They were far more professional than other companies that came out, were very reasonable and up front with everything and were on time, detailed in their work with my 3 color scheme and offered suggestions I did not even think of. I’ve got to figure out how to share a photo... my words won’t do it justice! After seeing Darek’s work I am convinced he could do anything! He happily spent hours with my Mom and I looking through photos and helping us decide exactly what she wanted and the best part was he kept adding the details we wanted and checking back in with us to make sure we liked how it was proceeding instead of just doing the whole thing and saying here’s what you get. Everyone in the family was impressed by his talent as well as what a nice guy he was. 10/10 would use again and will recommend to anyone who wants a fun addition to their home ... my mom chose to paint a super realistic sky scene in the domed ceiling above her bed. Definitely makes you feel like you’re waking up to a beautiful sky every morning... perfect for these times of “isolation” we are in. The depth and perfect colors used were nothing short of incredible. True artistry, we were pleasantly shocked and impressed to be honest.

I couldn’t recommend Paint Ops more!! Our 1950s home desperately needed some love and freshening up! It was no easy task, but Travis and Christian went above and beyond. They scraped, sanded, prepped, and painted in the summer heat all with a smile on their face. Now our little home’s trim, fascia boards, windows, and doors look bright and AMAZING! Not only were Travis and Christian so hardworking and talented, they were even more respectful and personable. I recently had twins and they were so thoughtful to only work near their nursery windows during awake periods. I will no doubt use Paint Ops on future projects and I would definitely suggest anyone to do the same!

We had our huge brick fireplace whitewashed and it’s gorgeous! I highly recommend Limewash as this is the second time we’ve used them and love everything from start to finish.

VanDerKolk did my iron fences. They did a fantastic job. Showed high-level of care and skill, and most importantly integrity. They did what they said they'd do. I would recommend them.

We used Improovy to paint the ceiling of our condo before we put it on the market and they did a great job. Super responsive and took care of everything. Seems to be a great solution for any move-in or move-out home painting as they were quick to accommodate our timetable and were able to provide a competitive quote via phone call, which was very convenient. There were a few items that we needed to fix after the job but their team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our project and bring it to a great compulsion. Overall a great experience with the Improovy team - highly recommend.

The best customer service in the whole wide world!

Rising Phoenix’s work was sub-par and very expensive. During the initial walkthrough, Juan portrayed a keen eye for detail and dedication to quality that his crew clearly doesn’t share (and, in retrospect, Juan only pays lip service to). There were issues with Rising Phoenix even from the beginning, with Juan not wanting to paint samples of various paints on our walls (he tried to charge me extra for this service that every other painter does for free) and instead providing small painted pieces of canvas (as if that’s a reasonable alternative when deciding which paints to use for an entire house). Then, Juan conveniently “forgot” about agreeing to include certain additional items in the quoted price as part of me giving him the contract (needless to say, if you are unfortunate enough to do business with this company, get everything in writing beforehand). Also, there is a clear disconnect between what Juan tells you he can/will do and what his crew actually does (despite him telling me several times that he met with his crew/walked through with them to “get on the same page”). As his crew isn’t detail oriented and doesn’t seem to really care about doing an excellent job (despite Juan’s claims to the contrary), they either miss many things or do them poorly. The resulting touch-up work then lead to a patchy paint job (or rather a patchier paint job, as poor use of a sprayer caused streaks and patches in several areas during the initial painting). This sloppiness also manifested in other ways, such as the crew leaving globs of dried drywall mud in river rock on the outside of the house, splattering paint on the river rock, smearing paint on my hardwood floor and bathroom fixtures, etc. Also, they straight-up lied about several things (stating that they would do various things that I asked them to but they didn’t and other things) and some of the drywall repair work they did is cracking after three months. When I pointed out various problems, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor by fixing them; at various points Juan even had the temerity to suggest said that he would address the issues if I tipped his crew. Frankly, given the positive reviews (although, in retrospect, it is telling that this company doesn’t have that many reviews given how long they’ve been in business and how busy Juan claims they are), cost, and the attention to detail that Juan portrayed during our initial walk-through, I was really disappointed and upset by the overall poor quality of the work. The one redeeming thing was the person who did a nice job of some minor exterior stucco repair. Avoid at all costs (unless you want to pay a lot for shoddy work and be frustrated by their inability to fix the problems properly despite pointing them out over and over)! There are much better painters out there who will do good work at a much better price, like the one I hired to fix all the issues that Juan’s crew caused/left behind.
