Top notch professionals! Rob and his team was great to work with. This is the flooring professional everyone needs when working on your floors. Rob knew exactly what areas needed to be fixed, gave great advice, didn’t attempt to upsell me on anything, and provided excellent service. Our floors are now looking great, and I’m definitely going to be hiring his team again in the future for the rest of my home. I definitely recommend him and his team if any type of flooring service is needed!

Long story short, I inherited my mother's home after she passed away at the beginning of 2020. The current carpets were in bad shape due to previous pets. Its an older home with a concrete sub floor so I decided to remove the current flooring and grind and seal the bare concrete. I contacted AZ Home Floors and spoke with Nick Giammarino (who identified himself as the owner) and explained my plans. He advised that after his crew was done the concrete would look like a sidewalk and be ready to seal. Based on this I decided to move forward with AZ Home Floors.
After two days of work the crew wrapped up and I was left with what I would call the most unique sidewalk I've ever seen. Every inch of exposed concrete in my home was covered in deep swirl marks and gouges left by the patented grinders the crew used. Definitely not what most people would consider like a sidewalk. I followed up with Giammarino and he immediately passed me off to Jeffrey Hammons (I thought Nick was the owner?!?!). This is where things get interesting. If you look into Hammons, he is the CEO of a company in Texas called Cutting Edge Flooring Services; not AZ Home Floors. Hammons and I proceeded to have a swell old time discussing the issues for a couple of days during which Hammons continually expected me to understand all the industry specific terms he used and that were included in the contract I signed (it should be noted that the contract is pretty convoluted and allows the company's ownership to mince words to their benefit). At the end of it all, Hammons was not able to explain why I was told I'd received a sidewalk like finish (which was not the final product), instead he offered me a VERY small amount of money and asked that I sign what amounted to a nondisclosure agreement.
I said no, and Hammons got real mad. Sent me a long email yet again failing to explain where my sidewalk like finish was, threatening legal action and even going so far as to criticize my reading ability. It was a fun read to say the least.
At the end of the day I didn't get what I was told I would and when I brought it to the company's attention the owner passed me off to the CEO of another company. . .in another state. And when I didn't want to sell my silence I got a really angry, slightly childish response that included some pretty cool, empty threats. I get the feeling the company isn't doing so well (they have a Go Fund me page begging for money). Don't get me wrong, things are tough now days, for both industry and individuals but I think their desperation caused them to make some inaccurate statements so they could make a buck; just my two cents.
And get ready for a REALLY fun reply on here from the owner. I was looking over some of their other reviews and found a moderately negative review previously posted by some lady where the owner responded by accusing her of smoking pot and stating that since she was stoned she wasn't a good judge of their work. Wooohoooo cowboy! Guess that's how they do business in the great state of Texas. Sounds to me like AZ Home Floors/Cutting Edge Flooring don't take criticism very well.
Wonder what accusations they will make about me. Should be fun.

I recently hired AZ Polished Concrete to polish the floor of a newly converter carport/garage. I can't say enough good things about how this process went! Working with AZPC was very easy, their communication, promptness, attention to detail and quality were amazing! There were numerous small concerns that I pointed out with cracks and chips and all were perfectly addressed. On the first day, the guys stayed really late making sure to take care of everything they needed to. I attached a picture to this review. My concrete floors were poured in 1978 and were looking pretty bad after years of use, oil spills, paint, spackle, etc. After they were done, the floor looks FANTASTIC!

As a painting contractor, I referred Desert Coatings to one of my favorite General Contractors for a difficult car-wash epoxy application. If you can imagine the abuse those surfaces get, you can also imagine that if shortcuts were made, we would be seeing failure and have to honor stringent warranty contracts.
On shorter notice, out-of-town and in some difficult conditions, they completed on time for the mechanical installers, and trouble free. My client was very pleased, and that pleases me.
I really do not compare pricing as I believe the value is in the service and quality of product. That is the only reason I can not comment on price. As a contractor myself, I know that folks who shop on price alone... will likely learn their lesson soon enough.
Thanks Justin!
