Wonderful experience working with Joe’s New Heights Tree Service. The project was a little tricky: removing 2 large trees from inside a small internal atrium. A crane and truck equipped to remove logs and grind down stumps enabled the job to be completed in a hour without leaving a trace! Results were beyond my expectation: fast, thorough and affordable. I recommend them highly.

Here's the thing, most services claim they'll do an excellent job, they'll be on time, they'll provide you in-service updates and they'll leave your home looking like they'd never been there. Most do not come close to their promises. Then, there's Joe and his team at New Heights Tree Service. They did all the things they said they'd do, and I must have received a dozen pictures sent during the process since I was at work while Joe and his team did their work. It was reassuring to know they were so meticulous about doing everything exactly right. We are really pleased by the service, and Joe and New Heights Tree Service exceeded my expectations.

Joe and his team did an amazing job. I would never use anyone else. You can’t even tell where my sisso trees were anymore. They were quick, professional, and even cleaned up awesome. If you want amazing work at a fair price reach out to them.
We are renovating our entire backyard, including our pool. We had sissoo trees planted within 6ft of the pool decking, and in case you don't know, sissoo trees are AWFUL. Messy, invasive root systems that will destroy pool walls, patios, foundations etc. We asked Joe if they could remove them and they were able to remove all 4 trees the very next morning to accommodate pool renovations. The price was so good, we added on removing some other old bushes and fern stumps as well. Cleaned up after themselves, on time, and quick service. He even had suggestions for replacement trees. One of the only companies we haven't had to fight with to get services done and done right for our yard. Thanks man! 10/10 recommend.
After recent monsoon storms, we had one of our trees fall and land on our house and our neighbors garage. After calling 14 closer companies, with only one answering, my husband spoke with Joe. New Heights was able to come out, same day, to remove the tree from our roofs before it could cause more damage from the next storm.
Joe and his team were friendly, quick working, well prepared and the price for same day emergency tree removal was phenomenal. Joe and his team had to come back the next day because a huge dust storm came through while they were removing the stump. But nothing seemed to slow them down.
When New Heights left, our tree and stump were gone, the rocks had been raked, and the sticks were all picked up. The only way you can tell there was a tree there is from the irrigation lines that were pulled up during the storm and the broken shingles on our roof from the tree.
A huge plus for parents would be the crane (that any toddler will be fascinated by).

After a storm uprooted our huge palo verde tree, I contacted Joe, owner of New Heights Tree Service. He was quick to respond and came out just a couple of hours after I contacted him! They removed not only the uprooted tree but another we had been wanting removed at an extremely competitive price for the removal, haul off, and stump grinding. Joe was very friendly and his pride and passion for his work was clear. I have a 2 more trees I’d like to replace (Joe even provided some recommendations!) and will definitely be calling New Heights back!

Today Joe came out and did a fantastic job pruning my 35 foot tree. The tree looks great and I'm no longer worried about monsoon season. He came out a few days before and game planned what he thought we should do. He is definitely very experienced and left my tree very well balanced. He charged a very fair rate and he is totally worth it especially if you have a large tree that is important to you. I have already added him to my calendar 1.5 years down the road when I will be calling him again.

These guys are amazing. I reached out to Joe, who was at my property within 48 hours. Gave me a quote much cheaper than anticipated. I had to make sure I read the reviews, and everything looked great. Time came, he removed 3 trees that have been bothering me. He did so QUICKLY and the cleanup was GREAT. I was not planning on writing a review, but Joe took such good care of me, I had to. I did not think I would be recommending a tree removal service, but should you ever need this service, call Joe first for an opinion.

Joe and his team were absolutely fabulous. They removed the tree from my roof and made us feel so much safer. They worked so hard and were very friendly. From the initial visit to assess my extremely large Mesquite and accompanying concerns due to small yard, all the way to the day of the appointment, Joe and the entire team went above and beyond making everything a simple process for me. All of my concerns were treated with extreme care, they took the extra time to listen and were incredibly respectful of my yard, property - and even my residential wildlife moving about in the yard while they worked to complete a major trim back and stump grind. Everyone was so professional, and even the other Joe cleaned up neighbor's dog messes in my yard before I could even get out there to do so! I made sure to tell them I noticed the extra care they didn't even have to do! The other Joe even went out of his way to refill my bird baths for me on the way out. The job completed was excellent and I feel confident knowing that if the tree ultimately does require full removal, New Heights will take the best care! This company is incredibly knowledgeable regarding desert trees and I was happy to take the time to listen and learn a lot about proper care and maintenance. Thank you, again, Joe and team!
Joe and his crew were professional and courteous. They were efficient at removing 3 queen palms from my yard and left my yard cleaner than it was. They were knowledgeable about how to treat the stumps and what I could do now that the trees were cut down. They even removed an old stump I hadn't asked them to remove that was dried out! We recently had a large limb from our Australian bottle tree fall down due to high winds and discovered that the rest of the tree was rotten inside. We decided to have the whole tree and stump removed. Joe was incredibly responsive, and was able to come out later that day to give us a very reasonable quote for the removal, as well as some trimming for another tree. Our next door neighbor also wanted their large eucalyptus tree and stump removed, and Joe was able to accommodate both removals and trimming on the same day, less than a week later. Joe and his crew are amazing. Needed a ficus tree trimmed that was hanging into our neighbors yard. The branches were over their pool, house and hanging over lights they had strung. This is a professional group that didn’t break one light and cleaned up and hauled it all away. They also know how to trim ficus trees correctly. I highly recommend this business

