I am the owner of (2) 3 family homes, (1) 6 family and (3) 30 unit mixed use all located in Brooklyn and I started using Dave from DAVEN electric 10 years ago and at first the pricing seemed a little high so I used 2 other electrical contractors who where cheaper. WARNING TO ALL cheaper does NOT cost less in fact in the long run it cost double. After getting lied to and abused by the other 2 electrical contractors and having absolute nightmares with my tenants and the DOB I went right back to DAVEN. DAVEN corrected the eras the other electrical contractors caused and refused to take responsibility for, closed the other electrical contractors there permits and delt with the DOB HANDILY. In retrospect it would have cost 50 percent less had I stayed with DAVEN ELETCRIC in the first place. A word to the wise, CHEAPER COST MORE so use a quality vender when dealing with your biggest asset such as your home, building, co-op / condo or business. In closing I USE and RECOMMEND DAVEN ELECTRIC as they EXEMPLIFY a quality electrical contractor.

After putting together most of a floor lamp I'd ordered, when I got to the very last step, it dealt with wiring that seemed too thick and long for the lamp design, but, also, it required threading the wires into a very tight lightbulb socket. It was recommended by the company who sold me the lamp to hire an electrician to handle this task since it was a bit too complicated for the layman. After compiling a list of around 10 highly-rated electricians around Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, I called/emailed each one to see about dealing with my lamp. Out of all of them, I felt the most trust with Earl and Tara at Westrise Electric. They were prompt, kind, and I felt like we had the best, most communicative conversation out of everyone I spoke with. Their quote was also very reasonable; some other competitors tried to charge me three times what Westrise did, which would have cost more than the lamp itself lol.
