John did an excellent job. My big light in the kitchen burned out. It' fluorescent, hangs from the ceiling like an upside down rosebud, beautiful but a pain in the neck to fix. So many parts to remove and replace. John put in new circle tubes. He even went to a hardware store in the rain and traffic to get a LED light for the center. I am very happy with his services. I have called on him for help a few times and he's always responded promptly and fixed the problem.

I didn't end up using REF, because Hector was such a straight-shooter that he suggested my handyman should likely have a look at the issue first to see if my electrical issue was a simple solve (and thereby save myself some money). This was after he patiently talked me through the problem on the phone and suggested some trouble-shooting. I noted REF has expertise with old SF buildings like mine, so figured I would call them back if it was a more complex issue - but thankfully, just as Hector suspected, it was not. Will certainly keep them in mind for bigger electrical jobs in the future. Thanks Hector!
