I highly recommend Boz and Highlights Chicago for any challenging custom electrical installation projects that might be on your horizon! Professional, efficient, adaptable & knowledgeable are words that come to mind when describing the electricians of Highlights Chicago! After receiving several quotes for the replacement of two light fixtures, one that hung 20 ft. up in the foyer and the other that hung 17 ft. up in the primary bedroom, I chose Highlights Chicago for the job based in large part on several strong recommendations. Boz came through with his dream team of Raul, Gustavo & Christian. Original plan - use a 20' ladder for the foyer install but at 7:15 am this past Wednesday morning, the ladder quickly proved too large for the narrow foyer space. Undaunted, the crew came back the same morning and at 9:45 am, set about quickly building a 20' scaffold in the space to remove an old, wrought iron fixture that had come with the house and installing an antique store find in its place. Watching the progress, I was impressed with the speed, knowledge & teamwork that the three electricians displayed. Also, maneuvering 20 ft. up on the somewhat precarious scaffold was no easy feat, but the crew made it look effortless. Once the foyer job was finished, the scaffold was dismantled and brought up to the 2nd floor primary bedroom in order to remove an old ceiling fan that hung 17 ft. above. Down came the ceiling fan & up went the new chandelier and its numerous crystals that the team put together & hung while 12 ft. in the air. Both installs were finished by 1:45 pm, and the crew left the home spotless and the new light fixtures gleaming. Well done! I will definitely use Highlights Chicago for future rehab projects in both my real estate & interior design businesses! Thank you Highlights Chicago!

I have used Arnold Electric multiple times over the years & have never been disappointed. In the past they have installed a new meter box & switches. Today was no different, Pedro C. installed 2 bathroom fans with lights & he had to add electric lines/conduit in attic to supply the fans with electric. Pedro was very patient & explained everything very thoroughly the different options we had so we could make our decision. We were also very impressed with how Pedro conducted the Safety Inspection Checklist he was very methodical/thorough & pointed out very important things that we didn't realize. It was a great experience & I would recommend Arnold Electric.

T & D provided a quality electrical panel upgrade with a great price. The whole process went smoothly from getting a quote, to review it, to scheduling it, to installation. Other electricians in the area were extremely overpriced and some even tried to convince me to do work without a permit or contacting ComED. T & D is most use electrical contractor in the Chicago area!

I visited Dunning today who I believe was contracted to replace all unit breaker boxes in my condo several years ago. I first called and spoke with a very pleasant woman who encouraged me to stop by with the faulty breaker needing replacement that was not providing the necessary 120/240 voltages to my electric range. She noted that I should stop by mid afternoon in time to ask the service staff if a replacement was in stock or could be ordered. I did so and was greeted by two knowledgeable service men. They knew immediately what I needed and checked for a replacement in their inventory. I was given a used exact replacement breaker gratis. It resolved my voltage issue with my electric range and so I am once again a happy camper and can cook and bake once again! Thanks Dunning!

I didn't want to move my office, so I had these electrical contractors come do an upgrade and they were able to set up generators so that I could be assured to keep the doors open even if the grid goes down. Excellent job!!! Montoya Electric worked on new 400 Amp Electrical Service and new rough, wire, and trim for units 2R and 3R. Provided new gear, equipment, including wiring, conduits, fittings and circuit breakers. Also worked on outside lights and front, rear hallway lights. All work done as stated on the contract and completed on time. Even when ComEd came to check the job, they told me Montoya always does an excellent and professional work. Thank you!!!

Adams Electrical saved the day!I had a partial power outage in my home the day before Easter Sunday; not good. I called Adams Electricans to schedule emergency service. Dorian came out within the hour (actually earlier than he said) ran diagnostic tests inside the electrical panel in the basement and the outside meter. It was determined that the issue was a ComEd problem. Dorian had me call ComEd, he spoke to the rep directly to explain the issue, they came out the same day. (not to mention he waited in his car until they came)Once the guy was done, he ran to Home Depot to get a part to repair my kitchen outlet, he checked my fuse box in the basement once again and noticed I had an issue with some of my switches and a wire. He replaced them and recommended I replace the entire box, he also provided an estimate. Dorian was very professional, very knowledgeable about his craft not to mention his service charge was reasonable. I will definitely be using ADAMS ELECTRICAL again!??

I will never know if they are good electricians, but I do know they a bad at managing their voicemail- Mike's voice on the outgoing message said to leave a message after the tone- but there was no tone. Just a mailbox full message.
