Andy and Devin were both professional and very timely for our need.

Very, very satisfied with the service from Mr Electric! After dealing with multiple other companies that did consultations for our problem and then completely blew us off when it came time to do the work, we were over the moon when Jose Hernandez was able to give us same day service! He was polite and knowledgeable and performed our requested tasks to the letter, even though he had to work in a ridiculously hot attic. We will definitely request him again if we ever need electric service!

While I'm pretty handy with electrical around the home, when I founded a chewed Romex cable, I knew it was time to call a professional. Mr. Electric was recommended by a family member and after I called, Mike J. was dispatched to our house. He was so kind and courteous, careful to listen to my understanding of the problem. He quickly found a solution and worked to make the repair safely and to my satisfaction with little interruption to my work day. I was so impressed with Mike's professionalism and skill and would recommend Mr. Electric to others based on his performance.

Our old house provided a few problems, but the technician was innovative with problem solving to address the items and left having resolved all items. The electrician that came to my house (Joseph) was super friendly and explained what he was going to do before he did it and why he needed to do it. He also got on the phone with a contractor who had messed up some wires under my house to resolve the problem and help me avoid having to pay for repairs a second time. They are fairly priced, call before arriving and I would highly recommend Mr. Electric and Joseph in particular for any electrical work you need done.

Electrician, Levi came out today to bid our job and started right in. He did a FANTASTIC job. He was a great listener and had great ideas. I told him my idea for a custom up-lighting on our patio ad right away, he offered to study various options and give me more choices than the limited design I had in mind. Levi the technician was very nice and professional. He gave us recommendations for how to prevent our outdoor circuit from tripping. It was very apparent that he knew what he was doing, even more so when he alone was able to notice that our entire problem was due to one single plug in the garage being tripped. Whenever we need something else done, we'll call Levi.

Devin was nice and arrived within the time window. But I was unaware of the $255 diagnostic fee until he arrived. Had I known this I may have shopped around. He found the issue quickly. I had installed a switch incorrectly, and he fixed it easily. Within 5 min. Very professional and nice. Would suggest you shop around. I can't attest to bigger jobs because he fixed it in 5 minutes.

The service technician is great but getting scheduled is impossible. I had to call multiple times even thou they said they would call me back. Just to find out they could not help. Other companies are easier to get an appointment scheduled.

Jose and George came out and installed a chandelier and new lights in the kitchen. Everything was installed perfectly and all the old lights were taken away.

Mr. Electric is a high quality contractor. We had a lot of work done to our old house and they came in at half of what I was expecting. They were able to come up with creative solutions such as remote controls instead of pulling wires, LED wafer lights, and really went above and beyond. They cleaned up after themselves and left the floors cleaner than how they arrived. They even cleaned up a few odds and ends we didn’t ask them to. Thanks Mr. Electric!

I always hate how so many electricians say a service will cost one thing, but ends up costing a lot more once they finish. What is so great about Mr. Electric is that they stick to their estimates even if a job takes longer than expected. Not only did Mr. Electric rewire my entire house, but they do all the electric jobs at my work as well. They sent Dario and Jesse out to our clinic three times now and these guys work constantly to get the job done the right way. Patty and April in the office are very helpful with all my questions. HIGHLY recommend these guys for all your electric needs.

Excellent friendly personnel who knew their business and did their job well. Was very happy with the installation. Pricing could be a bit on the high side but nothing to compare it to. In most cases I usually do my own electrical but this is high voltage high amperage stuff and I didn’t feel comfortable dealing with it.

Levi and Matthew swapped out a security light fixture for me. They kept referring to me as mister which wasn't necessary but very much appreciated. This fixture was about 30' up at the peak of my garage. They battled wasps and pesky ladybugs but got the job done. My wife really likes coming home to a well lit garage. I've used Mr. Electric twice and was very pleased with their work and professionalism. Today, I had a serious problem, I threw the breaker, and called Mr. Electric at 9:15 a.m. They told that dispatch would call me back right away. It's 5:11 p.m. right now and NOBODY has bothered to call me.
I'm NOT an electrician, but after 8 hours of waiting, I got on youtube, went to Home Depot, bought a few things, and fixed it myself. I will NEVER use this business again. You don't treat repeat customers like this and get away with it.

