Rylan came out and walked around the house with me and listened to all the things we wanted, inside, outside, and in the attic. He made recommendations as to the best way to do it, then provided a competitive proposal. When we selected Lakewood Electrical, he arrived when promised and completed all the items. Even though there were a couple of unexpected challenges, he completed the work at the agreed upon price in a timely manner. And cleaned up nicely. We definitely recommend Lakewood Electrical and will use them again for future needs.

We hired Lakewood Electrical to fix an outlet that had shorted. Rylan took care of it quickly and cheaply. Our positive experience with him on that small job led us to reach out to him when we were ready to tackle the much larger job of replacing our 1960s breaker box and installing a plug for our electric car charger. He did a great job and even mounted our charger even though we’d only asked him to install the plug.

Rylan did quite a bit of work for us when we bought an older home last year and needed the wiring updated and the box moved outside. He was affordable, professional, on-time, and had a lot of helpful suggestions. He also has a good network of other contractor friends that have also been great for other needs we've had. As long as Rylan keeps being an electrician, I will call him for anything I need.

As a general contractor, I have used Lakewood Electrical on numerous projects both big and small most of which are older properties. Rylan always comes in on time and on budget and can do creative installs when required by the situation. He is professional, knowledgeable and resourceful. At a time when contractors often seem more intent on getting the job than completing the job, and on making money not repeat customers, it is a joy to recommend Lakewood Electrical and Rylan, the owner. After the recent wind storm, Rylan was willing and able to reconnect our service drop and reset the meter both quickly and reasonably. But beyond that, he was just a nice guy, friendly and willing to be flexible in a situation where lots of us needed help quickly. Rylan was honest, willing to let me help out a little bit, and someone I would recommend to anyone looking for a very well-qualified, trustworthy electrician.

I have used Lakewood Electrical for years. Rylan Gray is very knowledgeable. He has always figured out the best and safest way to get things working in both of my older homes. I updated the lighting when I moved into the most recent home and it has made it much more energy and cost efficient. We swapped out light fixtures, added outlets, as well as updated my electrical box. Lakewood Electrical is professional and reasonable.

Nice guy, very knowledgeable in what he is doing. We had our breaker box replaced, Rylan came out assessed what we had and we talked about what we both wanted and needed for the future. Rylan put in a good box, well done and cable managed and ran all my drops. He was also priced very competitively.

Rylan is the best electrician I have worked with. I have an older home in the Lower Greenville area that has character, and has presented me with several electrical problems. After several service calls from other electricians that were unable to solve my issues, but billed me anyway, I connected with Rylan. Rylan resolved my problems on the first visit. His prices are fair, he's prompt and courteous. Rylan is now the only electrician I will call when I need work done.

Power quit working in part of the house. He came out once and fixed it pretty quickly. A couple months later had the same issue only more of the house wasn’t working this time. He came out for a few minutes, said he needed a respirator (though he didn’t need one the first time?) and said he would come back. Then he went completely unresponsive. I made several attempts to get ahold of him. He finally texted to have my landlord call him. She tried serval time and she also had the same experience of not being able to get ahold of him. The power hasn’t been working in the bedrooms and bathrooms for four months now. Finally now she is giving up on Lakewood electric and is getting a different electrician. What a joke. Took me for a ride and wasted our time. Use a different business.
