correctly. If I am need of plumbing work again I will definitely use Schrader plumbing.

Mike with Schrader Plumbing responded very quickly on a Monday morning and replaced a faulty garbage disposal. Mike was very friendly, professional and timely in his replacement of our disposal. It was a reasonable price from our standpoint. We will definitely use Schrader for any future plumbing related problems.

Outrageous pricing. The job was completed, but was charged $850 for a toilet flange and wax ring replacement. Tech quoted the job at $650 because he said he needed to alter the flooring slightly which seemed extremely pricey (and took him approx 10 mins), but he was already here and we needed it done. I regret not questioning the additional $200 he slid in there for no apparent reason. Filed with homeowners insurance, who only reimbursed $350 saying that was average cost for those repairs. I will never ever use this company again.

Bubba was great! He was very understanding about my HOAs rules and time constraints on the facility water turn off. He arrived early and completely the job very quickly! He advised me to purchase new faucet handles, and even helped me pick them out online, to make sure I purchased the correct ones. It was a little pricy, but was worth the quality and speed. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful, I will definitely use Schrader Plumbing again.

James Tuck arrived 1.5 hours before scheduled window. His experience led him to the problem area. He configured his clean out auger machine in order to clear the obstruction between the sink and the main drain. He was well tooled to accomplish the task. He was very neat and protected all areas that he accessed. He provided top notch service and I would highly recommend Schrader Plumbing!

Service was great they showed up same day. 300$ to snake a couple of pipes seems expensive since you can rent the machine for 68$. Would use again just not for something simple like this.

Had flooding on the side of my house due to heavy rain and the slop of my yard. The water level got so high it seeped into my master bedroom causing damages. Schrader Plumbing came out quickly and in less than a week I had a drainage system on the outside of my home diverting the water away from my house. Allen took the time to do a conference call with the pool repair manager and state what he observed, and what he believes happened based on that which was not the same story that the pool company gave. The pool company was playing hardball. I felt like I had an angel with me. We've used Schrader before and were happy with the service, so they were the first we called to diagnose and fix what turned out to be a hot water pipe leak. Michael came out, was able to find the leak and get it repaired in a few hours. Additionally, he contacted a restoration company for us who came out without an hour of him making the connection to help with the water damage. Will definitely continue to use Schrader, but hoping we have less issues on the future.

How do you come to someone's house and disrespect that way? I definitely do not recommend this company unless you wanna be yelled out and belittle by this man.

I've used Schrader Plumbing exclusively over last few years. It seems customers have been happy with all their journeymen but most my experience has been with Jeff Burks. He's 'broadly' knowledgeable, fair/generous in pricing and sincerely dedicated to his customer. He's also professional, respectful my time & needs, communicative prompt and reliable in every way!I own a nearly 75 year old property (2nd family) so plumbing issues can be 'unique' at times. We've used MANY plumbers over the decades but when I found & 1st experienced Schrader they lived up to all the 5-star reviews! After 5 decades I just cannot imagine finding a better plumber currently! If I was able to have the same confidence & comfort in making that call' to every 'other sort contractor' I need to use, my life would be SO much easier. We had a water pipe freeze and burst during the winter storm that impacted Texas. Schrader Plumbing came right out to assess the damage. They located the ruptured pipe, which was high in our kitchen wall. Once we demo'd the cabinets and counter in order to open that section of wall and expose the pipe, they came right back out and immediately replaced the entire section of pipe. They conducted a test to ensure no other leaks were present. Thanks to their responsiveness, we were able to restore water service to our home. They also wore masks, for covid protocol, and boot coverings. They were professional, responsive and efficient. This was the third or fourth time we have used Schrader.

I had a pipe burst during the big Texas freeze and while others estimated it would be 2 weeks or more before they could fix it, Schrader said they would be there next morning to fix it. They were super prompt and professional, I can’t recommend them highly enough! They’re a life saver!

I got the hydro jet service done. I moved into this house last year, there was so much build up. I am not sure if it was ever done prior. Chris was super informative and nice about everything. Will definitely use this company again.

