This company couldn't even get me quote! I called them multiple times after the gentleman came and looked at my master bathroom. Even though they said they would have the owner call me, he never did! How could I ever trust a company that can't even get you a quote after 3 weeks! Excuse after excuse....onto a more reliable company

Champion Remodel Home Remodeling
After Ben did a fantastic job remodeling our daughter's kitchen, we hired him to remodel our kitchen and great room. This project involved removing a fireplace as well as some walls, and replacing floor tile throughout. Ben was easy to work with and highly dependable. He coordinated with our kitchen designer and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very pleased with Ben and hope to hire him again in the future.

atelier507 Home Remodeling
I would give 0 if I could. I sincerely wish that we had the positive experiences that other reviewers seem to have had... it is hard to believe they dealt with the same company. I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience.

We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more.

To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix.

We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family.

The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and touch up work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible.

Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower.

He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied.

The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The under cabinet lighting was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets.

Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning.

When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our new toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up.

We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was trying to run a business, that it wasn't worth it to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a million dollar project that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last.

I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.

Superior Home Remodeling Home Remodeling
Dan and Danny are a great team and do an amazing job. They are very fast, precise, and neat. We had this father and son duo convert a bathtub into a shower for my mom so it would be easier for her to use and the work they did was even better than we hoped for. Danny was on time everyday and worked very hard to get the job done. He made sure all the tiles lined up and everything was in tip top shape. He would always clean up before he left every night and kept us updated of the timeline. We definitely recommend these guys and would use them again for any other projects we may have in the future.

Check out the amazing transformation that took less than a week to complete.

Wasted over 6 months of time and money. Dion is a terrible communicator and doesn't follow though on anything he says he will do. Doesn't respond to any form of communication. (Even email which he claims is his preferred way and has an assistant. Paid almost $3k for plans and it took 4 months for them to do anything with them and get them approved. Two months later we are still trying to get him to commit to starting the project. Glad we aren't out $40k and have an unfinished project. Do not be tricked by this guy. Dion did not respond to each and every text and email I sent. I would be happy to provide screen shots of my text threads to prove it. You can lie all you want but we all know the truth. Check his other reviews, We are not the first customers that he has done this to.

Sun Country Renovations Home Remodeling
Steve and his team renovated our 1950s Arcadia Lite home this summer. We met with nearly 10 contractors to get quotes and Steve's pricing and schedule were in line with or better than most but we went with Steve based on the comfort level we had with him after our first meeting. Steve asks all the right questions and provided suggestions and inputs that made our project so much better. Our work included removing multiple load bearing walls and installing beams in our ceiling and support footers; associated drywall work and some additional drywall work; installation of all new flooring and baseboards; retexturizing of the entire great room ceiling; movement of electrical switches and outlets and installation of new recessed lighting and chandeliers/fixtures; plumbing in our laundry room; addition of a tankless water heater and the associated electrical work; removal of microwave and cabinetry and replacement with a range hood and accent backsplash in the kitchen; and the addition of an island in our kitchen. Steve was a great communicator and the only reason the project took longer and cost more than originally quoted was because of work scope we added. In fact, Steve offset some of that increased cost with cost reductions in other areas. We couldn't be happier with the results and when we complete additional renovations over time in our home we will contact Sun Country Renovations without question.

I do not live in the US at this time and in so all of our decisions, pictures ect. were done virtually. I was updated regularly. My bathroom has turned out beautifully. Highly recommend.

Maple Avenue Construction Home Remodeling
I've been looking for a contractor for an exterior remodel including construction of a new, large patio cover and new siding as well as an interior kitchen remodel. Frustrated by contractors who simply don't get back to me, I found Maple Ave Constructions whose reviews here made them sound like the company I was looking for -- a communicative and professional company that does quality work.

I spoke with Jon on the phone and he expounded upon how communication is his and his company's forte. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience.

Jon came out to my house, we spoke about my projects, and he took measurements. Before he left I asked him about how long before I'd have an estimate. He said about a week.

A week later I sent a short message just asking for a status update. No response. A couple days later I sent a short email asking the same. No response. A few days later, after the weekend, I called and left a message. The next day I got a text message saying he was still waiting for some numbers to come in. I responded with a thank you and mentioned some followup information I'd been trying to get ahold of him to discuss. No response. A couple days later I called again. No response. Again, the next day I left a message asking him to call me back. I got a text message response that he'd give me a call. That was a couple weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything from Jon. It's now been over a month since he came out to my house.

I really thought and hoped that Maple Ave Construction would be the company to work with. I was not in a rush to complete these projects but I did make it clear to Jon I wanted to firm up the project scope and budget soon, before the end of the year. I asked him if that would be an issue and he said absolutely not; his prerogative was to get that done quickly as well so we could get the project on the calendar. Well, it's the new year now.

If Jon is still intending to get me an estimate, a simple call with a status update and to address my concerns shouldn't be difficult. Otherwise, if he decided at some point not to work with me, courtesy and professionalism would dictate a simple call or message to that effect so I'm not left waiting and wondering.

Maple Ave clearly has many satisfied clients and I'm sure they'll have many more. But just be aware that not everyone has a 5 star experience.