Joe was wonderful to work with. His in depth knowledge and experience gave me all the confidence. He was quick to respond, and always on time. I live on a 1/4 acre with a variety of trees. We had trees cleaned up and trimmed and unfortunately trees that were sick and needed to be removed, along with stump grinding. Joe and his team were very thorough with their work and making sure I was satisfied. He even found a bird nest when trimming a tree and took measures to be cautious and not disturb the nest! Joe and his team were very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly did an excellent job trimming back my 25 year old overgrown ficus tree. They were mindful of my existing landscaping so as not to damage anything with their equipment, and they were accommodating to my preferences along the way. I would highly recommend.
They removed two large trees and 1 large shrub and ground the tree stumps down a few inches below ground level. Great price, very professional and courteous. Joe made sure the job was done completely and that the job site was cleaned up before they left. He checked back a few days later to see if we had any questions or concerns. We recently had Joe and his crew return for some additional tree service. Our large backyard Mesquite tree was in need of some serious thinning. We additionally needed an Ironwood tree cut back...it had previously failed and blocked the garage access.
It was decided that additional trimming was required.

Joe and his team were removing a Sisso Tree from our neighbors backyard. I mentioned the roots from their Sisso Tree were growing under the block wall damaging the foundation of our pool. He explained the nature of the tree and how they can remove the roots. Not only did Joe and his team remove the roots, they removed a large Mesquite Tree and Acacia stump from our backyard all under 2 1/2 hours! Amazing job and amazing prices! In mid-August a storm hit our neighborhood hard and we had three large saguaros go down in our front yard and also had our neighbors 40' tree crash through a block fence into our backyard. Joe and his team not only cleaned up the fallen cactus in record time they removed 2 huge cactus and 3 trees in our yard that were damaged or at risk of falling on our free standing garage. These guys are very professional, efficient and the prices are fair and reasonable. Joe communicated very well and they showed up as scheduled. Would not hesitate to hire him again. Had a great experience with Joe at New Heights Tree Service! My wife and I have been dealing with an unruly Mesquite tree for the past several years. A so-called arborist who looked at it previously gave us bad advice and created more problems for us as the tree grew. Finally at wit's end, we called Joe and he came out to inspect the situation promptly. I could tell right away that he is knowledgeable about desert trees and I appreciated his frank advice about the best way to proceed. We subsequently hired him to do a fairly aggressive trimming on the tree and he did a wonderful job! The tree still looks nice and the problem areas are fewer. We will definitely have Joe and his team out again in the Spring for another trim. Highly recommended!
Joe the owner/operator of NewHeights Tree Service is phenomenal at his craft of Tree Removal and Tree Trimming! I initially was impressed on my first interaction with Joe on the telephone. The first day I called him about a quote on removing 2 large trees in my front yard he came to bid the job that evening after another job he completed. They were extremely professional, punctual and the entire job of removing 3 trees was completed in one day. 2 were 20 year old Sisso trees. Joe explained everything prior to the job. We will definitely use his company again!
First of all, I want to say thanks to Joe and his crew for helping make our trees look so good. We had a huge sweet Acacia and Joe used the man lift to access the highest branches. The other tree was a large Ironwood. They had all the right equipment to do the job. 2nd, I want to say how much I appreciate their attention to safety. They used all the right safety protection. 3rd, they were efficient. Their team work separately on both trees but kept in communication to help each other when needed. The tree in our front yard got blown down by a bad storm! I called and spoke with Joe and not even an hour later he was at my house to take a look at what needed to be done. I cannot recommend New Height Tree Service highly enough. Joe was prompt, professional, and blew away our expectations. We had a Sissou tree that was getting big in our backyard and sure to soon cause problems and Initially thought this job would have been a lot more difficult than Joe and his team made it look easy. They scoped the job, then a few days later arrived and ended up removing 3 large trees with precision and speed, and most importantly left the job extremely clean and tidy. I was blown away by how fast they cut each tree down, completely grinding down each stump and removing all the debris, which took less than 2 hours. Joe also took the time to teach us about his special method to ensure the roots don’t grow back on the sissou. Joe with New Heights is absolutely amazing. He responds quickly and professionally. I almost gave up on having my tree removed because of the outrageous prices I was being quoted. New Heights was way below their competition and they did a phenomenal job. My pine tree was gigantic and hanging over the fence into a neighbors yard, but it was not a problem for them at all. I will definitely recommend them to any friends and family.
I love these guys. They always go way beyond my expectations. They make the trees look so natural and even artistic. We had a huge Eucalyptus that was over 100 years old and it needed trimming and thinning. The tree had been neglected for several years. Joe got up in there and spent a long day working on it until it was perfect. They also trimmed a palm and three other trees that needed pruning. They cleaned it all up so quickly at the end. I was very impressed with them.

