JSR installed outdoor lighting for the front of our house. After three years, we had some issues. Colin quickly assessed and reviewed our options. They stand by their work and took care of us. I will happily use them going forward. 5 STARS!

Colin was terrific! He explained each step of the repair as he went. I was very satisfied with the service that was provided.

JSR is our go to for electrical repairs or installations. Colin is so personable, professional, and always fixes the weird quirks of our 1970s home. We love JSR and are forever customers. Whether upgrading outlets to code, installing lights, fans, vent hoods, or repairing faulty wiring, they are A+.

My technician Colin was amazing. Very thorough and professional When another contractor asked him to tell them if they were responsible for our electrical issues he refused and came straight to me to outline the damage, who was at fault and to let me know how the other contractor tried to circumvent the process between JSR and me. I've said for many years that if you find an honest mechanic, dentist, electrician and plumber you keep them! Colin won JSR all my future electrical needs. Thank you Colin!!

This company is amazing! When my home was struck by lightning, resulting with power outages in half of my home, the firemen turned off my electricity completely & I was instructed to contact an electrician. It was late on a Sunday so I didn't expect to reach anyone until the next day but much to my surprise their very polite & understanding office manager, Alecia, was able to calm my nerves & schedule one of their knowledgeable electricians, Tim, to meet at my home within the hour to see what the problem was & see if it was possible to temporarily turn on power to my home so that my family would not be displaced that evening. Tim arrived promptly & as he noted the possible issues & repairs, would explain what problems he was seeing, how serious they were, the safety protocols & what repairs were needed so I could understand more as a homeowner & what to be aware of in the future. Unfortunately the damage was too much for us to remain in the home & the sunset made viewing difficult. Tim understood our push to speed up the repairs so that we could return to the comforts of our home ASAP since it is never easy being displaced from your home but also i have a baby with all the typical needs & extra gear. Tim returned early the next morning to get started & Alecia updated me on the status several times as work progressed. Right from day 1 I was amazed by the progress made on the repairs & within a week the work was expected to be complete & it was actually completed even sooner than that. Their company acted quickly & efficiently to get me back inside my home safely. I admit the cost was slightly higher than some others but they are worth every penny for their detailed, honest,safety precautions & precise workmanship.They are friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable & honest with safety as their 1 concern. Loved working with their team because I could relax knowing I was in good hands & could trust them to make the necessary repairs to make my home a safe environment for my family to live in again after the anxiety of what may have happened & stressful experience at nature's mercy. JSR Electrical Services is the best electrical company around!!! I highly recommend them!

I used JSR to fully rewire my kitchen during a remodel. I'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing electrical work done.The guys came out, analyzed the job very thoroughly, asked good questions, and discussed options that were available to me. Their quote was reasonable, and the work was done well. They even found some major issues with previous electrical work that was done, and got that work redone to a safe standard. The pricing was very reasonable.There were a couple hiccups during the process (like most complex jobs), but the guys were professional, and upfront about everything throughout the process, and made sure the finished product met my needs and expectations, and got everything done on time. They were very nice about everything, considering how much of a mess the existing setup was that they were replacing.

Had 2 different pieces of odd behavior start happening suddenly and all at once. The breaker for the microwave (nothing else on the circuit) kept auto-tripping 1.5 sec after being reset, and a GFCI circuit (no reset panel; just breaker) would trip overnight while under no load - 3 times in 5 days. Turns out both were due to a known-faulty model of breaker, and the crew (I had 2x Journeyman electricians come out; one was new to JSR and so was shadowing primarily for the quoting process) said this was such a common issue that their (or the standard industry?) method was to replace the breakers first and then troubleshoot if the issue wasn't resolved... taking on the cost risk of the breaker part/replacement themselves. Well, seems they were right on both of these! Breaker was first-model Eaton 20 SWD, btw.COST! Gotta cover that. No service charge, no dispatch charge. Crew troubleshoots and quotes for no charge. They then email you a quote, which you must accept by manually clicking a button in it, and only then will they start work. You know exactly what you're signing up for, both in terms of work and cost. To replace two breakers with them providing the parts cost me $372. (Cost for this exact job was $186/ea if they provide the parts and $126/ea if I provide the parts and they install them, however this specific breaker cost $102/ea at Summit Electric Supply so I definitely let them use their own parts!)One last thing I want to add is where they did go above and beyond. While looking into the temperamental GFCI circuit, they found 2x outlet boxes that were at a risk of accidental grounding (tight metal box closely around the two-socket outlet thing) so they wrapped both of the outlet things (yeah I'm big on technical terms, get over it) with electrical tape to potentially save me headache and cost in the future (let's say if a screw fell inside and shorted the whole thing out, tripping the breaker).