First day scheduled, the electrician was very late. I was told a tree fell on someone’s house, so totally understood. When he arrived, he didn’t take off his shoes or put on booties, so he got mud on our new carpet. I was able to clean it off, but still annoying. We didn’t have the right switch for the ceiling fan, so had to reschedule. Our fault, but no harm. Second scheduled time, no call, no show. I contacted them and apparently another tree fell on a house. Suspicious that’s the same excuse. Now it just sounds like a line they tell people to not get them upset. However if true, that sucks. Finally, day of, they were still super late with no notice they were arriving. Fine, I guess they were busy, but a heads up would be nice. Final straw was they drilled a GD hole in my ceiling trying to run wire. Said they don’t do drywall. Basically I’m SOL. Not happy. Do not recommend.

Matthew showed up early, found catastrophic hidden problems in our electrical panel, explained the situation clearly and saved us thousands of dollars over other companies, maybe even saving our lives. We are very blessed to have his help. Highly recommend Mr. Electric

After purchasing my first electric car, I wanted the garage equipped to handle a level 2 charging cord. I had Mr. Electric come out to determine the safest and best means of installation for my home. Unfortunately, I only had a sub-panel in my garage so they had to put in a 40 amp breaker from my main box on the outside of the home and bring a 240 v wire encased in heavy duty housing through the attic and down the garage wall. A Nema 14-50 industrial grade outlet with industrial materials were used. He made sure that he closed up any drafts from holes made with silicone. Excellent work. My only comment for improvement would be some communication issues where I needed to make a follow-up call after the initial consultation.

Mr. Electric has a great customer service system. They will come out and quote the job for free and try to schedule you quickly.

Job well done by Dario and his parnter at Mr Electric! Found th via Thumbtack app recommendation and they definitely lived up to their reviews there. Being an nuclear engineer I often find myself holding contractors even outside of work to impossible expectation but these guys did everything I wanted, exactly how I wanted, and most importantly when I needed. Would definitely use again. Extremely professional team especially for how they showed up with the disposable shoe covers and a rug so they don't dirty your floor!

Never heard back

Called and tried to get someone to service my heat pump. Guy who answered the phone was very rude and tried to sell me a different system saying my system wouldn't keep the house warm, even though it has been working for 5 years and refused to come out and service it. Ended up going with Hiller.

Levi was the technician who came to repair an outlet at my home today. He did an excellent job. I am very satisfied with his work. Will call and ask for his services again should the need arise.

I would avoid this place. They installed an EV charger for me and their piping is completely warped only 1.5 years later. Conveniently outside of the 1-year warranty. The first technician that came out said Mr. Electric should pay for it since it seemed like a product quality issue. The manager got mad at that tech and they sent out another tech who said they want to completely re-do the installation, which would run me close to another $1000. Completely unprofessional people.

We had 23 wafer lights installed in 7 different rooms on multiple floors of the house. Timely, professional and knowledgeable installation. The guys worked quickly and used multiple crews to ensure work was completed before the painters arrived. Extremely satisfied with the workmanship and final product. Already getting a quote for Phase 2.

Second review-This is my second time hiring Mr. Electric and I am more than pleased with their service. I was able to get an appointment on my desired day. The electrician arrived earlier than expected and was a cool dude. I had a push button door light switch replaced in my pantry. He made quick work of it and ran to home Depot to get the switch. I live in Murfreesboro and was surprised he made it to my house at 8:30. I didn't expect anyone till at least 9. He called ahead and gave me a 30 minute advance notice. Mr. Electric is my go to for electric needs!

Second time using Mr Electric out of Franklin. Michael and team did an excellent job. Took their time to explain what needed to be done and recommended a job I was considering already.

So they absolutely get 5 stars for customer service from an admin perspective. I was very impressed with how professional they were with scheduling and getting me in quickly. That being said I was not impressed at all with the guy who came out. He quoted me $450 to replace two outdoor sconces that were already pre-wired and should have taken an experience electrician about an hour. When I told him that my normal electrician charged about a third of that, he said he wouldn't even come out for that amount. He said they called the mom-and-pop electricians Hillbillies or something to that effect and he worked for a company. He also mentioned he had gone to school for this. Respectfully, if you went to school for this the project that I had shouldn't have taken more than an hour and $450 an hour is outrageous. My husband ended up doing the lights for me and it took him only 90 minutes and he's never done this before. Overall, based on that experience I wouldn't have them out again.

