Best Breaker Panel Upgrade in Chicago IL

We're looking to perform a complete electrical overhaul on a recently purchased three flat (the wiring is extremely old and overall... not good). I called All Power for an estimate, and Tony was a pleasure to talk to. He got to the appointment early (checking ahead to make sure I was available), then laid out a couple of different approaches we could take to help me save money or, if I preferred, go all-in for a kind of deluxe option that would loop in other related repairs he could connect us with, such as drywall, plumbing, etc, via fellow contractors he's networked with. I appreciated his openness and honesty regarding the scope of the project, as well as the various options presented. We've definitely got a lot of thinking to do yet, but Tony was extremely helpful in helping us understand the ins and outs of what's to come.

The guys who came out to our house were professional, reassuring.We had two electrical boxes damaged when our water piper froze and broke. We had a very limited access crawl space and got the work done. They installed the new boxes away from the water supply (as should have been done when the house was built) to reduce the possibility that we would have the same problem again.They were happy to have helped even working in very cold conditions. They could not have been nicer.

Highly recommend Sims & Son! They were very helpful, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I contacted them for an electrical outlet issue in my condo. I didn't realize they also do plumbing. I will definitely contact them again next time I need anything repaired or installed in my condo. Thanks again Darrel!

Very skilled and professional contractors. Our home needed electric work and we knew we needed to find a quality contractor. These guys were very upfront and honest with their work. Overall they helped us with some complex electrical situation we had. Very good group of people and hardworking as well.

I had an appointment window on Friday from 11-1. At 1:02, no one called or came, so I called, only to find out the tech was delayed. (Yet no one called during the time frame to tell me that)He called me at 2:30, to say it would be 1.5 hours for him to arrive. Reschedule for Saturday @9, they waived tech fee $49. I had a squealing bathroom exhaust fan. Said it would cost $319.00 to replace. GTFOH! The dispatch guy gave me a different impression of the process, ($49-fee will include diagnosis-NOT) They have an impressive phone and tech system with texts, nice on the phone but a complete waste of my time, and their prices! Must be what pays for the fancy system :(

I called twice, and the 2 times they answered me and told me they would call me back to give me an appointment, but I never received a single call back. Very bad customer service.

We recently bought a two flat and took on a renovation project for both units. The electric for the entire building needed to be upgraded because it posed a safety hazard. We decided to work with Montoya Electric because they explained the process and were thorough in explaining the scope of work. We have had them return for additional work after that and our experience was great!

Just had All Pro come out and install some semi-flush lights in our concrete ceiling. They look great and the installers were courteous, professional and took care to keep our home clean while working. I would definitely do business with them again.

Nick is the best! He came to help with a disfunctional/broken breaker main which kept flipping off when the AC kicked on during the summer, solved my problem the same day and charged me fairly! What more could i ask for? Best of all my Ac no longer trips my breaker main now!

I will never know if they are good electricians, but I do know they a bad at managing their voicemail- Mike's voice on the outgoing message said to leave a message after the tone- but there was no tone. Just a mailbox full message.
