Best Your Bathroom Renovation in Phoenix AZ

Arizona Floors & More Flooring Contractor
We had Arizona Floors install flooring throughout our whole house. After a couple of years...the carpet started to buckle. We contacted Arizona floors who immediately sent the carpet layers out and had our carpet looking like new again. They didn't need to do that since the warranty had expired but they went over and above what we had expected.

MicMar Demolition, Wood & Tile Contractors Flooring Contractor
My experience with MicMar wasn't as good. Started to plan my floor project and demo with them a few months ago. Spent a lot of time and many trips to their office for picking up samples to get the exact floor that we wanted and finally a few months later we were ready to get started. In the meantime we went thru 2 floor estimators (the first one was let go and the 2nd one left the company for medical reasons) and the 3rd estimator was about to cash in on all the hard work that was done by the previous estimator until I was told that he will do me a favor and honor the price that I was giving on the floor a few months ago because the material prices went up since. So just to be clear with his statement I specifically asked him on what he is referring to. Labor prices? Internal material prices? Manufacturer prices? His response was that they are charging me less for labor and the manufacturer increased the prices on the floors we picked out. The only thing he was not aware of is that I spoke directly to the manufacturer prior and specifically asked the regional representative if they increased any pricing on this specific flooring that we picked. His answer was no. When confronting the situation and flat out calling the estimator out on his lie in a chain of emails and I also had the owner Mike copied on the email. I got an answer from the owner right away to apologize for the misunderstanding and asked me how he can help. When I replied and asked him not to insult me with a misunderstanding statement since everything is in black and white on the email chain and challenge him to explain what I misunderstood. He went silent and received an email days later from another person that work there that she is trying to explain that their buying power is not as much and they're a small shop. According to the regional representative they did not increase any prices so I'm not sure where that is coming from.
Bottom line is if you want to get your floors or any demolition done by an honest company that don't lie to try to make a sale look elsewhere. I will NOT recommend them to any of my friends and family and I hope you do the same.
I do understand that they do have to make a profit but try to be honest and don't lie to your customers that are spending a lot of money. Also if they just admit to the lie since everything was documented in an email chain maybe I would have gave them another chance.

Home Solutionz - Tempe Flooring Contractor
Sales guy was great at selling, that's where the customer service stopped. I left several messages for the project manager before and after the tile installation. No response. We were told they don't sub contact the work, have their own crews, which is not true.
Got an email the day before install that JMB Designs would be doing our install, they had two 1 star reviews, still no call back from our project manager from leaving another message and no response to our email. Thankfully the tile installation went well, not that Home Solutionz had anything to do with that except the initial scheduling. No project manager bothered to even ask about our job much less put eyes on it. They billed up front so they got paid.

Then just trying to get our baseboard installation scheduled through Home Solutionz was ridiculous. No response after repeated messages to the project manager. Outsourced call center said they escalated call to the owner and he would call and that didn't even happen.

We had all of our furniture out of the house and were expecting baseboards immediately after tile but at end of the 3rd day after tile was complete when FINALLY a project manager picked up the phone, had to schedule for the following week, which again JMB did a great job.

You pay more money hiring professionals and project manager to manage the job and that was a major let down. But, they add you into a drawing for a 10k remodel for every 5 star review that you leave for them though. Ha.

L&M Granite Countertops Flooring Contractor
Installers did not seal the granite after installing as the owners promised. Also, as a result of cutting the cabinet away for the new farmhouse sink, they left half-inch gaps on both sides of the sink. They did not advise us that gaps would be there based on the design of the existing cabinetry. If they would have suggested this before installing, we would have gotten a different sink. Now it is too late because the granite was cut to accommodate the sink we got. We called the owners to report this, Raul said it WASN’T THEIR FAULT, it’s just the way our cabinets were originally built. I said this was not acceptable and asked if he would allow this in his own house. He told me it will be too expensive to send any workers out to resolve the issue, as it would come out of his own pocket. He recommended I just fill in the gaps with some trim. (Ok, but aren’t I talking to the person I just paid $2300 to resolve issues like this?!). There were several other miscommunications throughout this project, but this review is already long enough. Bottom line: first and LAST time ever using “L&M Granite” or “Home Boost Remodels” (company goes by multiple names). They may be cheaper than other guys, but they are not licensed or bonded and UNPROFESSIONAL. If you have any issues with their work you will have zero recourse.