I had a less than flattering experience on the highway with one of their drivers earlier this week. When I called the number on the van, April was extremely helpful & apologetic. Later that day, the driver himself, and his supervisor called to apologize for the poor interaction. Wow! I'm not even a customer, and the way they conducted themselves, was very classy. If and when we have electrical issues, we will absolutely do business with Mr. Electric!!!

The electricians at Mr Electric are my Superheroes and friends. They saved my house from catching on fire. By discovering a red hot sizzling wire in the power box underneath the electric meter on the side of my house, and immediately alerted NES to have the electricity disconnected. After that they came back the next day and installed all new wiring to the meter and to my breaker box, and had my power restored within 24 hrs. I couldn't ask for better service. They were courteous, friendly and cleaned up b4 they left.
I would definitely recommend Mr Electric. They get a A+ from me.

TL;DR version: Hire Mr. Electric, and ask for Levi Merritt to handle your problems.

Long version: In my encounters over the phone with Mr. Electric, I found April and Patti to be cordial and helpful. They efficiently set up the times and dates and, when they took my payments, the charges were exactly as quoted.

Levi Merritt is why I'll be calling Mr. Electric again, though. Levi is polite, gracious, and self-effacing. He was happy to walk through my home with me and discuss at length my electrical problems and possible solutions, despite the fact that he had other calls to make on both days he was here. He wasn't in a rush, and he never got frustrated with me, even when I interrupted him. He didn't try to upsell me on things I don't need. He listened carefully and respectfully to all my concerns. Once he'd identified the problems, he fixed them. That's it. He left my home better than he found it at a price I can live with.

I wish I could give zero stars and still post a review. On top of paying a premium for outlets that don’t work and fixtures that are shorting out, they have cost me so much money in drywall repairs and have set my timeline on my project back significantly.

Basically, due to a scheduling conflict and a tight deadline I was unable to use my regular go-to electrician, so I called Mr. Electric—the scheduler was so nice and said they’d be able to do my project the same day that they came to give the estimate (installing 3 can lights, a pendant, a bathroom fan, and 4 outlets). I walked the electrician through everything twice. He didn’t finish the first day, which is not what I was sold on, but I get that it was a lot to do... BUT when they came back several days later the outlets were installed in the wrong places and 1 was forgotten. I called to have it fixed and he eventually came back. When he returned I walked him through it again and he did it incorrectly a second time. I called to have it fixed and someone higher up returned my call. I was kind when I spoke with him—again, I understand that things happen and I just wanted the job done ASAP and correctly. He was not super understanding, didn’t really respond to the drywall repair costs or set backs on our timeline with an apology of any kind. It was basically just a bunch of statements about how their electrician is great and he’s always right and this was obviously somehow my fault (mind you, I have 3D CAD drawings of my renovation including where outlets go and walked him through the project multiple times by this point). He said a handful of rude and condescending things to me then would catch himself, backtrack and try to re-word it to sound less offensive. The electrician returned a third time, gave me a BUNCH of attitude, worked for a few hours and left— it wasn’t correct again but I was so over it by that point, I just paid the office and let it go so I could be done with the whole thing. Now half of the outlets are not working and my bathroom fan is shorting out. I am dreading having them even come back to fix it because I don’t want the hassle of dealing with them and the damage they will do.

Mr. Electric of Franklin installed a new Electric Panel in my condo and switched out several light fixtures. I couldn't have asked for better service. Levi was prompt and more than willing to help me with all of my electrical needs. They completed the jobs all in one day and were very considerate of my time. Patti and Levi communicated with me throughout the entire process and I had no doubt that the work being done was going to be top notch. I highly recommend Mr. Electric of Franklin!