What I really appreciated was that Joe and the crew were there on time. They stayed until the project was finished and everything was cleaned up properly. All the debris was disposed of and not left behind. joe’s knowledge of trees is so useful when setting up the proper time to trim and prune without damaging and compromising the trees. Did a great job. Had to track him down as he was very busy but well worth it. Very polite, knowledgeable, let me know when he was on his way. Took down two Palo Verde trees and ground the stumps. They worked efficiently and did a great cleaned up job. They were more then affordable and if needed I would use them again. I highly recommend them.

I have a large, rather out of control Mesquite tree in my front yard. In May, I really needed to have it cut back quite a bit. When I was considering who to have come out and do the job, I remembered that I had used New Heights Tree Service back in August of 2019, and was very satisfied and pleased with the work. I called Joe, and not only did he come out and give me advice and a quote, but he remembered every detail of the work he did in 2019. Joe is very professional, has a lot of knowledge as to how to treat each situation to insure a clean look, and unlike a lot of landscapers, really considers the health of the tree when deciding the best course of action. I highly recommend New Heights Tree Service, and will use them again.
Joe and his crew provided us with SUPERB service. Joe is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest! We had four bids to remove a 20 year old Sisso tree from our front yard. Two of the arborists suggested plans similar to Joe’s- the most aggressive approach- to remove the entire root ball with a backhoe. Joe took it the next step and removed 6-8 inches of dirt and tree roots throughout the entire yard. His bid was not the cheapest or the most expensive, but it was fair as I felt he by far the most qualified for our job. It has been almost three months and we have NOT had even ONE mini tree sprout up! He has also come back to spray/treat the yard so we won’t get any sprouts. We liked him so much we had him remove some messy trees from our backyard and do some grading of the dirt. Joe is an extremely hard worker and would be out there putting in 10+ hour days on our yard. It was a BIG tree people (taller than our two story house). He was responsive by phone, and while the rain delayed our work a bit, that was not his fault. I love that he works alongside his son and we are supporting a local family business. There was also an additional worker here, who was literally SPRINTING around the yard while working. He clearly has a lot of zest for his work.
Joe has also provided us with several recommendations for other services we needed. He was honest about them too, and alerted us of a problem with one of his recommendations after another client had informed him of an issue so we could make a better educated choice. I highly recommend Joe and New Heights Tree Service.
Joe and his team removed a Sissoo tree from my back yard. He treated the roots (after removing the tree & stump) with a herbicide and explained to me how to further treat them. The Sissoo tree can be very invasive and the roots will continue to live unless treated. They were professional, easy to work with, communicative, conscientious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Joe and call him regarding any tree service needs.

Joe and his team did an excellent job removing our 50 ft tall sisso tree. He not only removed the tree but also ground out the stump, cut out any exposed roots, and did a treatment on the roots that were underground to kill what was remaining. He was very communicative and professional throughout the whole process. I had to work the day he removed the tree so he took pictures throughout the entire process and sent them to me. He left everything very neat and clean when the job was done and you can hardly tell there had ever been a huge tree in my backyard. I would definitely recommend him! He was also very reasonably priced.
I called to have someone come out due to a large branch that had broken off my tree and I was worried other limbs may break and it was potentially a dangerous situation. Joe answered right away and was very professional and helpful. He came out the following day and accessed the trees taking a long to to evaluate their health. He later emailed me a quote which was surprisingly affordable. I let him know I would like to hire their services and they were out here just a couple days later. Several things to note, they did an excellent job of trimming the branches. I have a large pool they were working around and an above ground jacuzzi. They took great care in not allowing any branches to hit the jacuzzi and that was hard work. In addition, somehow they managed to allow very little debris in the pool. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and not damaging any plantings.
I have had several trades people help me out before but I can honestly say I have never had any service be so completely smooth, honest and fair from the minute I picked up the phone until they drove away to the truck.

We just had our second experience with Joe Alsworth.
The arborist came out to assess our trees he was knowledgeable and made recommendations regarding how the trees should be trimmed. His quote was also the most reasonable. Within two weeks of working around our confusing schedule our large ficus trees were trimmed. The crew was efficient and did a great job of cleaning up not only our yard built also the yards of our adjacent neighbors. We will use … again next year.

Joe and his crew removed a 40’ Ficus Tree that overhung 1/2 of the roof. Tree was growing into the roof and under the slab. Looking around the valley, they were the best value and came out the following Monday. They were professional and removed a risky tree safely with no issues!

I just bought a home with 5 Sissoo trees close to the house with roots impacting the house foundation and creating cracks in the back yard block walls. All trees were removed, stumps ground below the surface and debris removed. The roots were treated with an herbicide to ensure they do not try to re-sprout new trees! They did a great job removing at 21 year old Pali verde, that was rotten inside. They were very fast and efficient. They removed the stump and now it looks like a tree was never there! I’m having them come back for a few more trees. I would definitely recommend them.