They texted to confirm the appt time and narrowed the window from 4 to 2 hours. They sent info about the plumber and his picture so I’d know I was opening the door for the proper person. Don was on time and did an excellent job unclogging our main drain. It had tree roots about 7 feet from the house. He explained what he was going to check and showed the image of the clean drain after clearing the line. Very happy with the work and quick appt during a gross sewer back up issue. Price was reasonable for the rescue service provided.

Michael arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was professional.He explained what he was doing to do.He wanted to run the camera first to identify the location of the blockage then use the rotor liter machine to clear out the drain line.I certainly appreciated Michael’s inspection and quote.Unfortunately it was quite high at $295 for the amount of time required for this job.Another plumber quoted me $175 but found a good company online running a special for $99 and they did a great job.

After a popping sound and a smell similar to rotten eggs, I called the gas company came out to check if there was a gas leak so they turned the gas line off to do a full check then confirmed there wasn’t a leak then turned the gas back on. The gas tech waited for me to light the gas water heater but I wasn’t able to not matter how many times I tried. My boyfriend also tried lighting it and still nothing so I called Schrader since I’ve used you all before for some help. The tech Chris got the pilot lit so fas and was thorough about checking the vents along with what that smell may be. He was thorough and professional.

We recently had our second slab leak and both times Shrader has come to repair. The plumbers are always professional, honest and upfront about repair pricing and level of effort. What I really appreciate is they were able to re-route instead of digging which saved us thousands.

Told Schrader we had a gas leak and they send one man out that could not find leak without another person helping him. Waste of a trip and we were charged for it. The owner of this property has 4 properties and will not use this company again because of way overcharging us for work done. I don't think charging twice for testing is right. I had Baker Brothers check for gas leak and they only charged once for leak. You charged $450 twice for testing, that is just wrong! Refund should go to home owner for overcharging, that is what can be done to make it right.

One morning during the shower we discovered that it and our toilet were backing up. We called Schrader Plumbing to make an appointment and have a technician come out and diagnose the problem. We were ecstatic that we were able to get same-day service. Once Sergio arrived he went to a thorough conversation with my husband then explained every step he was going to take in order to diagnose the problem. It only took him an hour or so to diagnose and fix the problem.

WOW, Mike was so extremely kind. He makes his customers the top priority. There was a valve that wasn’t included in my new water heater box and he went out of his way to find the valve we needed at multiple stores. I can’t recommend this genuine company enough.

We called Schrader Plumbing at 4:30 on Friday afternoon after finding some water damage in a room. They were able to get someone scheduled to come out the next day. They called Saturday morning and let us know they could be there early. Mike came out a little earlier than expected - which was wonderful! Told me that both of our hot water heaters were no good and needed to be replaced for $2600. It seemed odd that both hot water heaters went out at the same time. Received second opinion from another plumber and all that was needed was the pilot lights lit. Total cost $130. I saved $2470 by not using Schrader Plumbing!

I hired a local Handyman to unscrew a corroded water hose from my spigot because it was supposed to freeze that night and I needed to cover the spigot. The local Handyman broke the spigot and caused a big mess, but offered to fix the plumbing for free. After 4 hours of watch the Handyman try to fix the plumbing (attempt to weld pipes, turn on water, flood house, repeat) and one instance of the insulation catching fire, I reached out to Schrader Plumbing on Yelp. It was after hours, so I wasn’t expecting a response until the next day.John, the owner, personally responded to my message within minutes. He even called me to talk to the Handyman, tell him how to cap off the pipes for the night, and assisted with getting the Handyman to leave my house after he refused to leave. Two Schrader Plumbing employees were at my house the next morning and they managed to repair the damaged pipes, install a new spigot, and turn my water back on in less than two hours!Schrader Plumbing as a company has exceptional customer service and everyone that I spoke to and worked with did such an amazing job!Thank you!

The day I called, I could not schedule an appointment until the next day. However, they had an opening come up that same day and were at my house that afternoon. They did a great job replacing one of my outdoor faucets. The only downside is how expensive it ended up being. I wasn't prepared to spend almost $250. While I appreciate the quick turn around and expertise, I will likely look around for a more affordable option next time I need a plumber.