Install looks terrible and was not done inside the wall. I now have terrible lookingconduit exposed in my garage because he ran all the wires prior to checking if it would actually work. Also was quoted $200 less on the phone at time of appt booking than price at checkout. Not happy. Only gave 3 stars bc the charger works.

I’ve never had a bad experience using JSR. They’ve been to my house several times, and the technicians are very professional and polite. I love that they use shoe mitts too. It’s rare a company does that nowadays. Highly recommend using this local business.

We had an outlet/receptacle go bad. I replaced it and the GFCI in the garage, but it didn’t seem to fix the problem. Mat came to troubleshoot the issue, and of course, everything worked when he got here. Mat was very professional and took the time to check all the outlets in line. Plus cleaned up the wiring on the GFCI outlet.I highly recommend JSR, as they lived up to their good reviews.

I was originally scheduled for service in a few days but because they had an opening, they called me to ask if I was available for an earlier time. Before starting work, my serviceman let me know the cost which I ok'd, and he got to work with changing the outlet receptacle. Quick job, good price I recommend them especially with the quick turn around after I had filled out their request form for service. Will use them again in the future.

My realtor suggested JSR when I bought my house and she was absolutely right in doing so. Trustworthy, reliable service with great folks all around. 5 years later and my review stands

JSR was on time to the appt., after looking into the one problem, he pointed out it was a simple fix and reduced the original quote by $100. We also had them install a whole house surge protector and ground our gas line. The price was very reasonable and fair. We needed them again to fix a few outlets that quit working and just like the first time, they were reasonably priced and worked efficiently.

Colin arrived on time and spent most of the day in the heat outside and in attic adding new redundant ground and replacing conduit that was shattered. JSR worked to get permits in place and coordinate with electric company. Very pleased with the work and the price. This was second time I've used them and would recommend them again in heartbeat!

Colin did an exceptional job and provided us with a solution that was better than others provided in mounting our TV. Very knowledgeable and professional.

JSR has helped me twice now with lights that weren't working, and they are my favorite contractors in any category--Colin is super patient and amazingly thorough in exploring the source of problems, and is not in a hurry to move on to the next project. And he recommends improvements that could help, but is not pushy in the least. And their prices are much less than I would have expected. I give them the highest rating possible.

Josh did an excellent job with the panel upgrade/replacement. It looks incredibly professional and everyone at JSR was absolutely great to work with. I talked with a few different electricians before settling on JSR, and it felt like most of them were not being 100% transparent with me. But that was not the case at all with JSR, they were incredible with their communication very step of the way and it felt like they truly had my best interests in mind.

Colin is great. This is the second time I used JSR electrical services. They are friendly and the work was great. They checked with me when they ran into a small issue. They were able to come early as well completing the job in just a few hours. Will be using them for all my electrical needs in the future.

We used JSR electrical services to make repairs on our new house, place an outlet over our fireplace and replace most of the major light fixtures and ceiling fans in our house and they did an amazing job. They were prompt, worked hard and got our entire job done in less than two days. The team was very nice and professional, and I appreciated their COVID precautions and that they all wore masks. We will definitely use them again!

JSR is amazing! I had them hang a TV on a stone fireplace and add an electrical outlet for the TV as well. They were able to route the new outlet and hang the TV in an efficient amor and it looks great. Josh Hobdy was phenomenal. He accurately explained everything, quoted fairly and did an amazing job. If you’re looking for any electrical work this is an honest, fair and amazing company. I highly recommend and will be coming back for any and all future electrical needs!

