Xavier and Adrian were at my house pretty much all day, working so hard on several projects: replacing two chandeliers with light/fan fixtures, wiring for and installing two new electrical outlets on our patio, repairing a shorted out light switch and replacing another outlet that was faulty. They also did a very thorough safety inspection and explained everything that they found there. They were very professional, did a great job, and I was impressed by the communication from the company as a whole!

Totally recommend 5th Generation. Xavier and David provided quality service and the best customer service. Started with calling to see if ok to arrive early. How often does that happen. They kept me updated throughout the replacement of 3 ceiling fans and home safety inspection being respectful that I was also working at the same time. Even waited 10 minutes for me to wrap up a business call with no interruptions. GREAT JOB!

I just wanted you to know you have the most awesome is employees. Matt and Xavier were so personal they had excellent customer service they explained every little detail. They were very patient and they took their time love the service and the visit the information that I was given. I will use Fifth generation and will refer them. They went above and beyond customer service need more workers like that. Thanks.

We have been using 5th Generation now for over a year and couldn’t be happier with their work and guidance. Eddie sent Jonathan the first few jobs. This recent time we had Matt and Xavier. I couldn’t be more pleased with all of the staff and the depth of the companies electricians. Extremely communicative with prompt and excellent work. Looking forward to trusting them with any and all work in the future.

Matt was great! They arrived on time, evaluated the repairs, and took care of them quickly. He was missing one of the parts needed and they had another truck deliver them while the repairs were underway. Overall it was a great experience!

Very good. They did exactly as they told me on the initial appt and cleaned up after themselves. They also did a full review of the electrical system in my house and made recommendations with explanations to update my system.

Automated texts were so nice! Helps you know who’s coming, when, receipts for service.Nice techs!Only wish the service fee could be applied to costs if you end up needing them to really fix something.I would use them again in the future regardless because it was such quality work!

Eddy was super helpful on the phone with the initial consultation and extremely professional. The technician that came out, Ben, was very thorough and answered all my questions. Really cared about explaining everything to me, how it worked, why there were issues, etc. This company has gone above and beyond and I highly recommend. I was so anxious about finding a company with integrity that wouldn't be outrageous with their pricing, etc. and my experience with this company completely calmed any fears I had. They have a customer for life! Will definitely use again and I highly recommend!

Corey was an amazing technician. He not only did a quick, professional job, he explained a lot of electrical installation I didn't know. A superior installation experience. Update 1/26/2022: Another great installation. Taylor and Corey did a very professional job. I will definitely be calling 5th Generation again! Update 3/2/2022: Jonathan and Ivan did a great job installing smoke detectors. Great to work with and very efficient. I've not had a bad experience with 5 the Generation. 7/9/2022 Ivan and Taylor did an awesome job installing lights and a fan. I was especially impressed with Taylor's attention to detail, making sure that the light plates looked just right.

They replaced some smoke alarms that were malfunctioning.

Used 5th Gen Electric to install a larger transfer switch, outlets, and repair some wiring in a house. Eddie (owner) was a great electrician to work with. He personally made sure to get everything I wanted completed despite a botched estimate from a (now) ex-technician. He was very knowledgeable and considerate. I didn't feel like I was being taken for and ripped off. Pricing was very competitive compared to 2 other estimates. Estimates and invoicing were performed electronically and felt very professional. Altogether, Eddie made sure everything I wanted completed was done efficiently and on time, and to my satisfaction. I would absolutely use him again, and can't recommend him enough.

They are great second time I have used them.

When I look up reviews I usually pass up the 5 star ones. You’ll likely not find any less than 5 here. 5th Gen is tops in the field; on time, done right the 1st time, and friendly like a next door neighbor. Yes, you can find cheaper. But short cuts in electricity have deadly consequences. Save a life, not a buck. Make more money; you only have one life. Every call leaves everything as it should be. Used 5th Gen four or five times in the last year. I’ve found my go-to electric guys.

Had them out to install outside lighting. Arrived on time and took care of everything that needed to be done. Josh did an excellent job of getting it all installed and Jonathan came back out to adjust the sensitivity of the fixture. Will definitely call them again with any future electrical issues that I have.

After getting two other estimates I chose 5th Generation Electric Because Eddie is a hands onOwner. He was always assessable when I had questions before and during the project; there is always someone to answer their number. I was a bit uncertain as the job required modifications/changes, but the technicians were on time, courteous, knowledgeable and provided info as they proceeded with the work. Although hesitant in the beginning, I am so satisfied that with the new circuit panel/meter electrical wiring etc my 1954 house is safe. and everything electric is functioning smoothly.Thank you 5th Generation Electric!

These guys must be the best electrician company in the Dallas area! We interviewed about 20 different electrical contractors for an extremely challenging electrical job in a very old church. Eddy, the owner of 5th Generation Electric is far more knowledgeable about all things electrical than any of the others we interviewed and has done a fantastic job with great efficiency. They also insist on offering very fair prices and when you consider the extremely high quality of work they provide, their prices seem even more fantastic. Eddy and his crew are also extremely meticulous, friendly, polite, neat and tidy. They not only cleaned up after themselves neatly at the job site, but they also cleaned up after other contractors who were there before them. Dealing with this company has been a true blessing and a real joy!

5th Generation Electric is the absolute best company out there. I had another company (the one with the fancy commercials and bald dude) come in and add an outside outlet to for my flood lights in front and in back of my house. A month later I have been having issues with my A/C tripping my breaker and couldn't figure it out. Finally, I called 5th Generation Electric and they came out to my house to find that the other company (it was actually the bald guy who did the job) tied in my new flood lights to my A/C electrical and was causing the panel to trip repeatedly. If it wasn't for Eddie, I'd still be screwing with my breaker tripping. Make sure when you call to get an electrical contractor out, you call 5th Generation Electric!

Eddie & his team completed a very complicated electrical project in a timely fashion at a very reasonable price. His experience with dealing with city inspectors made the difference between this project being a flip or flop. Definitely will use again.

I called with a panel issue and 5th Generation Electric was able to help me. Being on a weekend the price was very fair. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through everything. I highly recommend using 5th Generation Electric!

They came out because our fans kept frying out. They found loose connections and saved us from a potential fire. They fixed the rats nest of wires we couldn't tell what went where and when they got through, everything lined up and looked kinda pretty. Their prices are reasonable and they went above and beyond my expectations. I couldn't see myself going anywhere else

Eddie Nichols of 5'th Generation Electric is heavy handed and disrespectful. His work was all right but a bit high on price. I do not recommend his company.
