We needed a concrete company to do the first home in a project-development. We reached out to Metro Concrete in a pinch, as our prior contractor backed out. They not only stepped in to complete the job, but got done ahead of what we expected them too in a last min pinch.

SSK Concrete does excellent work. The original plan was to form on Saturday and pour on Monday.
Shawn and his team managed to arrange the pour on Saturday as well.
They arrive at the exact time they said they would. Even let me know they were on their way.
Very professional. High quality work. They accomodated my every requirement. Graded the concrete with the proper slope to ensure water flows away from the house. Even accomodated 4 small footings not in the original plan.
Pricing was as fair as most yet better than some.

My wife and I own a 53 year old house here in Phoenix and as one can imagine, the driveway, garage and back patio concrete slabs were looking a tad beat up (cracks, gouges, stains, etc.). They put us down for a three day work schedule a week or so out and BOOM, Rene and his crew were on-site, on-time as expected and got right to it with no messing around (they got ‘er done in two days)!

The results DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with how it rejuvenated our old driveway, garage and back patio whilst significantly improving the overall “curb appeal” of the house (it no doubt has increased the overall value of the property). Rene was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had, and we had NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever. If I could give less than one star, I would. I requested a quote on Tuesday. They sent a guy out Wednesday morning who told me I would get the quote later that afternoon or Thursday at the latest. It's now Friday evening and no quote. When I called to ask for an update, the lady i think he name was Candy was rude and disrespectful. My sister then called to get a quote for her house, but the lady automatically assumed she was calling to check on my quote and was rude to my sister. She didn't let her finish saying that she was looking for a quote and cut her off and said, I already told your sister the quote is on the owners desk. A respectful customer service person would have let her finish and realized she was not calling to follow up on my quote; she was trying to get a quote of her own.

Driver cleaned his chute in the street when we told him to use our trailer. Burned us with the inspector and left us to clean up his mess.

Watch out for these guys on the road they drive like maniacs especially the guy in the black truck. He tailgated me all the way down the I17 during rush hour in the carpool lane with my kid. I was going as fast as i could, 80 mph wasnt fast enough for him. Move over and save yourself and others.

I had these guys put 125' of curbing in my front yard while I was at work. For the most part it looked pretty good. Its not the best quality concrete mix out there but I'm thinking it will hold up. The first thing I noticed when I got home was a good sized lump right in the middle of my front yard. I contacted them and was told they charge more for any prep work and that their machine will follow the ground. I then told him that if I was contacted telling me there would be a lump in my yard I would have paid to have them take 3 minutes to level out the roughly 2-3 feet of uneven ground. They would not come back to fix it without charging me more which I understand but what I don't understand is it could have taken a 20 second phone call or text to let me know and very easily taken care of.
