Had Paul the owner come by first and take a look at the my house to install a Tesla charging station. Got the quote-- they were a bit higher than their competition but far more professional -- Went with them and Samantha- booked the service call--

Mike and Will arrived right on time and they sent me a text message ten minutes before the arrival.

Mike explained everything they were going to do and called me down to the garage when they had a few options for me to look at.

Ran the wiring and in about two hours they were done.

I had the same experience as another review. I was met promptly and professionally for an estimate. They even answered my first cost question. But when I had additional questions about individual costs on the estimate, I was told that one estimate is free and subsequent estimates are $50 each. It’s concerning that a service provider were be so hesitant to itemize costs.

Will was very courteous and helpful. Did a great job on installing a new 20amp circuit for a freezer.

Excellent Tesla Wall Charger Installation

I recently had the pleasure of working with Will Robertson and Blake from Gervais Electric to install my Tesla Wall Charger, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Will and Blake arrived on time and were very courteous throughout the installation process. They took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions. They were also very respectful of my property and left the work area clean and tidy.

The installation itself was flawless, and the Tesla Wall Charger is working perfectly. I appreciate the attention to detail that Will and Blake put into their work, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

On time and excellent service

Called this company to help me trouble shoot a switch and outlet. Will showed up, on time and was really professional and nice. He got me all taken care of in a short amount of time. I’ll be calling them back when I redo my porch.

Gervais has helped us with several home projects. They are responsive to questions and provide good service. Today was a minor issue with a faulty outlet. Will Robertson and his helper showed up on time, identified the issue, and quickly fixed it.

Gervais Electric arrived promptly following my request for estimate and delivered the estimate the following day. However, Gervais Electric did not welcome my request for elaboration on design detail and materials. Gervais Electric became unresponsive to further contact until I got a call from the owner declining the work. When a contractor is going to make permanent modification to my home, I want to do more than close my eyes until it's time to write the check. I want to understand what specifically will be done, what it will look like, and what will be used. Gervais Electric may be the right company for those who don't mind turning a contractor loose, but I want a partner willing to communicate.... and found it in Brooks Electric LLC.

I am very pleased with the quality of work that I received from Gervais Electric. Eddie was extremely polite and did an amazing job with installing multiple lights including a foyer chandelier and ceiling fan that hung from my second floor and required an 18 foot ladder to install. I encountered a small administrative error that was immediately resolved when I called Kathy Gervais (the owner) directly on her cell phone. I am glad that I used a locally owned company that cares about their customers. I firmly believe it is important to support locally owned businesses and this is a great company to use.

Great work installing a new box and fan!

I contacted Gervais for an estimate for a Tesla charger. After receiving an estimate from them and several other electrical companies, I noticed that theirs was not only the highest bid but the ONLY company who charged to pull a permit, inspection by codes and then would “file a report” with Tesla. I contacted Tesla directly and they have NO such requirement and had no idea of any such report. I asked Gervais if they could itemize the estimate so I could see what part of the cost was for this extra work and could they omit this unnecessary work. Samantha stated she would ask and get back to me and then I never heard back from them! Questionable and unprofessional. I went with another, more transparent company that I could trust.

Best Electricians in Nashville! I have worked with contractors for over 30 years on various projects. Gervais Electric is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They have done work on my personal home as well as for clients. They are very careful and always clean up after their work. I replaced several light fixtures and added some exterior outlets in our screened in porch, and moved a chandelier to center it. The light fixtures had hundreds of tiny glass pieces and the big one was 16 feet in the air. Just beyond impressed with their care and attitude. Thank you Gervais for being exceptional!