I asked them to come and fix a bathroom sink where the pipes under the sink had a slow leak. The person on the phone said they will assess what needs to be done and provide an estimate at no cost.When they got here they wouldn’t even put their clip board down and look at the sink/leak unless I agree to pay $195.This is my second bad experience with this company (I didn't post a comment on the first one). I will not use them again.I hope this post helps others select there plumbing company.UPDATE 08/21 - Tom, Service Manager, called and we discussed my experience. It couldn't have been a fun call for him to make, but he made it and I appreciated him listening. He seemed like a stand-up guy that cared about improving the customer experience.I ended up going to You Tube and completed all the work (shower and sink) myself that I was prepared to pay Schrader for.

Micheal did a great job and answered detailed question on concerns I had. Repairs were done quickly and I would use them again.

In summary, this transaction did not go well. Schrader plumbing was hired to unclog slow emptying outdoor drain. Tech came and used hydrojet to clear clog. At end of day, 2 incidental pipes/drains were “cleared” and original clog ended up being worse than before he came. Tech returned another day to look at unimproved situation and I was told In I was going to have to spend more money to diagnose problem, Which ultimately shouldn’t they have done this already? Owner never called to address issue with me as promised by office. I am out $295 with a drain that is performing worse than before Schaefer plumbing touched it.Also, I’m left with an uncovered pool drain that tech sawed through as drain cover was glued to pvc pipe as this was “the only way he could get access”. He cleaned up jagged broken plastic pieces at my request and now I’m left with open pipe in middle of my concrete pool deck.The owner/company has in essence “ghosted” me and has not returned phone call all or reached out to me as promised, This is clearly indicative that he does not care to address problems or back up his work.

Nate came out promptly to auger the kitchen sink pipe. After discovering the grease clog was too much for an auger he called and had a jetter machine sent to my house. They had to attempt 3 different access methods to get the jetter to the correct point in the pipe to work and had to call for a different size jetter machine to finally unclog it. Even with all that extra effort, they still billed me at the original estimate, and did not bill for the auger attempt! Nate was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable, keeping me informed throughout the process. I will use them for all my future plumbing needs!

Very pleased with Schrader Plumbing (particularly Jeff and Trevor) who came out when we were having problems with both our hot water heaters. I had a different plumbing service come out a week ago who found nothing wrong and said it was an electrical problem. So we had an electrician come out who really thought it was a plumbing issue. This time I called Schrader and they offered to send a plumber out that day. I elected for first thing the next morning. I appreciated the texts and emails confirming my scheduled job and who was coming. They also called the morning of letting me know they were on their way. I appreciated the 2hr window (instead of the usual 4hr window) and even better they were on time! Jeff and Trevor explained everything perfectly, and fingers crossed this has solved our on-going issues, but if not Jeff assured me the work is warranted for 30 days. I would definitely recommend calling Schrader if you are having plumbing issues.

I can not say enough about the amazing experience we had with Schrader Plumbing. When our water heater tank burst last weekend I called several big names to give us a quote about replacing or maybe upgrading to tankless. When I got horrible support / answers from several of them I found Schrader. I called and they had Allen at my house in less than an hour. He spent a long time going over multiple options for both a new tank and electric/gas tankless. He was incredibly transparent and patient with me, taking his time to answer all my questions. Took off work to meet tech last Monday. Gave me 12-4 arrival and when I called at 12:30 they said closer 4, which was fine. He called me while there to ensure he was quoting me on the correcting things. Then said to give him 2 days to get quote over to me… well it’s been a week and haven’t gotten a follow up call or email from office or the quote. Guess they don’t want new business!

I called Schrader plumbing for a leaking drain. They were prompt and very helpful. We've previously used them for major plumbing work during a remodel and were pleased then as well.

