We hired Heartwood to cut down and remove two huge Sissoo trees in our backyard. We got estimates from three places. Heartwood's estimate was close to the lowest of the three (one other company's was twice as much!), and owner came out and did the estimate himself. He is extremely knowledgeable about trees, and explained their thorough process for killing the roots before coming back to grind the stump. On the day of the removal, the crew showed up right on time and did an excellent job. They covered all our windows with plywood sheets to prevent damage and cleaned up afterwards extremely well. The leader of the crew was even able to answer my questions about the best type of trees to plant as replacements (he was also extremely knowledgeable about trees). I cannot recommend these guys enough. Well done!

They have been to my property two years in a row and each time they have damaged flowers and my fence. I live in a senior community and we have been instructed to not speak with the workers. Had the owner come by and he basically said this plant is like a weed and will grow back and we do our best not to damage property. Hence, speaking to the owner does absolutely no good. Be careful of this company they have no regards to your personal property.
