Best Electric Car Charging Stations in Chicago IL

We called STS Electrician for a wiring issue in our house. Sam was friendly, professional, and clearly knew his stuff. We're super happy with the service and definitely will call STS Electrician again if we need an electrician.

I booked an appointment with them. It was confirmed online and 2 follow up email confirmations. Day of the appt they call me at 8 in the morning (my appt was at 2pm) and tell me that their free estimate is over the phone. That would have been acceptable except they never had an actual total. They just kept say $180 for the first half hour and $90 every half hour after that. I asked would the electrician let me know the actual total or estimation of time before beginning the actual work. They said they couldn't do that. They wouldn't know how long. So you want me to just let you blindly take your time doing the repairs with no real idea of how much it will be? Then I said well would your electrician still be showing up for our 2 pm appt? They said they couldn't guarantee it since they had a lot of stops scheduled for around that time. So now you're telling me that you purposely over booked and I am supposed to sit around waiting all day. I work at night so my times have to be precise because that's when I sleep which is why I had booked an appointment time and got confirmations. All of it was just a complete waste of time. There was no value for the clients time. Never have I had these problems with contractors.

Making an appointment was easy, and they were very responsive in providing an estimate (which was accurate). Jose arrived on time, and was polite and very competent. He moved a light fixture (a chandelier) from one home to another. He was careful - as the fixture was fragile - and he consistently checked with me about what he was about to do. I would definitely use them again! (As a bonus - he was nice to my dogs!!)

The electricians re-wired my house and did an excellent job. They finished the job on time. If you need an electrician in Chicago, give them a call.

I wish all contractor experiences were as they are with Hardt Electric, and Todd. Todd has helped me with many projects, large and small. He completes everything as expected, and regularly makes corrections to any existing issues found during the process. My home is old so I cannot trust just anyone with my electrical projects. He is the only one I rely on to do the job right the first time. He also makes many helpful suggestions along the way, which has been very helpful in optimizing the intended outcome and results.