I emailed about having an electrician come out and provide a quote for the installation of a Tesla HPWC. They sent Mike out within a week and it was very straight forward process as they had a standard price for what I needed done. I was afraid of having to pay a “Tesla tax” but the quote was so reasonable I accepted it then and there. They anticipated getting me scheduled within the next week. About two hours later I got a phone call stating they had an available electrician who could do it same day. I said sure! Matthew arrived and was great to work with and I’m very pleased with the installation.

I called them out bc I a local Franklin person. They charge way too much! $400+ for replacing an outlet and junction boxing a wire. Never again. One a positive note- Levi was my electrician, he was great. Very professional.

This is the most unethical worst electrical company in Nashville Tennessee. I wouldn’t let them wire my dogs house. The owner does not even carry a valid electrical license.. He should have to have a license! whether it’s a master license or lle but the issues is he doesn’t have knowledge to gain either license! Or work experience. It’s unfair to someone like me who is now a licensed electrician to have to go through what I did to gain license!

Matthew and his team(sorry I’m blanking on the gentleman’s name) we’re extremely professional. They responded and set up a service call appointment within a 24 hour period and handled all my concerns in a short time. I would highly recommend Matthew and the Mr. Electric team for any repairs or installation work.

Joseph Lewis installed three bathroom fan/lights for us.He is a real asset for Mr. Electric. Since we weren't familiar with the company, we were uncertain about using them. After Joseph asked the right questions, patiently answered our questions, and gave us a quote, we were sold on him.

By the way, we had a quote that was for less money, but we felt the confidence in him was worth it. After he did the work professionally and cleaned up his work area, we knew we had made the right decision. Our communication with him and two of the Mr Electric team members was clear and responsive. We will definitely use them again.

Levi Merritt from Mr. Electric did a great job to fix an outdoor outlet that wasn't working. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed up like new.

Mr Electric customer service is decent, relativity professional, and respectful. Had a wall plug changed on the same wall for a TV.

The cost was very expensive. They did however replace the existing TV mount (that we already had) charged an additional fee (also more than anyone we were quoted) so to be able to successfully move the plug in for the TV

We were overcharged. Overcharging has become a behavior in the area especially with older people. I am not sure if the overcharging was due to our racial identity or because of the area or maybe both

I understand “value proposition” however spending 500 dollars or close to it for a very simple task is not justified.

We paid it. I will not be using them in the future however they did complete the job and were respectful relatively

Installed new fire alarms, tested and did diagnostic testing.

One star is too many! Tech came out to replace a GFI circuit in my pool panel. While I was standing there, the tech put the neutral wire into a wire nut with a hot set and fried my transformer. He said it was his fault and would tell his boss the same. Next business day, boss called me and initiated 3 way call with us and the tech who said transformer was fried when he got there and he did nothing wrong. Remember, I watched it smoke. Then boss accused me of trying to scam him because I knew what a hot wire was and what a GFI was . It was laughable. Would never use or recommend.

Awful!!! They cancel at the last minute, the techs act like they have no glue what is going on. They have to make multiple trips out to your house. Not worth the high price!!

The overall process was stress-free. The job well done within a week or so from my initial call. Mike’s estimate was straightforward. I got Mr. Electric to replace a foyer lighting fixture and two ceiling fans. Those are at high ceiling above 18 feet. Devin and his crew did great job. They put a drop cloth to protect my hardwood floor. After installation, they cleaned the ceiling fan blades and floor. I am extremely satisfied with Devin’s professional work. Thank you.

Madison came by my 1847 antebellum this morning and fixed two electrical headaches that I've had for at least three years: the electrical to the barn and an outlet in my daughters' room. He was professional, efficient, and showed proof of operation. Mr. Electric is my new electrician!

We had 4 ceiling fans installed and our electrician, Mathew, was great. The appointment was timely and he arrived as scheduled. Mathew was fantastic working around our dogs and was incredibly thorough with the install. He even brought in an Amazon delivery on his way back into the house! Great customer service, highly recommend.

We just had a ceiling fan replaced and had 2 new ceiling light fixtures installed in our home. Pay top dollar for some unprofessional job
2 year after, I hire a electrician( to relocate an outlet done by Mr electric) and we saw together a waterproof outlet not being waterproof whatsoever... same on other plugs Mr electric did was poorly executed......
