We have a home in Arizona and another in Wisconsin, and like so many other snow birds, we spend half the year in Phoenix for the great weather! When we were hear last winter, we hired Hochuli Design & Remodeling Team to do their thing for us while we were gone. We had some conversations with Lorrie and basically told her to do her thing. She ran stuff by us, but her ideas and suggestions were right on and perfect.

And after the design stage, Scott takes over with the construction end.
They have a great working website that posts their calendar for the project, and pictures get posted every day of the work that was done that day, and the logs tell us what is going to be done tomorrow. It was fantastic to watch it happen from afar. And when we finally got back here December 1st, we were blown away by how beautiful it was. We couldn't be happier. Scott and Lorrie are fantastic.

Tried three weeks ago to get a quote on remdeling my Master Bathroom, walked in to showroom and the two women in front were rude and of no help at all. When I asked to speak to someone about a bathroom remodel, I was told that person was away at lunch.n Because I was very happy with the work they have done remodeling my kitchen 10 years ago, I went to the web site yesterday. Got a call from some representative (unknown nbr) and she was rude and seemed uninterested. Sorry it didnt work out because I think you have done great work in the past. Now a person cant even get an estimate

Purchased all the cabinetry, flooring, tile, lighting and a bunch of other items and love all the selections made by the Design Lab Team. Larry Martin

They do such amazing work! My shower head broke several months after install and they came over no problem and replaced it!

We contracted with Closets By Design to install a custom closet, laundry room cabinets and a cabinet at the end of our hallway. We were out of town during the install and came home to an unfinished product. They didn’t put doors on any of the cabinets and didn’t complete the hall closet to the agreed upon and contracted specifications. We have attempted to contact the company multiple times with ZERO response (other than from the salesperson who can’t do anything for us). At this point I am forced to dispute the charge on my credit card as that is likely the only way I’ll get their attention. Next step is to then hire someone else to come finish the work as Closets By Design doesn’t seem interested in it now that they have their full payment (which was required prior to them starting the installation). Needless to say I am very disappointed in the experience and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else. What happened to customer service and pride in your work? The owner (Gil Santos) seems a very accomplished businessman by all accounts. Perhaps he can hire himself to consult on how in a retail business, customer service is rather important.

Almost forgot…there are now dents on the top of our brand new dryer in the laundry room where someone was clearly standing. I will also be seeking a remedy for that issue as well.

Megan is amazing at what she does. I never thought about investing in interior design services before, even though I have no idea what I’m doing. But when we had a nightmare insurance claim remodel at our home in Phoenix, I reached out to Megan and she made so many stressful decisions easy for us. We also have an open floor plan which makes design overwhelming. But now after using Megan for all our spaces, our home is more beautiful than I’d ever imagine and functional in new ways for us and our family. I also had no idea what “style” I was , and Megan worked with us to uncover a style we love. I’m so grateful we made the investment with Megan. She goes above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything and often did site visits to guide us with implementing her design.

I received an estimate from Metro Builders to replace a fence that was knocked over during a monsoon. I filed a claim with my insurance company with the estimate that was paid out. Metro Builders then sent me a formal contract which I signed and executed. I had to chase them down to get them to come out and measure. Right before they started, they told me that they miscalculated and needed an extra 20% and wouldn’t honor my signed contract. Clearly lack attention to detail and wouldn’t honor the executed agreement. After that, needed to restart the process with a new contractor.
