Needed desperate help and no service company would show up or help fix my car charger problem. Although new the previous electrician connected it wrong. I reached out to HCS electrical. At short notice, they were busy as well to come physically look at the connections however Houston took time on the phone to walk me through all the connections checking all the connections and making sure they were done correctly, each time asking for picture and observing then in great detail. I cannot thank HCS electrical enough for the timely support. For any of my home electrical needs o know who to call and rest easy that it will be taken care of well. Thank you HCS. Thank you Houston.

How can hanging a ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling with an entirely different electrical switch be an absolute pleasure? By calling HCS!

Tuesday night: Renters report issue with lights and outlets going out. Wednesday morning: Houston is on the job repairing said issue. He diagnosed and repaired the problem that two other repairmen hand’t been able to resolve. By 5pm Wednesday it looks finished and turnkey. Really happy with the communication, Houston aims to please. He took time to explain the options, to break the down details into a way that I could appreciate. Thank you for the same day work and finished job. First rate service.

We did a complete remodel on our master bathroom. Houston came in and did a great job moving the existing electric and moving switches... he does a great job... you can’t go wrong with Houston!
We smelled a melted plastic burning smell in our bonus room, panicked and cut power to the whole house. Called around and got uncertain responses from others.
Houston dropped everything and took time out of his weekend with family (was literally picking up groceries when I called) to swing by and help us figure out where it came from.
We ended up not needing any work done but we will not use anyone else if we ever need electrical work. Solid guy.

Houston has been to our home multiple times now. I think we may need to set him up with his own room! He’s replaced almost all of the light fixtures and ceiling fans and also installed some light fixtures that required cutting drywall and installing new boxes, moving outlets and switches to a different spot in the wall. He is very responsive and helpful and gives good feedback to my thousands of ideas. He looks ahead at what we may need to support adding lighting or appliances that will draw additional electricity. I appreciate his knowledge of his craft and feel very confident with his work. I highly recommend him and will continue to have him back as needed.

Houston came out to our home to run power into our crawl space for a dehumidifier. He was very friendly and professional from the first time he called all of the way through the end of the job. We also had been looking for a reliable electrician to install a dedicated power outlet in our garage for a chest freezer. We have been in middle Tennessee for two years now and have contacted about 4 different electricians to do the job for us. Many have said they will come and never show up. It's been incredibly frustrating to try and find reliable people around here but Houston was great. I will certainly be holding onto his business card if we need anything else in the future.

I am a DIYer and can do some electrical work, but when I wanted to run power to a shed I had built, I reached out to HCS Electrical. I knew two people that had used them before and highly recommended them. Houston was very prompt and clearly communicated every step of the process and even worked with me based on what I wanted to do myself. If you have an electrical need, I would highly recommend you give HCS a call first!
I recently had my crawlspace encapsulated and had a dehumidifier installed. Prior to its installation, a dedicated outlet had to be wired in to power it. The day after it was installed, coincidentally my refrigerator stopped working. I thought initially it was likely the refrigerator and not a wiring issue, after all, it was installed by a professional electrician. I had a certified GE technician come out and found that the problem was a faulting board in the refrigerator. I replaced the board and the refrigerator still had no power. GE came back out and later found that the issue wasn't the refrigerator and that the outlet that previously worked for three years wasn't pulling enough power all of a sudden. I then assumed there must have been a problem with the outlet that was installed during the encapsulation process. The encapsulation company sent out Houston (my electrician) once again who quickly diagnosed the problem. Although a coincidence, I had a faulty breaker on my breaker panel that was tied to the outlet my refrigerator plugged into. It had nothing to do with the outlet installation. During the whole process of diagnosing the issue, Houston walked me through step by step his methodology and even showed me the faulty breaker. It was clearly faulty and the culprit. Houston swapped out the breaker and my refrigerator is now running well. Houston is a friendly guy who clearly knows his stuff. He kept me informed and even taught me a thing or two. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Houston for any of your electrical needs. Thanks again!

We had a brand new dishwasher that was installed by Lowe’s suddenly stop powering on less than a month after installation. Within less than 24 hours of calling, Houston was at house fixing the problem. Extremely professional and high quality work at a very reasonable price. Although I never actually had Houston come to do any work at my home, he spent quality time with me on the phone. He took time out of his very busy schedule to listen to my problem as I described what was happening in my home. I followed his advise and called NES (Nashville Electric Service). They came out on a trouble call and found a broken line on the inbound wire coming from the street. They repaired the line at their expense of course, not mine, and my problem was totally taken care of. I called HCS when my tenant was having issues with the microwave. Since it was causing issues with the breaker I needed someone to determine if it was the breaker/outlet causing the problem or if the microwave was messed up. Houston coordinated directly with my tenant and was onsite within 24 hours. He ran diagnostics on the circuit, tested the breaker, inspected the panel wiring, and outlet wiring. All of his tests proved the microwave was messed up and the circuit breaker and outlet were in good shape and working properly. The work was done right, quickly, and at a good price.
