Best Electrical Contracting in San Jose CA

I had several electrical wiring problems and was readying my house for inspection and sale. I needed some competent electrical services immediately and texted Fast Handy Electric early in the morning. David Escobar and Edwin Sanchez arrived in their fully equipped service van within an hour. They quickly diagnosed and repaired several issues. I told them I was preparing for an inspection and they walked through my house, checking everything. They fixed a number of problems, that required installation of conduit and replacement of all exterior GFIs as well as a hidden junction box that had a broken ground wire. They were FAST and professional and capable.

I wrote a scathing and honest Yelp review about my interactions with these people. Now the issue is not their work, but how they responded to my negative review. The electrian who came to my house, Omri, called and left a long, long message saying they were going to take legal steps to get my review removed.
AFTER I edited my Yelp review to remove details, TWO MEN SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE. When I didn't answer the door (because I didn't recognize them), they left a letter once again THREATENING legal measures. They have my address and phone number, obviously, so they could have mailed the letter. They did not need to send *2* men to my house -- to intimidate me?

Apex Power and Lightning performed skillfully and professionally I received suggestions to get better benefits in terms of materials and installation I would use this company again.

The 'Bay Area Electric Group' professionals were prompt and efficient in completing the job. They resolved a persistent and potentially hazardous situation by relocating and replacing my very old and obsolete electrical panel, and added a whole house surge protection too. Benjamin was a consummate professional.

I very rarely write negative reviews, but they beyond-warranted this one because:
- way over-priced ($3,675 to switch outlets and confirm they were grounded)
- $195 invoice to fix mistakes and not send a quote
- horrible workmanship
- creepy vibes
- you’re legitimately better off working with your neighbors who look like they have a decent set of tools in their garage

Jeff first over-quoted my recently widowed mother for replacing outlets in her home and confirming they were grounded. She agreed to it though, so it is what it is.

His workmanship was awful. Over half of the outlets were crooked. Who knows if he properly attached anything. My 19 year old college roommate with no construction/ electrical experience legitimately did a better job.

After calling him back out to fix some of the mistakes, he agreed to come out and correct his work for free. Despite the shoddy workmanship, I wanted a quote for a garage spotlight that had a broken sensor.

He showed up late after rescheduling the appointment twice. When he got here, he creepily ogled me in my knee-length flowy dress (this was a few months ago when it was in the 90s). Super creepy vibe. Legitimately ask your daughters to wear long pants/ crew necks.

He fixed about half of his mistakes and said he had to look up things for the quote. He never got back to either of us with a quote. Considering our experiences with him so far, we figured we’d be better off hiring someone else.

Like six weeks later, he charged my mom an invoice for $195. TO FIX HIS MISTAKES AND PROVIDE AND NOT PROVIDE A QUOTE.

For the workmanship and price, I would legitimately be better off looking up videos on YouTube and trying to do it myself. I will never use this company again and recommend you work with legitimately anyone else. Even neighbors that you don’t really know. That’s what we did, and so far, it’s better.

Kudos for the excellent service! We're glad that this company for the service I needed for our panel breaker that won't stay on. It is working perfectly now, and the electrician was able to fix it in just a short time. Their service is top-notch, and I could not ask for more about it. I strongly recommend their services for your electrical problems!

Carlos Velo and his team have absolutely transformed our electric installation. He takes the time to understand what his clients want and is incredibly fast to provide accurate estimates and answer questions. He keeps the construction site neatly organized and clean, installing plastic wrappers in the morning and removing them at the end of every day. Most importantly, Carlos and Velo Electric have given us the best possible retrofit, installing an upgraded panel in our 50 odd years house, giving it a completely finished look.

Installed a 220V outlet for an EV. Very competent and absolutely reliable. Showed up when he said he would, did great work. Knows his stuff and was able to make smart recommendations for best way to do the installation. Not the cheapest but not expensive and the work was impeccable.

Henry and his technicians have been a great help solving some wiring issues with our home as well as installing new Ring security cameras and some outdoor lighting. They are very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be using them for our rental properties in the South Bay and Peninsula.

Worked for this electrical contractor on their VMWare project...average at best. I have certainly worked for better, more organized contractors...other than efficient management, they also seemed to be having growing pains in that they did not have adequate amounts of functioning tools for their employees to use, cutting into production, requiring crews to share tools which other, better, contractors have plenty of. Would work for them again though if the opportunity presented itself.

ARC provided exceptional service when helping add additional sockets to a commercial office space. Little guidance needed for such a hard task. They were able to finish fast and at a great price. Definitely would recommend you reach out if you need a responsive electrical team.

Whomever was driving the CHR pickup #208 southbound on US 101 today was weaving in and out of heavy traffic and not signaling. Is their work as unsafe as their driving?

Had an appointment schedule today 1/23/2019 3-5 and even called this morning to confirm that you would call 30 minutes ahead. And she said yes 20-30 minutes ahead..