Sent an email to Schrader Plumbing asking for a quote on two water heaters at my house that needed to be replaced since they were 20+ years old and one was beginning to seep water at the top of the tank. Their plumber Eli Davis visited on January 24th to inspect the water heater installations and provide a quote. I had measured both water heater external dimensions and provided that information when I first contacted Schrader. Also discussed these dimensions and the available space with the folding staircase to access one of the water heaters installed in the attic. Eli assured me that it wouldn't be an issue removing the old water heater or installing the new water heater in the attic. On January 26th at approximately 8:00 am I was contacted by Schrader that Eli was on his way to my home to replace both water heaters. About 1 hour later I was contacted that Eli had to stop at the plumbing supply distributor to get the water heaters and parts needed to perform the water heater replacements. At approximately 10:00 am Eli and his assistant arrived, provided an explanation of how they were going to replace the heaters and set to work. Why am I unhappy with the work performed:1. I mentioned to Eli that the new water heater they had installed in the garage was not level, he assured me that after it was filled with water it would level. It didn't level and their solution was to install toilet shims to level the tank instead of investigating why the heater was not level. My thoughts - Eli had an answer for my question however after his answer wasn't correct he didn't investigate further.2. Eli asked if I had a pipe strap of something similar to assist lifting the new water heater into the attic, I offered some rope that I had which he told me would work. After they got the water heater installed in the attic I inspected the installation and found they had bent the lower part of the outer wall of the water heater when pulling it up into the attic. Eli told me he contacted the boss at Schrader and his offer was either $100 credit or they would replace the water if I would pay for labor and modify the staircase opening to allow more room to move the water heater into the attic. My thoughts - Eli and I had discussed the dimensions and accessibility when he visited to provide the quote and he assured me it wouldn't be an issue. Eli didn't bring along the proper tools to complete the job without damaging the water heater.My reason for using Schrader Plumbing for this job was my experience with them a few years ago when they provided excellent service. This service was less than excellent and I would caution anyone who is considering using their services that promises made may not be promises kept.

I received an email from Schrader Plumbing giving recommendations to prepare for the upcoming freeze. It also mentioned that they could come and inspect the house and perform any insulation of pipes if needed. I called to schedule and was told the inspection and estimate was free and they were able to schedule for the next day. Mike Simon showed up on time and performed the inspection and gave me some additional recommendations that were not included in the email. It took about 15 minutes. Mike was very professional and friendly.

I had a gas line leak. Jeff came out and thoroughly explained what would be done to find and fix the leak and the pricing that would go along with it. He was upfront and honest. He found the leak, fixed it and made sure that when atmos arrived to turn service back on that there were no issues. Great, friendly and fast service! Would definitely recommend!

The owners wife is rude and argumentative. We had a email confirmation for service and the company did not show. We, like many others, have a busted pipe due to Texas inclement weather. We called to get an ETA and the owner's wife refused to send anyone out and would not work with us even though we had a document of communication for our scheduled service. One of their plumbers also did not put our shower back together correctly after their last visit and she refused to take that into consideration for the urgency of our requested service call.

They were able to fit us in a day early. They were on time & quick. Great service.

My husband and I have an older home that need TLC, last week, our kitchen faucet decided that it wasn’t going to turn off, (it’s been a home bandaid repair for a whole). We reached out to Schrader plumbing first thing Thursday morning and they had Christopher out for a quote within 3 hours. He was very helpful and explained everything that needed to be repaired and why and the approximate costs as we went, when he left he had emailed our estimates which were on par with what was quoted while doing the walkthrough. We called Schrader at 12:30 on a Saturday about water not flowing from one of our faucets. They came out by 2:00 and quickly determined that the problem was only a clogged aerator on the faucet, which they quickly fixed. They did not charge us because is was such a simple repair. They were very courteous and professional. We will use them the next time we have a any plumbing problem.

They scheduled me for 12-2 the next day but then called that morning asking if the tech could come earlier. Having issues with very loud noise in the plumbing, unsure of cause. Arrived on time, and quickly identified the problem as the A/C line drain. Since I had just had work on the A/C, suggested I call them. No charge fir the trip, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated.

