Hired Javein to troubleshoot my 5 yr old Lorex security system. Two cameras were out and he figured out the lines got water in them. He sorted through various options with me- purchasing replacement cameras vs purchasing a new system. He also noticed that the DVR for the system was making a loud whiring noise indicating it could be on its way out. I ended up purchasing a new system as Lorex gave me a discount for being a customer. I compared Javein's installation price with 2 other electricians and Javein's price was better compared to other contractors. He came, installed the new system, neatly ran the wires and introduced us to the features of the system. Overall excellent service. Will certainly keep his info handy for any electrical jobs in future

I work for a property management company, we discovered CN Coterie on Yelp 2 years ago. Initially we contracted them a electrical repair on one of our property, our tenant at the time was pleased and they expressed to us that CN was punctual, professional and gave them a detail explanation of the electrical fault and solution.

After our first experience with CN we then started to use them for more of our properties. They are very reliable especially when we are in need of emergency services. If CN says that they will be there in 45 minutes then they will be there in 45 minutes. Ever since working with this company we never had a issue that needed to be repaired twice. If CN come out to make a repair then that issue is fixed, we never have to worry about the same issue recurring.

It’s a relief to know that if we have a service request on one of our properties we all that we have to do is just send CN a email detailing the work needed and they will get it done efficiently.

Flakiness and lack of accountability. After they rescheduled and pushed back my small commercial mounting project several times, I was finally stood up a 3rd time, with no apology or a follow up from either the supervisor or the receptionist. If you decide to hire this company for your mounting needs, try and get reassurance upfront that your job is not going to be too small for them, and that they are not overbooked before asking them for a COI. Also, you have to make sure that the supervisor (or person doing the work) is going to add your job to their freakin' smartphone calendar, and that they won't leave you hanging. Additionally, I also found it very uncomfortable to have the supervisor cc'd on emails without acknowledging any of them when he was involved directly in the work. I personally believe that it's important to hold yourself accountable when you miss an appointment. As for me, I'm taking my business elsewhere. The receptionist is bright and mindful (hence the 2nd star), and I think she makes a good attempt to masquerade the supervisor's lack of professionalism and flakiness.

I made an appointment for a number of small jobs to be done around my apartment. The handyman came on time and was accommodating to all my requests. He was friendly and thorough. I needed custom wood blinds installed, a light fixture in a closet replaced (that I couldn't get my building super to do it), a towel holder installed in the kitchen and a number of wall units installed. One of the walls was cement but it wasn't a problem and the end result was very professional. I thought the price was fair given the great service I received.
