We used this company through a home warranty referral. The technician they send was courteous but seemed a bit green. He took out the switches and tested them for power. Then looked at the panel and said I need a new panel. We scheduled an estimator to come out a few weeks later to price a full breakerbox replacement. I was skeptical and hired another electrician to review the issue. They found a loose wire in the panel, reattached it and good to go. It seems like BHE just wanted a big job with out really diagnosing the problem.

My warranty company assigned BHE to my issue where my bedrooms outlet were tripping every time I plugged in my vacuum cleaner. What was trippy was that it would only trip on certain outlets in the room, but not others, so it was quite mysterious. BHE was able to slot me in an earlier timeslot that was initially scheduled, and Brandon the technician that came out was courteous, thoughtful, and expertly replaced a part that fixed the mysterious problem, and in the process I learned something helpful and useful. Kudos and shout out to the tech that came to help me yesterday, much appreciated Brandon!

I had them come out on a warranty repair through American Home Shield, the person they sent out (John) lied and told me because he couldn’t figure out the issue he would contact the warranty company about coming back out. I called the next day and they said it had been completed. They then reopened the request and still nothing. I ended up having a family electrician come out and he found it and fixed it in about 10 minutes.

Horrific experience. Did not follow one of the simple instructions including calling in advance. 0 of 5 stars if it was possible. Front office staff is sub-par at best <--- read other reviews regarding front office staff. wow!!

We have had a great experience with BHE. They have been very upfront, communicative and efficient in their work. Scott (and his helper)has been great to work with. They are kind, understanding and don’t make you feel dumb with questions. Holly in the office is fantastic as well. They are really on top of their game and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

We filed a claim with our warranty company and they assigned us to BHE. Scott arrived at our home and was immediately impressive as he arrived early, was kind, and actually wanted to help us. He went over and above to actually find the problems but also look beyond them to make sure nothing would come back to bite us later. He crawled under the house in 2 different areas and wasn’t afraid to do what was necessary to complete the job. I won’t hesitate to call them again in the future for any and all of our electrical needs. Scott is a genuinely good person and highly invested in what he does as an electrician as well as helping customers.

Do not use this company. If your warranty company assigns them please just click the option to choose a different contractor. I've had my phone with me and the ringer set to loud since I placed the order for service. I got on here to check to see why I haven't heard from them. Then I see they say the were unable to reach me and I need to contact them. I DID TRY TO CONTACT THEM, NO ANSWER ALL 7 TIMES I CALLED. Why fret? I'll just give my money to someone who actually wants it.

Scott came to my home this morning to do some repair work. I have a home warranty with American Home Shield. They assigned Beacon Hill electric to be my service provider. Scott was here right on time with a big smile on his face. He was a pleasure to work with. . Thank you for such a great technician!

I agree with the other reviews. The receptionist really needs to work on their customer service skills. An appointment was scheduled and booked through my home warranty and after the phone receptionist gave me the third degree, ultimately said that they couldn’t keep the appointment (because they aren’t in my area that day). They just seem very scattered and disorganized. Why would I trust them to do the job, when they can’t even manage their scheduling books?

I had some work i needed done that I was too lazy to complete myself. They came out on short notice and knocked it all out. I had even damaged a wire and they repaired it on the fly while they were on site. When i finally got the bill, it turned out to be less than I had planned for! Great guys and great company.

Had a warranty claim assigned to them, and after 4 days they never called nor returned my calls. Had to have the claim re-assigned to another company to get the work done.

My home insurance people Beacon Hill to fx my electricity the first guy came stayed probably 30 minutes said he could find where the problem was asked if I had a problem with squirrels in my attic I said yes but that was last October my electric problem didn't start until last month. Since he couldn't find the problem he called another guy to take a look. This guy was good he let me hear the machine he was using told me what the problem was and what it might take to fix it then his phone rings its the first guy he tells him what he found and the guy on the phone proceeded to tell him that's not the problem it's because of squirrels not knowing I could hear the conversation the last guy says he has to go to the trunk and talk to him. Then my insurance company calls and says the first guy says he went in the attic and found squirrels were the problem which was a lie because you can only get to my attic from inside my house and he never even asked about going in the attic I paid 75 dollars for nothing I have never had a company falsify work did he think they wouldn't tell about going in the attic or me listening to him talk to the other guy very disappointed

I had a smoke alarm beeping in my stairway that is too high for me to reach comfortably. Scott from Beacon Hill came out to take a look. He grabbed his tallest ladder, asked for a towel to put on the top portion of the ladder so he wouldn't damage my walls and figured out how to get it setup so he could reach the smoke alarm safely. He was very friendly and professional. Would mostly definitely request Scott from Beacon again, should I have any additional electrical needs.

I got connected to Beacon Hill via my home warranty company. Didn't know what to expect for my mysterious electrical situation. The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed my issue and proceeded to go above and beyond, checking on outdoor receptacles and replacing two that were iffy. He spoke in plain english (meaning to say, not a bunch of electrician jargon that I couldn't understand), and fixed it. I kind of expected the charge to be more than the $100, but I was wrong... it was exactly that. I highly recommend Beacon Hill Electric and I'll use them again if I have another electrical problem.

Tree fell in my back yard and struck the power line stretching from the street to my home, ripping the riser off my house. Beacon Hill Electric was prompt, communicated excellently, fairly priced, and the work was professional quality. Couldn't have asked for a better experience to resolve a pretty miserable problem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Beacon hill Electric sent John Wente to my house to fix a ceiling fan he did an awesome job ,very courteous ,very professional and just all around pleasant young man , with son many unprofessional people in the world today it was delightful to have John come in my home and do my repairs thank you Beacon Hill for your great service

Warranty company assigned by case to Beacon Hill Electric. The lady who answers the phone is very rude, she yells and screams at you. She also expects you to know what is going on with your appliance. Just because an appliance is working doesn't mean electrical work is not needed. First she said she did not have the work order..... after going around and around come to find out she did. Customer service is Horrible. If I could give them a zero I would.

Had to work with them due to our warranty, and it was awful. We instead decided to pay out of pocket for an actual electrician. You could not pay me to work with them again.

Just a scam apparently. Had a technician come out and actually lie to my insurance company so he would not have to fix the problem but still take my $75. Do not use this company. They will take your money without working for it.
