Best Repair Breaker Panels in San Francisco CA

Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

I've used BV for electrical jobs around my house on at least four different occasions, and I'll continue to call them in the future for a few simple reasons:
- They are always timely; they always show up when they say they will, sometimes they are even able to start work sooner than promised
- Every employee who has come over has been friendly, professional, and very respectful of our space
- They do excellent work

One day recently around 9 PM, I had the main breaker shut off at my house due to some electrical short, and it would not flip back on (it was stuck in the off position). I had no electricity at all, and plenty of work I needed to complete over the next couple of days. I called 11 electricians that night, hoping someone might have a 24-hour service and could charge me to come out and fix it. Only one person answered: Eddie from A 24 Electric. Not only did he answer, but he talked me through the process to reset my stuck breaker, spending 30 minutes on the phone with me, patiently, and talking me through this whole situation. The most incredible part of this call was that he was on vacation overseas, eating breakfast in another country, when he answered. When I found out he was on the call I tried to apologize and excuse myself but he really wanted to help me fix the problem before I hung up.

By the end of the call, my power was restored and he did not ask for a dollar for his time. Few companies would ever provide this level of service, even for a fee. The fact that he was so helpful, after hours, and on his VACATION no less, speaks volumes about his character and business. I will always recommend this company in the future due to this level of service. Thank you again for the help!

Very happy with my experience. It was a big job 3 panels, 2 outside that bring power from the street and 1 switch panel inside. Requiring him to deal with the City and PG&E. While other electricians seemed unsure how to do it. Trevor knew what he was talking about and got it done.

I strongly recommend Altos Electric for your home projects. I chose Altos Electric because I was referred to them by a plumbing company, and they did a great job with the project I needed them for. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time, conducted themselves professionally while onsite, and were easy to communicate with. Also, they were responsive when I asked for help with an additional small project, providing links to the products that I would need to purchase and then getting the job done.

Coil did the excellent job installing the tesla ev charger in my condo garage space. Highly recommend.

I didn't end up using REF, because Hector was such a straight-shooter that he suggested my handyman should likely have a look at the issue first to see if my electrical issue was a simple solve (and thereby save myself some money). This was after he patiently talked me through the problem on the phone and suggested some trouble-shooting. I noted REF has expertise with old SF buildings like mine, so figured I would call them back if it was a more complex issue - but thankfully, just as Hector suspected, it was not. Will certainly keep them in mind for bigger electrical jobs in the future. Thanks Hector!

Had a power outage at my place this evening.
