Ron Hale Slab Leak Repair

I can't say enough good things about this locally owned company. We recently found out we had a slab leak and they came out 2 days later to find and repair the leak. They do an awesome job and they don't leave you with an outrageous bill. I will forever be grateful for them and recommend to everyone.

Thanks to Brandon & Drew they wasted no time getting our repair done. They even made a extra trip on Monday to check hot water issue. I highly recommend them!

I'm in PA but my house in Arlington got a hot water slab leak. Lucky my 2 adult children live there so they found it before it got out of hand.
This is the 4th slab leak, Benjamin Franklin did the last 3-jack hammer up the floor all 3 times, cut 4 holes in sheetrock to locate pipes in the walls with no luck. All said and done each repair cost with them cost more than $4k each time!
Anyway, call 4 companies-quotes came in from $5,500-$3,400. One company told me they could do the work in 17 days...what?
Long story short these guys came in and did the repair with a reroute-THANK GOD! and they did it in 4 hrs and cost me $2,800. Very professional- I would recommend them for sure!

They came to our home, said they found the slab leak, and charged us over $3000 for the fix. They did NOT fix the leak. Meter still spinning 3 days later. We had to pay another company ANOTHER $3000 to actually fix the leak. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DID NOT RETURN OUR PHONE CALLS AND KEPT THE MONEY. SCAMMERS!!!!

These people were excellent! Very professional and kind. They were upfront and honest about the work and cost. They answered all my questions with sincerity and respect. They quoted me a cost (which I won't disclose) and was willing to work with me on payments as long as I was able to pay most of it up front. In the end, they showed up on time and was able to get my slab leak done under the estimated time they said it would take (almost less than 3 hours). He even did it for $400 less than the original quote. Now I know not all companies are able to do this and I'm not saying everyone else will get the same treatment, but I will say they were a blessing to this family with a tight budget. They have earned my future business and I have already recommended them to my insurance agent to use in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

These guys were on time, honest, and professional. They allowed me to watch and explained everything without me having to ask. I would use them again. They could have charged me a lot more, but they did not as they explained the problem was not as bad as I thought.

Where do I start -- Well, when he left our house, our water meter was still spinning, indicating a leak. He said they were 'bubbles in the line', and they would go away soon. They didn't. The next week we had a well-established company (Accu-Find) come take a look at the work. Here are some issues they noted:

1) Ron used a soft solder under the slab -- should have been silver solder. 2) Cement patch job sunk due to Ron not laying a sand base.
3) Ron did not pull a city permit (City Inspector asked for his information). 4) Ron had just patched the leak (which was still leaking). The leak should never have been patched -- Accu-Find rerouted and fixed it properly.

So, I would never recommend Ron to anyone. Very surprised his feedback is as high as it is based on our experience. He took our $3,000 and refused to even negotiate. Here's to hoping this review saves someone else the same headache.

They quoted me a closed ended price on a self diagnosed slab leak. When Drew arrived and evaluated it he shared with me what he thought was going on and said it could possibly be less. He found a leak in a wall that had been hit with a trim nail. They told me up front cost and finished quickly. I like that they called ahead , my experience and expectations where meet . We just had Ron Hale Slab Leak Repair out to reroute our slab leak and I can't praise them enough. They arrived on time and explained everything, finished in 2 hours at the price quoted, gave us a 2 year warranty on the entire line, and the damage left for us to repair is just a few inches of dry wall (barely any dust to mention). Professional, prompt, and reliable. They are our new go to plumber!

Ron did a great job of repairing our slab leak. He repiped the hot water via the attic instead of jack hammering the floor. Additionally, he installed a new water heater. I appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism. He did not attempt to upsell us or over charge for the work . His turnaround time was same day < 24 hours. Awesome job!

These guys are amazing! I'm so glad we didnt go with anyone else. They made this super stressful incident seem like just a minor inconvenience. Even with multiple complications and 3 rerouted water pipes, they stuck it out and finished in 1 day. They were super friendly and professional the entire time, I even felt comfortable enough to leave them at my house while I ran some errands. This company has a warm, family & friendly kinda feel that you don’t see too often these days. They know EXACTLY what they are doing and most importantly they display EMPATHY and all of their attention is focused on the issue they came to fix. I will ALWAYS call them first for anything. They advertise mostly as a slab leak repair Co BUT no job is too small or large for them. I am just so blessed and I give all the glory of finding them to The Lord…. Mr. Ron came out and quickly diagnosed what we thought was a slab leak as our leaking dishwasher. He was polite and honest, and refused payment. This is an honest company and we can honestly recommend Ron Hale Leak Repair.