I called Schrader for a guest bathroom toilet that was backing up. They initially told me it would be the next day from 2-4 pm before my tech would arrive, which was no problem as this was not a major emergency. However, they called me back 10 minutes later telling me a technician had finished early and would come by tonight if that was acceptable. Within 30 minutes from that call, Austin showed up. I’ve never had the privilege of working with a more professional individual. He not only cleared my initial problem, but had time to repair a nagging issue I had been trying to fix myself for a week or so in my washing machine drain backing up. Our experience with Schrader and Sergey both times he’s been to our house was extremely positive. They provided great services all for a great price, along with some free tips. I called to make an appointment several days ago, and I appreciated the email and text reminders after scheduling. I was told I'd have a plumber come today between 2 and 6pm. I was called at 1pm and told my plumber was on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I was still at work so I told the scheduler on the phone that I wasn't expecting my plumber until 2pm for my 2-6pm window. She said I was scheduled for 12-4pm (although I rechecked my confirmation email which CLEARLY says 2-6pm window). Anyway, she told me the plumber could meet me there at 2pm. I didn't really love this conversation with her, as I felt like she suggested I was in the wrong about the arrival window that had been scheduled for me.Upon James' arrival, I immediately felt better about the situation and tried to forget my frustration about the conversation I had with the scheduling lady a bit ago. James was friendly and very quick in fixing the clogged drain (from hair and grout blockage). I appreciated his efficiency (and he did a great job!) because I had to head back to work as soon as possible. I would recommend James to everyone. He was great!!I quickly paid with credit card (no additional credit card fee), and I appreciated the invoice I received by email for my records. I will definitely use James again for my plumbing needs.

Restored all toilets to working condition. But I asked them to replace all internal parts to brand new hardware and they did not do that. Very costly for mere repairs. I feel like I paid enough to replace all hardware but did not receive that.

It took some specialized equipment to get the old one out and Michael had what he needed and got the job done quickly. He was very personable and made sure to clean up the area when he was finished.The follow up from Schrader was also good, with reminders and being here to work when they said they would.Schrader is my new first choice in plumbing.

They were very responsive and sent some plumbers out right away to my property to give me an estimate, but their prices were way too high, esp. for what should have been routine residential work.[Update: I found another local plumber who did not cut corners and did quality work for a third of what you quoted me. $500+ to replace a $50 kitchen faucet? Maybe that's what you need to charge to compete, but it's more than I can afford, and it feels like a dishonest markup frankly].

Over two weeks we searched and called various plumbers for parts and advice on our issue; quite exhausting with all the different information out there. Found Schrader while doing a Yelp search. Damien was able to come out the next day to assess our situation. He was super nice, knowledgeable, and professional. They were able to get what we needed and resolved it all on the same day. Other plumbers were either not responsive or super expensive. I understand all plumbers are super busy at this time but the attention and care is what made all the difference in the world. Also the receptionist Sharr (I think that is her name) was awesome and professional as well. Love the workflow with the text messages and profile pic/description of the assigned plumber. Nice touch! OMG!! When I say amazing, fast, professional, knowledgeable…. I’m saying Schrader plumbing!! Joe and Allen were great! They missed my call over the weekend and called me back today, Monday morning at 7:00 AM. They scheduled me for TODAY!! They came on time and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They showed me what the problem was (God bless grandchildren) and other things that I may need to consider later on down line. I am very pleased with their performance and customer service! Did I mention they didn’t rip my pockets a new one.

Can't say enough about Mike Simon and Schrader plumbing. I had a water main break on 12/23. I originally had Billy Go plumbing come to the house that day....of which the gentleman said he would have to come back in 5 days after the holidays to repair. Mike with Schrader came out the morning of Christmas Eve, worked 9 hours, had to get a 3rd party dig team, and had me running water by 5:00. Super professional....will for sure use again.

Hired them to repair a gas leak and do a slab leak test. I knew where, and showed the tech, where the gas leak was. Paid $150 for him to soap test a connection and say “yeah that’s it” and then another $150 to put a cap on it. Not a good value to pay three hours of labor for the tech to be here a total of one hour.

Back in February 2022, we had a mysterious sound coming out of our utility room, and a spot on the floor was extremely hot to the touch. I called Schrader, and they were out the next morning. They quickly determined we had a slab leak under our home. The plumber explained the entire process and provided us with a very competitive quote. They returned early the next day and cut a hole in our driveway and tunneled under our home, and made the repair. The plumber I worked with was very nice and always called prior to arrival. Considering the stress of a slab leak, it was very comforting to work with Schrader plumbing. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.