Jeremy was amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly, informative. He took before pictures so I could understand what he was talking about. He was very thorough, cleaned up everything when he was done and made it an enjoyable experience. JSR came highly recommended by a neighbor and I see why! The original repair date was scheduled for several weeks, but was placed on a call list if a cancellation occurred. Josh, primarily, and for a shorter time Zach and one other man worked well on this project that ended up taking all day but totally worth it.very pleased with the work, information given, timely bid and scheduling of work. Reasonably priced and did not try to over sell the work that needed to be done. Pleasant and knowledgeable electricians.They also labeled my breaker box which was interesting to witness, what a thorough job!I have a temporary label but the said they'd be back soon with the laminated label. very pleased. thank you JSR ELECTRICAL SERVICES. Amazingly responsive company. Scheduling is easy with clear quotes. Work quality is very high. Great value for money paid. Had a complex led panel installation with a lot of unknowns. Josh arrived on time, told me the unknowns and delligently worked for morning to dusk to complete the installation. He cleaned up after himself. Updated the invoice with exactly he had done. Stuck to the orginal estimate.The custom led light fixture looks great. If I could give JSR and Josh more than 5 stars I would.thank you!

Overall very impressed with the service. Colin went above and beyond what I expected. Not only did he complete all of the repairs, he explained things along the way and I was reassured that the jobs were being performed without cutting corners. Also did a great job cleaning up. Free estimate and they stuck to it. Would highly recommend.

Excellent, professional, and timely service. They removed all old wiring from my father's 1896 farmhouse kitchen, installed new 200-amp service and meter, and ran 10 new circuits to accommodate all of the needs for the new kitchen, as well as ensuring all existing wiring to other parts of the house was functional. They arrived when they said they would and completed the first phase of the project in the timeframe provided in the estimate. They will be coming back to finish out when other parts of the project are complete, and I don't doubt that their work will be just as good. The wiring was all installed in a neat and orderly manner, blueprints and client input were followed exactly, and they left the job site clean when they were finished. As a general contractor, I have every expectation of using them for all of my electrical work on future projects.

I’d definitely recommend this business to anyone I know. We worked with Colin and we are very impressed by his professionalism, expertise and dedication towards work. We had multiple things done for our new home and he provided a quality service with things done the right way and suggesting the best possible solution. Kudos to him!!!

We are doing a large kitchen remodel and after demo we found lots of things we weren’t expecting. JSR worked in my timeframe to make sure my project didn’t get behind and Collin is great to work with. Very polite, cleans up any mess and wears booties in the house. They even started the project 3 days early when my demo got moved up. Highly recommend!

Crew (Josh and Colin) did a great job. We had some old light fixtures taken down and new ones installed as well as some repairs on our panel and some plugs. They asked clarifying questions throughout the process to make sure they got it right and were very polite. Would definitely use JSR again

Have used JSR multiple times. Will also use in the future if needed. Tech's are friendly and professional. Work is usually done in a timely manner as well. One time I had to use warranty on repair, I was given priority and correction was taken care of quickly and again professionally.

I hired JSR for a fairly big project: replaced 5 ceiling fans, install 2 huge crystals chandeliers, breakfast room lightings, closet lightings, new outlets, switches, light bulbs replacements on a 20 ft ceiling, etc...and these guys were troopers. They spent a total of 4 full days at our house and making sure we were happy with everything they put in place. Colin, Josh and Jeremy were the main guys for this project and I couldn’t have been happier. They were always on time, professional, and never a complaint. Colin even came on his day off on a weekend to fix our outlets as well. Cannot forget to mention Alecia and Monica as well. They were always helpful and super responsive over the phone. Thanks JSR! You have me as a customer for life, as you can tell from the recurring service calls and new projects :)

This company sets the standard for polite and courteous service. Not only did the install happen in less time than scheduled but these great technicians explained their process, and cleaned up after themselves. I also loved their electronic estimate and approval process. Very convenient and clear. Also worth noting is the incredible office manager, Alecia, who will make you feel important and valued.I would highly recommend these professionals for high quality work at reasonable rates.

