Nothing but good things to say about Builders Express. They installed backsplash in our kitchen and filled in a space over our fireplace. They were quick to get the job done and the work was done to perfection. So nice to have someone you can count on!

I had an 815 appointment. I got a call from the service provider at 815 that he would be late due to a meeting. He arrived by 830 and completed 2 minor tasks by 900, at which point he told me he had a 930 appointment that he didn't want to be late to. I had been told when I called to schedule service that $175 included 2 hours labor. I got 30 minutes labor for $175, not a good value for my money.

I have used this company for handyman services for a couple of years now. I have never been disappointed, and I feel that they provide quality service in a professional way at a good value. In my experience, this company keeps the best interests of its clients in mind, and they are able to come up with creative solutions to unusual problems. Very nice folks!

Estimate was expensive and lacked specificity. I passed on the vague estimate.

They underbid the job and cut corners with painting. There's only 1 person with experience, the other 3 consist of 2 teenage boys and an elderly woman who needed constant direction. They bid it to be done in 3 days, took 2 weeks and some days they didn't show or call. They changed color and finish halfway through without notice. I don't recommend these people, they quit before they finished, so we had to hire another contractor to finish the job. Watch out for the female boss, she controls the money and all of the shortcuts they take.