We recently purchased a home and needed a considerable amount of electrical work such as TV mounting over the fireplace with a new outlet and HDMI cables hidden, ceiling fans installed, chandeliers taken down and replaced with new light fixtures, upgrades to the outlets and switches and changing out the recessed lighting for new LED lights and more. We got a fair price and professional, quality service. Our main electrician was Josh H. He and his crew did a phenomenal job. Our job took 2 days to complete simply because it was a lot but they took the time to answer all of my questions about what they were doing and they left my house in better shape than when they came in. The swept, vacuumed and removed any trash that had been in their workspace. This will be my go to company going forward and highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Josh was amazing. I had 10 outlets go out and I spoke to the lady on the phone who was very kind. She told me that they will start with $130 to check everything and fix it on that same price depending on what was damaged. The guy checked everything out and told us it was nothing big and he fix it with that same price. I had called the other company and they told me $1,000. But this company is amazing and they won’t scam you like the other ones

I contacted JSR for a bid to change some lights in our living room and to inspect a light in our kitchen. Colin was on time, polite, and worked incredibly hard to get our wiring up to code. He found several wiring jobs that hadn’t been completed properly and rewired them all. He left our home in the exact condition he found it in and was very knowledgeable. He explained every repair needed and got our permission before proceeding. We will definitely use him again as we know he likely saved us from serious issues in the future.

I found JSR to be honest, with reasonable charges for their services. I hope anyone will use their free quote, vs. other companies charging $89 and giving insane prices for electrical work. I guess they have a lot of overhead to pay! Anyway, I will now always trust and go to JSR for my electrical needs. They truly exceeded all expectations I had!

During a remodel we added recessed kitchen lighting requiring additional outlets & hardwiring. We added bathroom exhaust fan & light. We upgraded all switches. We had Molly come back to install new light fixtures & extra recessed lights. Also had her repair a faulty outdoor outlet. Very impressed with JSR & Molly. We will definitely use them for all future needs. 5 Star service & value for everything.

This is the second time I have used them, and if needed will call them again and I definitely recommend them.

I needed to upgrade the electrical in my shop to accommodate new 220V tools, add more 120V outlets, and upgrade an existing circuit. They gave me a very reasonable estimate, and when I scheduled the service appointment, they were right on time. They caught some corners the previous contractors had cut and were able to repair that and add a subpanel as well as complete the original job in the same day and for a reasonable price. I'll be calling them for all my electrical needs in the future, and I'd recommend y'all do the same.

These folks are professional. Each member of the crew worked in team like fashion to accomplish the task efficiently. I'm very pleased with the results of their finished work. They also worked well with another group of contractors on site. Anticipating there electrical requirements at hand. I recommend JSR Electrical for all you electrical service needs.

Tim and the guys did a great job for us. Very thorough and really took the time to explain all aspects of the work. There were quite a few items that were not to code and frankly very unsafe. Tim found and fixed them all as well as installed a new panel. Would have them back for sure.

I'm pretty sure my mother would've adopted the nice young man who came to fix our outlets if given the chance. He was punctual, friendly, professional, and never once did we feel like we couldn't trust what he said. What we thought was a major problem ended up being very minor, and we appreciated not being taken advantage of. Had someone come out two years ago from a different company who charged $100 more and did half the work. We are now customers for life.

Great Service! Called yesterday with an issue and the technicians were at my office a little after 8 am the next morning! Zachary the technician was very patient, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. I have not used their business service so this review is not for that, but I was nearly ran off the road this morning by one of their vans on 114 in trophy club. Driver was driving wrecklessly cutting across multiple lanes of traffic, and almost caused two wrecks. Ownership, whichever tech was on 114 at 8am on 12/1/21 definitely should not be driving their own service van.

Tim was very personable and professional. He took the time to diagnose the issues in the electrical system without being condescending or just wanting to throw money at it, like I’ve experienced with other companies. Finally found a great company and will be using them for every electrical need from now on!

The service man was great came out next day to give quote. Did major work in one day. However my complaint is with the dept. Who schedules work... My power was knocked down from a falling tree yanked my power wires off the house 29th August quote 30th now sept 23rd got serviced. Almost a month with no power to my house. All my live fish are now dead. 800 bill for boarding dog. Grandfather clock in 90+ humid heat with antuiqe funiture. Did not know i served and fought for this country only for a emergency power situation to be drawn out so long. Very mad at the scheduler could not fathom the words or id be charged with verbal assault. But the service man Jermey is A+ for his work and thank him for the speedy repair he did.

JSR has been my electricians for years. Replaced the electric panel, replaced lights and fixtures, installed fans, and other jobs. They do excellent work and I refer them any tine someone asks.
